Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of work environment, motivation and leadership partially and simultaneously on employee performance. The population is employees who work for PT. Tirta investama Langkat totaled 173 people and the sampling technique was taken using a random sample, namely the Slovin formula so that the total sample used was 63 respondents. The type of data used in this research is primary data and the data source used is distributing questionnaires to respondents on a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses Smart PLS. The results of this research partially show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, partially motivation has no effect on employee performance, partially leadership has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of this research simultaneously or as a whole show that the work environment, motivation and leadership influence employee performance. In the calculation results, the R Square value is 0.663, this means that 66.3% of variations or changes in employee performance are influenced by the work environment, work motivation and leadership, while the remaining 36.7% is explained by other reasons.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the participation of the community in Kota Pari village in the development of Sri Mersing Beach tourism before and after it was managed by the government. Support and participation of the local community are crucial in tourism development. The government is expected to play a role in encouraging increased community participation. However, in practice, government involvement in management can potentially have both positive and negative impacts on community participation. Through a qualitative descriptive method, this study examines the level of community participation in the development of Sri Mersing Beach tourism, currently managed by the government, using Arnstein's ladder of participation. The results show that the participation of the community in Kota Pari village in the development of Sri Mersing Beach tourism is at the level of tokenism or symbolic participation after Sri Mersing Beach was managed by the government. Therefore, the government's role, which is largely focused on physical development, needs to be accompanied by efforts to increase community participation to ensure its sustainability and continual improvement, thus achieving sustainable tourism.

Abstract

The research was conducted to find out how the direct and indirect influence of Training (X) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province through Motivation (Z). The population in the research was 107 civil servants with the number of samples used as many as 52 civil servants using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This research was conducted in 2022. The data used were primary data taken directly from respondents using a questionnaire. This research used quantitative data that was processed with SPSS 24.0 with path analysis. The results of the path analysis showed that training directly had a positive and significant effect on motivation with the Standardized Coefficients Beta Training value of 0.900 with a significant 0.000. Training directly had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the Standardized Coefficients Beta Training value of 0.931 with a significant value of 0.000. Motivation directly had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a value of Standardized Coefficients Beta Training of 0.942 with a significant value of 0.000. The results of the path analysis also showed that indirectly training did not have a significant effect on employee performance through motivation, which meant that motivation was not able to mediate the effect of training on employee performance. The indirect effect of training on employee performance through motivation was 0.848 which was smaller than the direct effect of training on employee performance of 0.931.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari bagaimana pengaruh dari Pelatihan (X1), Motivasi Kerja (X2) dan Disiplin Kerja (X3) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Cabang Medan. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan tetap PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Cabang Medan yaitu 97 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diolah dengan SPSS versi 26.0 dengan model regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan (X1), Motivasi Kerja (X2) dan Disiplin Kerja (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Cabang Medan baik secara parsial maupun simultan . Koefisien determinasi Adjusted R Square menunjukkan sebesar 81,5% dijelaskan dan diperoleh dari Pelatihan, Motivasi Kerja, dan Disiplin Kerja sedangkan sisanya diperoleh dari faktor lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
