Abstract

This research originated from the quality of the wifi.id internet network in the area of Air Tawar which is varied and more suitable for locations that are farther away than the access points. This study aims to find the quality of the wifi.id internet network in the Air Tawar area, and to obtain the results of delay, packet loss, and throughput generated in measuring the quality of the wifi.id network and compare it with the TIPHON standard. This research is a descriptive research. The population of this study is the wifi.id access point in the Air Tawar  area with a research sample of three wifi.id access point locations on Air Tawar. This research was conducted by measuring the quality of wifi.id using the axence nettols 5 application for 10 days in the morning, afternoon and evening. From  the results of the research after analysis obtained: (1) The best delay measurement is on Jl. Gajah TP 1 with a value of 8.5 ms and the worst on Jl. Parkit TP 4 with a value of 64.8 ms. (2) The best packet loss measurement is on Jl. Gajah TP 1 with a value of 0.1% and the worst on Jl. Parkit TP 4 with a value of 25.2%. (3) The best throughput measurements can be found at Jl. Gajah TP 1 with a value of 93.04% and the worst on Jl. Parkit TP 4 with a value of 45.21%. Keywords: Delay, Packet loss, Throughput, TIPHON, Axence Nettols 5

Abstract

Analysis of network performance is needed in the ITL building which is a new building in the Padang State University area. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the 4G LTE network in the ITL by using the G-Net Track Pro application.  This research is a descriptive research that analyzes the results of the drive test based on RSRP, RSRO & SNR parameters. Data analysis results show: (1) The average RSRP value is -86.65 dBm (Good), the RSRQ average value is -12.70 dB (Medium) and the average SNR value is 2.73 dB (Medium) (2) The best parameter value of RSRP Floor 4 is point B -78.3 B), RSRQ (Floor 3 point B is -11.85 dB) and  SNR (Floor 4 point B is 5.14 dB) (3) from all data, the percentage of categories around 6% Excellent, 17% Good, 56% Medium, 18% Poor and 3% of data in the 3G network category are obtained.  The data suggests that the performance in this building is  quite well, but it is not maximal and the signal strength received is not evenly distributed . network quality improvement is needed in order to improve performance for maximum & even signal strength throughout the building.  Keywords: LTE, Drive Test, RSRP, RSRQ, SNR

Abstract

Mobilephone is not only use as a device to send message or make a phonecall. manything that a smartphone can do, for example it can be use to look for some places or location such as courses. Padang, has some of courses for students. A large number of these courses are certainly not prospective for  students who want to know. Based on this case, a solution that could fix this problem is by using digital mapping to help spreading the information about courses point place in Padang, with some fitures like news, or details about each of courses. Based on the case , this application is made to help spreading the information about courses point place in Padang, with some fitures like news, or details about each of courses. Based on the tittle this project has a client-server services, with a concept design using an UML. For implementation, this application is using PHP Programming language, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript as editor and SDK Android Plugin, So it can be running in Eclipse Android Environment for helping user in using of it. Abstract

This study aims to design and create a media application for learning the Quran that can be used on Android smartphones by reading and listening to the reading of letters according to their meaning and can immediately be practiced using voice speech. The system development method used is the waterfall method. This application is built on the Android platform and implements voice recognition. Voice recognition algorithm used is devide and conquer to convert sound into discrete form so that synchronization of speech recognition time occurs. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan e-modul penerapan sistem radio dan televisi, menentukan tingkat validitas dari yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada pengembangan e-modul ini adalah Research and Development ( R&D) dengan menerapkan model Plomp. Model Plomp terdiri dari tiga tahap, 1) Penelitian awal (pleminary research), 2) Tahap membuat prototipe (prototype phase) , 3) Tahap asesmen (assesment phase). Instrumen validitas dianalisis dengan rumus Cohen Kappa (k). sebesar 0,77 dari nilai maksimal 1, nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori valid. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa validitas ahli media sebesar 0,85 dari nilai maksimal 1, nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori valid.Kata kunci :E-Modul, Penerapan sistem radio dan televisi, Plomp, Google Classroom. The purpose of this study is to produce an e-module for the application of radio and television systems, to determine the level of validity of the resulting ones. The research method used in the development of this e-module is Research and Development (R&D) by applying the Plomp model. The Plomp model consists of three stages, 1) pleminary research, 2) prototype phase, 3) the assessment phase. Instrument validity was analyzed by the Cohen Kappa formula (k). of 0.77 from a maximum value of 1, this value is included in the valid category. The results of this study state that the validity of media experts is 0.85 from a maximum value of 1, this value is included in the valid category.Keywords: E-Module, Application of radio and television systems, Plomp, Google Classroom.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes in subjects apply the basics of electronics class X Audio Video Engineering Department (TAV) Vocational School (SMK) Bukittinggi School 1, an experimental study using two class is a class that acts as a control and experiment. This study aimed to see whether there is influence learning outcomes after implementing the learning model of Active Learning type Dynamic true or False. The problem in this study is the fact that the field is found in SMKN 1 Bukittinggi, there are many students of class X Audio Video Engineering who scored below the standart of learning outcome minimum completeness criteria in subjects applying the basic fundamentals of electronics set a school that is 75.The population of this research is class X TAV SMKN 1 Bukittinggi TA 2013/2014. The data collected from the test results of a study about the essay as many as 20 items. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to test normality, test homogenity, and test hypothesis. Normality test all values obtained χ2count is smaller than the value χ2 table. Homogenitas test obtained χ2 count< χ2table , atau -1,03 < 14,067. Hypothesis test tcount> ttable yaitu (5,613 >1.697). From the test results of research obtained an average value of student which uses the learning model of Active Learning Type Dynamic true or False is 79,53 while the control group of student who use learning directly lower the 60,78. The results of the hypothesis by using Microsoft Excel in t count found that -1,03 <  t table 14,067, so the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted or rejected the null hypothesis (H0). This means that on average significantly experimental class learning outcomes greater than the average of the control class learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the application of Dynamic True or False effect on learning outcomes.Keywords : Active Learning, Dynamic True or False

Abstract

SMK Payakumbuh graduates who work in accordance with their fields of expertise are still very few when compared with the number of graduates who have produced. Some of the causes, among others: lack of knowledge gained by students of masih, lack of supporting tools for practicum, minimal number of productive teachers, and others. In addition to the school side, this can also be influenced by external factors. Like the growth of employment that is not proportional to the number of graduates produced. This causes competition to get jobs in accordance with the field of expertise of students increasingly stringent. To help overcome this problem, the service team provides skills training and mentoring programs to enhance the creativity and innovation of students who will graduate in producing creative products based on the technical skills possessed by SMKN 2 Payakumbuh students. The methods used during the training activities are lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, guidance. From the activities that have been carried out, students entrepreneurial creativity is better and students know the technical skills that can be developed and have a value.

Abstract

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk mencapai tempat bencana dengan cepat dirancang menggunakan rancangan sistem Antenna tracker pada ground station UAV. Antenna tracker merupakan salah satu bagian dari Ground Control Station (GCS) yang memiliki fungsi melacak keberadaan sebuah benda bergerak. Perancangan ini menggunakan tahap define dan design pada model 4D baik perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak. Nilai parameter antena biquad yang dihasilkan dari simulasi lebih baik dibandingkan hasil pengukuran. Antena telemetri dan antena remote transmitter biquad yang dibuat memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan antena omnidirectional bawaan. Antena tracker yang dibuat telah dapat mengikuti arah terbang UAV. Implementasi antena biquad pada sistem antena tracker mendapat jarak uji terjauh yaitu sejauh 4,6 KM.Kata Kunci: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Sistem, Antenna tracker, Bencana The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) which is used as a tool to reach the disaster area quickly is designed using the Antenna tracker system design at the UAV ground station. Antenna tracker is one part of the Ground Control Station (GCS) which has the function of tracking the whereabouts of a moving object. This design uses the define and design stages on the 4D model both hardware and software. Biquad antenna parameter values generated from the simulation are better than the measurement results. The telemetry antenna and biquad remote transmitter antenna are of better quality than the built-in omnidirectional antenna. The tracker antenna that has been made has been able to follow the direction of the UAV's flight. The implementation of the biquad antenna on the tracker antenna system gets the farthest test distance, which is 4.6 KM.Keywords: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, System, Antenna tracker, Disaster

Abstract

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) dengan sistem Tiltrotor sangat efektif digunakan di daerah terdampak bencana, hal ini dikarenakan pada daerah terdampak bencana akan sulit untuk ditemukan sebuah landasan pacu yang digunakan oleh UAV untuk take off dan landing. Perancangan ini menggunakan tahap define dan design pada model 4D baik perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak. Penggunaan UAV bersayap yang dapat melakukan take off secara vertikal akan sangat membantu dalam proses memantau kondisi pasca bencana. Penggunaan sistem tiltrotor pada UAV dapat diterapkan sebagai pilihan untuk pembuatan sebuah UAV. Berdasarkan data yang disajikan dalam penelitian bahwa adanya sayap pada mode tricopter tidak mengganggu kestabilan UAV dalam melakukan hovering, sehingga bisa dikombinasikan UAV tricopter dengan UAV bersayap. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa UAV mampu terbang dengan kecepatan 18 M/s atau 64 KM/h, oleh karena itu UAV hanya membutuhkan waktu sekitar 18 menit 45 detik untuk mencapai jarak 20 KM. Estimasi lama terbang UAV adalah sekitar 20 menit dengan sisa kapasitas baterai digunakan untuk melakukan pendaratan sehingga diperkirakan UAV mampu melakukan penerbangan sejauh 20 KM.Kata Kunci:  Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Sistem, Tiltrotor, Bencana Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with a Tiltrotor system are very effective in use in disaster-affected areas, this is because in disaster-affected areas it will be difficult to find a runway used by UAVs for take off and landing. This design uses the define and design stages on 4D models both hardware and software. The use of winged UAVs that can take off vertically will be very helpful in the process of monitoring post-disaster conditions. The use of a tiltrotor system on a UAV can be applied as an option for the manufacture of a UAV. Based on the data presented in the study, the presence of wings in tricopter mode does not interfere with the stability of the UAV in hovering, so it can be combined with a tricopter UAV with a winged UAV. Based on the research, it is known that the UAV is capable of flying at a speed of 18 M/s or 64 KM/h, therefore the UAV only takes about 18 minutes 45 seconds to reach a distance of 20 KM.  The estimated flight time of the UAV is about 20 minutes with the remaining battery capacity being used to make a landing, so it is estimated that the UAV is capable of flying as far as 20 KM.Keywords: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), System, Tiltrotor, Disaster

Abstract

The goal of this study was to evaluate articles by measuring the value effect size of the impact of e-learning learning media on student learning outcomes. Meta-analysis is the research methodology used in this case. Twenty journal papers will be analyzed for this study depending on the types of students who attend vocational high schools and universities. Based on topics that score 1.81 for SMK student subjects and 1.13 for student subjects who are in the very high category, the study's findings are an examination of the average amount of effect on the usage of e-learning media on student learning outcomes. The average effect size is extremely high in the gnognome-based learning model, according to learning model, with a value of 2.43, which is in the very high category. Based on the findings of the analysis, it can be concluded that the usage of e-learning resources significantly affects students' learning outcomes, both for SMK students and for university students.
