Abstract

Abtract.On the ethnic communities of Muna at Southeast Sulawesi be known their Wuna kabhanti arts performance. Kabhanti arts performance was not only an expression of the culture, but at the same time were aneducationalan media, communication and entertainment. In the field of education, perfomances of kabhanti contributed in the establishment and embedded of noble character. It communicative language make kabhanti’s performance arts could be used as a medium of communication, especially as a medium for conveying messages morals, ethics, education, and development. Therefore, on the verge of extinction, continuity and conservation of arts performance of kabhanti needs to be continuously conducted as one of the local culture and local wisdom of ethnic communities of Muna ar Southeast Sulawesi.Key Word: Kabhanti Wuna, Medium of Communication, Traditional,Globalization Abtrak.Dalam masyarakat etnis Muna di Sulawesi Tenggara dikenal adanya seni pertunjukan kabhanti Wuna.Seni pertujukan kabhanti tidak hanya merupakan suatu ekspresi kebudayaan, tetapi sekaligus media pendidikan, komunikasi, dan hiburan.Dalam bidang pendidkan, pertunjukan kabhanti membantu dalam pembentukan dan penanaman watak yang luhur.Bahasanya yang komunikatif menjadikan seni pertunjukan kabhanti dapat dipakai sebagai sarana komunikasi, khususnya sebagai media penyampaian pesan-pesan moral, etika, pendidikan, dan pembangunan.Oleh karena itu, di ambang kepunahannya, pemertahanan dan pelestarian seni pertunjukan kabhanti ini perlu dilakukan teus-menerus sebagai salah satu budaya lokal nusantara dan kearifan lokal etnis Muna di Sulawesi Tenggara.Kata kunci: Kabhanti Wuna, Media Komunikasi, Tradiosonal, Globalisasi

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe  at the text of the katoba tradition as a medium for Islamic propaganda in the Muna community. The tradition of katoba as a traditional communication medium that is believed to be effective in conveying Islamic values to the child being tested. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of Islamic da'wah messages in the katoba tradition to the Muna community. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. Based on the results and language, it appears that one of the katoba traditions in the Muna community is one of which functions as an Islamic transmission messages of Islamic da’wah. The messages of Islamic da'wah in the katoba tradition are packaged in ritual language related to fundamental values in Islam, namely the creed, prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and zakat. Keywords: Da'wah Message, Katoba Tradition, Muna Community. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mendeksripsikan bentuk-bentuk pesan dakwah Islam dalam komunikasi tradisional katoba pada masyarakat Muna. Tradisi katoba sebagai media komunikasi tradisional yang diyakini efektif  dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah Islam pada anak yang di-katoba berdasarkan agama yang diyakininya orang tua seorang anak. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Berdasakan hasil dan pembahasan tampak bahwa komunikasi tradisional katoba pada masyarakat Muna salah satunya berfungsi sebagai transmisi pesan dakwah Islam. Pesan-pesan dakwah Islam  dalam dalam komunikasi tradisional katoba berkaitan dengan sahadha ’syahadat’, sambahea ‘salat’, poasa ’puasa’, hadhi ‘haji’, dan zakati ‘zakat’.  Kata kunci: Pesan Dakwah; Tradisi Katoba; Masyarakat Muna.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the value of national character education in Katoba tradition of Muna ethnic community in Southeast Sulawesi. The research approach is descriptive qualitative. The data was carried out by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants were the leader of Katoba ritual (imamu), traditional leaders and cultural practitioners, and expert informants (academics and Muna culture researchers). The data were analyzed by using the reception, comparison, and description technique. The results showed that the values of character education represented in Katoba tradition that can be transformed into national character education are (1) religious, (2) honesty and trustworthiness, (3) self-esteem, (4) courtesy, (5) love and brotherhood, (6) respect for achievement, (7) enthusiastic and fight (8) discipline, (9) self-control, (10) social care and peace-loving, and (11) independence.Keywords: National character education; Tradition; Katoba; Muna etnicABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter bangsa dalam tradisi katoba pada masyarakat etnis Muna di Sulawesi Tenggara. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian, yaitu pelaku tradisi katoba (imamu), tokoh adat dan pelaku budaya, dan informan ahli (akademisi dan peneliti budaya Muna). Data dianalisis dengan teknik resepsi, komparasi, dan deskripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terepresentasi dalam tradisi katoba yang dapat ditransformasi sebagai pendidikan karakter bangsa ialah nilai (1) religius, (2) jujur dan amanah, (3) harga diri, (4) sopan santun, (5) cinta kasih dan persaudaraan, (6) menghargai prestasi, (7) semangat dan tidak pantang menyerah, (8) disiplin, (9) pengendalian diri, (10) peduli sosial dan cinta damai, dan (11) kemandirian. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan karekter nasional; Tradisi; Katoba; Etnis Muna

Abstract

This article is the result of research that aims to explain the representation of Islamic educational values ​​in the Katoba tradition of the Munanese community. The object of observation is Katoba ritual. In-depth interviews were conducted with informants from the Katoba tradition practitioner which called imamu, academics, researchers, traditional and cultural leaders, educational practitioners, community leaders, and youth leaders. Provision of research data sourced from the results of recording, field notes and documents. This study found that the representation of the values ​​of Islamic education in the katoba tradition of Munanese community consists of the value of aqidah education, the value of religious education, and the value of moral education. Abstrak: Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan representasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi Katoba pada masyarakat etnis Muna. Objek pengamatan adalah pelaksanaan ritual Katoba. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan informan pengamal tradisi katoba yang disebut imamu, akademisi, peneliti, tokoh adat dan budaya, praktisi pendidikan, tokoh masyarakat, dan tokoh pemuda. Penyediaan data penelitian bersumber dari hasil pencatatan, catatan lapangan dan dokumen. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa representasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi katoba masyarakat etnis Muna terdiri dari nilai pendidikan aqidah / tauhid; nilai pendidikan agama; dan nilai pendidikan pendidikan moral.

Abstract

This study aims to describe forms, functions, and strategies of the teacher’s directive speech acts in the discourse of deaf children’s classroom interaction. It employed the qualitative approach. The data were naturalistic in nature, collected from communication occurring in classroom interaction. The findings are as follows. First, the forms include declarative, interrogative, and imperative ones. Second, the functions comprise commands, requests, prohibitions, permissions, suggestions, expectations, invitations, warnings, and elicitations. Third, the strategies consist of direct and indirect ones. The realization of the forms, functions, and strategies of the teacher’s directive speech acts is based on a variety of contexts underlying classroom conversation discourse.

Abstract

This study aims to describe argument structures based on types of complexity andconclusion drawing in students’ academic writing discourse. It employed the qualitativedescriptive approach using the communication content analysis method. The datasources were undergraduate theses written by students of the Department of Tarbiyah,STAIN Manado. The results of the study are as follows. First, the argument structuresbased on types of complexity comprise a simple argument structure and a complexargument structure. The complex argument structure consists of an adjacent argumentstructure and a multi-layer argument structure. Second, the argument structures based onconclusion drawing consist of an inductive argument structure and a deductive argumentstructure.

Komunitas Muna di Kota Bitung sebagai komunitas perantau, bermigrasi untuk hidup dan menetap tidak serta-merta meninggalkan tradisi dan kebudayaan asal mereka di Kabupaten Muna Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Berbagai tradisi daerah asal sebagian masih dipraktikkan di daerah rantau secara tradisional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk penyampaian pesan tradisional pada perayaan roraeaha mpu pada komunitas Muna perantauan di Kota Bitung yang masih dilestarikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelian ini berupa metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesan-pesan tradisional disampaikan melalui bahasa verbal dan non verbal. Penyampaian pesan secara verbal tercermin pada tuturan tradisi kabasano haroa ‘pembacaan kenduri/selamatan’ dan (2) pointaraha lima ‘berjabat tangan’ baik berbahasa Muna maupun berbahasa campur kode (Muna-Melayu Manado). Sementara itu, penyampaian pesan non verbal tercermin kabasano haroa ‘pembacaan kenduri/selamatan’ dan (2) pointaraha lima ‘berjabat tangan’ berupa pesan simbolik,  pesan transedental, pesan proksemik, pesan artifisial, pesan gerak badan, maupun pesan ekspresi wajah.Kata kunci: pesan tradisional, roraeaha mpu, komunitas Muna perantauan Abstract Cultural based communication practic is present as a identity and marker symbol of collectivity a community and etnic. Muna community in Bitung City as a migrant community, migrated for live and stay no more left tradition and cultural from Muna City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Various local tradition from Muna was a part practiced in oversea city traditionally. The purpose of research is to know form of delivering traditional messages on roraeha mpu at migrant Muna community in Bitung City those still preserved. The used method in research is descriptive-qualitative. Theresult of research showed that traditional messages was delivered through verb and verb language. Message delivering verbally reflectived on speech of tradition kabasano haroa ‘reading of kenduri/selamatan’ and (2) pointraha lima ‘handshake’ in the form of a symbolic messages, transedental message, proksemic message, artificial message, exercise message or face expression message. Keywords: traditional message, roraeha mpu, migrant Muna community

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia is a dynamic language. But, the dynamic seems uncontrolled and unregulated which negatively influenced the development of Bahasa Indonesia in future. Further, the disorder of Bahasa Indonesia also reflects the condition of the nation’s culture in which people tend to violent the rules. Therefore, to counter the penetration of negative influence, firstly, the quality of Bahasa Indonesia must be enhanced. This effort can be started from promoting motivation and commitment in using good and correct Bahasa Indonesia in daily communication. Schools and other educational institutions must take part in this effort.

Abstract

Upaya untuk menciptakan lingkungan masyarakat yang bertutur kata santun merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena masyarakat sekarang ini tengah bergerak ke arahyang semakin maju dan modern. setiap perubahan masyarakat melahirkan konsekuensi-konsekuensi tertentu yang berkaitan dengan masalah nilai dan moral. Salah satu kecenderungan negative dari dampak perubahan dan kemajuan itu adalah pergeeran tata nilai dan pola kesantunan berbahasa masyarakat. Dengan membiasakan diri menggunakan bahasa yang santun, bahasa yang tidak  mengandung muatan makna yang dapat menyinggung perasaan orang lain, memilih, dan menyusun bahasa (kata-kata) yang mencerminkan cermat, logika, dan bersahaja, tanpa mengaburkan makna berarti kita sedang membiasakan diri untuk membangun sumber daya manusia yang memiliki sikap yang berkualitas tinggi dan berada menuju masyarakat yang madani.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of married couples who have divorced to building harmonious family. The analysis is directed at the opinion of the informant research on the basic concept of harmonic family building which is understood to be glue of building harmonious family. This reserach is a case study using the qualitative approach. The results showed that couples who have been in Muslim Community in Manado city perceive that responsibility and mutual understanding, balance, and honesty is the foundation of harmonic family building.
