Abstract

Business disciplines, which include production, sales, supply of goods, and services, are the main factors in doing business, especially for customers. If a company creates various things that can be handled and can be seen in a tangible form, then these services do not have a form but can be felt by customers. This should not be underestimated by business people, especially if the company is engaged in the service sector. In a service-providing manufacturing business, quality is one of the various elements that must be considered, if the business has a competitive nature against competitors. Quality is considered crucial because it proves the product being sold, not only by assessing the use or service but also by the suitability between buyers and users in utilizing the goods or services provided and selected. If the products and services offered have quality, the level of consumer desire is increasing, this is called the provision of good service quality. This research is quantitative research using Servqual and QFD methods, this research was conducted by the author at the West Store Medan Shoe Store, to know and analyze the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of service and goods in the West Store Medan store. In this study, the researcher describes each method, the goal is that the validity of the data generated is not in doubt. This study shows that there is still a lack of service at the West Store Medan Shoe Store, including the lack of responsiveness of store employees in responding to buyers, being less responsible when serving, parking and cleanliness are still lacking, to the lack of complete facilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the causes of the decline in the quality of fried chicken and how to improve the quality of fried chicken at Fried Chicken Hisana using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The method used in this research is the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The research instrument is a questionnaire distributed to Hisana Fried Chicken consumers. From the results of research based on the QFD method on the HOQ matrix, it is known that the highest value of the temperature parameter in the House of Quality (HOQ) frying process is 124.92 (50.85%). This is because the correlation matrix between the important attributes and the technical parameter attributes influences many attributes such as the level of doneness of the fried chicken, the texture of the creaminess and the aroma of the fried chicken. These results will affect the final quality of the fried chicken. Where the attribute improvement ratio value in this condition, the maturity level has a value of (0.75), which is a high improvement value among other attributes. This shows that these two attributes must be improved and paid attention to by Hisana Fried Chicken. Quality improvement that can be done is by improving the quality of the chicken maturity level attribute by paying attention to the temperature during the frying process.

Abstract

Kursi roda (wheel chair) adalah alat yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mobilitas bagi orang yang memiliki kekurangan seperti orang yang cacat fisik (khususnya penyandang cacat kaki). Kursi roda yang digunakan pasien disabilitas saat ini tidak ergonomis karena pasien tidak nyaman menggunakannya bahkan masih menyebabkan keluhan sakit bagian tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan kursi roda yang sesuai pasien disabilitas terutama untuk aktivitas kamar mandi. Metode yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode EFD, digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi teknis produk berdasarkan persyaratan pengguna dengan menambahkan hubungan baru antara keinginan konsumen dan aspek ergonomi dari produk. Hasil penelitian didapat variabel rancangan kursi roda ergonomis yakni variabel efektif, nyaman, aman, sehat, dan efisien (ENASE), berdasarkan kebutuhan konsumen maka ditambah fasilitas pendukung di kursi roda seperti tempat sabun, tempat tisue, pispot (penampung kotoran), gorden penutup, tabung air (tempat air pembilas) dan bag barang/documen.

Abstract

Penelitian di Puskesmas Tanjung Morawa melihat seberapa puas pasien terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang diterimanya, dan ditemukan masih adanya keluhan terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap minat atau kepuasan pasien yang dapat memanfaatkan teknik Catatan Loyalitas Konsumen (CSI) dan strategi Penambahan Nilai Klien yang Diharapkan (PGCV). berdasarkan temuan penelitian berbasis metode terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasienCustomer Satisfaction Index (CSI) secara menyeluruh didapatkan nilai sebesar 73% Artinya sebagian besar pasien merasa puas dengan hasil pelayanan yang telah dberikan. Namun puskesmas perlu melakukan perbaikan kinerja pelayanan dengan mengetahui atribut yang menjadi prioritas, Adapun hasil peringkat prioritas perbaikan menggunakan metode Potential Gain in Customer Value’s (PGCV) antara lain adalah Fasilitas tempat parkir yang cukup, Dokter melayani dengan sikap meyakinkan sehingga pasien merasa aman, Tenaga medis bersedia menanggapi keluhan pasien, Dokter memberikan waktu pelayanan yang cukup pada pasien, Tenaga medis menyediakan obat-obatan atau alat medis yang lengkap.

Abstract

Emicraft adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bagian industri rumahan. Masalah yang terjadi di industri rumahan Emicraft tentang kecelakaan kerja. Semenjak perusahaan ini berdiri ada beberapa kasus kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi seperti luka tangan pada saat memotong kayu dengan mesin, tangan tertusuk mata bor saat melubangi kayu, debu masuk hidung dan mata, dan tersandung material. Jadi dari permasalahan diatas tentu sangat memungkinkan akan timbulnya resiko tinggi kecelakaan kerja yang dapat mendatangkan kerugian dan menghambat produktivitas industri. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini menggunakan metode Job Safety Analysis (JSA) dan Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) yang digunakan sebagai analisa dari kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi di industri rumahan Emicraft tersebut. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 15 bahaya yang level resikonya sedang, 1 yang level resikonya tinggi dan 1 yang levelresikonya ekstrim.

Abstract

The concept of All-Gender Facilities has caused controversy in many countries, especially regarding the experience of users who feel uncomfortable with the presence of other genders in private spaces such as toilets and changing rooms. This study aims to explore the acceptance of the community in the Greater Jakarta area towards the All Gender Facility, especially in the use of toilets and changing rooms. A qualitative approach with a case study method is used to understand and analyze the response of society influenced by social and cultural norms. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with eight purposively selected informants. The results of the study show that awareness and first experience in using the All Gender Facility are influenced by the level of social media exposure and personal experience when using it. Security and hygiene factors, including space design and management, are the main elements that affect user privacy and comfort. Consideration of cultural norms in the implementation of the All Gender Facility has a very important role in community acceptance. The multicultural community of Greater Jakarta shows resistance to this concept due to cultural and religious considerations. However, in terms of functionality, this concept is acceptable on the condition of a design that pays attention to user privacy and security.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing the quality of drinking water services at PDAM Tirtanadi Sunggal Branch, using Zeithaml and Bitner’s framework with indicators of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibility as the measurement standards. A qualitative approach was applied, utilizing questionnaires, observations, and documentation to gather data. The findings reveal that the water service operations are adequate but not yet optimal. Several quality indicators expected to serve as benchmarks were not fully implemented, resulting in services that remain less productive. Supporting factors include the availability of adequate infrastructure and the commitment of employees to serve customers, while inhibiting factors involve limited resources, inconsistent service delivery, and insufficient responsiveness to customer complaints. Overall, the study concludes that while PDAM Tirtanadi Sunggal Branch demonstrates potential to improve its performance, systematic efforts are required to optimize all quality indicators to achieve a higher standard of service.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize biodiesel production from waste cooking oil using ultrasonic technology combined with Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The investigated variables include the methanol-to-oil molar ratio (6–12), alkaline catalyst concentration (1–3 wt%), and ultrasonic reaction time (480–1440 s). Based on 17 experimental runs, a two-factor interaction (2FI) linear regression model was developed. ANOVA results indicate that all variables significantly affect biodiesel yield (p < 0.05), with catalyst concentration as the most influential factor. The model demonstrates high predictive accuracy (R² = 0.937; adjusted R² = 0.900; MAE = 2.24%; RMSE = 2.84%). Optimization results indicate optimal conditions at a methanol-to-oil ratio of 10.96, a catalyst concentration of 1.03 wt%, and a reaction time of 1414.79 s, yielding 96.84% FAME. Ultrasonic technology effectively enhances mixing and accelerates reactions via cavitation. This study provides practical operational guidance to improve the efficiency of sustainable biodiesel production and support carbon emission reduction.
