Abstract

The objective of this study was to measure the effect of preparation the shrimp head waste to poultry feed. The experiment was conducted to examine the effect of soaking and steam heat treatment of shrimp heads waste (SHW) on nutrient and nutritional quality. The treatment is soaking and length of steam heat the shrimp heads waste. The experiment was designed in Completely Randomized Design, using factorial (3 x 3) with three replication. The first factors was three level concentration of the dusk rice solution (C1 = 10%; C2 = 20%; and C3 =30%), and the second factors was length steam heat ( W1 = 30 min; W2 = 45 min; and W3 = 60 min). Feed was soaked for 48 h prior to steam heat. The results showed that there was no interaction effects (P > 0.05) between concentration of the dusk rice solution and length of steam heat to dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), lipid and fiber contents of SHW but length of steam factors was significant (P<0.05) to dry matter, crude protein, lipid and fiber contents of SHW and digestibility coefficient (in-vitro) of crude protein. There were interactions (P<0.01) concentration of the dusk rice solution and length of steam factors to  chitin contents. There are no significant differences on metabolizable energy but nitrogen retention  and protein digestibility was found to be significantly (P<0.05) between the SHW processed than unprocessed. Based on comparative cost analyses and nutritive value indicated, the best treatment was filtered of the dusk rice solution with concentratin 20 % and length of steam heat for 45 min.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil tangkapan lobster air tawar (cheraxquadricarinatus) pada waktu penangkapan siang dan malam hari di Desa Sangkal, Danau Toba. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sangkal Danau Toba Kecamatan Simanindo Kabupaten Samosir Provinsi Sumatra Utara pada tanggal 31 Juli – 1 September 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode experimental fishing, menggunakan 10 unit alat tangkap bubu kawat dengan ukuran panjang 1 meter dan diameter 20 cm. Peubah yang diamati meliputi jumlah hasil tangkapan, berat total hasil tangkapan, berat per ekor dan panjang per ekor hasil tangkapan dengan analisis data mengunakan uji- t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa waktu penangkapan siang dan malam hari berbeda nyata (P<0,05) terhadap jumlah hasil tangkapan lobster, dan berat total hasil tangkapan. Panjang dan berat per ekor lobster tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) antara waktu penangkapan siang dan malam hari. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil tangkapan lobster air tawar  pada malam hari lebih banyak dari pada siang hari.Kata Kunci : Danau Toba, Lobster, Hasil Tangkapan, Siang, MalamThe purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the catch of freshwater crayfish (cheraxquadricarinatus) at the time of catching day and night in the village of Sangkal, Lake Toba. This research was conducted in Sangkal Danau Toba Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province on July 31 - September 1 2020. The research method used was the experimental fishing method, using 10 units of wire trap fishing gear with a length of 1 meter and a diameter of 20 cm. The variables observed included the number of catches, total weight of the catch, weight per head and length per head of the catch with data analysis using the t-test. The results showed that the time of day and night catch was significantly different (P <0.05) on the amount of lobster catch, and the total weight of the catch. Length and weight per lobster were not significantly different (P> 0.05) between daytime and nighttime fishing. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the catch of freshwater crayfish at night is more than during the day.Keywords: Lake Toba, Lobsters, Catch, Day, Night.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of varying levels of cattle rumen fluid obtained from abattoirs as sources of a crude enzyme on growth performances and carcass characteristics of Kerinci ducks fed rations based on local feed ingredients. The research was carried out using 140 one-week-old male Kerinci ducks. The experiment used a randomized block design consisted of 5 treatments, each with 4 replicate groups and was blocked based on body weight, while each cage unit consisted of 7 ducks. The treatments applied were R1= 0 mL RFS/kg ration (control), R2= R1 + 22 mL RFS/kg ration, R3= R1 + 44 mL RFS/kg ration, R4= R1 + 66 mL RFS/kg ration, and R5= R1 + 88 mL RFS/kg ration. The experimental ducks were fed the experimental ration for 7 weeks and fed ad libitum according to the treatment. At the end of the 7th weeks of treatment, two ducks from each cage were slaughtered and utilized for analysis of carcass and digestive organs parameters. The results showed that the addition of RFS up to a level of 88 mL/kg ration had no significant effect (p>0.05) on feed consumption, feed conversion, carcass weight, and digestive-organ weight. Still, it had significant effects on body weight gain and final body weight. The highest body weight gain and final body weight were achieved with the addition of RFS at the level of 88 mL/kg ration. It can be concluded that the addition of cattle rumen-fluid supernatant as a source of crude enzymes at the level of 88 mL/kg ration improved the growth performance of local Kerinci ducks.

Abstract

Mayoritas masyarakat di Mendahara ilir berprofesi sebagai nelayan Sondong merupakan alat tangkap yang banyak dioperasikan oleh nelayan di Mendahara ilir. Alat tangkap Sondong adalah alat tangkap aktif yang tujuan operasinya adalah menangkap udang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Keanekaragaman Crustacea dengan menggunakan alat tangkap Sondong di Perairan Mendahara Ilir Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perairan Mendahara Ilir Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur selama 30 hari, dari tanggal 15 Desember 2021 sampai 15 Januari 2022. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Data yang di himpun dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah total udang dan ikan (ekor), berat per jenis dan berat total udang dan ikan (kg), dan parameter lingkungan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah komposisi jenis, indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman dan indeks dominansi. Hasil dari penelitian ini Jumlah hasil tangkapan yang didapat selama penelitian sebanyak 776,62 kg. Hasil tangkapan crustacea di Mendahara Ilir adalah udang loreng (Parapenaeopsis sculptilis), udang kapur (Metapenaeus dopsoni), udang jerbung (Penaeus merguiensis), udang agogo (P.indicus), udang mantis (Harpiosquilla raphidea), rajungan (Portunus pelagicus), belangkas (Carcinoscorpius). Selain itu hasil tangkapan sampingan (By-Catch) sondong seperti ikan selar (Selaroides leptolepi), gulamah (Johnius trachycephalus), Pari (Dasyatis sp), ikan lidah (Cynoglossus lingua). Hasil tangkapan tertinggi, yaitu udang Loreng sebanyak 196,2 kg hasil tangkapan terendah yaitu udang mantis sebanyak 2,63 kg, hasil indeks keanekaragaman 0,98, indeks keseragamannya yaitu 0,50 dan dominansi yaitu 0,43. Kesimpulannya adalah Keanekaragaman crustacea hasil tangkapan sondong di perairan Mendahara Ilir Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur termasuk dalam kategori sedang, indeks keseragaman sedang dan dominansi rendah

Abstract

Fishermen in the waters of Sadai Village mostly use the Bagan tancap by catching using different colors of lights. The study aimed to determine the effect of light colors (white, red, yellow, green, and blue) on the Bagan tancap fishing gear on catches in the waters of  Sadai Village, South Bangka Regency. This research was conducted on April 28 - May 28 2022 in the waters of Sadai Village, South Bangka Regency. The methodused is an experimental method using a randomized block design (RBD) and Duncan's further test. The data collected includes the type of catch, the total weight of the catch, the number of catches, and environmental parameters. The results showed that the treatment of different light colors affected the number (fish) and weight (kg) of the catches on the Bagan tancap. The composition of the catch on the Bagan tancap for the species caught is squid (Loligosp) and Curvespine cuttlefish (Sepia recurvirostra) which are the main catch (HTU) while Starry triggerfish (Abalistes stellaris), mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma), Yellowtail scad (Atule mate), and Doublewhip threadfin bream (Nemipterus nematophorus) are by-catch. Based on the results, it can be concluded that blue light is a good color for catches in the form of number (fish) and weight (kg) on the Bagan tancap fishing gear

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui rasio efesiensi protein ransum pada ayam broiler yang diberi Lactobacillus plantarum dan Mannan oligosakarida (MOS) hasil hidrolisis bungkil inti sawit. Materi yang dipergunakan meliputi 270 ekor DOC strain MB 202 platinum. Ransum yang dipergunakan berupa ransum komersial Novo 511 non antibiotic growth promotor (non AGP). Rancangan yang digunakan ialah acak lengkap berpola faktorial 3 × 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor A merupakan pemberian MOS hasil hidrolisis BIS dengan taraf yakni 0%, 0,50%, dan 1% dan faktor B merupakan pemberian Lactobacillus plantarum dengan taraf yakni 0%, 0,50%, dan 1%. Peubah yang diamati meliputi konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein ransum, PBB serta rasio efisiensi protein. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, nilai yang berbeda antar perlakuan diuji lanjut dengan DMRT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penambahan Lactobacillus plantarum, MOS, dan interaksi keduanya di dalam ransum memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P kecil dari 0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein ransum, PBB serta rasio efisiensi protein ransum. Kesimpulan diperoleh adalah pemberian MOS hasil hidrolisis BIS sebanyak 1% melalui kombinasi Lactobacillus plantarum sebanyak 1% dalam ransum mampu meningkatkan rasio efisiensi protein ransum ayam broiler.

Abstract

PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran pendidikan dan ekonomi kreatif bagi peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Darul Fallah Kecamatan Bungaya, Kabupaten Gowa. Kegiatan ini juga fokus pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dengan memberikan akses informasi serta materi yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran dan keterampilan hidup yaitu pemahaman tentang pentingnya pendidikan bagi perempuan, keterampilan kewirausahaan, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam ekonomi digital. Diharapkan melalui pemberdayaan ini, peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi diri mereka, baik dalam bidang pendidikan maupun ekonomi kreatif, sehingga mereka dapat menjadi individu yang mandiri, berdaya saing, dan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Program ini tidak hanya berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter yang kuat dan siap menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pelatihan menulis puisi bagi siswa di SMA 13 Makassar bertujuan untuk menggali potensi kreativitas siswa dalam menulis puisi serta meningkatkan kemampuan ekspresi diri melalui media sastra. Pelatihan ini diadakan sebagai respons terhadap kurangnya perhatian terhadap pengembangan keterampilan menulis di kalangan siswa, terutama dalam bentuk puisi yang kaya akan nilai estetika dan ekspresi pribadi. Dalam pelatihan ini, siswa diperkenalkan pada teknik dasar menulis puisi, mulai dari pemahaman struktur, penggunaan bahasa yang puitis, hingga cara mengungkapkan ide dan perasaan secara kreatif. Selain itu, pelatihan juga melibatkan diskusi interaktif dan latihan menulis secara langsung, yang bertujuan untuk mengasah keterampilan dan memperkuat rasa percaya diri siswa dalam menuangkan ide-ide mereka dalam bentuk puisi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap sastra, serta memberikan mereka sarana untuk mengekspresikan pikiran dan perasaan melalui kata-kata. Dengan pendekatan yang menyenangkan dan aplikatif, diharapkan siswa dapat menghasilkan karya puisi yang tidak hanya mencerminkan kreativitas, tetapi juga membentuk karakter positif dalam diri mereka. Kata kunci: Pelatihan, menulis puisi
