Abstract

Approximately 52.9 million children under 5 globally have developmental disorders. Early detection is crucial for addressing these issues. This study aimed to assess the impact of a detection and stimulation education package on parental knowledge and attitudes. Using a pseudo-experimental, cross-sectional design with cluster random sampling, 78 respondents were analyzed via T-test. Results revealed significant improvement in mothers' knowledge and attitudes following the education package (p=0.001). Providing such packages enhances awareness and understanding of toddler development. Health professionals, particularly midwives, are advised to collaborate in early detection and stimulation programs, ensuring comprehensive education for parents. This collaborative effort can significantly contribute to addressing developmental challenges in young children.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to empower the "Tani Maju" Farmer Group by improving their product visualization through Canva-based logo and packaging design training, addressing their limited design skills that hinder market competitiveness. Method: A participatory action research (PAR) approach guided four interactive sessions. Data were collected via pre- and post-training questionnaires (5-point Likert scale) and analysis of design outputs, with paired t-tests and thematic analysis applied. Practical Applications: Findings show that accessible digital tools like Canva enhance branding for agricultural MSMEs, enabling cost-effective, professional packaging design, improving marketability and sales potential.  Conclusion: Training significantly boosted participants’ design knowledge, skills (up to 122.22%), and confidence (up to 153.33%). The study demonstrates how digital literacy empowers rural communities, strengthens local economies, and bridges the gap between traditional farming and modern marketing.

Abstract

Physical exercise can significantly reduce weight and insulin sensitivity; hence, it can reduce blood glucose levels and improve blood glucose control. The main objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of active stretching exercise to increase the function of insulin on Diabetes Mellitus Type 2(DMT2) at Pekalongan Regency. The design of this study was a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with one-group pretest-posttest design. 20 respondents were chosen by using total sampling technique on  August 3 - October 27, 2018. The data collection tools were a questionnaire, GlucoDrTM, and Autocheck®. The Shapiro-Wilk test was implemented as a normality test.To determine the effect of the treatment, a paireddependent T-Test was used. This study found out that there was no significant difference of the work of insulin, before and after the respondents did the active exercise, with a value of ρ 0.315. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that further research applies active stretching exercise combined with 7 self-management of diabetes.
