Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of the light vehicle engineering training participants which was thought to be caused by the less conducive climate for the light vehicle engineering training participants' class at the Padang Vocational Training Center. This study aims to see an overview of the class climate of the training participants, to see an overview of the learning outcomes of the training participants, and to see the relationship between the Class Climate and the Learning Outcomes of the Light Vehicle Engineering Training Participants at the Padang Job Training Center.This research is a correlational study that uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were participants in the light vehicle engineering training class 2020. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire and the tools used were a written list of questions. The data analysis technique used the percentage formula and the Spearman Rho formula.The results of this study indicate that: (1) The climate of the training participants' class was categorized as very unfavorable; (2) The learning outcomes of the light vehicle engineering training participants are categorized as low; (3) There is a significant relationship between the classroom climate and the learning outcomes of participants in light vehicle engineering training at the Padang Vocational Training Center. The suggestion of this research is that it is hoped that the instructor will improve the classroom climate in light vehicle engineering training. Abstract

This research is motivated by the high participation of citizens of learning in following the learning of sewing. This is due to the Instructor's personality competence in teaching. The purpose of research to see the Competence Personality Instructor training tailoring in the Social Institution Bina Remaja Harapan Padang Panjang. This research uses quantitative descriptive approach. Population 40 people while the sample amounted to 30 people, namely 69% of the population, sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Technique of collecting data through questionnaire. The result of the Instructor personality competence picture is seen from; (1) acting in accordance with the norm, (2) being honest, noble and exemplary, (3) steady person, (4) having a high work ethic with very good classification of percentage can be categorized. Conclusion Instructors have a high personality competence from aspects of norms, personal noble character and be role model, personal steady, and has a work ethic. Suggestion of this research for Instructor to increase personality competence as an educator and professional trainer.Keywords: Personality Competency, Instructors, Learning Sewing

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of the study participants Paket B in PKBM Sakido Nagari Koto Alam District Pangkalan Lima Puluh Kota, this is allegedly due to interpersonal communication tutor. The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the interpersonal communication of tutor, (2) to describe the learning result of the learning community, and (3) to see the correlation between the interpersonal communication of the tutor and the learning result of the studying citizen. This study includes correlational quantitative research. The population in this study is the residents learn Paket B Class VIII. Data collection techniques with questionnaires arranged in the form of statement sheets. Technique of data analysis using formula of percentage and product moment correlation formula. The result of the research shows that (1) the interpersonal communication of the tutor is still not good, (2) the learning result of the VIII Grade Students in PKBM Sakido is low, and (3) there is a very significant correlation between the interpersonal communication of the tutor and the learners' learning result.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of children during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMPN 7 Sijunjung. Due to alleged learning support during the COVID-19 pandemic's learning process.The goals of this study are to look at the description of learning assistance at SMPN 7 Sijunjung during the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning outcomes of children at SMPN 7 Sijunjung during the pandemic, and the relationship between learning mentoring and children's learning outcomes during the pandemic.SMPN 7 Sijunjung hosts covid-19.This is a quantitative study with a correlational methodology.The participants in this study were 161 students in class VIII at SMPN 7 Sijunjung, who were separated into five classes. This study's sample was drawn from 50% of the population, or 80 people, using cluster random sampling.A questionnaire was utilized for data collecting, and the percentage formula and the product moment formula were used for data analysis.The findings of this study show that (1) children's learning assistance during the covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 7 Sijunjung is not good, (2) children's learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 7 Sijunjung are still low, and (3) there is a link between learning assistance and learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 7 Sijunjung.During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a substantial difference in learning support and children's learning outcomes at SMPN 7 Sijunjung

Abstract

This research was motivated by the success of the Dar El-Iman Tahsin and Tahfizh Quran Institute (LT2Q), this was allegedly due to the guidance from the leadership of the Dar El-Iman Tahsin and Tahfizh Quran Institute (LT2Q) in improving the competence of ustadz. This study aims to see an overview of leadership development in: (1) Improving Cognitive Ability; (2) Developing Affective Ability; (3) Improving Psychomotor Ability.This type of research is descriptive through a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all teachers of Dar El Iman Padang Tahsin and Tahfizh Institute (LT2Q), totaling 37 people. 73% or 27 people were taken as a sample, using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Techniques for collecting data using questionnaires, through data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use the percentage formula.The research results show that; (1) leadership development in improving the cognitive abilities of religious teachers is categorized as good, (2) leadership development in developing the affective abilities of religious teachers is categorized as good, and (3) leadership development in improving the psychomotor abilities of religious teachers is categorized as very good.Keywords: coaching; Competence of Ustaz and Ustazah

Abstract

Education is regarded as the crucial strategy in human power because the mayor attention of educational institute is how to enable the learners as the output to do something based on their own capability. Unfortunately, the education has not had the ability to face this challengeing work. School education, based on its characteristics, is not appropriate for all people from various age. So, it is difficult for a school education to fulfill the expectation of preparing human power maximally, especially to improve countryside people. Developing non-formal educational system may be an right choice for it. The problem is that there are still many non-formal learning activities use the school approach which in turns, will not improve the people. The non-fomal learning activities that can improve people who involve in it, are those which can be applied in all program dimensions, that is having mini and homogenous groups, switching responsibilities, having leadership of learners, "outsiders" as facilitators, and democratization.

Abstract

This research is background by the resilience of women as single parents in carrying out their roles as mothers and fathers for their children. The purpose of the study was to describe the role of female cake kipang workers as single parents in Tanjung Kipang Nagari Atar, Padang Ganting District, Tanah Datar Regency. The focus of the research is how the role of female kue kipang workers is as a single parent in educating children and also as the person in charge of the family economy. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of case study research. The research subjects were 2 female cake kipang workers who were single parents and their children, while the research informants were the family and closest neighbors of the research subjects. The research location is in Tanjung Kipang Nagari Atar, Padang Ganting District, Tanah Datar Regency. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results of the research on the role of women as single parents are as follows: first, the role of women as single parents in educating children. In educating children, the roles of women are: (1) Fulfilling psychological, social, and religious needs. The things that parents do to meet the psychological, social, and religious needs are: (a) Fulfilling the psychological needs of children by accompanying children to study at night at home, so that children do not feel lonely and ask how the children are even though the children are far from their parents. (b) Meeting social needs by involving children in solving problems that are being faced so that children can express their opinions and find solutions to the problems they are facing. (c) Meeting the religious needs of the child by reminding the child to always perform the five daily prayers and giving sanctions to the child when the child leaves the prayer. (2) Women as single parents become examples and models for children, namely parents invite children to carry out maghrib recitals so that children get used to doing it in the future. (3) Women as single parents in stimulating children's development, namely providing understanding to children about the condition of parents so that they can help parents and give responsibility to children to do homework. Second, the role of female kue kipang workers as single parents as the person in charge of the family economy. As the person in charge of the family economy, namely, (1) Working as a cake worker to be able to meet family needs and children's educational needs. (2) Doing other side jobs to increase income, namely working as farm laborers, raising cattle and also washing dishes at celebration events. (3) Regulating income in a frugal way so that the living needs and educational needs of children can be met properly. Keywords: The Role of Single Parent Women

Abstract

This research is background by the lack of discipline of adolescents in Jorong Malasiro, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, which is thought to be due to the family education experienced. This study aims to reveal a description of family education in Jorong Malasiro, a description of adolescent discipline in Jorong Malairo, and the relationship between family education and adolescent discipline in Jorong Malasiro, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational types. The population in this study were 64 people who were all teenagers in Jorong Malasiro, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. The sample of this study was taken by 50%, namely 32 people using the Cluster Random Sampling sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and the Product Moment correlation formula. The results showed that: (1) family education in Jorong Malasiro was categorized as good, (2) the description of adolescent discipline in Jorong Malasiro was categorized as poor, (3) there was a relationship between family education and adolescent discipline in Jorong Malasiro, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, but the relationship was less significant because it is categorized as moderate. Suggestions for all parents in Jorong Malasiro to improve the quality of family education in shaping adolescent discipline. It is suggested to the family empowerment institution in order to improve the ability of parents in educating the discipline of teenagers. Keywords: Family Education, Youth Discipline

Abstract

This research is background by the success of learning patchwork quilting skills in Korong Kampani, Padang Pariaman Regency, participants learn to participate in learning activities happily and comfortably with what is conveyed by learning sources. The approach of this research is descriptive quantitative research. Thepopulation in this study were study participants who took part in the patchwork quilting learning process in Korong Kampani, Padang Pariaman Regency. The population is 16 people and the sample taken is the whole of the research population. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, with data collection tools in the form of written statements or questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the percentage formula. The results showed that: (1) the learning material was very good, (2) the learning method was good, (3) the learning media was good, (4) the learning environment was very good and (5) evaluation Learning is good in the Patchwork Quilting Skill Learning Process during the Covid 19 Pandemic for women in Korong Kampani, Padang Pariaman Regency. It is recommended for educators to maintain a very good learning process and improve the components of learning media and evaluation of learning.Keywords: learning process

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kontrol orang tua terhadap penggunaan telepon pintar pada remaja. Kurangnya kontrol orang tua dari segi pembatasan waktu, tuntutan orang tua dan sikap tegas orang tua terhadap penggunaan telepon pintar pada remaja. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kurang baiknya persepsi orang tua terhadap dampak telepon pintar bagi remaja. Penggunaan telepon pintar yang kurang terkontrol oleh orang tua akan menimbulkan berbagai dampak bagi remaja itu sendiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional, dengan tujuan melihat hubungan antara persepsi orang tua variabel (X) dengan kontrol penggunaan telepon pintar pada remaja variabel (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua (Ibu) yang memiliki anak remaja usia 12-18 tahun di Jorong Tanjung Munti Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota yang berjumlah 40 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan simple random sampling, diambil 80% dari jumlah populasi, jadi sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 32 orang. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner atau angket yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus presentase dan product momen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama,persepsi orang tua terhadap dampak telepon pintar ditemukan kurang baik atau kurang tepat dilihat dari segi pemahaman, tanggapan dan sikap orang tua. Kedua, kontrol orang tua terhadap penggunaan telepon pintar pada remaja ditemukan kurang atau rendahnya kontrol orang tua terhadap penggunaan telepon pintar pada remaja, dilihat dari segi pembatasan waktu, tuntutan orang tua, dan sikap tegas orang tua. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan signifikan antara Persepsi Orang Tua dengan Kontrol Penggunaan Telepon Pintar pada Remaja di Jorong Tanjung Munti Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Semakin kurang baik persepsi orang tua maka semakin renadah kontrol orang tua terhadap penggunaan telepon pintar pada remaja dan begitu juga sebaliknya.
