Abstract

Kondisi geografis Kelurahan Sungai Pisang yang terletak di pinggiran pantai dan tidak terlalu jauh dari potensi wisata pulau yang terkenal di Sumatera Barat menjadi peluang bagi masyarakat Sungai Pisang khususnya nelayan biduk untuk meningkatan taraf hidupnya. Namun kenyataannya, pihak luar yang berada di daerah Bungus justru yang lebih memanfaatkan peluang tersebut karena lokasinya yang dekat dengan pusat kota. Wisatawan yang ramai hanya bisa dilihat dari jauh oleh nelayan biduk Sungai Pisang ini. Kebanyakan wisatawan lebih memilih untuk menggunakan jasa Tour and Travel dari Bungus. Nelayan biduk hanya membawa sedikit wisatawan saja menuju wisata pulau walaupun harga yang ditawarkan jauh lebih murah. Berdasarkan analisis situasi, permasalahan tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan nelayan biduk tentang strategi pemasaran produk yang efektif. Selain itu, biduk yang digunakan masih sangat sederhana, belum memperhatikan aspek keselamatan dan kenyamanan penupang. Sejauh ini belum adanya sarana pemasaran produk untuk mempromosikan jasa transportasi biduk wisata pulau dari nelayan biduk di Sungai Pisang secara luas. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan penjelasan kepada nelayan biduk mengenai strategi pemasaran produk yang efektif untuk meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan pengguna biduk wisata pulau, merancang desain biduk yang menarik dan melengkapi biduk dengan fasilitas keselamatan dan kenyamanan penumpang untuk meningkatkan kepuasan wisatawan terhadap jasa transportasi biduk, merancang dan membuat media promosi berupa website pemasaran biduk yang dihubungkan dengan berbagai media sosial untuk memperkenalkan secara luas biduk wisata pulau di Sungai Pisang, dan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada nelayan biduk dalam menggunakan dan mengelola website sehingga dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Nowadays, consumers are getting smarter in choosing products, including food products. Food safety is an important thing that must be considered by the food industry. Unsafe food production can only be done because of food, product needs, lengthy legal process, but can also damage the community. Customer needs demand certainty from the food provided in a way that meets food safety standards, from the garden to the table. To fulfill this reason, all parties involved in the food production process must know and understand well matters related to food procurement standards for the products produced. Rendang is one of the traditional foods of West Sumatra that has begun worldwide. This requires the need to produce rendang with food safety standards is very important. Based on this, within the framework of the Community Service Department of Industrial Engineering UNAND conducts training / technical guidance related to the rendang food procurement standards with training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This activity was expected to help Small and Medium Enterprises to get business standardization.

Abstract

In the past decade, the ports served as a node in a network of transportation, trade and global supply chain. Their roles are becoming increasingly important. Their important role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of transport has been recognized, as well as in realizing the connectivity and competitiveness of a country. In addition, their most important role is to develop and grow national economy. This study is aimed at analyzing the relationship between the performance of the ports and the country's economic growth by having the function of mediation by supply chain connectivity. Tanjung Priok Port as the main port in Indonesia is chosen as a case study. Port performance is measured by eight indicators, while the supply chain connectivity measured by seven indicators, and national economic growth measured by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) constructs. Linear regression analysis is used to identify the relationships developed based on three hypotheses. The study concludes that the increase of port performance has no direct effect on the countrys economic growth, but this increase affects the supply chain connectivity directly. The analysis also shows that the supply chain connectivity affects the relationship between port performance and countrys economic growth. The importance of the port for the countrys economic growth needs to be addressed with improved port performance and connectivity between ports, and it certainly demands hard efforts from the port authorities and other stakeholders.

Abstract

Kualitas (Quality) adalah tingkat baik atau buruknya suatu produk yang dihasilkan apakah sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan ataupun kesesuaiannya terhadap kebutuhan. Produktivitas pada dasarnya adalah mengukur efisiensi dari kegiatan Produksi. Pada Februari hingga Agustus 2019 saat dilakukan tes radiografi (Radiography Test) yang berguna untuk memastikan hasil pengelasan. Begitu banyak cacat pengelasannya antara 42% hingga 75% per sistem injeksi kimia. Dalam hal pengendalian kualitas telah banyak metode-metode yang bisa dipakai. Pada kesempatan ini penulis mengambil metode seven tools dan PDCA (Plan Do Check Action). Metode seven tools ini sudah terbukti dapat memberikan pemonitoran, pemantauan dari suatu proses yang berbentuk peta kendali, sedangkan metode PDCA sudah terbukti penciptaan kestabilan dan peningkatan secara continue. Pengurangan cacat pengelasan dilakukan melalui Metode: pemilihan material berkualitas, Manusia : melalui pelatihan dan pengawasan yang ketat, Proses : adanya SOP dan briefing berkala, Mesin : perawatan berkala, dan Lingkungan : perbaikan fasilitas.

Abstract

Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat merupakan tantangan bagi sistem kerja di industri yang semakin canggih. Salah satu bagian vital dalam industri terutama di pembangkit listrik tenaga uap yang banyak menggunakan medium air adalah pengukuran ketinggian air baik itu pada boiler, blowdown tank, flash tank, deareator maupun water treatment plant (WTP). Alat yang mempunyai peran penting sebagai pengukur ketinggian air secara terus menerus agar bisa diamati/dikontrol secara real time adalah transmitter pengukur ketinggian air (level transmitter). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui cara kalibrasi Differential Pressure Transmitter Level (DP Transmitter Level) dengan menggunakan Hart Communicator, dan mengetahui kehandalan alat DP Transmitter Level setelah kalibrasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan perbandingan secara langsung antara nilai pengukuran persentase ketinggian air (mm) dan persentase nilai arus output (mA) secara teori dengan nilai pengukuran yang dihasilkan alat ukur Hart Communicator. Kemudian nilai yang dihasilkan dari setiap pengukuran menunjukan adanya beberapa kecenderungan error pembacaan dari transmitter level terhadap nilai standar yang telah ditentukan. Setelah dilakukan kalibrasi dengan melakukan pengukuran dengan membandingkan nilai perhitungan secara teori maka diperoleh persentase nilai kesalahan (error) untuk nilai arus output (mA) yang dihasilkan adalah 0,148% dan persentase kesalahan untuk ketinggian air adalah 1,04 % (mm). Nilai persentase kesalahan ini masih dibawah standar yang diijinkan oleh pihak perusahaan yaitu sebesar 2%.

Abstract

I2C sebenarnya terdiri dari perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan protokol, sedangkan I2C membuat segalanya lebih sederhana, efisien, efektif, kompak, dan ekonomis, awalnya untuk mengendalikan tugas yang menggunakan banyak jalur seperti Data 8-bit dan Alamat 16-bit dalam sistem Mikroprosesor akan menggunakan minimal 24 kabel, jalur atau track PCB, sekarang dengan I2C cukup hanya memiliki 2 kabel, dimana satu kabel disebut SDA (Serial Data Address) dan satu kabel lainnya disebut SCL (Serial Clock) Bus. I2C ditemukan oleh Philips Semiconductors pada awal tahun 80-an, tetapi sekarang beberapa perusahaan semikonduktor seperti Xicor, SGS-Thomson, Siemens, Intel, Texas Instrument, Maxim, Amtel dan Analog Devices sudah mengadopsi nya. Artikel ini menjelaskan cara membuat perintah Protokol I2C menggunakan LabVIEW melalui Ekspansi Kartu Personal Computer (PC). Ada dua hal yang akan dijelaskan mengenai pembangkitan I2C, yang pertama adalah Protocol I2C dan yang terakhir adalah cara membangkitkannya menggunakan software LabView.

Abstract

The Planned maintenance activities can make the production process run smoothly. The object of the research was pump machine with three phase. Based on obsevations, pumps often experience damage to critical components. This study aims to implement preventive maintenance on pump. The advantage of using preventive maintenance can determine the optimal type of maintence and maintenance time intervals for each critical component. The research stages include determining the probability density function (pdf) and reliability, determining the maintenance interval for critical component using the downtime minimization criteria that will be used to schedule maintenance  and determining the cost of corrective and preventive for each critical component. The result of the application of preventive maintenance, there were three component  that experienced a decrease in maintenance costs, namely the electromotor component experiencing a 23,7% cost reduction with a 52% reliability level, the radial bearing component experiencing  a cost reduction by 24% with a reliability level of 66,64% and the impeller component experiencing a decrease 19,5% cost with a 69% reliability rate. While the maintenance time interval for the electromotor component is 142,4 hours, the radial bearing component is 153,5 hours and the impeller component is 168,8 hours.

Abstract

In the infrastructure development process, project control is required with the aim of minimizing all deviations during the development process. In project control, all activities are regulated so that they function optimally, so that implementation is on time according to the time schedule and produces work according to planning. The type and type used in this research is Descriptive Qualitative, namely research using a case study method or approach. This research focuses intensively on one particular object and studies it as a case. In the paving park construction activities of the Mukomuko Regency Public Housing and Settlement Area Service, the role of the technical manager is very important, especially in controlling time, quality, costs and security and safety in work, this is very necessary so that the development objectives are achieved.

Abstract

The electric power distribution system will change very quickly along with the growth of the load which tends to increase every year. The increase of electricity demand must be anticipated with the addition of the number of generating plants that will integrate to the system in order to carry out continuous and optimal system operations. Before adding new generators to the system, a feasibility study will be conducted to provide optimal results using simulation of power flow studies. The connection of the Bayang Nyalo Hydro Power (BNHP) to the medium voltage 20 kV electricity system of the PLN with several operating scenarios provide significant results. The most optimal results have been obtained with scenario 2-2, which the operating voltage changed from 0.80 pu to 0.95 pu and power losses decreased from 2.04 MW to 1.67 MW. This provides a recommendation that the operating scheme of scenario 2-2 should be applied when the Bayang Nyalo Power Plant connects the PLN 20 kV system because this scenario does not require additional new investment from PLN.

Abstract

In the face of the Revolution industry 4.0, global connection, artificial intelligence, and automation have disrupted technology. This made the industrial world's development in work competition, not linear and even created new jobs. Digital talent and innovation are needed to face the world of work. This study discusses the construct effect between digital talent, individual innovation behavior, and Skills Revolution Industry 4.0, and the effect of Skills Revolution Industry 4.0) as a mediator to digital talent constructs' relationship. Data collection is obtained directly (face to face). Samples were previously clustered by sampling technique. Questionnaires use the Likert Scale. Then, the data gotten were processed by SEM-PLS with Software 3.8.2. The result showed that digital talent has a positive effect on individual innovation behavior. This meant that skill of revolution industry 4.0 as a construct mediator was successful. The stronger digital talent influences, the stronger individual innovation behavior influences, and it is accelerated with revolution industry skills 4. This study proposes a model to build mastery of digital talent and individual innovation behavior of Universitas Andalas students through the mastery of skills of revolution 4.0 as a mediator. This research can pave the way to improve students' readiness in facing the world of revolution 4.0, one of which is in the field of digital innovation.
