Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk merupakan salah satu sanksi yang diimplementasikan dalam hukum syariah di Aceh dengan mempertimbangkan analisis terhadap Qanun Aceh No. 6 Tahun 2014. Penelitian ini mengkaji dua aspek utama, yaitu penerapan hukuman cambuk di Aceh, termasuk pengaruh nilai-nilai adat dalam proses hukum; serta efektivitas pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk berdasarkan analisis terhadap Qanun Aceh No. 6 Tahun 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan normatif yang mendalam, yang melibatkan analisis terperinci tentang perbandingan antara sistem hukum yang berlaku di Aceh dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam yang menjadi dasar hukum syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Qanun Aceh No. 6 Tahun 2014 memegang peran penting dalam penegakan hukum syariah di Aceh, serta mempertahankan nilai-nilai adat masyarakat Aceh. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pemahaman terhadap hukum syariah dan nilai-nilai adat dalam penegakan hukuman cambuk di Aceh. penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang implementasi hukuman cambuk di Aceh, tetapi juga menarik perhatian pada kebutuhan untuk terus meningkatkan efektivitas sistem peradilan di wilayah Aceh, dengan mempertimbangkan keragaman dan kompleksitas konteks sosial, budaya, dan hukum yang ada. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang implementasi hukuman cambuk di Aceh, serta memberikan perhatian lebih lanjut dalam rangka meningkatkan efektivitas sistem peradilan di wilayah Aceh.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kader posyandu di Desa Penyengat Olak dan desa sekitarnya mengenai pengendalian risiko penyakit jantung melalui edukasi dan penjaringan kesehatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Aula Pertemuan Puskesmas Penyengat Olak dengan melibatkan 90 kader posyandu dari tiga desa: Sembubuk, Mendalo Laut, dan Kedemangan. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pretest untuk mengukur pengetahuan awal kader, dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi edukasi tentang penyebab, gejala, faktor risiko, pencegahan, serta deteksi dini penyakit jantung. Edukasi disampaikan oleh dosen Poltekkes Kemenkes Jambi dan didukung oleh mahasiswa Teknologi Laboratorium Medis. Hasil pemeriksaan kesehatan menunjukkan bahwa 53,33% kader mengalami hipertensi, 23,33% memiliki kadar gula darah tinggi, dan 60% memiliki kadar kolesterol tinggi, yang mengindikasikan risiko penyakit jantung di kalangan kader. Setelah dilakukan edukasi, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan kader, terbukti dari hasil posttest yang menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang penyakit jantung. Sebagai tindak lanjut, dibentuk grup WhatsApp untuk diskusi berkelanjutan dan penjaringan suspek penyakit jantung di masing-masing desa. Kerja sama yang baik antara Puskesmas Penyengat Olak, narasumber, dan kader posyandu menjadi kunci keberhasilan kegiatan ini dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan masyarakat

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into educational practices has become increasingly crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes. This community service aims to equip participants with practical knowledge of the application of AI as a supporting system for intracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Montong Gading, Lombok Timur. The method of community service undertaking involved an interactive workshop to introduce AI concepts and provision of ongoing post program mentoring. These sessions were designed to not only deliver theoretical knowledge but also to offer practical applications of AI in an educational context. The workshop yielded a significant increase in teachers' competence, with 96% of participants reporting a deeper understanding and confidence in using AI tools within their teaching practices. Teachers also successfully developed AI-based teaching materials, which were implemented and positively impacted classroom dynamics. The implications of this study suggested that with proper training and support, AI can be a powerful tool in personalizing education and improving student engagement. Furthermore, the program fosters a collaborative environment among educators, encouraging the sharing and refining of AI-integrated teaching practices. The study recommends continued support and regular evaluations to sustain and enhance the integration of AI in educational settings. This will potentially serve as a model for similar initiatives in other schools

Abstract

This research analyzes the legal provisions regarding the obligation to pay overtime wages and legal options for workers if the company fails to provide overtime compensation. Overtime wages are the right of workers regulated in Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower which has been amended by Law No. 6 of 2023 and Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021. This study uses a case analysis of PT X in Semarang, which was accused of not paying overtime wages in full to its employees. The findings show that despite clear legal regulations, implementation faces various obstacles, such as inadequate supervision and lack of legal awareness. Employees whose rights are not met can pursue out-of-court (e.g. bipartite negotiation, mediation, conciliation, arbitration) and court channels through the labor court. Non-compliance with regulations on overtime pay not only impacts the economic situation of employees, but also causes imbalances in labor relations. This research recommends strengthening the labor inspection system, increasing transparency in the handling of working hours, increasing legal awareness among employees, and developing a more accurate time recording system to ensure the fulfillment of employee rights according to the applicable regulations.

Abstract

The problem of this research was to answer whether it was significantly effective or not to use Make a Match technique in teaching Descriptive Text to the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau in the Academic Year 2022/2023. In addition, the objective in conducting this research was to find out the effectiveness of this technique in teaching descriptive text. Here, quasi-experimental research with total population 417 students was used by the researcher. Then, the researcher used cluster random sampling included 71 students from class VII.5 and VII.6. From the investigation which had been done by the researcher, it was found out that tobtained was 5.473 which was higher than ttable 1.667. It can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Finally, there was a significant difference achievement between students who were taught and were not taught by using Make a Match technique.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on mathematical critical thinking skills in grade IV students in elementary schools. Critical thinking is one of the most important skills in learning mathematics, because it helps students analyze, assess, and solve problems in a logical and orderly manner. This study used an experimental method with a pre-experimental design and applied a quantitative approach. The subjects studied were grade IV C students at the UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng 1, Makassar, with a total of 21 students. The instrument used for the study was a mathematical critical thinking ability test that had been tested and validated. The results of this data collection technique applied a pretest and posttest with 5 essay questions as a measure to assess students. The results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of students taught with the PBL model compared to those taught using the traditional method. The pretest activity showed the frequency distribution of student scores, which showed that no students scored in the range of 85-100. A total of 8 students scored between 70-80, 10 students scored in the range of 55-69, and 3 students were in the range of 40-54. As for the posttest results, the frequency distribution showed that 12 students scored between 85-100. In addition, 9 students scored in the range of 70-84, and no students scored in the range of 55-69.

Abstract

The goal of this community service program was to assist teachers to learn more about technology and get better at using AI tools like ChatGPT, QuillBot, and Canva AI to make engaging learning materials. The program used a model of workshops where everyone could participate, followed by continuing mentoring and self-evaluation. Twenty English teachers from the Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) network went to SMPN 4 Gunung Sari for mixed-type training. Surveys, observations, and conversations were used to gather information. The results show that teachers' trust and ability to use AI in English Language Teaching (ELT) has grown significantly. Participants made lesson plans and teaching tools that used AI and shared the best ways to do things through digital communities. Teachers liked the practical method and were ready to keep using AI tools, even though there were some problems, like not enough infrastructures and not enough time for practice. This program shows that learning how to use AI can change the way teachers do their jobs and help schools build a culture of digital innovation that lasts. It is suggested that a training of trainers’ model be used to make the program more impactful to facilitate the MGMP community. Thus, it will create a chain effect that helps teachers become more independent and keeps the training going in their local areas.
