The purpose of this study was to identify the geometric thinking level of students and determine the effect of gender on the geometric thinking level of pre-service mathematics students. This study is quantitative where data analysis using Mann Witney test. The sample of this research is 55 pre-service mathematics students prospective students consisting of 33 women and 22 men. The instrument in this study is the Van Hiele Geometry Test which consists of 25 multiple-choice questions. The data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that male students were 36.36% at the visualization level, 40.91% at the analytical level, 9.09% at the informal deduction level, 9.09% at the rigor level. and the remaining 4.55% are in the pre-recognition category. Meanwhile, for female students, as many as 27.27% at the visualization level, 33.33% at the analytical level, 18.18% at the informal deduction level, 3.03% at the deduction level, 3.03% at the rigor level, and the remaining 15 .15% are in the pre-recognition category. In addition to the categories above, based on data analysis, it was found that there was no gender effect on the students' geometric thinking level.

The aim of this study is to describe how the conditions of learning carried out online during the pandemic. Then what are the challenges faced and the advantages felt by teachers through online learning, as well as solutions from teachers related to increasing the effectiveness of learning mathematics during the pandemic. This research is quantitative-qualitative research. The subjects in this study amounted to 11 teachers of mathematics. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire regarding teacher responses about learning mathematics in the pandemic era. The results show that the applications used by teachers to assist the learning process include WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and others. However, there are several obstacles faced by teachers during the online learning process, for example limited facilities and the delivery of learning materials that are not optimal. The government needs to provide the needs of schools and students for online learning. Teachers also state that learning videos can help students learn during the pandemic.

This study aims to analyze the transformation of algebraic thinking and calculus of preservice the mathematics students based on SOLO taxonomy in solving differential equations problems. The research subjects were 86 students in the mathematics education study program. Subject selection uses purposive sampling (students who take courses in differential equations). Data were collected using problem-solving tests and interviews which were then analyzed using the descriptive qualitative method with the following stages: (1) transcribing test and interview data, (2) coding segmentation, (3) analyzing student thinking transformations, and (4) concluding. The results showed that the transformation of algebraic and calculus thinking was used by students at each level of thinking to solve problems. The higher the level of thinking achieved, the better and the maximum transformation of algebraic and calculus thinking used by students. These results indicate that students need to be well supported and facilitated in problem-solving to achieve higher levels of thinking, such as the relational and extended abstract levels.

Advances in technology and information today are the application of various sciences and the underlying science is mathematics. Mathematics is one of the basic provisions that are important to master in dealing with increasingly complex life problems. Through mastery of mathematics, it makes someone have good logical thinking in solving the problems at hand. In terms of responding to problems that arise, making decisions, and prioritizing appropriately, it is necessary to involve analytical skills and mathematical logic. However, many students do not know the application of mathematics in various disciplines. This community service activity is carried out in the form of an educational workshop with the theme Utilization of Mathematical Concepts in everyday life. The target of this community service activity is students from various study programs at the University of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin (UNIQHBA). Through this activity, it is hoped that it can contribute to the entire UNIQHBA academic community regarding the application of mathematics in various fields, especially culture, economics, and development, providing examples of skills related to mathematics so that they have more insight and are ready to compete in the world of work.

This community service activity aims to provide assistance to SMK teachers in Mataram City in developing project-based learning to design, implement, and evaluate project-based mathematics learning. The specific target to be produced from this service activity is the optimal understanding of SMK teachers throughout the city of Mataram related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of project-based mathematics learning. To achieve this target, mentoring was carried out for SMK teachers in Mataram City, each represented by 2 teachers in each partner school. Mentoring activities are carried out with a series of activities, namely (1) Seminars related to the general description of project-based learning and dissemination of research results that are still related to the need for project-based learning to be implemented in schools, (2) Workshop on project-based learning design, (3) Workshop on implementation project-based learning, (4) project-based learning evaluation workshops, (5) forum group discussion results from the implementation of activities in each school. The results of the service activities showed a positive response from the training participants and an increase in participants' understanding of project-based learning in mathematics learning.

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the professionalism of senior high school teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram through Classroom Action Research (CAR). This training activity is intended for teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram. The implementation of activities is presented in a workshop approach through lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and simulations. The presentation includes material on CAR, data analysis in CAR accompanied by several examples of proposal drafts and scientific publications related to CAR. The very high motivation of the participants was seen during the implementation of community service activities, in addition to the very positive response of the participants with an enthusiasm level of 90% seen during the implementation of this community service. The level of teacher satisfaction is very high with this activity and they have high hopes that further activities will be held as assistance for CAR activities in schools and are able to produce scientific papers that are worthy of publication.

Kecerdasan logis matematis dan kecerdasan linguistik merupakan dua kecerdasan yang menjadi modal penting dalam penyelesaian soal cerita matematika. Kecerdasan linguistik dibutuhkan untuk memahami dan mengartikan maksud soal. Sedangkan kecerdasan logis matematis dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan perhitungan dalam soal cerita dengan langkah dan jawaban yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kecerdasan logis matematis dan kecerdasan linguistik terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita pada siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang Utara baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex-post facto (kausal komparatif). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang Utara pada kelas XI MIA sebanyak 47 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes berupa pilihan ganda dan soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kecerdasan logis matematis memiliki hubungan yang kuat (0,786) dan memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi program linear sebesar 61,7%. 2) Kecerdasan linguistik memiliki hubungan yang kuat (0,753) dan memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi program linear sebesar , 3) Kecerdasan logis matematis dan kecerdasan linguistik memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat (0,810) dan memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi program linear sebesar . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecerdasan logis matematis dan kecerdasan linguistik memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita pada siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang Utara baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

Keyakinan terhadap kemampuan sendiri (konsep diri) diyakini dapat mempengaruhi performa siswa dalam pencapaian hasil belajarnya, sehingga dapat membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih mampu merespon positif setiap perubahan dan faktor kemampuan intelektualnya. Kemampuan intelektual yang dimaksudkan adalah kemampuan yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan berbagai kegiatan mental berupa: berpikir, bernalar dan memecahkan masalah. Dimana kemampuan intelektual dalam matematika yang dimaksudkan adalah kemampuan berpikir logis matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian expost facto dengan sifat korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara konsep diri dan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis sangat rendah dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,807 0,05 dan nilai correlation coefficient adalah sebesar 0,048 bernilai positif. Siswa yang berada pada tingkat konsep diri sedang sebesar 3,57% dan kategori tinggi sebesar 96,43%. Siswa yang berada pada tingkat kemampuan berpikir logis matematis rendah sebesar 42,86%, kategori sedang sebesar 39,28% dan kategori tinggi sebesar 17,86%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri dengan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Mataram tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 tidak memiliki hubungan.

This study aims to describe the quality of the analysis of Class VII mathematics problems of MTs Khairul Fatihin NW Ijobalit academic year 2020/2021 HOTS type viewed from the aspects of validity, reliability, difficulty level, differentiator and finisher. The type of research used is quantitative descriptip. Subjects in this study were students of Class VII MTs Pondok Pesantren Khairul Fatihin NW Ijobalit which amounted to 37 people. The object of the study was hots type math problems and the answers of grade VII students of the even Semester of the 2020/2021 school year, which consisted of 35 objective questions. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview and documentation methods. The results showed that: there are 4 questions category HOTS where all the questions cognitive level is C4 in terms of validity, item hots problem classified as a valid problem; in terms of reliability, hots problem classified as a matter of moderate reliability with an index of 0.469; in terms of differentiating power, the item about HOTS is in the category enough with a percentage of 75%; in terms of difficulty level, the item about hots classified as having a moderate difficulty level; in terms of the effectiveness of the Spieler, hots problem has a very good Spieler effectiveness because the Spieler is selected with a percentage of more than 5%.

Elementary school teachers in Cluster II of the Gerung sub-district are very rare and some have never even used teaching aids in teaching mathematical concepts. That makes students have difficulty understanding abstract mathematics subject matter, while elementary school children are still in the stage of concrete or semi-abstract thinking. Therefore, this activity aims to empower elementary school teachers in Cluster II of the Gerung sub-district in implementing Kopermatik teaching aids (Math Game Box) by providing training to elementary school teachers on how to make and use Kopermatic props. Kopermatik is a set of elementary school mathematics teaching props that include teaching aids for learning algebra, geometry, and numbers. The training methods include (1) presentation of material, (2) demonstration, (3) making of teaching aids in groups, (4) presentation of group work results, and (5) evaluation and follow-up. The service activity was located at SDN 2 Dasan Geres, with 18 elementary school teachers as participants. all participants actively practice making props for number cards and fraction cards in groups of two. The results of this activity are : (1) all participants practice making props for number cards and fraction cards in groups of two, and (2) 95% of participants can demonstrate the props they made correctly. The results of the questionnaire showed that all participants were happy with this activity and hoped that it would be held again for a longer time and with more materials. Participants can understand the training material because it is interesting and easy to understand
