Abstract

Da'wah is often synonymous with speaking on the stand by facing the crowd and conveying messages of kindness. But, as the development of mass media, da'wah is not a product that is always delivered on the stand. The mass media is part of the innovation of delivering messages of da'wah. The existence of mass media provides a new atmosphere for the delivery of messages that are more dynamic and flexible, of course, keep up with the times. The use of mass media as a means of contemporary da'wah is increasingly providing great opportunities to all levels of society who want to invite and convey goodness which in this case is preaching activities. A person can convey messages of goodness through writing (qalam), oral and behavior or actions (things) with audio visual recordings on online media and social media such as Instragram, Facebook, You Tube, short films, radio, TV and so on. The number of users of diverse social media is a sign that preaching must evolve into an activity that invites goodness with a more innovative and creative appeal. So that the public or mad'u will choose what media will be used in receiving messages from da'i. Even so, the use of mass media as a means of propaganda is not easy. There are many things that need to be considered by the perpetrators of propaganda so that the propaganda that is done can go well and achieve its goals. Good management is needed in preparing content that is wrapped in an attractive manner so that people are not bored with the way of delivering da'wah and its contents are almost the same. Da'i are required to be extra active, innovative and creative in preaching on social media, clever in choosing the media to be used, and proficient in the use of existing technology and understanding the condition of mad'u as an object of preaching that will receive propaganda messages through response to changing patterns thought and behavior. Keywords: Da'wah, Mass Media, Contemporary, Da'i, Mad'u, Means. Dakwah, sering kali identik dengan berbicara di atas mimbar dengan menghadapi orang banyak dan menyampaikan pesan-pesan kebaikan. Namun seiring perkembangan media massa, dakwah bukanlah produk yang selalu disampaikan di atas mimbar. Media massa menjadi bagian dari inovasi penyampaian pesan-pesan dakwah. Keberadaan media massa memberikan suasana baru terhadap penyampaian pesan-pesan dakwah yang lebih dinamis dan fleksibel, tentunya mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Penggunaan media massa sebagai sarana dakwah kontemporer semakin memberikan peluang yang besar kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang ingin mengajak dan menyampaikan kebaikan yang dalam hal ini adalah kegiatan dakwah. Seseorang dapat menyampaikan pesan-pesan kebaikan melalui tulisan (kalam), lisan dan perilaku atau perbuatan (hal) dengan rekaman audio visual di media online dan media sosial seperti Instragram, Facebook, You Tube, film pendek, tv radio dan sebagainya. Banyaknya pengguna media sosial yang beragam menjadi tanda bahwa dakwah haruslah berevolusi menjadi sebuah kegiatan yang mengajak pada kebaikan dengan daya tarik yang lebih inovatif dan kreatif. Sehingga dengan begitu masyarakat atau mad’u akan memilih media apa yang akan digunakan dalam menerima pesan-pesan dakwah dari da’i.Meski begitu, penggunaan media massa sebagai sarana dakwah tidaklah mudah. Ada banyak hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh para pelaku dakwah agar dakwah yang dilakukan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan mencapai tujuannya. Dibutuhkan manajemen yang baik dalam mempersiapkan konten-konten yang dibungkus secara menarik sehingga masyarakat tidak bosan dengan cara penyampaian dakwah dan isinya yang hampir sama. Da’i dituntut ekstra aktif, inovatif dan kreatif dalam melakukan dakwah di media sosial, pandai dalam memilih media yang akan digunakan, dan cakap dalam penggunaan teknologi yamg ada serta memahami kondisi mad’u sebagai objek dakwah yang akan menerima pesan dakwah melalui respon perubahan pola pikir dan perilaku. Abstract

This research aims to explore the management of IAIN organizations Bone in disseminating information about the campus. Management needed to achieve goals in a measured manner so that they are not original just do it. But there is a map to reach the destination. These stages include planning, organizing, implementing and supervision. Need to dig deeper about management IAIN Bone organization in information disclosure to the public. This study uses a qualitative method. Research data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Primary data taken from selected informants to explore organizational management in disseminating information about the campus. While the data secondary to previous literature-relevant literatures this research. The data is presented in descriptive analysis. Data collected was analyzed by reducing the data, then present it and finally draw conclusions. Research result shows that Planning for dissemination of IAIN Bone information carried out in a careful and gradual manner namely with editorial planning, design and working time and dissemination information. Organizing is done by dividing the work desk and duties to every human resource in it according to the potential and competence possessed. Implementation disseminating information in several media owned. In Among them are Instagram @ iainbone_ and Facebook fanpage with an account IAIN Bone and website with the address www.iain-bone.ac.id. Supervision conducted to evaluate the results of the performance that has been done. The goal is to improve information service systems to Public.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the pettern of communication between Coaches and students in disciplining the memorization of the Qir’an at the Baitul Al-Muqarramah Foundation in Bone Regency. Qualitative research methods are used in this research by conducting interviews.  Interviews wew conducted with informants who were Coaches at the Baitul Al-Muqarramah Foundation in Bone Regency. The results showed the Coaches in the Baitul Al-Muqarramah Foundation used verbal and nonverbal communication. There are two communication petterns that are used there are also two namely interpersonal communication petterns and group communication petterns. The petterns of group communication is more dominant used in this foundation, while interpernonal communication is usually applied to students who are less optimal in directing group communication. Where the pettern of group communication is more dominant applied in the process of direction every day. As with interpersonal communication, this communication pettern is usually applied to a particular situation. For axample, there is one student who cannot be fostered if trough the communication petterns of the group. Proven trought group communication implemented by the Coach, able to discipline student to memorize the Qur’an and make student achieve targets that have been determined with a dominant scale. Even trought this group communication, the time of a Coach can be more efficient than interpersonal communication which requires the trainer to meet one-onone with his students. The obstacle factors of the Coaches are so unable to discipline the memorization of the Qur’an by their students namely; first, the psychological factors and habit factor od the students.

Abstract

 AbstractInfotainment news about artists that air on television is always unique and interesting to watch. This is caused by conflicts displayed on the television screen. To still be able to exist, celebrities carry out a strategy by creating a variety of controversial and behavioral behaviors which are then widely covered and broadcast by infotainment on television. The conflict news program carried out by these celebrities contained codes for each event. So this study tries to find out how the analysis of public receptions on the contents of messages in the reporting of celebrity conflicts in infotainment. This study uses a reception analysis method by conducting interviews with informants who have met certain criteria. The theory used is the Encoding-Decoding Theory by Stuart Hall. The results show that there are 3 reception categories in celebrity conflict news on the audience. Four people in the Dominant Hegemonic category, one in the Negotiated category, and one in the Oppositional category. Keywords: News, Celebrities, Infotainment, Reception Analysis, Encoding-Decoding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali etika-etika yang seharusnya diterapkan dalam diskusi agar diskusi dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa melahirkan konflik yang terjadi antarpihak yang berdiskusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deksriptif, di mana data-datanya diambil melalui riset kepustakaan yang sesuai dengan pembahasan kajian. Data primer diambil dari literatur sedangkan sumber data sekunder diambil dari dokumen-dokumen pendukung. Hasil kajian ini mengungkapkan bahwa memilih perkataan yang baik sesungguhnya menjadi bagian dari upaya kita untuk menghargai orang lain dan diri kita sendiri. Artinya orang lain ketika berkomunikasi dengan kita juga akan mampu menghargai ketika kita juga menghargai mereka. Seringkali manusia tidak dihargai karena dirinya sendiri tidak mampu menghargai orang lain. Islam mengajarkan untuk berdiskusi dengan memberi manfaat, menggunakan kalimat yang baik dan sopan, bersikap lemah lembut, dengan melalui diskusi dengan penuh hati-hati dan tenang serta mengutamakan untuk menahan amarah dan berlapang dada menerima pendapat orang lain. Dalam proses diskusi sebaiknya dimuat dalam forum yang harmoni, berusaha memberikan argumentasi yang berorientasi pada kebenaran dan menciptakan suasana yang santai dan nyaman. Hal terpenting adalah bagaimana forum diskusi tersebut berjalan dengan penuh sikap saling menghargai tanpa memperlihatkan keegoisan pribadi.

Abstract

Television is not only a means of information but also influences the audience based on views, attitudes and norms. This study discusses the Islamic moral messages in the soap opera "Buku Harian Seorang Istri (Diary of a Wife)" on SCTV to find out the meaning of denotations, connotations, myths and provide an understanding of the moral messages contained in the soap opera. This study uses a type of qualitative research, with a library approach and Roland Barthes semiotic analysis. Furthermore, the data sources used are primary and secondary data with documentation data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of denotation in the soap opera "Buku Harian Seorang Istri" provides an overview of the dynamics of household life. The connotative meaning of the soap opera scene conveys the meaning that household life is a responsibility that must be carried out by both parties which must complement each other. The meaning of myth in this soap opera contains messages related to morality. This morality is related to human relations with other humans in the social sphere. This study contributes to strengthening moral values in media works (soap operas) as the basis for the development of a moral society. ***Televisi tidak hanya sebagai sarana informasi tetapi juga mempengaruhi khalayak berdasarkan pandangan, sikap, dan norma. Penelitian ini membahas pesan moral dalam sinetron “Buku Harian Seorang Istri” di SCTV untuk mengetahui makna denotasi, konotasi, mitos dan memberikan pemahaman pesan moral yang terdapat dalam sinetron tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan kepustakaan dan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Selanjutnya sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna denotasi dalam sinetron “Buku Harian Seorang Istri” memberikan gambaran tentang dinamika kehidupan rumah tangga. Makna konotatif dari adegan sinetron tersebut memberikan makna bahwa kehidupan rumah tangga merupakan tanggung jawab yang harus dilakukan oleh kedua belah pihak yang harus saling melengkapi. Makna mitos dalam sinetron ini mengandung pesan yang berkaitan dengan moralitas. Moralitas ini berkaitan dengan hubungan manusia dengan manusia lainnya dalam lingkup sosial. Studi ini berkontribusi bagi penguatan nilai moral dalam karya media (sinetron) sebagai basis pengembangan masyarakat yang bermoral.

Abstract

Orientasi jurnalisme dakwah harus lebih mengedepankan perbaikan kualitas dunia pers dibandingkan dengan keuntungan media semata. Jurnalisme dakwah menjadi inovasi terbaru dunia jurnalistik yang jauh dari penyimpangan-penyimpangan atas relasi yang terjalin dengan para pejabat. Tindakan korupsi menjadi salah satu penyimpangan yang menjadi perhatian penuh masyarakat karena dampak yang sangat merugikan bagi bangsa dan negara. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengangkat masalah mengenai konsep jurnalis dalam mencegah tindak korupsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian kepustakaan dengan mengkaji literatur-literatur yang dikumpulkan mengenai ilmu jurnalistik dan tindak korupsi yang diintegrasikan dengan ilmu dakwah. Kemudian dianalsis dengan konklusi data terlebih dahulu, kemudian display data dan gambaran kesimpulan. Hasil yang ditemukan mengungkapkan bahwa jurnalisme dakwah harus dapat berkontribusi dalam mencegah tindak korupsi melalui keterampilan kejurnalistikan yang diintegrasikan dengan konsep-konsep dakwah. Jurnalis dakwah yang dimaksud bukanlah berarti jurnalis yang beragama Islam tetapi jurnalis yang mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai dakwah dalam kegiatan jurnalistik yang dilakoni. Jurnalisme dakwah akan meliput berbagai peristiwa kemudian melaporkannya dengan menyebarluaskan kepada masyarakat melalui media massa dengan informasi yang mengandung ajakan, seruan, dan panggilan kepada jalan kebaikan. Jurnalisme dakwah akan selalu berpegang teguh pada prinsip menyuruh pada yang ma’ruf dan mencegah dari yang munkar. (The preaching journalism orientation should consider the better quality of journalism itself rather than the media benefit. Preaching journalism becomes the newest innovation in journalism which far from the official relations’ distortion. Corruption becomes one of the forms of distortion which take the society’s biggest attention because its impact is so harmful for both society and nation. Therefore, this study is trying to convey the journalist’ concept in preventing our nation from corruption. The kind of descriptive qualitative method is proposed in this study. This study is dealing with the literary study by analyzing literatures about journalism and acts of corruption integrated with preaching knowledge. Then it was first analyzed using data collection, data display and conclusion. The result of the research discovered that preaching journalism should give some contributions on preventing corruption through journalistic skill being integrated with preaching concepts. Preaching journalist is not necessarily a Muslim but a journalist who is applying the preaching values in their journalistic activities. The preaching journalism covers the news then they will report it by telling the society through mass media with information containing invitation, exclamation and calling to the good deed. The preaching journalism will always stick on their principle to persuade people to do good deed and preventing the bad.)

Abstract

A good level of literacy is the basis for educational progress, apart from having the ability to absorb information, students must also be able to produce content and information as part of literacy and is not limited to writing, but also includes audio or podcast-based content. This creation process must be supported by a platform that can become a forum for creativity and foster a spirit of literacy. This research aims to provide an overview of the development of podcast media that students can use to improve literacy activities. The research method used is RnD (Reasearch and Development). Data collection techniques using documentation, observation sheets, questionnaires, product validation and tests. The place of this research is at IKIP Siliwangi.  The results of media validation for language learning show a percentage of 95.69% of all experts and practitioners. The output of this research is a web application based on gamified broadcasts which makes literacy activities in the tertiary environment more interesting, trains students to be able to use technological devices and provides a new space for students to improve their literacy skills through audio content and these conditions are the basis for achieving high literacy excel among students.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the Public Relations management of IAIN Bone in presenting interesting information about the campus so that it can attract prospective new students to continue their education at IAIN Bone. This research uses qualitative research with a field approach. The research results show that IAIN Bone's public relations management presents interesting information about the campus through the POAC process, namely: First, planning is an absolute requirement for every management or administrative activity. Second, the organization at IAIN BONE provides information and division of tasks to the public relations staff regarding all activities/agendas that will be carried out every day by the public relations staff. Third, Actuating, namely the process planned by universities to gain sympathy from the community. The implementation carried out by public relations in presenting information is by following the information needs required by students. Fourth, Controlling (Evaluation) is carried out by IAIN Bone Public Relations, namely controlling insight from posts starting from the level of shares, likes, and comments that arise from each post made by public relations and then looking for solutions to problems that arise from these posts.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of behaviorist theory in the practice of da'wah by exploring da'wah communication through the application of the principles of behaviorism. How the right stimulus can stimulate the desired response from the audience becomes the central question. Environmental influences, both social and cultural, are also important aspects to understand in the context of da'wah. How this environment can act as a stimulus that shapes religious behavior. This research uses qualitative research and a literature approach. Data was collected through relevant literature sources. The data has been analyzed through data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of behaviorist theory in da'wah can help achieve the goals of da'wah by looking at the influence of the environment on mad’u behavior. Behaviorism emphasizes the use of da'wah methods that are more measurable, can change individual behavior significantly through stimulus and response such as the use of motivating lectures, the formation of worship habits, or the use of positive reinforcement to encourage participation in da'wah activities, by creating a relatable environment. Behaviorism theory is applied by providing reinforcement for desired or undesirable behavior in preaching. Forming habits in preaching can be done by repeating the desired behavior continuously. Classical conditioning can also be done by associating da’wah behavior with certain stimuli, such as certain environments or situations.
