Abstract

Econometrics is an essential science in Development Economics because it can improve students' ability to process data and analyze economics. Monotonous lecture activities and student difficulties in lectures are associated with theories taught in real situations. One way to improve student's practical abilities is through innovative learning models. Learning innovations make students learn to be active in expressing discussions about current economic issues supported by analytical skills in the field, which will increase student enthusiasm. Through Project-based Learning (PjBL), students have to follow the learning process actively. Lecturers will be the leader to the process in order to giving the feedback and assess the learning process. This model enhances students' ability to solve problems directly and then solve them by engaging project work directly and enabling them to act and think creatively, improve collaborative skills, and increase enthusiasm. Using a quasi-experimental, the study involving a sample of 59 people taken by a simple random sampling technique. The data collected were analyzed using a one-time ANOVA test. The application of this model is carried out online and packaged by applying various combinations of technologies. Empirical evidence shows simultaneously significant differences in learning outcomes and problem-solving abilities in undergraduate students using the PjBL method compared to conventional methods. This study concludes that the PjBL model effectively improves the ability to think actively and solve problems for students in the Econometrics course. The implementation results of this study can be the innovative technology-based learning methods that are attractive to undergraduate students in subjects that require high critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the influence of lecturer competencies, students' digital experience, and self-regulated learning moderated by digital learning facilities on students' subjective perceptions of blended learning. The study employs an explanatory quantitative method involving a population of 328 students, with 273 respondents participating in lectures using the blended learning model at universities in Lampung Province. An analysis is conducted using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) model, preceded by tests for normality and reliability. Simultaneous testing of students' subjective perceptions of blended learning indicates a significant value. Another finding in this research reveals that students' experiences, such as knowledge, usage, awareness, information-seeking skills, and information sharing, predominantly influence students' subjective views on blended learning, with a coefficient value approaching one, namely 0.975. Recommendations for future research could focus on evaluating the success of the blended learning model through a combination of face-to-face learning within the classroom and the utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS), considering the social, cognitive, and affective environment that supports students.

Abstract

Abstract The banking institution plays a crucial role in a country's economy. Banking facilitates the connection between those needing funds and those with excess funds. Additionally, banking supports the smooth operation of payment systems, implementing monetary policies, and achieving financial system stability. Therefore, a healthy, transparent, and accountable banking system is necessary. The economy of society will continue to develop in line with the progress and advancement of banking in meeting the financial needs of the community. One of the fundamental challenges in developing Islamic banking products in the community is knowledge. A customer's ability also becomes crucial in choosing an Islamic bank. In general, the insight of the Desa Sidorejo community about Islamic banks is extremely limited, if not very low. This can be seen from interview results where people only express their opinions without ever becoming customers of Islamic banks. Some people in the community do not know Islamic banks at all. The lack of understanding among the community can also lead to a lack of interest in Islamic banks. For example, many people in Desa Sidorejo do not want to become customers or engage with Islamic banks. The development of Islamic banks, especially in Malang Regency, particularly in Desa Sidorejo, is still relatively new. It may have progressed, but primarily within the local community living near the bank branches. However, many citizens living farther from these branches still do not know what Islamic banks are due to their limited understanding.

Abstract

Abstract One indicator of community welfare in an area is the increase in GRDP per capita. However, if the increase in GRDP is not balanced with equitable development, it will cause development inequality problems. This study describes development inequality in districts/cities in East Java using the Williamson Index. The purpose of this study is to explore the conditions of development inequality in districts/cities in East Java with the Williamson Index and its influencing variables. This study uses panel data regression analysis from 38 provinces in Indonesia for 5 years. The secondary data used were in the form of GRDP and population data in 38 regencies/cities, Locally Generated Revenue data, HDI, and Workforce in each Regency/City in East Java from 2015-2019. These panel data were then processed using Ms. Excel and Eviews10. The results of this study indicate that the level of inequality in East Java has increased every year. GRDP and LFPR have a positive effect, while Locally Generated Revenue and HDI have a negative effect. Variables that have a significant effect on alpha 0.05 or 5% are GRDP and HDI. While Locally Generated Revenue and TPAK are at a significance level of more than alpha 0.05 Abstrak Salah satu indikator kesejahteraan masyarakat di suatu daerah adalah peningkatan PDRB per kapita.
