Abstract

The presence of supervision at a school is an indispensable activity. One such supervision technique is a class visit. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of supervision in the School with class visit techniques and their impact on the level of professionalism of teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach to the study of phenomology in SMP At-Tibyan. The main data sources are the Principal and Teacher. This study also uses a sampling procedure with research subjects of 5 teachers with different tenure at the school. The data collection technique is observation and is supported by interview techniques as a source of supporting data. Data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman include condensation of data, presentation of data, drawing conclusions. The results obtained are 1) the implementation of supervision of classroom visits has increased in terms of technical implementation, 2) the level of professionalism of At-Tibyan Middle School teachers is still low, 60% includes Professional teachers, 20% includes quite professional teachers, and 20% of teachers are not professional. The development of teacher professionalism needs to be done immediately and the role of the school principal can effectively support the development of the teacher's professionalism. As a controlling stage for the business, academic supervision can be carried out with classroom visits techniques that continue to improve the quality of implementation. Through supervision of class visits can be seen developments in the level of professionalism of teachers.

Abstract

Islamic religious education is one of the most important subject matter that must be obtained by every student in school, but in fact the implementation of Islamic religious education in Indonesia still gets a lot of criticism from various parties, these criticisms regarding the curriculum, learning methods and also to teachers Islamic religious education itself, on the other hand there is one non-formal institution called madrasa diniyah that specifically provides Islamic religious education to the community, this institution can also be integrated with various formal institutions under the umbrella of the education service. if the existence of madrasa diniyah can be utilized to the maximum, it is not impossible that various problems in Islamic religious education can be overcome. The purpose of this research is to examine the pilot school that integrates madrasa diniyah into basic educational institutions as an effort to strengthen the Islamic religious curriculum, namely SD Khazanah Ilmu. This research includes qualitative research, data collection is done by collecting documents, conducting interviews, and also observing at the research site, while the data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study state that the form of implementing madrasah diniyah as a curriculum for Islamic religious education curriculum in the elementary school of science is through several efforts, namely the formulation of the main objectives, the formulation of teaching materials, the system of teaching recruitment based on religious competence, the development of learning methods and techniques, and finally is to carry out routine evaluation programs both daily, weekly, monthly to yearly. All of these efforts are based on one main goal, namely the strengthening of Islamic religious education curriculum in SD Khazanah Ilmu.

Abstract

Total quality Management (TQM) is a form of organization management approach that emphasizes quality, with the aim of achieving success in the long run, as well as providing satisfaction to its customers. This paper aims to provide an illustration that the management of an educational institution requires the concept of integrated quality management in an effort to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals maximally. Because in this quality management there is a mature, measurable and realistic planning concept in accordance with the available resources. Educational institutions as institutions whose outside targets are in the form of increased human resources with complex aspects, namely intellectual, emotional and spiritual. Clearly it really needs the concept of Total Quality Management in an effort to produce graduation in accordance with the vision and mission of national education objectives. This study is a library research, so that the main data sources are books, journals and other reading sources. Its conclusion is that educational institutions as institutions that create human resources. It is said to be successful if implementing the concept of Total Quality Management with the main objective on customer satisfaction, namely students, parents, community, nation and country. As for the main movers are the principal with all other personnels in that institution the education.

Abstract

The entry of Islamic education in Indonesia, it is very appropriate to trace the entry of Islam in Indonesia, because education in Indonesia has the same historical journey with the history of the entry of Islam in Indonesia. Education in the Dutch East Indies era had a mission towards the ability to master the Dutch language in order to facilitate communication between pribumi (Indonesian people) and the Dutch. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, descriptive is used to be able to understand and provide a detailed description of the problems in the focus of research, using data analysis techniques in the form of library research (library research). This research results that traditional Islamic education with modern Islamic education systems through the process of integrating the two fields of science both philosophically, curriculum, methodology, management, even to the department.

Abstract

Inclusive schools are places for education for children with special needs who have the same rights as normal children. and learning in inclusive schools is one class without any difference. The purpose of this study was to determine peer assistance in managing students with special needs. The subjects of this study were 23 students at Sawocangkring Elementary School. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method with an interactive approach. The results of this study are peers have a very important function in the development of attitudes, skills, socializing and peers can be used as peer tutors for children with special needs in explaining the material and accompany during breaks and other activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in creating an effective school at SMA Al Fattah Buduran Sidoarjo. The method used to determine the informant is purposive aside. In this qualitative research data collection, the authors use the interview, documentation and observation methods. From the results of this study, it was concluded that the Principal played a role in creating an effective school at Al Fattah Buduran Sidoarjo High School. Effective schools are schools that have good management standards, are transparent, are responsive, and accountable, and are able to empower every important component of the school. This is proven by Al Fattah High School continuing to experience an increase in the number of students, facilities and infrastructure, as well as their achievements.

Abstract

Quality education is always desired by the community, the quality of education in Indonesia is characterized by the achievement of the National Education Standards (SNP) or exceeding the SNP. One factor that determines the quality of education is the implementation of quality learning as well, quality learning is only produced by qualified teachers. The competency standards that must be possessed by teachers are pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies. Teacher competency improvement needs to be improved along with the rapid development of science and technology, so that through quality learning can prepare graduates who are ready to face life in their day. To prepare qualified teachers cannot be separated from the principal's role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. In Permendikbud 15 of 2018 the Principal's Workload is entirely to carry out tasks: managerial, entrepreneurship development and supervision to Teachers and education staff. One of the principal tasks of the principal is to supervise teachers in order to prepare quality learning. This study wants to discuss the Principal's Strategic Role in Improving Learning Quality through Academic Supervision Activities.

Abstract

This study discusses the organization of farmers to make a farm school about pests. The purpose of this organization is to solve the embug pest problem in the village of Duren, Tugu District, Trenggalek Regency. There are various factors causing unresolved embug pest problems in Desa Duren due to a lack of knowledge and lack of farmer education in eradicating embug pests in his village. This assistance research approach is carried out using the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, which focuses on involving the community as a full research subject. The steps in the PAR method are conducting initial mapping, building humanitarian relationships, setting research agendas for social change, participatory mapping, determining humanitarian issues, devising movement strategies, organizing communities, launching change actions, building learning centers or community schools, reflection and expand the scale of the movement and support. The strategy used to provide knowledge to farmers on how to eradicate embug pests is divided into 3 stages, namely conducting joint problem analysis then designing participatory scara programs and then designing farmer schools as a forum for farmer education in order to provide farmers with knowledge about eradicating ha and ma embug. Farmer school is one form of critical education offered by Paulo Freire. Education is built on the basis of human critical awareness in understanding social reality. Critical awareness is an awareness that understands social problems due to oppressive relationships, systems and social structures. The Peasant School is proof of the success of the concept of critical education.

Abstract

This study is to determine whether the application of fingerprint attendance can be used as a tool to control performance discipline. This study uses a qualitative description method with the interview method, data collection in the form of documents. Data validation with triangulation techniques. The results of data analysis show that the fingerprint system simplifies the presence process so that the fingerprint system can be used as a disciplinary control tool because all attendance data can be stored.
