Abstract

Digital marketing, termasuk social media marketing, memegang peran penting dalam memaparkan banyak hal. Museum di Yogyakarta sudah banyak melakukan promosi melalui media sosial dan mengikuti tren, antara lain Museum Sonobudoyo dan Museum Sandi. Berbagai tantangan ditemui dalam mengembangkan media sosial di museum, misalnya kondisi nyata museum yang belum dapat melakukan banyak inovasi dan regulasi yang mendasari. Kedua museum (Museum Sonobudoyo milik Pemerintah Daerah Yogyakarta dan Museum Sandi adalah milik Badan Sandi Negara Jakarta) dipilih berdasarkan purposive random sampling, yaitu berdasarkan keaktifan dalam update media sosial selama 6 bulan terakhir terhitung dari Oktober 2019 – Maret 2020. Studi kualitatif dan kuantitatif diadakan untuk menilai persepsi dan opini masyarakat terhadap museum serta mencari tahu apa yang sebaiknya ditingkatkan oleh pihak museum sehingga masyarakat semakin tergerak untuk datang ke museum. Hasil studi ini diharapkan akan menjadi panduan museum untuk memperbaiki diri dan beradaptasi dengan situasi dan trend wisata yang ada di masyarakat berdasarkan disrupsi teknologi yang ada saat ini.

Abstract

Increasing Competency of Village Tourism Managers through Counseling Prime Services. Customer satisfaction is the key to winning business competition today, including the tourism business. But in the field, there are still many tourism people who still ignore this at this time. A phenomenon that is often encountered is cheating in business, attracting prices too high to achieve big profits in a short time. Therefore, it is very important to do counselling on how to manage good tourism services with a 5-dimensional approach to excellent service, especially for prospective tourism destinations that will develop. To find out the effectiveness of this program, a descriptive analysis has been carried out. The test results indicate there is an understanding of participants about excellent service after counselling.

Abstract

Mentoring of Garongan Tourism Village: Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA Yogyakarta Collaboration Program with the Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/ Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Garongan Tourism Village is one of the developing tourism villages in the Yogyakarta Special Region. Garongan Tourism Village has tourism potential, including natural tourism, cultural tourism, culinary tourism. This village also has an interesting historical background as a former hiding place for thieves (Garong: Java). There are still weaknesses in the management of Garongan Tourism Village and the many tourism potentials that exist, so that this village needs improvement through the tourism village assistance program. This mentoring program results from the collaboration between the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA Yogyakarta and the Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Mentoring results are measured by indicators of success, showing that the capacity of human resources and governance of the Garongan Tourism Village has increased. This mentoring program also resulted in the achievement of the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA Yogyakarta as the best tourism village mentoring in the top 14 National ranks by the Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of service quality to satisfaction and tourist loyality in Ciater Spa Resort. The method used in this research is descriptive verificative. Method analisis of this research is analisis path with software PLS. The results showed that the quality of service has no significant effect on loyalty, it means that service quality as exogenous variable requires intervening role (variable of satisfaction). Visitor satisfaction at Ciater Spa Resort has a significant effect on visitor loyalty. In addition, the relationship between the two research variables are positive, the increasing customer satisfaction will increase also loyalty, otherwise the decrease in visitor satisfaction will have an impact on the decrease in visitor loyalty. These findings have matched customer loyalty theory in marketing books. So that verifikatif research has been done successfully to verify the theory of loyalty in general. This article at once confirms a model of service theory as well as its relationship with satisfaction and loyalty, while minimizing the possibility of false loyalty so that this model can be used in the implementation of service management.Keywords: service quality, satisfaction, loyality.

Abstract

The raising awareness of social media museums has developed gradually. A previous study related to the topic which found out that it was not properly managed is now defeated with a better solution of having a consultant or outsource staff in the museum. As social media has a great role in improving museum visitors and awareness in society, a deeper understanding and method of its application is explored in this study. The general purpose of this research is to find out the suitable Social Media Marketing method for Millennial targets as they are very active on social media compared to other generations. The method of this research was mix qualitative-quantitative approach and the sample was Sonobudoyo and Sandi museums in Yogyakarta, Indonesia was selected based on the active use of social media especially Instagram. The respondents were thirty-nine Instagram followers of Sonobudoyo and thirty-eight Instagram followers of Sandi. This study concludes that both museums have a good implementation of Social Media Marketing as the number of Instagram followers is above 5,000. It is suggested that the result of this study could provide input for other museums in Indonesia to become preferred tourism destinations while carrying out proper Social Media Marketing (SMM) especially for Millennials through updated and exciting content.

Abstract

Assistance with human resources in the Garongan Tourism Village. Despite the abundance of potential tourism-related activities, the management of Garongan Tourism Village still has several flaws. The Yogyakarta AMPTA Tourism College, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, has established the Tourism Village Assistance Program in response to some current issues. The work programs that have been effectively put into practice include: (1) integrated tourist village FGD; (2) integrated tourism product packaging training; (3) integrated tour package sales training; (4) preparation of storytelling and edutrip guides for Garongan tourism village; (5) coaching for the preparation of tour packages; (6) training and coaching on digital tourism village marketing; (7) coaching of tourism village financial management; (8) tourism village scouting training; (9) Digitization of tour packages with audio-visual catalogues; (10) Special culinary training based on processed fish and salak; and (11) Training on making souvenirs with the theme of Garongan tourism village.

Abstract

Tourism trends are starting to shift from being oriented towards mass tourism to alternative tourism. The tendency of tourists to back to nature, making ecotourism, is growing in interest. These changes can affect tourist decision making when visiting a tourism destination. The study aims to determine the effect of alternative tourism trends on millennial tourists visiting findings (a study of ecotourism destinations in Yogyakarta). Quantitative research was conducted by passing out questionnaires to 100 respondents who had seen the ecotourism destination in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (Ancient Volcano Nglanggeran, Mount Merapi Nation Park, and Mudal River Park). Sampling was done using cluster sampling and proportionate stratified random sampling techniques. Analysis using simple linear regression Based on the results of research at a significant level of 5% shows that alternative tourism trends have a positive and significant effect on the decision to visit millennial tourists (a study of ecotourism destinations in Yogyakarta). This is proved by the results of t-test analysis obtained at 4,966 > 1,665, then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the coefficient determination (R²), an Adjusted R Square value of 0,201 shows that alternative tourism trends contributed 20,1% to the decision of visiting millennial tourists at ecotourism destinations in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Human Resources Development in the Mine Circle Area PT. Berau Coal through Tourism Village Training Tourist visits to Berau Regency are expected to increase from 2010 to 2021. therefore, human resources must be carefully prepared to support smooth tourism activities, which PT Berau Coal is doing through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and PPM (Community Empowerment and Development) activities. Community service will be conducted on human resources development in the Mine Circle Area of PT. Berau Coal through the Tourism Village Training by identifying HR competencies before and after the tourism village training and identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors for the training's implementation. Tourism village training was held, and community readiness increased as a result, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in this activity.

Abstract

Tulen Telase Hill Tourism Development Master Plan. The development of the Bukit Tulen Telase tourist area in Air Limau Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency is very prospective. This article is the output of community service activities that aim to recommend the Masterplan as a reference for developing the Bukit Tulen Telase tourist area. By analyzing tourism potential, the team analyzed market aspects based on the potential of the Bukit Tulen Telase area. Then analyze tourism potential based on institutional studies, and provide recommendations for developing integrated tour packages. The implementation of community service is divided into several stages. The first stage is a literature review followed by secondary data collection. The second stage consists of a primary data survey, orientation, and focus group discussions. The third stage identifies regional development potentials, problems, and analyses, and the final stage is concept formulation and development strategy. The Bukit Tulen Telase area in West Bangka Regency has shown promise as a tourist destination. The development of the Bukit Tulen Telase area necessitates synergistic collaboration from multiple parties to strengthen and complement one another. Putting together integrated tour packages can be a form of synergistic collaboration.

Abstract

Artikel ini mencoba mewujudkan sebuah solusi bagaimana memanfaatkan kekayaan geologi beserta berbagai dinamikanya untuk kegiatan wisata dan ekonomi yang berwawasan lingkungan pada tingkatan manajemen tapak. Paradigma dalam pengelolaan geowisata adalah bagaimana pengelolaan pariwisata mampu mengoptimalkan potensi alam (geologi) menjadi bernilai tambah bagi kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat lokal, sekaligus mampu menekan seminimal mungkin potensi kerusakan alam. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini mencoba merekomendasikan model pengelolaan geowisata. Pengeloaan geowisata berada dalam lima fokus utama, yaitu : merumuskan potensi alam yang dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan geowisata, merumuskan kriteria-kriteria destinasi geowisata, manajemen geowisata, merumuskan aktifitas dalam kegiatan geowisata, dan terakhir mengenai indikator keberhasilan atau dari output geowisata.
