Abstract

Malay literature is written work originating from Malay culture and traditions. Malay literature has a long history that reflects the culture, religion and social life of Malay society. Literature plays an important role in shaping the character of a country which can create a beautiful impression on those who see it. Malay literature which is based on values ​​not only colors the lives of nobles, but also among ordinary people. Malay culture contains morals that greatly contribute to the formation of Indonesian society. In the study of Malay literature, there are 2 aspects that must be studied and instilled in the nation's future generations, namely classical Malay literary works and modern literary works. So that Malay culture is not lost over time.

Abstract

Activities that have tasks and functions according to their provisions require fixed assets, which are an important component in supporting their operations. Indonesia uses Government Accounting Standard Statement (PSAP) Number 07 on fixed asset accounting as the asset treatment system. Every government agency that reports on its accounting treatment, including recognition, valuation, presentation, and disclosure, must use this standard statement. In addition, as a task support unit for the Tarakan City Tourism Office, the Tourism Office also provides financial reports. The purpose of this study is to determine whether this office has presented financial statements in accordance with PSAP No. 07. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the asset components of PSAP No. 07, namely asset classification, recognition, measurement, valuation, expenditure, depreciation, termination and disposal, and disclosure have met the principles of PSAP No. 07 on fixed asset accounting.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the color of LED light on the growth of shallot plants (Allium cepa L.). with the duration of illumination indoors. Methodology: The research used a randomized group design. There are seven treatments consisting of one treatment using sunlight (P0), and six treatments of artificial light each using 20-watt LED lamps. The six treatments of artificial light were conducted indoors using different light colors and durations of illumination. The six treatments are: red light color and a duration of 12 hours (P1), red light color and a duration of 15 hours (P2), blue light color and a duration of 12 hours (P3), blue light color and a duration of 15 hours (P4), white light color and a duration of 12 hours (P5), white light color and a duration of 15 hours (P6). Each treatment consists of 4 plants, totaling 28 plant samples. The production data of the plants was analyzed using variance analysis. Results: The observations indicated that the effects of light color and duration of exposure on the growth and production of red onion plants did not show significant differences, but were better compared to the sunlight exposure treatment based on all observed parameters, which included the number of leaves, plant height, bulb diameter, bulb weight, number of bulbs, and harvest age of the red onion plants. Novelty: This research is expected to provide useful guidance for farmers and business actors in practicing more efficient and sustainable shallot cultivation. Conclusion: Based on the research conducted, red onion plants are very suitable for areas with cooler temperatures; it is recommended to use a fan to regulate the room's heat, because red onion plants can grow and develop in areas with cooler temperatures. Abstract

This study is focused on the speaking skill of M.Ts. Muhammadiyah students on grade VIII because the writer saw that their speaking skill is still so low. Role-Play is a classroom activity which gives the students the opportunity to practice the language. In this study, the writer used the experimental research design which it needs the pre-test and post-test to know their progress in speaking. In experimental, there are control class (conventional class) and experimental class. The writer have to make the treatment for experimental class so that it can be seen their progress after doing the treatment before taking the post-test. In findings data, the writer has got the score of control and experimental classes’ pre-test; the control class average score is 60 and the experimental class is 63, 47. The post-test score average, control class is 65,21 and experimental class is 81,73. In pre-test, the lowest score either in control class or experimental class is 50 and the highest is 80. In post-test, the lowest score is still 50 and the highest score is still 80 , but in experimental, the lowest score is 70 and the highest score is 90. The value of the t-test is 5.41 and it means that 5,41 > 2.66. Finally, the t-test is higher than t-table for both the significance level. (5.41>2.00 and 5.41>2.66).
