Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is the primary source of nutrition for infants as it can fulfill all their needs. However, the current rate of exclusive breastfeeding is still low. In Kutai Kartanegara Regency, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is only 47.5%. One of the reasons is insufficient breast milk production. Various efforts have been made to enhance breast milk production, such as providing papaya fruit dessert, as it contains lactagogue compounds that have the potential to stimulate hormones like oxytocin and prolactin. Compounds such as alkaloids, polyphenols, steroids, flavonoids, and other substances are believed to be most effective in increasing and facilitating breast milk production. To analyze the influence of papaya fruit dessert consumption on the enhancement of breast milk production among postpartum mothers in the working area of Sungai Merdeka Community Health Center in 2023. This study employs a quasi-experimental design with a "Pretest-Posttest, Control Group Design." The population includes all postpartum mothers who have given birth normally in the working area of Sungai Merdeka Community Health Center, with an average of 30 deliveries per month. The sample size was determined using the minimal sample size formula by Lemeshow, resulting in 26 participants. The measurement tools consist of observation sheets and a real bubee electric breast pump. Data analysis involves an independent t-test. There is an influence of papaya fruit dessert consumption on the enhancement of breast milk production among postpartum mothers in the working area of Sungai Merdeka Community Health Center, with a p-value of 0.000. The breast milk production in the group provided with papaya fruit dessert was significantly higher, with a difference of 39,231 ml compared to the group without papaya fruit dessert. The presence of compounds like alkaloids, polyphenols, steroids, and flavonoids in papaya fruit can enhance breast milk production.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Cakupan pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi <6 bulan di Kalimantan Timur sebesar 76%. Hal ini dikarenakan produksi ASI yang sedikit ketika masa nifas. Nutrisi sangat penting bagi ibu menyusui. Puding daun kelor yang dikombinasikan dengan kacang hijau mampu meningkatkan produksi ASI. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Pemberian Puding Daun Kelor Kombinasi Kacang Hijau STerhadap Produksi ASI pada Ibu Post Partum di Klinik Kartika Jaya Samarinda Tahun 2023. Metode: Penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan pre-postnon-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah ibu postpartum sebanyak 18 orang untuk masing-masing kelompok. Variabel independen yakni puding daun kelor kombinasi, sedangkan variabel dependen yakni produksi ASI. Uji ststistik yang digunakan yakni Uji Wilcoxon dan Uji Mann Whitney. Hasil : Hasil Uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai ρvalue sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 α. Sedangkan, hasil uji beda menggunakan Mann Whitney didapatkan ρvalue 0,002 < 0,05 α. Kesimpulan: Adanya pengaruh pemberian puding daun kelor kombinasi terhadap produksi ASI pada ibu post partum di Klinik Kartika Jaya Samarinda dan volume ASI setelah intervensi pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Tenaga kesehatan memberikan promosi kesehatan tentang nutrisi ibu nifas yang dapat meningkatkan produksi ASI.

Abstract

Anemia in adolescent girls is still a health emergency in developing countries, including Indonesia. This is still a priority scale for health management in various countries because it will harm the generation to be born. The education movement is considered very effective and efficient in preventing problems early. This study aimed to determine the influence of education on the knowledge, attitudes, and iron intake of adolescent girls at Public high schools 1 Tanjung Redeb. The research method is an experimental Quasy with a design of two groups Pre-test and Post-test conducted in May-June 2023. 50 research samples were selected in total sampling. Nutritional status is measured using anthropometric tools, and knowledge, attitudes, and food recalls are obtained using questionnaires that have been validated by tests. Independent sample T-test and Paired T-test and Wilcoxson test. The results showed that there was an effect of nutrition education in the intervention group on increasing knowledge (p 0.000) while the control group did not (p 0.100), while attitude did not affect the intervention and control groups respectively (p 0.876) and (p 0.410). Nutrient intake in the intervention and control groups (p 0.709) and (0.143) respectively. There were differences in knowledge after education in the control and intervention groups (p 0.013). Meanwhile, attitudes and iron intake were no different (p 0.722) and (p 0.100) after intervention and control education.

Abstract

Breast milk (BM) is one of the most important nutrients for baby needs. This is the best baby food for the perfection of growth and development. Increasing the knowledge and attitude of mothers is considered necessary because it contributes to parenting for their children. This research aims to determine the effect of breastfeeding education using leaflet media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women. The research is a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test with a control group research design conducted in March – April 2023 in the working area of the South Sangatta Health Center, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A total of 32 samples were involved in random sampling by taking into account inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data is analyzed with the Paired-Sample T-test. The research shows the influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using leaflet media on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.000), and the influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using non-leaflet media on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.006). There is an influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using leaflet media on the attitude of pregnant women (p = 0.000), and the influence of exclusive breastfeeding education using non-leaflet media on the attitude of pregnant women (p = 0.006). Education using leaflets is much more effective than non-leaflet education. This finding is empirical evidence that nutrition education in the form of media is encouraged to welcome changes in public perception

Abstract

Introduction: Mother's milk is the best food given to babies. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage at the Panjang Hubung Health Center is still below the target, this is due to insufficient milk production. Attempt by giving food to increase breast milk with steeping leaves of Little Bungur (Lagerstroemia Indica) which is an ingredient containing Lactagogum which can increase milk production. Objective: To find out the effect of giving little crepe leaves on the smoothness of breastfeeding in nursing mothers in the working area of the Long Hubung Health Center. Method: The type of research used in this research is experimental research. The research design is a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design with control using a comparison group. Result and Discussion: The average difference in the group intervention between the quality of breast milk before administration of little crepe leaf tea and after administration of little crepe leaf tea in the first week was 18.25 and the p-value was 0.017 <0.05, and in the first two weeks the mean difference was 4 .25 with a p-value of 0.034 <0.05. Meanwhile, in the measurements before and in the first week of the control group, a p-value of 0.039 <0.05 was obtained. While in the first week until the second week, the p-value is 0.131> 0.05, Conclusion: There is an effect of giving little crepe leaf tea on the smoothness of breast milk in nursing mothers

Abstract

Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of UPT. Damai Health Center is still relatively low, this is due to insufficient milk production. Lactagogum is a substance that can increase the production of breast milk, which laktagogum is found in shredded banana blossoms.  The research used the experimental research with design quasi-experimental and time series research design is one group pre and post test without control . The sample of this research is breastfeeding mothers in the working area of UPT. The Damai Health Center is 18 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Instrumen of research is observation paper. Data analysis  using paired t test ( paired sample t test ). After being given 200 grams of shredded banana flower with a frequency of 2 times a day for 7 days, the mean difference before and after consuming shredded banana heart on the first day was 8.33 and the p value was 0.014 <0.05. Ha accepted there is an effect of consumption of shredded banana to increasing milk production in breastfeeding mothers in the UPT work area.Damai Health Center. Abstrak   Cakupan ASI Ekslusif di wilayah kerja UPT. Puskesmas Damai masih relatif rendah, ini disebabkan produksi ASI yang tidak mencukupi. Laktagogum merupakan zat yang dapat meningkatkan produksi ASI, yang mana laktagogum terdapat pada abon jantung pisang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan rancangan quasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian time series one grup pre and post test without control. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja UPT. Puskesmas Damai berjumlah 18 orang. Teknik sampling  menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan uji t berpasangan (paired sampel t test). Hasil Penelitian setelah diberikan abon jantung pisang sebanyak 200 gram dengan frekuensi 2 kali sehari selama 7 hari didapatkan hasil p value yaitu 0,014 < 0,05. Ha diterima menunjukan ada pengaruh konsumsi abon jantung pisang terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI pada Ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja UPT. Puskesmas Damai

Abstract

Air Susu Ibu  merupakan makanan yang paling baik untuk bayi yang langsung di produksi dari payudara ibu. Mengkonsumsi Daun Kelakai dapat meningkatkan produksi ASI dan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu menyusui.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi puding daun kelakai terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI dan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu menyusui di Wilayah Kerja UPT. Puskesmas Besiq. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian time series one group pretest-posttest design, dilakukan pada bulan April 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui sebanyak 20 orang. Penentuan sampel menggunakan Total sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Paired t test, apabila diperoleh t hitung (nilai pvalue) < 0,05, maka hipotesis Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Volume ASI sebelum perlakuan sebagian besar 50-100 ml (80,0%), volume ASI setelah perlakuan mengalami peningkatan sejak hari 1 hingga hari ke 7. Pada hari ke-7 volume ASI >100 ml (30,0%), sebagian besar 50-100 ml (70,0%). Kadar hemoglobin sebelum perlakuan sebagian besar (65,0%). Kadar hemoglobin setelah perlakuan sebagian besar normal (95,0%). Terdapat peningkatan Volume ASI pada ibu menyusui sebelum dan sesudah diberikan puding Daun Kelakai pada hari ke-7 (pValue = 0,00). Terdapat peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu menyusui sebelum dan sesudah diberikan puding Daun Kelakai pada hari ke-7 (pValue = 0,00). Kesimpulannya adalah Terdapat Pengaruh Konsumsi Puding Daun Kelakai terhadap Peningkatan Produksi ASI dan Kadar Hemoglobin pada Ibu Menyusui di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Besiq. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of consuming kelakai leaf pudding on increasing breast milk production and hemoglobin levels in breastfeeding mothers in the UPT Working Area. Besiq Health Center. This type of research is aquasi-experimental research with a time series one group pretest-posttest design, conducted in April 2022. The population in this study was 20 breastfeeding mothers. Determination of the sample using total sampling. The statistical test used is the Paired t test, if the calculated t (pvalue) <0.05 is obtained, then the Ha hypothesis is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of this study were that the volume of breast milk before treatment was mostly 50-100 ml (80.0%), the volume of breast milk after treatment increased from day 1 to day 7. On day 7 the volume of breast milk was >100 ml (30.0%), mostly 50-100 ml (70.0%). Hemoglobin levels before treatment were mostly (65.0%). Hemoglobin levels after treatment were mostly normal (95.0%). There was an increase in breast milk volume in breastfeeding mothers before and after being given Kelakai Leaf pudding on day 7 (pValue = 0.00). There was an increase in hemoglobin levels in breastfeeding mothers before and after being given Kelakai Leaf pudding on day 7 (pValue = 0.00). The conclusion is that there is an effect of consuming kelakai leaf pudding on increasing breast milk production and hemoglobin levels in breastfeeding mothers in the Besiq Health Center UPT working area.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis adalah suatu penyakit menular di dunia termasuk Indonesia bersama kasusnya yang meningkat menjadi 397.377 tahun 2021. Samarinda merupakan kota dengan penderita TB terbanyak di Kalimantan Timur. Puskesmas Karang Asam dan Puskesmas Baqa memiliki data pemeriksaan TCM kontak erat penderita terbanyak. Pemeriksaan TCM terhadap kontak erat diperlukan untuk mencegah penularan tuberkulosis di Samarinda. Tujuannya untuk menganalisis pemeriksaan tuberkulosis TCM pada kontak erat penderita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Karang Asam dan Puskesmas Baqa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif menggunakan desain penelitian retrospektif. Sampel penelitian adalah kontak erat penderita yang melakukan pemeriksaan TCM sebanyak 45 sampel dengan teknik total sampling. Berdasarkan usia sebanyak (86,7%) sampel berusia 15-50 tahun termasuk 2 sampel positif. Jenis kelamin laki-laki (48,9%) 1 sampel positif dan Perempuan (51,1%) 1 sampel positif. Lama kontak 6 bulan (95,6%) semua negatif dan kontak ≥6 bulan (4,4%) 2 sampel positif. Kepadatan hunian cukup (75,6%) didapatkan 1 sampel positif sedangkan kepadatan hunian kurang didapatkan 1 sampel positif. Status gizi sampel normal (60%) dengan 1 sampel positif dan status gizi gemuk (20%) didapatkan 1 sampel positif. Pendidikan (71,1%) pada tingkat SMA-keatas dengan 1 sampel positif dan (28,9%) pada tingkat SMA-kebawah dengan 1 sampel positif. Status pekerjaan sampel yang bekerja (68,9%) 1 sampel positif dan yang tidak bekerja (31,1%) didapatkan 1 sampel positif. Serta resisten rifampisin (0%) sampel negatif. Diperoleh kesimpulan Hasil pemeriksaan Tuberkulosis TCM pada Kontak Erat Penderita terlihat signifikan pada karakteristik usia dan lama kontak.Kata kunci: Kontak Erat, TCM, TB

Abstract

Teknik menyusui merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi ASI, bila teknik menyusui tidak benar dapat menyebabkan puting lecet dan menjadikan ibu enggan menyusui dan bayi jarang menyusui. Puting susu lecet merupakan fenomena yang tidak asing lagi bagi para ibu-ibu menyusui, karena selalu menganggapnya hal wajar apalagi bagi ibu yang baru pertama kali menyusui Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya puting susu lecet, diantaranya disebabkan oleh moniliasis (infeksi yang disebabkan oleh monilia yang disebut candida) pada mulut bayi yang menular pada puting susu, bayi dengan tali lidah pendek (frenulum lingue) sehingga sulit menghisap sampai areola dan hanya sampai putting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan teknik menyusui dengan kejadian puting lecet pada ibu post partum di RSD Dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Desain penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu menyusui yang terdata di poli kandungan, poli anak dan klinik laktasi RSD Dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan besar sampel sebanyak 35 orang. Instrumen menggunakan lembar observasi teknik menyusui dan lembar observasi kejadian puting lecet. Analisis data menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan persentase serta uji Chi-Square. Diperoleh sebagian besar responden memiliki teknik menyusui salah sebanyak 26 orang (68,4%) dan teknik menyusui benar sebanyak 12 orang (31,6%). Diperoleh sebagian besar responden menyatakan ada kejadian puting lecet sebanyak 22 orang (57,9%) dan tidak ada puting lecet sebanyak 16 orang (42,1%). Hasil uji hipotesis variabel teknik menyusui dengan kejadian putting lecet menggunakan chi square didapatkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Ada hubungan teknik menyusui dengan kejadian puting lecet pada ibu post partum di RSD Dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor.

Abstract

Bila bayi bisa menyusu dalam 20-30 menit akan membantu bayi memperoleh ASI pertamanya, membangun ikatan kasih sayang ibu dan bayi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi ASI yang akhirnya proses menyusu berikutnya akan lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Efektifitas Inisiasi Menyusu Dini pada ibu Post SC dengan pengeluaran Colostrum di ruang Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSD Dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Desain penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2022 – Januari 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien Post SC dengan pengeluaran Colostrum di ruang Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSD Dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor, selama November 2022 s/d Januari 2023 sebanyak 36 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Mann-Whitney dengan batas kemaknaan α=0,05. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney pada pengaruh Inisiasi Menyusu Dini pada ibu Post SC dengan pengeluaran Colostrum (0,00<0,05). Ada pengaruh Inisiasi Menyusu Dini pada ibu Post SC dengan pengeluaran Colostrum di Ruang Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor.
