Abstract

Ada asumsi-asumsi mengapa para mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa. Padahal jelas, sebagai mahasiswa bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, semestinya mereka hirau dengan bahasa yang mereka gunakan dan meminimalkan kesalahan-kesalahan berbahasa. Pertama, mereka kurang peduli terhadap bahasa yang benar sekedar menganggap bahwa bahasa yang benar adalah bahasa yang semata-mata dapat dipahami oleh para pembaca. Kedua, mereka tidak memiliki motivasi untuk mempelajari penggunaan bahasa secara benar, sehingga mereka tidak memedulikan pemahaman dan pengejawantahan yang menyeluruh terhadap bahasa Indonesia. Ketiga, para mahasiswa kurang menguasai teknik berbahasa Indonesia yang benar, baik ditinjau dari tata bahasa, EYD, logoka bahasa, dan lainnya. Rumsan masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi; 1) bagaimanakah langkah-langkah penerapan pembelajaran mata kuliah sintaksis berbasis lesson study di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia?, 2) bagaimanakah kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia STKIP Siliwangi Bandung?, bagaimanakah penguasaan kaidah bahasa Indonesia pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia STKIP Siliwangi Bandung? Dari hasil analisis kesalahan berbahasa didapat kesimpulan bahwa, dari empat aspek yaitu ejaan, kata, frasa, dan kalimat, kemampuan yang kurang dimiliki mahasiswa terutama dari sisi penguasaan penggunaan kata dengan (68) kesalahan. Bandingkan dengan kesalahan ejaan (37), frasa (15), dan kalimat (33). Dari penguasaan kaidah, mahasiswa prodi bahasa dan sastra Indonesia memiliki kekurangan terbesar terutama dari penguasaan penggunaan kata. Hal ini merefleksikan bahwa penggunaan kata-kata yang tidak benar sudah digunakan secara masif, bahkan oleh mahasiswa bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Bila bahasa adalah kebiasaan, maka solusi yang paling memungkinkan adalah perlu adanya contoh dari para dosen dan pembiasaan mahasiswa untuk meminimalkan penggunaan kata-kata yang tidak benar.

Abstract

Language skills have four skills, namely listening, reading, writing and speaking. The students 'diverse abilities in material capture during the learning process, make educators have to be able to set methods that are suitable for students' abilities. In addition to the selection of methods, the lack of desire of students during poetry learning is due to a lack of vocabulary that makes it difficult for students to put their ideas into writing. By creating poetry texts students can actually help increase vocabulary and sensitivity. For this reason, through routine education and writing practice, it can help students increase their vocabulary. Writing poetry can be done according to students' varied abilities. With the VAK method (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) students can appreciate their poetry with the same understanding through their respective abilities. This study uses the pre-experimental design method. The pre-experimental design research design applied is a one-group pretest-posttest design. This design consists of one class to measure students' abilities before and after being given treatment. From the results of data analysis on the ability to write poetry texts from the scores of students' knowledge and skills in writing poetry, it was concluded that students of class X IT Development Vocational School were able to make poetry texts better by learning using the VAK method can be seen from the average results before using the VAK method (65.04) and the average after using the VAK method (77.36) which has been tested for normality, homogeneity, and significant differences

Abstract

This research contained about the analysis intrinsic element and moral values of short stories “Burung Senja” by Wilson Nadeak. Researchers chose a short story entitled “Burung Senja”. First, it has the value of life that can be used as an model by readers, such as the affection of children to parents, and loyalty to the couple life. Second, this short story has a complex storyline, diction and imagination of stories look realistic. Third, short story author is one of the man of letters figure from Indonesian, but not many people who know their works, so that the author wants to lift this short story through the research analysis. The aim of this research was to explain intrinsic element and moral values of short stories by Wilson Nadeak. The method in this research is the qualitative descriptive. Data in used as a source on this research is, one of the essays short stories by Wilson Nadeak’s published in a ”Mata yang Indah; Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2001”. Based on the analysis shows if there are elements integrity foundation of a short story as works of literature prose, is: themes, grooves, figures and cement fors, the background/setting, the point of view of storytelling and mandate. Apart from that, researchers found moral values described by figures in a short story such as: loyalty, togetherness, love feeling and patience.

Abstract

This research discusses the problems of Code Switching and Code Mixing that occur in the speech title speech in Ini Talk Show. The purpose of this research was to describe the form of Code Switching and Code Mixing performed by speakers at the event. The method used by Researchers in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. In this Research, The role of The researcher is an instrument and data collector. The data collection technique is done by observing, listening, and taking notes. The results of the research found that code-switching and code-mixing were carried out by speakers at the event. Researchers found the Switching of Codes Internal from Indonesian into Sundanese. Switching of Codes External from Indonesian into English, English into Indonesian, Indonesian into Arabic, and from English into Javanese. Whereas Mix code researchers found in the form of words, phrases, baster, and clause. Factors that cause Code Switching are motivated by speakers, interlocutors, the presence of a third person, and to generate a sense of humor. Meanwhile, code-mixing is motivated by the language of the speaker and interlocutor, and tries to interpret or explain.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) to analyze the values contained in the text of the descriptions in the indonesian textbook revision of 2017 high school students/ MTs. 2) the implication of the character  value in the description text for the learner. This type of reseacrh a qualitative description. Population text analysis of this description are  examples of  descriptive text contained in the book “bahasa indonesia SMP/MTs”. Text contained in the book of 6 texts. Among others “beautiful parangkritis, my father, my inspiration mother, my rabbit bagel, the fascinating beach charm and the gigantion of colossal dance performances”. Data collections technique is done by reading technique. Are done by identifying data, classifiying data, and describing data. The results of the reseach note that the text of the descriptions contained in the book bahasa indonesia SMP/MTs three are 6 descriptions text containing 12 values of characters such as religious, pround, patient, quiet, exemplary, friendly,soft, persistent, good, spoiled, interesting, preservation and emotional. The   value of the character impacts (1) fosters the positive character that is embedded in them, (2) cultivate a sense of pride in the country, (3) cultivate a sense of empathy, (4) enhance hisreligious nature the creator, (5)  active in studying.  Keywords: description text, Character Value

Abstract

Text Writing Learning Procedures using Contextual Teaching and Learning Method in Class X Student Cimahi. Writing is one of the aspects of language skills. In daily activities, we experience writing activities. Writing means the process of pouring ideas through writing, so the more we write, the more our thoughts are contained in them. The learning method was chosen in this research as the solution is by using CTL method. Contextual Teaching and Learning is a learning helps teachers connections between materials taught to real-world situations and encourages. Problems encountered in this research is how the implementation of learning and the results of writing the text of the procedure by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning method. The population amounted to 31 students. From the test results, there is an increase in the value of students before and after using the method of learning. From the initial test the average score of 52,15 students. While in the final test that has been using the method of learning, the average student score of 75,9. If the teacher uses the learning model using CTL method then the students can write the text of the procedure will increase.

Abstract

Researchers choose the title aims to examine the value that contained in the “Negeri 5 Menara” movie directed by Affandi Abdul Rachman, given from Ahmad Fuadi’s novel and made by Million Picture. This research aims to describe the religious values that contained in the movie. This study applied descriptive qualitative method and discourse analysis method model Van Djik. “Negeri 5 Menara” movie has a religious value that exemplary by the readers. The result shows that the values can be made as motivation for the readers in daily life such as sincere, patient, gratitude, forgiving, relationship, dutiful to parent, and hard work in studying.

Abstract

Learning innovation in today's curriculum plays a vital role for more creative learning. One of the tools of innovation is through an approach or learning strategy. One of them is the application of a scientific approach which requires students to be active, critical and communicative. Thus, how does scientific approach work in text description at SMPN 3 Maja. The goal in this research is to analyze the achievement of success in implementing learning innovation, which is with scientific approach in text description at SMPN 3 Maja. The method for knowing the success of implement this innovation is descriptive qualitative by analyzing after learning with a scientific approach in the description text. Indonesian is a study that requires student to study many texts, one of which is a description text. The application of scientific approach to Indonesian study in the description text at SMPN 3 Maja after analyzing is difficult to apply because the student’s character that still belongs to the teacher, lacking the breeding of active and critical learning making a student has a strong passive character and tend to be difficult for self-study, and for introver student makes application of scientific approach not communicative. Therefore, scientific approach can be applied if the active character of student plays a role. The importance  of applying scientific approach support effectiveness in participation of student activation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the writing ability of class XI students in learning to write text procedures by applying the Guide Note Taking method. Based on the observations of researchers during the research in class XI, students encounter difficulties in writing procedure texts. In learning writing skills, teachers should use many variations of teaching. One method that can be used as a learning variation is Guide Note Taking. This study uses quasi-experimental research methods, namely quasi-experimental research methods that aim to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The data source for the XI grade students in even semester 2018/2019 uses the initial test question sheet, and the final test question sheet. Based on the results of the study of data processing the ability to write text procedures before using the Guide Note Taking method, the initial test (pretest) value of 55.49 after using the Guide Note Taking method obtained the final test score (posttest) of 75.29 . The results of writing ability increased by 19.80. So the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of the Guide Note Taking method to learning procedure text writing has been able to improve the results of student learning.

Abstract

Karya sastra bukan hanya sebuah bentuk karya yang mengandung keindahan namun karya sastra juga  mengandung makna di dalamnya. Puisi merupakan karya sastra yang bersifat imajinatif, dirangkai dengan kata yang estetis dan sederhana namun tidak mudah dipahami oleh para pembaca terlebih tanpa ilmu dalam menganalisis puisi. Seringali makna puisi dianalogikan ke dalam objek lain sehingga makna puisi tersembunyi dibalik eloknya kata. Puisi dapat menjadi motivasi bagi para pembaca terlebih untuk pencinta menulis. Penulis tertarik untuk menganalisis puisi “Senja Di Pelabuhan Kecil” karya Chairil anwar, karena puisi tersebut dibentuk dengan tatanan bahasa yang sederhana namun maknanya luas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui makna dalam puisi karya Chairil Anwar serta untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman penulis terhadap pendekatan mimetik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang mengkaji kemudian mendreskripsikan makna dari puisi “Senja Di Pelabuhan Kecil” karya Chairil Anwar dengan kajian mimetik. Pendekatan mimetik yaitu suatu pendekatan kritik sastra pada tiruan alam. Berdasarkan hasil anlisis dari puisi “Senja Di Pelabuhan Kecil” maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa puisi ini mengandung makna kesedihan tentang kehilangan dan pelajaran yang diambil dari puisi ini yaitu sebagai manusia kita harus tetap ikhlas atas semua takdir karena di dunia ini tidak ada yang abadi.
