Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi dan peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar Kawasan Banten Lama melalui socialpreneurship. Pemanfaatan sumber daya alam (pembuatan cinderamata berbahan kerang) dan peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia baik masyarakat sekitar, maupun kelompok sadar wisata (pokdarwis). Tour Guide Local memiliki point penting dalam memberikan informasi terkait historical Banten Lama yang dapat menjadi sebuah cara dalam menginformasikan nilai sejarah melalui program edu-tourism. Keterlibatan setiap pihak dalam program kemitraan harus bekerja sama agar kawasan Banten Lama memiliki daya tarik baik tingkat lokal, nasional maupun mancanegara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Internal Audit and Whistleblowing System on Fraud Prevention at PT TASPEN (Persero) Bandung Main Branch Office. The factors tested in this study are internal audit and the violation reporting system as independent variables. Meanwhile, fraud prevention is the dependent variable. The research design used in this research is explanatory. The population in this study were 50 employees who were at PT TASPEN (Persero). The sampling technique used in this study is to use a saturated sample because the population size is known with certainty. While the analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level of 5% using the Program (SPSS) Version 25. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the internal audit and whistleblowing system have a significant effect on fraud prevention and contribute to fraud prevention by 66.4%. So that the better the level of internal audit and whistleblowing system in a company, the higher the level of fraud prevention.

Abstract

Kawasan pesisir Pulau Tunda memiliki daya tarik yang luar biasa bagi pengembangan pariwisata di Provinsi Banten. Tujuannya untuk mengembangkan potensi masyarakat sekitar dalam menciptakan pemandu wisata lokal sebagai upaya meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di pesisir Pulau Tunda, Banten. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan di Pesisir Pulau Tunda Provinsi Banten pada Agustus 2021 dengan menggunakan metode Training of Trainer (ToT) dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Pelaksanaan Training of Trainer (ToT) dilakukan dengan metode pentahelix dengan kerjasama dari pemerintah, akademisi, pihak swasta, masyarakat dan media elektronik. Hasil pelatihan yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 87% peserta memahami isi pelatihan eduwisata dan berminat menjadi pemandu wisata lokal sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan anggaran pengembangan kawasan pesisir yang dirancang setiap tahun yang menjadi penentu skala pengembangan potensi wisata di Pulau Tunda. The coastal area of ​​Tunda Island has an extraordinary attraction for tourism development in Banten Province. The aim is to develop the potential of the surrounding community in creating local tourist guides as an effort to improve the economy of the community on the coast of Tunda Island, Banten. Community service activities carried out on the Coast of Tunda Island, Banten Province, in August 2021 using the Training of Trainer (ToT) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) methods. The implementation of the Training of Trainers (ToT) is carried out using the pentahelix method with collaboration from the government, academics, private parties, the community and electronic media. The results of the training obtained were as many as 87% of participants who understood the content of the edutourism training and were interested in becoming a local tour guide so that there was a need for budget planning for the development of coastal areas which was designed every year which made it a determinant of the scale of tourism potential development on Tunda Island.

Abstract

Student satisfaction can indicate the overall university experience, making it a contentious topic in the higher education literature. For this reason, the author conducted systematic literature discussing Student Satisfaction. This review aims to provide the available constructive literature on student satisfaction with a theoretical and empirical background published during the past 5 years, from January 2017- January 2022, to identify student satisfaction definitions and factors influencing student satisfaction. The author searched for articles in three databases (Scopus, Ebsco, and Proquest). The contribution of this research becomes a reference in understanding and determining the factors of student satisfaction in higher education.

Abstract

The increase in borderless digital-based business competition shows how language education is impacted by neoliberalism in this global era. We explore how linguistic technopreneurship (LT) roles is increasingly constructed as a form of linguistic entrepreneurship to exploit language-related resources to enhance one's socioeconomic value strategically. This research aims to critically examine the influence of LT toward business success digitalization for Small Medium Enterprises in West Java  and it’s implication for Language Education. The research also focusing on the creation of novelty, namely linguistic technopreneurship (LT), which is a refinement of entrepreneurial linguistics (EL). LT is expected to be able to explain how linguistic entrepreneurship can be indexed from two different aspects, namely how to package language education and digital business success. We then discuss under what conditions the notion of linguistic technopreneurship can be applied to digital platform-based business settings and what kind of contradictions this gives rise to. The method used is quantitative, and it involves carrying out SEM analysis. A non-probability sampling technique was used to obtain a minimum of 250 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industry owners who run their businesses through digital platforms in West Java province, which is the province with the most significant number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industries in Indonesia. The research results show that LT significantly influences the success of business success and impact the language education practice. It can be concluded that language education is an added value for a person and influences socioeconomic success.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to carry out a bibliometric analysis of marketing innovation in higher education using VOSviewer. This study uses a quantitative description method. The data used in this study are search results based on the keyword "Marketing Innovation" sourced from Google Scholar using publish or perish software. The search results found 981 articles published between 2018-2022. The results of the research show that research on marketing innovation has decreased in 2018-2022. In conclusion, this research needs to be carried out to show the importance of conducting bibliometric analysis, especially in the field of marketing innovation. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for further research in conducting and determining research themes, especially on the theme of marketing innovation. This research is expected to contribute theoretically to the literature in the context of marketing management

Abstract

This community service activity aims to explore potential in efforts to realize sustainable development goals (SDGs) using the participatory rural appraisal (PRA) method in Pengawinan Village, Bandung District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. Ecotourism, heritage tourism, rural/farm tourism, and community tourism are steps that need to be developed to create a competitive tourist village. Abstract

Kota Serang tengah berjuang menghadapi tingginya angka pengangguran lulusan perguruan tinggi, dengan 11,85% dari pengangguran tersebut berpendidikan sarjana. Kualitas perguruan tinggi swasta yang ditandai dengan akreditasi yang rendah dan kualifikasi dosen yang terbatas menyebabkan arah pendidikan menjadi tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi kinerja dosen pada perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Serang dengan menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kerja sama tim, dengan komunikasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling untuk memilih 160 dosen di Kota Serang. Analisis jalur menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komunikasi (koefisien jalur = 0,550, p < 0,05, t = 4,258) dan kinerja (koefisien jalur = 0,650, p < 0,05, t = 3,047). Kerja sama tim juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komunikasi (koefisien jalur = 0,385, p < 0,05, t = 3,047) dan kinerja (koefisien jalur = 0,160, p < 0,05, t = 1,96). Selain itu, komunikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja (koefisien jalur = 0,282, p < 0,05, t = 3,280), yang menegaskan peran mediasinya. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi peran penting kepemimpinan transformasional, kerja sama tim, dan komunikasi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja dosen. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan faktor-faktor ini dapat mengarah pada hasil pendidikan yang lebih baik dan peningkatan daya kerja lulusan, sehingga dapat mengatasi masalah pengangguran di kalangan lulusan universitas di Kota Serang.

Abstract

This paper discusses sustainable development issues in the higher education sector from the higher education perspective. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are important actors in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. This paper aims to conceptualize impacts of higher education institutions (HEIs) on sustainable development (SD), This review aims to provide the available constructive literature on merger higher education with a theoretical and empirical background published during the past 5 years, from January 2019- November 2024, to identify impack merger higher education to sustnaible development and factors marger higher education. The author searched for articles in two databases(Scopus and Proquest). The contribution of this research becomes a reference in understanding impack merger higher education to sustnaible development and determining the factors of merger in higher education.

Abstract

Purpose The purpose of this study is to use VOSviewer to conduct a bibliometric examination of language skills in a business context. A quantitative description method is employed in this investigation. Methodology The data utilized in this study came from Google Scholar search results for the term "Language skills in business context," which were obtained utilizing the publish or perish program. The data source was taken from the Google Scholar database for the period 2013 – 2023. The total documents found during the last 10 years were 616 documents. Results/Findings Based on the research results, it was found that the number of publications regarding the test language skills in business contex experienced fluctuations. The results of mapping the article data produce three forms of visualization, namely network visualization, overlay, and density. Implications The study provides valuable insights into the evolution, methodologies, and trends within research on language skills in a business context, emphasizing the importance of bibliometric analysis in understanding scholarly landscapes.
