Abstract

Nagari Talang Anau Tourism Village is one of the palm sugar producing areas that has been known for a long time by the community. In this area, there are many sugar palm trees and several small industries engaged in processing sap into palm sugar. However, the industry has not developed optimally and still uses conventional methods for its business management strategy. Therefore, we carried out training activities to prepare a business strategy based on the business model canvas (BMC) to the people of Nagari Talang Anau. The training was conducted using the lecture method by the speaker about BMC and continued with direct practice of BMC preparation. Some of the facilities and infrastructure supporting this service activity include stationery, BMC material, loudspeakers, laptops, and projectors. During the presentation, participants seemed enthusiastic to the material presented. The discussion went in two directions which was marked by the emergence of various questions related to BMC. The BMC consists of 9 elements including target market, consumer value proposition, channels, consumer relationships, revenue sources, main activities, human resources, cooperation, and cost structure. Through this preparation, it is expected to be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the business that has been carried out and help the palm sugar industry to focus and be rational in determining business development targets.

Abstract

Limau Manis Village as Kampung Manggis is supported by the production of mangosteen in Padang City which is number 2 (two) in West Sumatra and 80% of mangosteen in Padang City comes from Pauh Subdistrict, with the center being in Limau Manis Village and the existence of Kampung Manggis brings hope for the community to improve their economy and will have an impact on the economy of the Padang City community. The skin of mangosteen fruit can be processed into value-added products. However, farmers and local businesses still face several challenges, such as the lack of knowledge and technology to process mangosteen peels into economically valuable products. Abundant mangosteen peels during the harvest season are often discarded or burned, causing environmental impacts such as soil and air pollution. However, due to the lack of public knowledge on mangosteen peel processing as waste, an innovative solution is needed to turn mangosteen peel waste into a new source of income through the development of competitive derivative products. This community service activity is designed as a strategic step to empower the community, optimize local potential, and build an innovative, sustainable mangosteen agroindustry, creating value-added products and improving the economic welfare of the community. In addition, this activity is also expected to be a model of agroindustry development based on local potential that can be developed. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training in improving the knowledge, skills of the community in processing mangosteen skin, increasing the added value of mangosteen skin into mangosteen skin tea and mangosteen skin syrup products that have a broad impact on economic, social and environmental improvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis nilai tambah yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan minyak serai wangi menggunakan Metode Hayami. Minyak serai wangi merupakan komoditas penting dalam industri parfum dan kosmetik dengan nilai komersial yang signifikan. Metode Hayami digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi untuk mengukur efisiensi dan dampak ekonomi dari proses pengolahan minyak serai wangi. Melalui survei lapangan, pengumpulan data, dan analisis statistik, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai tahap dalam proses pengolahan minyak serai wangi dan mengukur nilai tambah yang dihasilkan pada setiap tahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tambah yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan minyak serai wangi adalah Rp1.000/kg. Marjin yang diperoleh didistribusikan untuk masing-masing faktor, yaitu keuntungan sebesar 88%, tenaga kerja sebesar 12%, dan sumbangan input lain sebesar 0%. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang manfaat ekonomi dari pengolahan minyak serai wangi dan memberikan informasi bagi perencanaan pengembangan industri berbasis serai wangi serta upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal, menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru, serta mendukung pertumbuhan sektor ini secara berkelanjutan. This study aims to analyze the value-added generated from citronella oil processing using the Hayami Method. Citronella oil is an important commodity in the perfume and cosmetics industry with significant commercial value. The Hayami Method was used as an evaluation tool to measure the efficiency and economic impact of citronella oil processing. Through field survey, data collection, and statistical analysis, this study identified the various stages in the citronella oil processing stages and measured the value-added generated at each stage. The value-added resulted from citronella oil processing was IDR1,000/kg. The margins obtained were distributed to each factor, namely business profit at 88%, labor wages at 12%, and contribution of other inputs at 0%. The findings of this study provide insight into the economic benefits of citronella oil processing and inform development planning for citronella-based industries as well as efforts to improve the welfare of local communities, create new economic opportunities, and support the sustainable growth of this sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengusulkan integrasi antara Market Basket Analysis (MBA) dan Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pengelolaan restoran yang kompleks. Pendekatan ini bertujuan menggali pola pembelian pelanggan serta memahami dinamika sistem yang memengaruhi operasional restoran, seperti waktu tunggu dan kepuasan pelanggan. Data transaksi dianalisis menggunakan algoritma Apriori dengan parameter minimum support 0,01 dan confidence 0,50 untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antar produk. Hasil MBA menjadi dasar pengembangan CLD yang memetakan interaksi kausal antar variabel utama, termasuk promosi, popularitas produk, dan laba restoran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi strategis untuk optimalisasi promosi bundling, pengelolaan waktu tunggu, dan efisiensi perencanaan stok. Integrasi MBA dan CLD memberikan pendekatan holistik untuk meningkatkan laba serta kepuasan pelanggan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

When people are aware of the fulfillment of nutritious food, the demand for foods that are high in protein increases, such as milk, eggs, and meat. This study discusses the prediction of the percentage growth of goat meat production in Indonesia using an artificial neural network using the backpropagation method. This research data was taken from goat production data in 2016-2020. The data is taken from data from the Central Statistics Agency of Indonesia. The process uses 6 variables, namely 2015 (X1) data, 2016(X2) data, 2017(X3) data, 2018(X4) data as input data, and 2019(T) data as target data. While the testing process uses 6 variables, namely data for 2016(X1), data for 2017(X2), data for 2018(X3), data for 2019(X4) as input data, and data for 2020(T) as target data. The results of this study are predictions of the number of goat meat production data for the following year and the percentage growth of Indonesian goat meat production.

Abstract

Globalization brings significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. In schools, Islamic Religious Education faces substantial challenges in the face of current globalization, which often affects local cultural values and identity. This journal aims to analyze how Islamic Religious Education can adapt and respond to the challenges of globalization in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and in-depth interviews with educators and educational practitioners. The results of the analysis show that P.A.I. in schools needs to integrate global values while maintaining the basic principles of Islamic teachings. The proposed strategy includes adjusting the curriculum to include international issues with an Islamic perspective, training educators to face global challenges, and developing relevant learning media. It is hoped that these findings can guide the development of educational policies and practices that are more responsive to the challenges of globalization while still maintaining the integrity of Islamic values.

Abstract

Pendidikan terapan pasca kelulusan dari jenjang SMK, harus memiliki perpaduan antara struktur konsep teori yang diterima dengan keahlian maupun keterampilan. Siswa memiliki peluang besar dalam mendongkrak perekonomian ketika negara berusaha bangkit dari keterpurukan ekonomi pandemi, melalui inovasi dan karya cipta. Namun amanat tersebut terganjal dengan faktor risiko kesehatan, akibat dari bawaan budaya tetap berada di rumah di kala pandemi, sehingga aktivitas olahrga dikatakan kurang. Permasalahn ini diperparah dengan meningkatnya penderita stroke akibat siswa lebih memilih junk food saat pandemi. Stroke trombotik merupakan kondisi penyumbatan lumen pembuluh darah pada bagian otak, karena trombus yang semakin lama kian menebal, sehingga aliran darah menjadi tidak lancar Aplikasi Web Rileks dan Sarung Tangan Kognitif sebagai Rehabilitasi Pasca Operasi Stroke berfokus pada pergerakan jari tangan secara lambat sebagai bentuk terapi kepada siswa stroke pasca operasi.  Penciptaan Aplikasi menggunakan perkembangan prototype sederhana. Penciptaan karya memiliki dua metode terapi rehabilitasi fungsional, yakni terapi tangan pada pergerakan jari-jari siswa dan komunikasi AIUEO dengan penderita stroke jenis trombotik. Pengukuran data terapi gerak tangan Range Of Motion (ROM), menggunakan skala  0 (zero) hingga 5 (Normal). ROM adalah latihan yang diberikan untuk mempertahankan atau memperbaiki kembali fungsinya secara normal dan untuk meningkatkan massa otot dan tonus otot pada anggota gerak tubuh. Pengembangan aplikasi mengedepankan aspek psikologis, penyembuhan bertahap serta komunikasi. Perakitan robotik sarung tangan menggunakan rangkaian umum hand exoskeleton, flex sensor, fuzzy logic, dan amplitude stimulus. Hasil Observasi data yang dilakukan selama 6 hari terhadap dua siswa, menunjukan peningkatan ROM dari angka 4 (Good) menuju 5 (Normal) di hari ketiga dan kelima.

Abstract

The rice agro-industry is a business that carries out post-harvest handling activities in the form of drying processes, processing grain into rice, and marketing rice. In the grain drying process, it is necessary to pay attention to the moisture content so that the rice produced is of high quality. The grain moisture content that must be achieved for grain storage and milling is 14%. This study aims to analyze the quality characteristics of rice in Agam Regency. This research used a purposive sampling method. The results showed that the water content of rice in Agam Regency ranged from 12.05- 13.41% and the quality of rice in Agam Regency was classified as medium rice with a head grain range of 76-82%, while the SNI 6128 2020 standard for premium rice on the head grain was at least 85%. Abstract

Persaingan antar coffee shop di Sumbawa kian berkembang, masing-masing coffee shop punya ciri khas tersendiri baik itu dari kemasan penyajian kopi ataupun dari inovasi menu kopi guna menjaga usaha tetap bisa bersaing ditengah berkembangnnya industri kopi dan juga yang tidak kalah pentingnya dengan semakin banyaknya pesaing pelaku usaha kopi harus meningkatkan strategi marketing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui urutan prioritas konsumen dalam melakukan keputusan pembelian produk kopi di Kecamatan Sumbawa dan untuk mengetahui coffee shop yang menjadi prioritas konsumen untuk dipilih. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan jumlah sampel 20 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa urutan prioritas konsumen dalam melakukan keputusan pembelian produk kopi adalah yang pertama kriteria harga dengan bobot 0,427, yang ke-dua kriteria kualitas produk dengan bobot 0,304, yang ke-tiga kriteria sosial dengan bobot 0,210 dan yang ke-empat yaitu kriteria gaya hidup dengan bobot 0,059. Coffee shop yang menjadi prioritas konsumen adalah yang pertama coffee shop Thousand Sunny, yang ke-dua coffee shop Oase Sumbawa, yang ke-tiga adalah coffee shop Serasa dan yang ke-empat adalah coffee shop Tiang Besi. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan untuk meneliti penikmat kopi secara luas atau masyarakat umum serta menambahkan variabel lainya seperti diskon harga, desain interior, online customer review dll.

Abstract

Business, Economy, Mentoring, Service, MSMEsCommunity service activities are aimed at transferring and applying science and technology directly to society. This aims to help people's lives improve and develop, including owners of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This community service and assistance was carried out at Mbak Nur's Culinary MSMEs located in Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra with the theme of creating a Business Model Canvas (BMC). The activity aims to obtain the right business model to support the sustainability of Mbak Nur's Culinary, whose main product is shrimp sweet potato crackers. Apart from that, it is hoped that new ideas will be found to support business development. Activities are carried out in a hybrid manner, namely online and offline. Overall, the implementation of service and mentoring activities for Culinary Mbak Nur was carried out through several stages which included socialization, tutorials, implementation of focus group discussions, direct practice, and evaluation of BMC preparation activities. During the Zoom Meeting, it appeared that MSME owners were enthusiastic about listening to the material presented and the discussion also went well. The results of creating a business model as described previously are felt to be very helpful for shrimp sweet potato cracker business owners in analyzing the business. This business model can also offer new ideas and forms of development, for example in terms of more flexible marketing through digital marketing. Apart from that, BMC also provides business owners with an understanding that running a business requires analysis and modeling which are the basic strategies for developing their business. This program was successful in helping Mbak Nur Culinary develop the nine elements of BMC and determine rational targets related to business development.
