Abstract

The success of Islamic boarding schools in producing quality graduates, one of which is related to the quality standards set. One of the quality indicators is the ownership of the Islamic Boarding School's Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) document. The purpose of this community service is to socialize the importance of SPMI for the An-nur Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school, Sidoarjo. This school is relatively new, but has a vision of becoming a quality Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, the stakeholders, both mudir, asatidz-asatidzah council, and their education staff do not yet have an understanding of the importance of SPMI for institutions, and do not yet have an SPMI. The service method used is to provide assistance and training in the preparation of the SPMI instrument which consists of 8 criteria. As a result, all stakeholders of An-Nur Islamic boarding school understand the importance of SPMI and the formation of the SPMI organization. In addition, partners are able to develop SPMI instruments independently and can implement them in order to achieve the expected quality of Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

This article aims to critically analyze Adonis’ thoughts on modernity and his reading of the Arab-Islamic historical movement. This is qualitative research with a library research approach. The methods used include descriptive analysis to analyze and explain Adonis’ thoughts, internal coherence to find continuity between the concept of modernity and his reading of Arab and Islamic history, and criticism to study objects, analyze them, look for weaknesses, and comment on them. The author concludes that there are logical problems in Adonis’ thinking about modernity, which then this concept becomes his perspective in reading Islamic history. Adonis’ concept of modernity requires humans to be free, free from their ideology and religion, even though no human being is capable of being separated from the ideology and beliefs they hold. This concept of modernity influences Adonis’ methodology in reading Arab-Islamic historical movements with the assumptions of at-thabit or fixed and al-mutahawil or changing. His premise is very problematic because he considers all thoughts derived from the Qur’an and Hadith as static and decline, while those that contradict the Qur’an and Hadith are referred to as symbols of modernity and progress. Adonis is unable to explain which parts of Islamic teachings or beliefs must change and which must remain, so that all thoughts, both initiated by groups and individuals that contradict the text, are called modern and progressive, while those that correspond to the text are called static and decline. This shows that Adonis does not understand Islamic teachings and their historical fact; in fact, the progress of Islam in the past occurred because Muslims united and adhered to their religion.Keywords: Adonis; Modernity; Islamic History

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept of private school Branding in the face of the zoning system that has been set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). This is because after the zoning system has been established, private schools located in the city center must compete explicitly with public schools to get new students. This type of research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Researchers will be directly involved and collect data by means of observation, interviews, and documentation In SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. After that, an analysis was carried out with three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study show that private schools in the city center must struggle to get new students by developing strategies to attract the attention of students, while the Branding strategy includes brand identity, brand personality, brand positioning, and brand communication. After this strategy, especially macimizing social media promotion, the private school can compete with other private schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe learning activities in this digital era that must utilize internet media with various platforms including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning because PAI is a compulsory subject for all types and levels of education. PAI teachers are required to have the ability to modify their learning, so that PAI material will be interesting and liked by students. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of YouTube media in PAI learning. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis. The results of this study state that PAI teachers at Kartini Junior High School use YouTube a lot in their learning activities, especially when learning themes of worship that require practice, such as the theme of Hajj or Umrah, obligatory prayers, eclipse prayers, funeral prayers, and other worship services. From the measurement of students' attitudes, the results provide a lot of information and knowledge for students in PAI learning. YouTube media is not only a means of entertainment, attracting attention, and developing knowledge, but more than that it is able to provide clearer and broader information and knowledge on the topics studied. And the results of the assessment aspects in the use of YouTube media are cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. Thus, from these assessment aspects, students have excellent thinking and reasoning skills after learning PAI material with the help of YouTube media with a score of 8.

Abstract

Educational tourism is essential to the international tourism market, including in Indonesia. The educational tourism destinations are generally only in the regional tourism sector, cultural and natural tourism. However, the sector into tertiary institutions based on pesantren still needs to be significantly more attractive. With the existence of educational tours, it becomes a bridge between students and the general public in knowing universities-based pesantren. This includes supporting the government in developing educational tours to higher education institutions based on pesantren. This research is focused on university-based pesantren at the University of Darussalam Gontor, which implements pondok pesantren in building students with akhlaq and character. The quantitative approach is one of the approach techniques for hypotheses and data analysis relevant to the topic of writing based on the field. Therefore, sampling using simple random sampling and data collection using a student psychology scale as a simple regression model data analysis technique. The results of this study are the distribution of the percentage of educational tourism to university-based pesantren, which still needs to be developed. It is improving the information on university-based pesantren with activities that support students towards students with akhlaq and character following the education base of pondok pesantren and access to adequate information for easy access to information from the University of Darussalam Gontor with University-based pondok pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning management of Al-Islam education at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya by focusing on 4 sub-topics of discussion which include planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques of analysis and interpretation of data in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data sources in this study include primary data sources where the data is obtained from informants when making observations at the research location. While secondary data sources are obtained from articles, theses, and journals that support primary data sources. The results of this study indicate that the learning management of Al-Islam education at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya has been carried out following the learning mechanism and is conducted properly based on the learning objectives that have been set. To achieve all aspects Of learning management al Islam education is very dependent on the commitment and capability of educators towards education management itself.

Abstract

Management is the process of utilizing all the resources owned by the organization to achieve the goals that have been set. management in a broad sense is planning, organizing, directing, and controlling organizational resources to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. The objectives of this study are to describe the problems of teacher human resource management at private madrasah aliyah in Sampang regency. This study uses a qualitative approach, which aims to explain the problem of human resource management for private Madrasah aliyah teachers, a qualitative approach is considered a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words from observations, interviews and documentation. Data collection techniques by reviewing documents, interviews, and observations. It is analyzed through the following stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the problem with teacher human resources is that the number of teachers who teach is not in accordance with their academic qualifications because the management function of teacher human resources in madrasah aliyah does not run optimally starting from planning, management, procurement, procurement, development, assessment, control, compensation and dismissal. and the causes of the problem of teacher human resources are divided into two factors, namely internal factors, the character of teachers, lack of teacher innovation, lack of motivation and indifference to various changes, limited funds available while external causes such as Madrasah environmental conditions and conditions of socio-cultural development of the community, lack of continuous support from organization in teacher HR Management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the 2 year Semester Credit System (SKS) Program at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Surabaya. This research method is using qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research uses a type of field research (field research) using data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the 2 year SKS (SKS) Program can be said to be effective, this is evidenced by the service of educators, student academic competence and adequate facilities and infrastructure. In the implementation of Fiqh learning in the 2-year credit program, it has been effective. The lesson plans are described in a learning component that has been prepared by the respective subject teachers. The descriptions are in the form of promissory notes, prota, SK, KD, RPP. Evaluation in the SKS program is by providing intense services to students who have scores below the average while the evaluation in the field of Jurisprudence is carried out in the middle of the semester, namely the Mid-Semester Examination (UTS) and the Final Semester Examination (UAS) using both written and written test techniques. oral test and hands-on practice. For assessment in the field of Jurisprudence, the teacher takes cognitive, affective and psychomotor assessments.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah is a non-formal educational institution that uses a curriculum that can be developed by the institution itself in accordance with the characteristics of each. The purpose of this studyonly focus on the process, implementation, barriers to curriculum development at Madrasah Diniyah Salafiyah Mamba'us Sa'adah, the type of research using RND (Research and Development), data collection techniques using interview, observation, documentation and library studies. The data analysis technique uses a rocket scale. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Madrasah Diniyah Salafiyah Mamba'us Sa'adah has undergone curriculum development from year to year starting from the objectives, content, methods and learning strategies. Supporting the development of the Madrasah Diniyah Salafiyah Mamba'us Sa'adah curriculum is the existence of Ustad/zah, Santri, complete facilities and support from parents, the community. The obstacles include student discipline, government funds, and inadequate building infrastructure.

Abstract                                             Wahdatul Wujud philosophy is said to have implications for Jabariyah understanding which resulted in the negation of the syari'at. This is because Wahdatul Wujud is understood to be the same as Pantheism. So this research aims to know the implications of Ibn 'Arabi's thought, known as Wahdatul Wujud, on Af'alul' Ibad discourse. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a literature study approach, the researcher will conduct a study of Ibn 'Arabi's works and some related literature. The conclusion of this study, when viewed from the concept of Wahdatul Wujud as believed by Ibn Arabi and his followers, shows that Ibn Arabi believes in the theory of kasb as believed by Imam Al-Ash'ari, that humans have a will to produce actions. However, the human will does not affect the actions. Because only Allah has the power to perform actions. This is consistent with the philosophy of Wahdatul Wujud, that there is no Being except Allah, meaning that there is no action in this world except the act of Allah. Human will and effort belong to man, but only Allah can make it happen. Based on this explanation, it can be concluded that Wahdatul Wujud does not affirm the Jabariyyah concept, which can result in the negation of the Shari'ah. Keywords: Ibn ‘Arabi, Wahdatul Wujud, human action, Allah knowledge.
