Abstract

Natural food color are now widely used in food products because they have no side effects that are harmful to the health of the human body. Red dragon skin is one of the sources of natural food coloring. Red dragon skin contains betasianin pigment which produces red-violet. Research aims to determine the effect of the type of solvent and extraction temperature on the characteristics of the Betasianin pigment extract. Betasianin pigment is extracted using the decox method. The parameters measured are colors (L, a, b), pH, and betasianin pigment content. Research uses a randomized group design. Betacyanin pigment from red dragon fruit skin can be extracted using the water bath assisted solvent extraction method. An effective solvent used for the extraction of betacyanin pigment is distilled water and NaCl. Betacyanin pigment can be a natural colorant in food products. Highlights: Optimal Solvent Selection: Distilled water and NaCl are effective solvents for betacyanin pigment extraction, enhancing natural food colorant potential. Influence of Extraction Temperature: Study investigates how extraction temperature impacts betacyanin pigment content and color characteristics. Application in Food Industry: Betacyanin pigment from red dragon fruit skin offers a safe and vibrant natural coloring option for food products. Keywords : betacyanin, extraction, red dragon fruit peel

Abstract

This Study aims to develop a line tracer using Arduino Uno the PID control method. Line tracer robot is a type of robot is a type of robot capable of following a specified path. The PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control used to keep the robot on track by correcting the difference between the actual and the desired position. In this study, 6 photo diode sensors were used, the motor driver used the L293D, and the microcontroller used Arduino Uno. Testing the response of the photo diode sensor had the smallest voltage value at 1,219 Vdc and the largest voltage at 4,875 the result of the motor driver measurements all succeeded in stopping, ccw or cw. The end of testing the line tracer robot using PID control is able to navigate properly without getting of the track. Highlights: Precise Path Following: PID control ensures accurate tracking by correcting position deviations. Sensor Response Evaluation: Photo diode sensor testing reveals voltage range (1.219 Vdc to 4.875 V) for effective line detection. Motor Driver Proficiency: L293D motor driver successfully controls motor functions (stop, ccw, cw) for optimal movement. Keywords : Robot, Line Tracer, PID, Arduino Uno

Abstract

Design and optimization of PID controller for Arduino Uno-based DC motor with encoder feedback and signal conditioning using LM324 op-amp. The method used is Ziegler–Nichols (ZN) to obtain the initial parameters Kp, Ki, and Kd from the measurement of ultimate gain (Ku) and oscillation period (Pu). The plant model uses a digital implementation of a DC motor including anti-windup, first-order filtered derivatives, and PWM voltage limiting. The test data in the form of step response, disturbance rejection, and sensitivity to noise are analyzed using rise time, overshoot, settling time, IAE, and ISE indicators. The analysis results of Ku≈11.3 and Pu≈0.3 s produce Kp≈6.80, Ki≈45.31, Kd≈0.25, with fast response and acceptable overshoot; fine-tuning reduces oscillation and accelerates steady-state time. The conclusion is that the LM324 encoder improves feedback accuracy, while ZN is effective as a starting point for tuning for stable and robust performance. Highlights: Accurate tuning using Ziegler–Nichols method provides effective initial PID parameters. LM324 signal conditioning enhances encoder feedback precision. Optimized response achieves fast rise time with minimal overshoot and stable steady-state. Keywords: PID, Ziegler–Nichols, motor DC, encoder, LM324

Abstract

General Background: Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) function as strategic institutions supporting rural economic independence through accountable business management, where reliable financial administration is essential for transparency and decision-making. Specific Background: Within accounting systems, the general ledger serves as the central record of financial transactions prior to the preparation of formal financial statements, making it a critical component of financial reporting administration. Knowledge Gap: Despite its widespread adoption, the implementation of general ledger–based financial reporting systems in BUMDes contexts still presents operational challenges and has not been sufficiently examined through qualitative evaluation at the institutional level. Aims: This study evaluates the general ledger–based financial reporting administration system implemented at BUMDes Arjuna Lestari in Jatiarjo Village, Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency. Results: Using a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation studies, the findings indicate that the system supports structured recording of financial transactions and improves traceability of financial data. However, several constraints remain, including limited human resources, continued reliance on manual recording practices, and standard operating procedures that are not yet fully optimized. Novelty: The study provides an in-depth qualitative examination of operational practices and constraints within a village-level financial administration system utilizing a general ledger framework. Implications: The findings suggest the need for capacity development among BUMDes managers, standardized accounting procedures, and the adoption of simple digital financial applications to strengthen the quality and reliability of financial reporting. Highlights: Structured transaction documentation and improved data traceability were observed in organizational accounting practices. Operational constraints include limited managerial capacity, manual bookkeeping practices, and incomplete procedural standards. Strengthening managerial skills and adopting simple digital accounting tools are recommended for better reporting quality.
