Abstract

Abstract The government positioned micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as one of the objectives of the National Economic Recovery program through MSME loans. MSME credit distribution in Malang City has increased by up to 5.64% until the end of February 2021, significantly impacting the regional and national economy. Therefore, to encourage banking lending, there must be a synergy between financial institutions and Malang City's MSMEs. This study analyzed the effect of interest rates, credit terms, and ease of credit for credit collection decisions by MSME entrepreneurs in Malang. The population of this study was MSME entrepreneurs in Malang City who had taken credit with 100 respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis as a data analysis technique. It was found that individuals had a significant positive effect between the variable rate of interest rates and ease of credit on the MSME loan decision. At the same time, the credit term has no significant effect on MSME entrepreneurs’ decision to take credit. The results of the interest rate variable test, credit term, and ease of credit simultaneously significantly influence MSME credit collection decisions in Malang.

Abstract

Environmental degradation is a global issue that invites attention from various groups, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs). To preserve the environment and build a sustainable business, it is necessary to optimize environmentally friendly resources. Green intellectual capital, which includes green human capital, green structural capital, and green relational capital, can be practiced by SMEs in maintaining sustainable business. The research aims to empirically prove the influence of green intellectual capital on sustainable SMEs. The research adopted a quantitative method with a self-administered survey. The research sample consisted of 157 respondents who were SMEs in Madiun of Indonesia. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using Smart-PLS 3.0 to prove the hypothesis. The results show that green human capital and green relational capital do not have a significant influence on sustainable SMEs. Meanwhile, green structural capital has a significant influence on sustainable SMEs. This implies that SMEs must pay attention to the internal organizational management system in practicing environmentally businesses.

Using a quantitative approach with the stratified random sampling technique, this research involves 196 MSMEs as respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show that entrepreneurship education (β=0.338) and business mentoring (β=0.425) have a positive and significant impact on the success of MSMEs, both partially and simultaneously (R²=0.394). These findings imply the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education programs and business mentoring in efforts to develop community-based MSMEs.

Abstract

This study investigates the predictive relationships between social and psychological factors, namely, family economic education, peer conformity, social media, and adolescent consumer behavior, with lifestyle as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 400 adolescents in Semarang City, Indonesia. The analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM, which is suitable for prediction-oriented models and mediation testing. The results indicate that social media exerts the most decisive influence on adolescents’ lifestyle, significantly affecting consumer behavior. Lifestyle was confirmed as a key mediator, transmitting the influence of all three predictors to actual consumption behavior. Family economic education emerged as the most influential factor in directly shaping rational and responsible consumption behavior, whereas social media was the dominant force in shaping lifestyle patterns. These findings highlight the dual role of socialization agents: media as a digital lifestyle influencer, and the family as a foundational source of economic values and decision-making skills. The study suggests that educational institutions, families, and communities should collaborate to promote financial literacy and responsible lifestyle choices through social media platforms. Moreover, integrating educational influencers should strategically guide youth toward sustainable and informed consumption behaviors.
