Introduction : Rheumatism is an autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation of the joints and can occur chronically. Patients will experience symptoms such as pain, inflammation, joint stiffness in the morning and difficulty moving. Piroxicam has biological activity as analgesic, anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory which is more or less the same as indomethacin, the working period of this drug is quite long with a dose of 10 to 20 mg a day. Piroxicam is well absorbed in the digestive tract, 99% of the drug is bound by plasma proteins. The increase in the population of the elderly has an impact on shifting disease patterns from infectious diseases to degenerative diseases, increasing age causes changes in the body of the elderly, one of which is the muscular system such as joints, bones and other skeletal muscles that put the elderly at risk of suffering from rheumatism. Lack of knowledge affects rheumatism management. The role of nurses in this case is to provide health education to the elderly and families to increase knowledge, willingness and ability of the elderly to live healthy. Objective: To be able to understand and know about Piroxicam Drug Administration in Patients with Rheumatic Disease at the Age of 50 Years. Methods: This counseling is carried out interactively between the presenters and the participants so that it is necessary to provide further understanding of the concern about the administration of Piroxicam medicine to patients suffering from rheumatic disease at the age of 50 years. Result : The extension activity was able to increase the participants' knowledge at Puskesmas Deli Tua. Conclusion: the extension activity has been able to increase the participants' knowledge at the Puskesmas Deli Tua and the participants can understand about the administration of piroxicam medicine to patients suffering from rheumatism at the age of 50 years.

According to Permenkes No. 75/2014 on Community Health Centers, article (1) states that a community health center, hereinafter referred to as a Puskesmas, is a health service facility that organizes public health efforts and individual health efforts at the first level, by prioritizing promotive and preventive efforts. The preliminary survey results at level one health facilities show that there are still problems with the use of the p-care information system, its use is not optimal due to several reasons, one of which is the frequent errors in the P-Care application, namely P-Care officers at the Puskesmas often experience problems when going to the P-Care application. perform BPJS patient data entry, causing officers to double-enter BPJS patient data. Based on the foregoing, the authors are interested in conducting PKM which aims to provide counseling on the use of primary care at the Puskesmas Patumbak, Deli Serdang Regency. Puskesmas has a function for community health development, fostering community participation, providing comprehensive health services. The advantage of using p-care services, a more practical patient registration flow, patient data, integrated patient diagnosis process, faster referral process, easier some of the features of the p-care application: Billing Information, Procedures for Registering BPJS Kesehatan Participants Independently or Agencies, Search for Health Facilities Nearby. The importance of providing counseling on the use of primary care at the Puskesmas Patumbak, Deli Serdang regency, in order to improve the quality of service and patient satisfaction with the health workers in the hospital.

The hospital is one of the health facilities where health efforts are carried out. Health efforts are every activity to maintain and improve health, aiming to realize optimal health degrees for the community. Pharmaceutical services as one element of the main services in hospitals, are an inseparable part of the service system in hospitals that are oriented to patient care, providing quality drugs, including affordable clinical pharmacy services for all levels of society. The practice of pharmacy services is an integrated activity, with the aim of identifying, preventing and solving problems related to drugs and health. Hospital pharmacy services are one of the activities in hospitals that support quality health services. This is explained in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 1333/Menkes/SK/XII/1999 concerning Hospital Service Standards, which states that hospital pharmacy services are an inseparable part of the hospital health service system that is oriented to patient care, drug provision. quality, including clinical pharmacy services, which are affordable for all levels of society. Currently, pharmacists who work at the Granmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital are required to be able to provide patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services. The aim is to improve patient safety. Pharmacists are required to play a role in improving patient safety, especially for drug-related problems.
