Abstract

Integrating dynamic capabilities and social capital in tourism companies' marketing and operational management is crucial to achieving competitive advantage and providing added value to customers. From the analysis of the seven articles studied, there are similarities in recognizing the importance of adapting to market and business environment changes and managing strong relationships with suppliers, business partners and local communities. However, there are differences in the focus and approach of each article, ranging from an emphasis on managing costs and risks in the supply chain to applying technology to improve operational efficiency. The new idea proposed from this analysis is the importance of strengthening the flow of information and skills between dynamic capabilities and social capital so that companies can combine valuable market knowledge with the ability to innovate and adapt to market changes. By building solid relationships with suppliers, business partners, and local communities, companies can strengthen their brand image, increase external collaboration, and increase customer satisfaction. Tourism companies can achieve long-term sustainability through this integrated approach in an increasingly dynamic and competitive business era.

Global competence, which includes cultural awareness, adaptability, and strong communication skills, is essential for navigating this landscape. This article explores the importance of global competence in international management, how companies can develop it, and how ethical practices contribute to long-term success. It also emphasizes risk management, international collaboration, and the role of education in preparing individuals for the global workforce. By cultivating global competence, managing risks, and operating responsibly, companies can thrive in the ever-changing world of international business. The discussion in this article highlights the importance of proactive risk management, international collaboration, and the role of higher education institutions in preparing graduates with relevant global competencies. Abstract

Globalisasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk cara perusahaan beroperasi dan berinteraksi dengan pasar global. Salah satu tantangan utamanya yaitu ketidakpastian pasar yang semakin tinggi, di mana perubahan ekonomi, politik, dan sosial dapat terjadi dengan cepat. Perubahan ekonomi, politik, dan sosial dapat berpengaruh pada perubahan berbagai aspek di tingkat global. Perusahaan harus berinvestasi dalam infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai dan melatih karyawan untuk menggunakan teknologi baru. Selain itu, isu keamanan siber menjadi semakin penting seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah data yang diproses dan disimpan secara digital. Di sisi lain, aspek sosial dan budaya juga memainkan peran penting dalam mengelola lingkungan bisnis global. Perusahaan harus memahami dan menghormati nilai-nilai budaya dan sosial di pasar yang berbeda untuk berhasil dalam ekspansi internasional. keberhasilan suatu perusahaan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh strategi bisnis yang diterapkan, tetapi juga oleh faktor-faktor kepemimpinan, modal sosial (social capital), dan budaya sosial (social cultural). Kepemimpinan memiliki peran krusial dalam menentukan arah dan strategi perusahaan. Tulisan ini mengaji peran kepemimpinan, modal sosial dan kultur sosial dalam menghadapi perubahan lingkungan bisnis. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur sistematik.

Abstract

Budaya dan etos kerja memiliki peran penting dalam mempengaruhi motivasi kerja karyawan dan menjadi faktor penentu tinggi atau rendahnya kinerja karyawan. Mengingat pentingnya budaya dan etos kerja, pelatihan tentang budaya dan etos kerja penting diberikan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan pemahaman sehingga dapat memotivasi karyawan dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Pelatihan budaya dan etos kerja dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 Mei 2024 dengan peserta pelatihan meliputi pengurus, manajer, teknisi, dan para karyawan perkebunan di Desa Melo, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat. Berdasarkan hasil berbagi pengalaman antar pengurus, manajer, teknisi, dan karyawan dapat diidentifikasi beberapa hal penting untuk pengembangan sumber daya manusia meliputi: 1) perlunya aspek kesetiaan dan dedikasi sumber daya manusia terhadap organisasi, 2) perlunya keseimbangan dalam pemberian upah bagi karyawan perkebunan, 3) perlunya peningkatan sarana dan prasaranan perkebunan, 4) perlunya kejelasan dalam struktur kerja karyawan. Hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta menilai pelatihan sangat bermanfaat dan memberikan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya budaya dan etos kerja dalam memotivasi dan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Secara spesifik, pelatihan dinilai memberikan tambahan pengetahuan khususnya dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kompetensi karyawan perkebunan secara khusus dan masyarakat Flores secara umum. Dengan mempertimbangkan dampak positif kegiatan pelatihan ini, maka kegiatan penyegaran dan pelatihan serta diskusi lebih lanjut antara tim pendampung, pengurus, manajer, teknisi, serta karyawan perkebunan perlu dilaksanakan secara berkala dengan topik-topik sesuai kebutuhan karyawan.

Abstract

The younger generation has an important role in realizing Golden Indonesia 2045, therefore creativity and innovation are needed to support changes towards progress. In other words, the younger generation needs to have an entrepreneurial mindset that is able to create its own business field. Therefore, investment in education and training is necessary in developing an entrepreneurial mindset for the younger generation. This entrepreneurial mindset training activity was conducted on Mano Vocational School students who were undergoing an internship program at one of the plantations in Liang Ndara Village, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The method of implementing service is divided into three activities including presentation of material from the speakers, focus group discussions (FGD), and sharing sessions. In general, service activities are conducted as an effort to transfer knowledge from academic sources to student interns on plantations to strengthen relations between academics and the world of business. In particular, service activities are conducted to provide an understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship, increase motivation, and foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students, the majority of whom are children of local farmers. Based on the evaluation results, it can be concluded that this activity conducted well and provided significant benefits for the participants so that it was deemed necessary to conduct further activities to support the younger generation in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi dinamika bisnis yang semakin kompleks dan beragam, penelitian ini melakukan analisis mendalam mengenai peran strategis internal auditor dalam menilai risk governance pada sebuah organisasi dengan menerapkan pendekatan enterprise risk management (ERM) ISO: 31000, serta implikasinya terhadap kinerja korporasi. Proses assurance yang dilakukan oleh internal audit menjadi sangat signifikan dalam konteks ini, terutama dengan menggunakan pendekatan three lines method. Pendekatan ini secara khusus menekankan pentingnya peran tiga lini pertahanan yang saling terkait, mulai dari lini pertama yang merupakan bagian terdepan dari perusahaan dalam menghadapi risiko, lini kedua yang berperan sebagai pengontrol dan pengawas terhadap lini pertama, hingga lini ketiga yang diwakili oleh internal audit yang bertanggung jawab atas evaluasi dan analisis independen terhadap performa pengendalian yang telah diimplementasikan. Analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa internal audit memegang peran kunci dalam penerapan ERM, khususnya dalam proses identifikasi dan penilaian risiko yang mungkin timbul dalam operasional perusahaan, serta memberikan rekomendasi terkait peningkatan efektivitas pengendalian internal guna memberikan nilai tambah bagi perusahaan. Selain itu, melalui kegiatan assurance yang efektif, internal auditor dapat berkontribusi pada optimalisasi risk governance yang pada gilirannya menciptakan budaya risiko yang sehat dan terintegrasi dalam setiap aspek operasional perusahaan. Dengan demikian, peran internal auditor bukan hanya sebatas melakukan audit dan memberikan rekomendasi, tetapi juga membentuk landasan kuat bagi manajemen risiko yang berkelanjutan dan efektif dalam mendukung pencapaian tujuan perusahaan.

Abstract

The need to process the rate of information more and more quickly, forcing companies to continue on innovate in the field of information technology and devices. A large wave flow and information flow must be immediately processed and used by the company to be able to maintain and improve its business performance. This article will focus on the discussion of the success of the giant global retail and how information technology supports its success and existence. Information technology is also the reason why conventional retail is unable to compete with online retail or e-commerce. Information technology is a catalyst for complementary change, which triggers new innovations that complement each other in business processes, such as finding new ways to reach customers, and new ways to communicate with suppliers and consumers. In other words, information technology has helped build the business strategy of global retail players in developing their business strategies. Likewise what happens in the global retail industry, they will continuously evolve to follow developments in Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0. This 4.0-era global retail company is a pioneer that utilizes the industrial revolution and builds its own dynasty in new retail models introduced by the global retail industry.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the omnichannel shopping behavior of the Y and Z generations, by focusing on the role of customer involvement in mediating the influence of omnichannel integration quality on behavioral intentions, and examining the role of age in moderating the influence of customer involvement. This quantitative research uses a Likert scale, where the total number of questionnaires obtained and processed was 204 samples. This research was conducted in Surabaya with respondents from Surabaya and its surroundings. Data analysis was carried out using PLS-SEM technique, with the SmartPLS3 analysis tool. The three dimensions of omnichannel integration quality, namely channel-service configuration, integrated interactions, and assurance quality, are proven to have a positive influence on customer engagement. Customer involvement is proven to influence behavioral intentions positively, and mediate the influence of omnichannel integration quality three dimensions on behavioral intentions. Age is also proven to have a moderating role that strengthens the influence of customer involvement on behavioral intentions. One managerial implication is that generation Y should be of greater concern in efforts to develop customer engagement, compared to generation Z, to maximize customers' behavioral intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of celebrity influencer credibility, celebrity influencer attractiveness, and attitude, mediated by brand awareness, on the purchase intention of Emina products in Surabaya and outside Surabaya. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire link distributed to respondents who met specific criteria. The respondents in this study are consumers of Emina products residing in Surabaya and other cities. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, with a total of 168 respondents. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS 4.0. The results of this study indicate that celebrity influencer credibility has a positive and significant effect on attitude. Celebrity influencer attractiveness does not have a positive or significant effect on attitude. Attitude has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness. Brand awareness has a positive and significant effect on attitude. Furthermore, attitude towards purchase intention, mediated by brand awareness, has a positive and significant effect. This study provides valuable insights for companies in designing marketing strategies to enhance consumer purchase decisions for Emina products.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this research is to examine the influence of sustainable leadership on sustainable performance with the mediating effect of innovation capability and green innovation strategy at Class C Private Hospitals in Surabaya, East Java. Method: This research is quantitative in nature and was conducted using survey research. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 61 hospitals in Surabaya Raya , East Java, using a five-point Likert scale. All hypothesized relationships were tested using partial least partial structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Result: Empirical results show that comprehensive implementation of green innovation strategy significantly improves sustainability performance including economic, environmental and social performance. In addition, green innovation strategy partially mediates the influence between sustainability performance and sustainability performance significantly and positively. However, innovation capability was not proven to mediate the influence of sustainable leadership on sustainability performance.
