Abstract

DAS Alo terletak di Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo Provinsi Gorontalo. DAS Alo memiliki ketinggian antara 50 m di atas permukaan laut di bagian hilir dan 475 m di atas permukaan laut di bagian hulu. Hulu DAS Alo merupakan perbukitan – pegunungan struktural di bagian utara dan barat laut dengan kemiringan lereng yang berkisar antara 15 - 40 persen.  Di bagian selatan (hilir) di dominasi oleh bentuklahan asal solusional yaitu perbukitan karst. Karakteristik DAS Alo terdiri dari luas DAS mencapai  69.736.900 m2, panjang sungai utama 21.160.422 meter dan kemiringan sungai 2,21%. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan dan kesesuaian lahan di DAS Alo Provinsi Gorontalo. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut digunakan metode survei lapangan dan analisis laboratorium sampel tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan lahan dan kesesuaian lahan dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik Biogeofisik lahan di DAS Alo. Satuan bentuklahan perbukitan denudasional berbatu breksi memiliki kelas kemampuan lahan I, III, IV dan VI. Perbukitan struktural berbatuan breksi memiliki kelas kemampuan lahan I, II, III, IV, V dan VI. Perbukitan struktural berbatuan diorit, kelas kemampuan lahannya II, III, IV, V dan VI. Perbukitan karst kelas kemampuan lahannya III dan VIII dengan faktor pembatas lereng permukaan sedangkan kelas kemampuan lahan VII tidak dijumpai. Kelas kesesuaian lahan pertanian jagung pada kelas kesesuaian lahan S3, kelas kesesuaian lahan N1 (tidak sesuai saat ini) dan kelas kesesuaian lahan N2 (tidak sesuai selamanya). Sedangkan untuk kelas kesesuaian lahan S1 (sangat sesuai) dan kelas kesesuaian lahan S2 (cukup sesuai) tidak dijumpai di DAS Alo. Kata kunci: DAS Alo, Kemampuan Lahan, Kesesuaian Lahan.  Alo Watershed is located in Tibawa Sub-District, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The Alo watershed has a height of between 50 m above sea level in the downstream and 475 m above the sea level in the upper reaches. The upper Alo watershed is a structural hill - mountain range in the north and northwest with a slope ranging from 15 - 40 percent. In the south (downstream) is dominated by the form of land from the original solution, the karst hills. The characteristics of the Alo Watershed consist of an area of 69,736,900 m2, a main river length of 21,160,422 meters and a river slope of 2.21%. The main objective of this study is to analyze the ability and suitability of land in the Gorontalo Province Alo Watershed. To achieve this goal field survey methods and laboratory analysis of soil samples are used. The results showed that land capability and land suitability were affected by biogeophysical characteristics of land in the Alo watershed. Unit shape den denational hills breccia rocky has a land capability class I, III, IV and VI. The rocky structural breccias hills have land capability classes I, II, III, IV, V and VI. Diorite rocky structural hills, land capability classes II, III, IV, V and VI. Karst hills are land capability classes III and VIII with surface slope limiting factors while land capability class VII is not found. Corn land suitability class in S3 land suitability class, land suitability class N1 (not suitable at present) and land suitability class N2 (not suitable forever). As for the S1 land suitability class (very suitable) and S2 land suitability class (quite suitable) not found in the Alo watershed. Keywords: Alo Watershed, Land Capability, Land Suitability.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Lectora Inspire based learning media on Geographic Information System material. Lectora Inspire is an application used to create learning media associated with Geographic Information System material which is integrated with Camtasia Studio. It applies a development research method with ADDIE model as an approach in compiling the learning media, Moreover, the validation are conducted by material expert, media expert, and subject expert. This learning media is tried out limited to high school student of grade XII trough questionnaire. The collected data is research finding regarding the quality of learning media and suggestions for product revisions. The validation result from material expert reveals that the value of media validation provided by validator I or material/content experts is 83.75% with valid category, validator II or product design expert is 88% with very valid category, while validator III or subject expert or teacher of geography subject is 98% with very valid category. Thus, the average of students respond towards the learning media is 88.8%.

Abstract

The influence of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Integrend Learnig Process on the Learning Outcomes of 1 th Grade Student (An Experimental Research Implementend in SMA 1 State Senior  High School if Gorontalo). This study aimed to determine the differences in learning outcomes of student with the implementation of the Ppa-STEM learning model whilw the control class implemented the learning cycle (5E) learning model on the topic of “population planning and Development Dynamis in Indonesia”. To achieve these objecives, this research employed experimental design with post-test Control Group Design. Data collection techniques involved learning result test, which was provided towards the sample of research. The sample of the study consisted of two classes; class XIb3 of social science as the control class employed the learning cycle (5E) model. During the hypothesis testing, the homogeneity and normality test of the data was conducted in order to conduct hypothesis testing by using parametric statistics. The data normality test employed a chi-square statistical test of the pair of null hypothesis Ho and its match Hi with α = 0,05 significal rate. The test result showed that χ2count less than χ2table for the experimental class with 3,449 less than 11,070 and the control class of 1,023 less then is 9,488. The result revealed that the two data classes can be normally distributed. Based on the results of normality test data, the average score pg students learning outcomes used the statistical test. The hypothesis test results obtained tcount greater than ttable which was 6,58 greater than 2,02. All in all, the results revealed that there were differences in the learning outcomes of students who used the two aforeentioned learning models.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the differences in student learning outcomes by involving two classes,i.e. the experimental  classes taugtt by TGT learning model integrated with the STAD learning model as well as the control class taught by the STAD learning model. This experimental research involved all students of grade XI social sciences, namely the experimental class ( XI Social Sciences 2 ) and the control class ( XI Scocial Sciences 4 ).The hypothesis testing results show that the average learnig value of the students in the experimental class is 77,43  and the average learning value in the control class is 71,95. Considering the hypothesis testing results in α = 0,05, it is found that tcount = 2,447 greater than ttabel =1.679. This signifies that H0 is rejected ,and the scoes of student who lerning with the TGT cooperative learning model integration with the STAD learning model are higher that students who used the STAD cooperative learning model in Geograhy learning.

Abstract

 The Effect of Crossword Puzzle Game Media on Students’ Learning Outcomes in Geography Learning (A Case Study at Grade X IPS at Senior High School of  SMAN 1 Marisa). This experimental study is about learning outcomes which aimed to determine significant differences in students' learning outcomes using crossword media and Powerpoint media. This employed a quantitative approach where the design forms use a posttest-only control group design. In this method, we will see how the cause and effect relationships of using treatments use crosswords and PowerPoint media. In collecting data, learning test results are used in the study sample. The sample is two classes of X IPS as an experimental class with a control class, namely class X IPS 1 consisting of 32 students as an experimental class and class X IPS 3 consisting of 31 students as a control class. To take samples, the researcher used a Clauster random sampling technique or random sampling group. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference on the learning outcomes of students who were taught using media crosswords with learning outcomes of students who were taught using powerpoint media. This is indicated by the results of the t-test. Furthermore, the value of t is t count = 4,57 and t table = 1,99. The sample is stated to be significantly different if t count greater than t table. Hypothesis test results show that t count greater than t table is 4,57 greater than 1,99. Therefore, it can be concluded that from the t-test results H0 is rejected and HI is accepted. In other words, it has a significant difference.

Abstract

In the midst of the rampant currents of globalization, where humans are busy with modern concepts and thoughts, indigenous peoples are trying to continue to carry out and maintain their traditions, so that culture remains preserved along with the development of globalization. Dulohupa traditional house is one of the Traditional Houses in the Gorontalo area, there are local wisdom values in the Dulohupa traditional house that have meanings and principles in various aspects of the life of the Gorontalo people. The purpose of this study is to introduce local wisdom in the Dulohupa Traditional House in Gorontalo. This study used descriptive qualitative method, the subjects in this study were obtained using interview techniques to information consisting of managers and local communities. The results of this study show that the Dulohupa traditional house consists of elements that have their own characteristics in the form of a stage that describes the house as a human body. The roof part symbolizes the head, the body of the house depicts the body, and the support of the house depicts the legs. The philosophical value of each component of the building includes the value of trust, the value of responsibility, the value of unity and oneness.

Abstract

This research is a research conducted in the Hungayono Conservation Area, East Suwawa District. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of Maleo bird eggs. The methods used in this research are the model builder, Land Surface Temperature (LST), and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The results of the research that have been conducted show that the distribution of Maleo Bird eggs in the Hungayono Conservation Area is divided into three criteria, namely, potential one has a land area of 549.947 ha, potential two with an area of 19774.3 ha, and potential three has a land area of 6220.51. ha, so that there are differences in the potential land area of Maleo birds which are categorized based on predetermined criteria. Referring to this fact, the part of the area which is the habitat for the Maleo Bird's nesting ground should always be preserved to protect the Maleo Bird from the threat of extinction.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo dengan kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis google class room. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain post test-only control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar yang diberikan pada sampel penelitian. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen sedangkan XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengujian normalitas data menggunakan uji statistik chi-kuadrat untuk pasangan hipotesis nol H0 dan tandingannya H1 dengan taraf signifikan a = 0.05. Hasil pengujian normalitas tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa x2hitung ≤ x2daftar yaitu untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 8.000 ≤ 11.070 dan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 6.854 ≤ 11.070. Data hasil peneltian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelas tersebut berdistribusi normal berdasarkan pengujian normalitas data, maka rata-rata skor hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan statistic uji t maka hasil pengujian hipotesis didapatkan thitung > ttabel yaitu thitung 2.36 dan ttabel 2.00. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo dengan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis google class room mata pelajaran geografi.

Abstract

Pariwisata berkelanjutan merupakan konsep pariwisata yang memberikan prioritas pada keberlanjutan lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Pariwisata berkelanjutan sangat penting untuk melindungi lingkungan sebagai aset yang berharga. Indikator pariwisata berkelanjutan diantaranya lingkungan, ekonomi, sosial budaya. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena yang terjadi pada subjek penelitian, seperti perilaku, persepsi, minat, dan motivasi. Subyek penelitian yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan wisata meliputi perangkat desa, pelaku UMKM, wisatawan, dan masyarakat sekitar. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan beberapa langkah meliputi, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemerintah desa mengembangkan program antara lain a) menjaga kebersihan kampung, b) sapta pesona, c) pembuatan cindramata, d) pengusaan bahasa Inggris, dan e) pengembangan homestay. Berbagai jenis UMKM dapat ditemukan di kawasan ini, seperti penyewaan perahu, penjual cindramata, dan penyewaan homestay. Perkembangan pariwisata hiu paus terjadi pergeseran profesi yang menarik di kalangan masyarakat. Banyak dari masyarakat yang sebelumnya berprofesi sebagai nelayan kini beralih profesi menjadi pemandu wisata hiu paus. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa partisipasi seluruh elemen telah memenuhi indikator lingkungan, indikator ekonomi, dan indikator sosial budaya.

Abstract

Literasi spasial merujuk pada kemampuan individu untuk memahami, menginterpretasikan, menganalisis, dan menggunakan informasi yang berkaitan dengan ruang dan lokasi. Permasalahan literasi spasial yang dihadapi siswa adalah masih minimnya kesadaran tentang pentingnya pemahaman geografi dan kemampuan memanfaatkan informasi spasial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah survey. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 1 Bonepantai yang terdiri dari kelas X, XI, dan XII yang berjumlah 45 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket sebagai instrument untuk mengumpulkan data. Angket berisi lima belas pertanyaan dengan indikator a) pengimajinasian, b) pengkonsepan, c) penyelesaian masalah, dan d) pencarian pola. Hasil literasi spasial siswa terhadap bencana alam mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 70 dengan kualifikasi cukup. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mendapatkan tiga temuan diantaranya keterbatasan aksesibilitas informasi spasial, keterbatasan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat, serta perubahan perilaku yang dapat dilakukan.
