Abstract

Penelitian ini mengukur tingkat digitalisasi UMKM dan menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat penggunaan teknologi digital pada UMKM yang terdampak COVID-19. Model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) digunakan untuk memetakan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat penggunaan teknologi digital.

Abstract

This study intends to examine what factors were determined the quality of financial statements. We examined the impact of internal audit quality, corporate governance, and CSR performances on financial reporting quality. Since financial reporting quality was difficult to observe directly, we used the accrual earnings management (EM) approach. Using 78 firm-year observations of 39 public companies listed in the LQ-45 index from 2019 to 2020, We employed Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression as our data analysis technique. The number of audit committees and board size became the measurement indicators of internal audit quality and corporate governance. Moreover, CSR ratings provided by CSR Hub measured CSR performances. Our findings indicated a positive relationship between internal audit quality and corporate governance on the quality of financial performance. It means that both internal quality and corporate governance become the determinant factors of financial reporting quality. On the other hand, CSR performances did not have any relationship with the financial reporting quality. This paper provides fruitful insight into the factors that driven financial reporting quality. Using different aspects of factors influencing the quality of financial statements, we initially offer valuable insight for business practitioners and potential investors to assess the quality of financial performance

Abstract

AbstractIn the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, digital technology plays a role in all aspects of human life, where this condition requires everyone to prepare themselves to be able to compete in the midst of many human resources being replaced by robots or machines. One of the early self-preparations is to instill entrepreneurial character values, namely creativity, hard work, independence, leadership, risk taking, and orientation to action in early childhood which is also a step in realizing the vision of the RA Terpadu Al-Qolam School Semarang. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. This study aims to reveal the actual conditions of inculcating entrepreneurial values with children being taught to be creative in making products, understanding product prices, and marketing them at RA Terpadu Al-Qolam Semarang. The results of these activities can be used as a way to instill entrepreneurial character values from an early age with the hope that in the future they will form a superior generation and even be able to create jobs. Keywords: entrepreneurial value, early childhood, industry 4.0

Abstract

Undergraduate students who are in pre-employment conditions need to manage their career orientation from an early age. There are still few studies that explore protean career orientation at the pre-employment level (especially at the undergraduate level). This study was aimed to examine the factors that influence the protean career orientation of undergraduate students. It examines the impact of individual adaptability and internal locus of control on protean career orientation, as well as examines the role of academic advisory as a moderator. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 160 samples, which were undergraduate students in Indonesia. Data analysis was performed using the SEM-PLS method. There are several research results obtained: 1) individual adaptability has a positive effect on protean career orientation, 2) internal locus of control has a positive effect on protean career orientation, and 3) academic advisory has no moderating effect on both relationships. These results enrich the literature on the antecedents of protean career orientation. There are several implications of these results, including 1) this finding enriches the literature on the study related to the antecedents of protean career orientation, 2) enriches the literature on protean career orientation with individual objects that are still in preparation to enter the workplace (i.e., students), and 3) this finding can be a reference for higher education institution to facilitate students career planning early.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between organizational change communication and workplace bullying on job insecurity, as well as investigate the moderating role of trust in management. The objects of this research were employees who work in companies affected by Covid-19 in Indonesia, particularly in the tourism, banking, education, and entertainment sectors. The data were obtained through a survey by distributing questionnaires using a purposive sampling technique to 174 respondents, and it was analyzed using the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study showed that organizational change communication has a negative effect on job insecurity, workplace bullying has a negative effect on job insecurity, and trust in management moderates the positive effect of workplace bullying on job insecurity. However, there is no moderating effect of trust in management on organizational change communication and job insecurity. There are some limitations and suggestions discussed in this paper. Keywords: Organizational change communication, workplace bullying, trust in management, job insecurity

Abstract

There is still limited literature on organizational change management that focuses on examining the impact of resistance to change on deviant work behavior. This study examines the effect of resistance on changes in counterproductive work behavior. Change information is proposed as a moderating variable in the effect of resistance on changes to counterproductive work behavior. This study took a population of lecturers in the context of organizational change in higher education institutions with the establishment of the MBKM Curriculum as a substitute for the previous curriculum. Data were obtained from a sample of 156 using a random sampling technique. Data analysis used the SEM-PLS technique with the Warp-PLS application. The study results prove that resistance to change has a positive effect on counterproductive work behavior. However, the study results contradict the second hypothesis, where the moderating effect of change information is positive. These results contribute to developing organizational change management literature that has not been studied before by providing evidence that resistance to change can lead to counterproductive work behavior. The results of this study also explain the need for organizations to deal with resistance to organizational change shown by employees so that it does not lead to behavior that is detrimental to the organization, such as counterproductive work behavior

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how change information affects resistance to organizational change in the context of MBKM Curriculum implementation. We also examine the moderating role of change leadership on the effect of change information on resistance to change in the MBKM Curriculum implementation. The population of this research is all lecturers in Indonesia. The number of samples used was 156 obtained by random sampling technique. Data processing was carried out using the SEM-PLS methode by the Warp-PLS 6.0 application. The results show that change information has a negative effect on resistance to changes in the MBKM Curriculum. Change leadership also has a negative moderating role in the relationship between change information and resistance to changes in the MBKM Curriculum. The results of this study enrich the literature on organizational change management in particular by clarifying the antecedents of resistance to organizational change, namely change information. This research shows the importance of higher education institutional leaders to implement change-oriented leadership in overseeing the implementation of changes to the MBKM Curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of growth of the manufacturing sector, the human development index, and inflation on income inequality in the Solo Raya Region in 2008-2020. This study used panel data analysis with six districts and one city member of the Solo Raya Region. The data analysis stage was a selection test of the estimation technique and the classical assumption test to produce the best panel data regression model with the SUR cross-section weight. The regression estimation shows that the growth of the manufacturing sector and inflation positively and significantly affect income inequality. The human development index shows a negative and significant impact on income inequality. This analysis indicates that the economic development process in the Solo Raya region is in line with the development stages based on Rostow's view. The positive relationship between growth in the manufacturing sector and income inequality shows similarities to Kuznets's hypothesis that income inequality will increase in the initial phase of economic growth.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of knowledge-sharing culture in higher education institutions on knowledge-hiding behavior in lecturers. Second, we tested the influence of ethical leadership on knowledge-hiding behavior in lecturers. This research was designed as explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all lecturers spread throughout Indonesia, with a sample size of 150 people. The data collection technique uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis was carried out using validity and reliability tests. Hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of data analysis prove H1 and H2, where a culture of knowledge sharing and ethical leadership has a negative effect on knowledge hiding. The research results contribute to developing literature on knowledge hiding, especially in higher education. These results also contribute practically, especially to higher education institutions, in anticipating the emergence of the knowledge-hiding phenomenon among lecturers.
