Abstract

This study aims to develop Educandy-based learning media on the material of Origin Chapter 7 of grade IV elementary school that is valid and practical. This research is an R&D study using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection technique used is a student response questionnaire. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that the Educandy-based learning media developed with a very valid category based on the validation questionnaire from the validator consisting of 2 lecturers and 1 teacher of SD 233 Palembang which is assessed from all aspects, namely media, language and materials with a percentage obtained 97.91%. Educandy-based learning media developed with a very practical category based on student repos questionnaires obtained a percentage of 94,69% (one to one) and 94,60% (small group). And the results of the overall student questionnaire responses obtained a percentage of 92,63%. Thus it can be concluded that the development of Educandy-based media is declared valid and practical.

Abstract

Writing skills are an ability possessed by a person and a way or activity where the writer can convey and express ideas, thoughts, which the writer will convey through typed or written writing directly, so that the reader can know the intent and purpose of the written sentence. This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by Big Book media on creative pantun writing skills. The method used is an experimental research method (quantitative method) with a true-experimental design in the form of a posttest only control design. There are two variables, namely variable X (Think Talk Write Model Assisted by Big Book Media) and variable Y (Pantun Writing Skills). The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 101 Palembang, totaling 56 students. The data collection technique used an essay test. The instrument for measuring creative pantun writing skills used a Posttest in the form of essay test questions. The data analysis technique used the t-test (independent sample t-test) after the normality and homogeneity tests were carried out. The average value of the control class posttest was 58,50 and the experimental class posttest was 73,07 with a 2-tailed sig value of 0,025 < 0.050, so there is an influence of the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by Big Book media on the creative writing skills of pantun of class V students of SD Negeri 101 Palembang.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to produce a POE (Predict Observe Explain) video product model for writing narratives for grade III students of SD Negeri 2 Sirah Pulau Padang that was valid and practical. This researcher used the ADDIE model which went through 5 stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the validity analysis that the researcher obtained in the validation activity of the POE (predict observe explain) video learning media model, which were obtained from the three experts, namely media experts, material experts, and language experts, the researcher got a percentage value of 90.5%, including the valid criteria. While the practicality of the media based on the results of the student response questionnaire from the one-to-one individual test, small group media test, and field test got an average value of 97.3%, including the very practical criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of the POE (Predict observe explain) video learning media model is declared valid and practical and can be used in subsequent learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan: 1) Pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, 2) pengaruh servant leadership terhadap kinerja guru, 3) Pengaruh kompetensi manajerial dan servant leadership terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bukit Kecil Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 138 guru, dengan teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana dan linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan servant leadership terhadap kinerja guru; 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi manajerial dan servant leadership secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bukit Kecil Kota Palembang. Hal ini terlihat dari uji F yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,005. Besar pengaruh kompetensi manajerial dan servant leadership secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bukit Kecil Kota Palembang sebesar 37,8% sisanya 62,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Untuk mengetahui (1) Faktor pendukung supervisi akademik dengan teknik coaching dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SD Negeri 158 Palembang (2) Mengetahui pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dengan teknik coaching dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SD Negeri 158 Palembang dan (3) Untuk mengetahui evaluasi supervisi akademik dengan teknik coaching dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SD Negeri 158 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif, pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara terhadap nara sumber, observasi pada tempat penelitian dan dokumentasi terhadap data yang di temukan di lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) faktor pendukung supervise akademika yakni dukungan dari kelapa sekolah dan rekan sejawat dalam memberikan motivasi ekstrinsik kepada guru, ketersediaan fasilitas sekolah sebagai aset penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, kepercayaan diri seorang guru dalam menghadapi tantangan dan semangat untuk terus berkembang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman, serta peran peserta didik yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan kompetensi guru khususnya kompetensi profesional guru. (2) Pelaksanaan supervise akademik meliputi tahapan Perencanaan, Pelaksanaandan Tindak Lanjut, supervisi akademik membantu guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan mengajar, menyesuaikan kurikulum, dan menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. (3) Evaluasi pelaksanaan supervise akademik dengan memberikan umpan balik yang membangun, mengadakan pelatihan bagi guru, memanfaatkan teknologi. Selain itu, guru lebih terinovasi untuk terus belajar dan berkembang dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerjanya agar menjadi guru professional dan untuk kemajuan SD Negeri 158 palembang.

Abstract

This study was prompted by the low short story writing skills observed among students at Sriwijaya State Sports Senior High School. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of applying the Problem-Based Learning method integrated with Wattpad as a learning medium on improving students' short story writing skills. A quasi-experimental approach was employed using a pre-test–post-test control group design. The sample consisted of 46 eleventh-grade students selected randomly, with 31 assigned to the control group (conventional learning) and 15 to the experimental group (PBL-Wattpad). Data were collected through short story writing tests administered before and after the intervention, and were analyzed using paired t-tests and independent t-tests at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated an average score improvement of 26 points in the experimental group (from 57 to 83), which was higher than the control group’s gain of 11 points (from 50 to 61). The Paired Sample t-Test and Independent Sample T-Test yielded p-values < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference. The improvement encompassed aspects of creativity, plot development, structure, and language use. These findings demonstrate that the integration of Problem Based Learning and Wattpad is effective in enhancing students’ short story writing skills by fostering a contextual and collaborative learning environment, while also offering authentic feedback from readers. Practically, Indonesian language teachers are encouraged to adopt this strategy to promote both creative and digital literacy at the high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the ability of fourth grade students of SDN 24 Sembawa to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories through the application of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model with a student centered approach; (2) Determine the percentage increase in the ability to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories of fourth grade students of SDN 24 Sembawa through the application of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model with a student centered approach. This type of research is an action research carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. This research was conducted in fourth grade students of SDN 24 Sembawa, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out through test activities. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Through the application of the inside outside circle (IOC) learning model with a student centered approach, the ability of fourth grade students of SDN 24 Sembawa to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories can be improved; (2) The percentage increase in the ability of fourth grade students of SDN 24 Sembawa to identify the intrinsic elements of short stories from cycle I to cycle II is 5.92%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) To determine the increase in the ability to write creative short stories of class V students of SDN 4 Banyuasin III through the application of the concept learning model with Canva media; (2) To determine the percentage of increase in the ability to write creative stories of class V students of SDN 4 Banyuasin III through the application of the concept learning model with Canva media . This type of research is action research which is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. This research was conducted in class V of SDN 4 Banyuasin III, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection technique conducted through test activities. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Through the application of the Concept Learning learning model with Canva Media, the ability of class V students of SDN 4 Banyuasin III to write creative short stories can be improved; (2) The percentage increase in the ability of class V students of SDN 4 Banyuasin III to write creative short stories from cycle I to cycle II is 12.55%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational citizenship behavior and professional competence on teacher performance at State Senior High Schools in Rayon 3, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research method used is quantitative. The sample in this study amounted to 60 teachers selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results showed that organizational citizenship behavior had a significant effect on teacher performance, indicated by a t-value of 5.323> t-table 2.001 with a correlation coefficient of 0.573 (fairly strong relationship category), and an influence contribution of 32.8%. Professional competence also had a significant effect on teacher performance, with a t-value of 7.749> t-table 2.001, a correlation coefficient of 0.713 (strong relationship category), and an influence contribution of 50.9%. Simultaneously, organizational citizenship behavior and professional competence have a significant effect on teacher performance, as indicated by the Fcount value of 30.085 > Ftable 3.159, with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.717 and a determination coefficient of 0.514 or 51.4%. Thus, increasing organizational citizenship behavior and professional competence together can significantly improve teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Empowerment Leadership and Adversity Quotient on the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Mesuji District. This study was conducted on Junior High School teachers in Mesuji District. The sample size taken was 84 teacher samples. The sampling technique in this study used the probability sampling technique, where the respondents taken were some of the teachers. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 80 statement items. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that 1). Empowerment Leadership and Adversity Quotient simultaneously have a significant effect on the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Mesuji District 2) Empowerment Leadership partially has a significant effect on the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Mesuji District 3) Teacher Adversity Quotient partially has a significant effect on the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Mesuji District
