Abstract

21st century skills are currently skills that are being widely developed through learning, one of which is collaboration skills. The aim of this research was to analyze the profile of students' collaboration skills through learning using the EDP model. Students were directed to overcome environmental pollution in Banten. Qualitative descriptive was a research method that used with a sample of 30 Biology Education students. The instrument used of this research was questionnaire with data collection techniques using self-assessment. There were five indicators observed, namely listening and respecting others, being flexible and compromising, working efficiently, being responsible and contributing actively. The results of the analysis show that the collaboration skills of Biology Education students with EDP learning show a very high level with an average score of 88.37.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to provide an amphibian (order Anura) species list in the Ujung Kulon National Park, Banten, Indonesia. The study was conducted in June-July 2021. The location of the study was determined using a purposive sampling method, namely based on the type of amphibian habitat located in four areas of Ujung Kulon National Park, namely Handeulum Island, Cigenter, Peucang Island, and Cidaon. Sampling was carried out in the morning at 07:00-11:00 WIB and in the evening at 19:00-22:00 WIB using the VES (Visual Encounter Survey) method combined with line transects. The observation station has an average temperature of 25-30˚C, soil moisture 62-69%, air humidity 80-89%, light intensity 832-1443 lux, and soil pH 6.5-6.7. The amphibians obtained were 10 species from 5 families. The Family Dicroglossidae is the most found. The most common species found were at station 3 on Peucang Island and station 4 Cidaon. Differences in the composition of amphibians are caused by different habitats at each station and environmental factors.

Abstract

The attendance system for lecture activities in various educational institutions, including the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Mataram, still uses paper as a recording medium. The use of paper has a risk of damage and loss, and allows fraud by students. The author developed an Android-based lecture attendance application that uses facial recognition technology with FaceNet, to overcome this problem. When they want to fill in the attendance list, students must take a selfie with the appropriate face position when registering into the attendance system. Through testing facial images, research shows that this system has an accuracy rate of 96.53% in various facial positions, such as upright facing the camera, facing right, and facing left, so that it can be considered very good for recognizing and validating student faces. Thus, the use of this application can help reduce the risk of damage and loss of paper and minimize the possibility of fraud by students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class X/phase E SMA Negeri 3 Salatiga in economics subjects. This research includes collaborative classroom action research with a sample of all students in class X5 consisting of 34 students using two research cycles. The flow in each cycle is planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This study uses a quantitative approach with research instruments in the form of pretest, posttest, student activity sheets, and self-assessment to see the effectiveness of the TGT model learning process on learning outcomes. The results showed that, in the cognitive domain, there was an increase in learning outcomes with an average score of 76 for the first cycle and 81 for the second cycle, while in the affective domain, there was an increase in attitude with an average value of 80% in cycle I and 82% in cycle 2. Moreover, student activity was obtained from self-assessment through a questionnaire with an average score of 68.24% in cycle I and 81.76% in cycle II.  Furthermore, the gain test result of 0.37926 is included in the medium category. It is suggested that the application of the TGT model can increase understanding and activeness in teaching and learning activities as well as for innovation and development through the application of the TGT model especially for teachers and for other researchers to develop a TGT model that is integrated with interactive media and technology.

Abstract

Advances in technology require Muslims to change the method of preaching. The da'wah method of utilizing the internet seems to make it easier for every individual to gain Islamic knowledge without having to go directly to the place of study, one of which is through animated films. This study aims to determine Islamic aspects and educational strategies contained in the animated series Nussa and Rara episodes 1-10 and will become reference material for educators and parents of students in educating them. This study uses a qualitative approach, data collection is done through observation and analysis. Observing directly every scene of the animated series Nussa episodes 1-10 which indicates aspects of Islam then describes these values ​​using the basis of Tzevan Todorov's analysis. The results of this study are episode 1 aspects of aqidah and shari'ah, episode 2 aspects of shari'ah, episode 3 aspects of aqidah and shari'ah, episode 4 aspects of aqidah, akhlak, and syari'ah, episode 5 aspects of shari'ah, episode 6 aspects of shari'ah, aspects of shari'ah episode 7), aspects of shari'ah and morals episode 8, moral aspects episode 9, and aspects of shari'ah episode 10. Educational strategies in the animated series Nussa and Rara use problem-based learning strategies (SPBM). Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi menuntut umat Islam untuk mengubah metode dakwah. Metode dakwah dengan memanfaatkan internet nampaknya memudahkan setiap individu untuk menimba ilmu keislaman tanpa harus langsung ke tempat belajar, salah satunya melalui film animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek keislaman dan strategi pendidikan yang terkandung dalam serial animasi Nussa dan Rara episode 1-10 dan akan menjadi bahan referensi bagi para pendidik dan orang tua siswa dalam mendidik mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan analisis. Mencermati secara langsung setiap adegan serial animasi Nussa episode 1-10 yang menunjukkan aspek keislaman kemudian memaparkan nilai-nilai tersebut dengan dasar analisis Tzevan Todorov. Hasil penelitian ini adalah episode 1 aspek aqidah dan syari'ah, episode 2 aspek syari'ah, episode 3 aspek aqidah dan syari'ah, episode 4 aspek aqidah, akhlak, dan syari'ah, episode 5 aspek aspek syari'ah, aspek syari'ah episode 6, aspek syari'ah episode 7), aspek syari'ah dan akhlak episode 8, aspek moral episode 9, dan aspek syari'ah episode 10. serial animasi Nussa dan Rara menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah (SPBM).

Abstract

Among the student-centered approaches, there is one that stands out: student-centered learning (SCL). This model emphasizes students' ability to learn and make decisions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method; examining how the student-centered learning paradigm is applied in the field of guidance and counseling is the main objective of this research. The informants in this study were field study students in the Islamic Education Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta during the period October–November 2023. The students involved were all registered in the guidance and counseling course. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the student-centered learning model in guidance and counseling classes B and C in the odd semester of 2023 proved effective in increasing student activeness. The increase in student activity can be seen in the increase in critical thinking skills, communication skills, and skills in solving problems. In addition, the lecturer acts as a facilitator of learning practices and is responsible for overseeing the entire learning process.   Abstrak Diantara pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa, ada satu yang menonjol: Pembelajaran Berpusat pada Siswa (SCL). Model ini menekankan pada kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan pengambilan keputusan terkait pertumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, mengkaji bagaimana paradigma pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa diterapkan dalam bidang bimbingan dan konseling menjadi tujuan utama penelitian ini. Informan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa studi lapangan di Program Pendidikan Agama Islam UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta selama periode Oktober–NNovember 2023. Mahasiswa yang terlibat semuanya terdaftar pada mata kuliah Bimbingan dan Konseling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model Student-Centered Learning pada kelas Bimbingan dan Konseling B dan C pada semester ganjil tahun 2023 terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa. Peningkatan aktivitas mahasiswa dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan berkomunikasi, dan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah. Disamping itu, dosen berperan sebagai fasilitator praktik pembelajaran yang bertanggung jawab mengawasi seluruh rangkaian pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning strategies of lecture material and fiqh learning at the Islamic State Islamic University Curup Madrasah, Curup Utara District, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu. The subject of this research is the teacher of Fiqh material and learning at the Madrasah IAIN Curup. Data collection uses the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, withdrawal/verification. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study, the strategies used in Fiqh learning at IAIN Curup, North Curup District, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu, are expository learning strategies, inquiry learning strategies, problem solving learning strategies and active/interactive learning strategies, cooperative learning strategies. at IAIN Curup. The teacher's effort to deal with the problems faced in the Fiqh learning process is to complete the facilities or learning media and choose the right level of learning according to the student's condition.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang kecerdasan intelektual dalam pandangan Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan atau studi literatur. Dalam penelitian studi pustaka ini, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis isi (content analysis). Data-data tersebut bisa diperoleh dari jurnal penelitian, buku, majalah, e-book, maupun internet Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Al-Quran sebagai sumber pertama Islam sangat memperhatikan kecerdasan intelektual manusia. Manusia dianugerahi akal yang tidak dimiliki makhluk lain. Akal diciptakan Tuhan untuk membantu manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan kapasitas yang dimiliki oleh manusia, maka penting bagi manusia untuk memahami dan mempelajari kitab suci Al-Qur'an serta mempelajari setiap ayatnya. Hal ini agar manusia dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan intelektualnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this qualitative study is to determine how Islamic Religious Education students view sexual violence and cases instances sexual assault that take place in higher education settings and investigate more how students react to those who have been sexually assaulted. The large number of cases of sexual violence that occur in universities are caused by power relations as someone who has more power over students so that these actions can occur. Apart from that, sexual violence can also occur due to a lack of education for students regarding self-protection and ways to increase awareness of cases of sexual violence which can attack anyone at any time and be carried out by anyone, even those closest to us. This research will be carried out on the campus of the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta, where several students' perspectives and understanding will be sought regarding cases of sexual violence that occur on the campus of the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University and also understanding of cases of sexual violence on campuses in Indonesia. This study employs descriptive methodologies and a qualitative approach in field research. This research was carried out using a phenomenological and normative approach which aims to describe how students majoring in Islamic religious education who also have a santri background understand about incidents of sexual assault that took place on campus of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Research data was obtained using 3 types of student respondents, namely fundamentalist students, activist students and traditionalist students. Each of course has a different point of view.

Abstract

Dalam dinamika institusi pendidikan, pertentangan menjadi suatu hal yang tidak dapat dihindari, baik dalam skala individu maupun kelompok. Konflik merupakan situasi di mana dua atau lebih pihak memiliki perbedaan pandangan, tujuan, ataupun kepentingan. Konflik bisa muncul dalam berbagai situasi, termasuk di dalam lingkungan organisasi. Ketidakcocokan yang timbul dari perbedaan dalam konteks organisasi sering menjadi pemicu terjadinya konflik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan mengidentifikasi berbagai bentuk konflik yang terjadi dalam konteks organisasi maupun pendidikan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah studi literatur, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber pustaka, membaca, mencatat, serta mengelola bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik dapat timbul dalam berbagai situasi, termasuk di dalam dunia pendidikan dan lingkungan organisasi. Dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan, terdapat beberapa jenis konflik, seperti antara individu, kelompok, atau antar bagian di institusi tersebut. Ada beragam model penyelesaian konflik dalam konteks organisasi pendidikan, seperti Accommodating, Integrating, Obliging, Dominating, Avoiding, Compromising, dan Collaborating. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam penyelesaian konflik terdapat beberapa elemen penting, jika diatur secara sistematis, sehingga hal itu dapat memberikan dampak positif pada kemajuan dan perkembangan baik dalam lembaga pendidikan maupun organisasi. Sebaliknya, mengabaikan konflik dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif pada perkembangan peserta didik dan merusak citra lembaga pendidikan serta organisasi tersebut.
