Family welfare in West Sumatra has begun to falter due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) with the reduction of workers, resulting in a decrease in family income. Not a few families experience limitations and powerlessness in meeting basic needs, this makes people look for solutions by staying at home but still being able to meet family needs. The training on processing household waste into eco-enzymes based on eco-community is carried out as one solution to the problems faced by the community, which aims to make household waste that has been thrown away into eco-enzymes as a liquid (a million benefits) based on eco-community so that waste can be used and even economically valuable so that it becomes family income and city problems can also be resolved. The training for productive age housewives who do not work to utilize household waste into eco-enzymes that are of the sale value and can be used at home as a multi-purpose liquid and to develop the life skills of housewives so that they can take advantage of their free time and can help the husband in meeting the economic needs of the family. This training has an impact in 1) increasing family income despite working from home; 2) being able to take advantage of the free time of housewives by the skill of processing waste; 3) the formation of an eco-community as a society that cares about the environment and makes waste with economic value; 4) reduce waste as a problem in the city of Padang.

This paper is part of a report on community empowerment activities by a team from Padang State University with the focus of the activity being the empowerment of poor housewives through optimizing the function of the plot of land with economically valuable plants, located in Nagari Sungai Buluh Timur, Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman District. The purpose of the empowerment program is to improve the behavior of poor housewives in order to be able to optimize the utilization of the potential of family resources including specifically the plots of land so that they can increase family income. This dedication activity took the form of counseling with lectures and discussions about the family and its problems, counseling, and workshops on the cultivation of garden plants. Overall Empowerment activities can go well according to plan. Participants were enthusiastic about optimizing the use of the yard, and there was support from the wider community and the village government for the sustainability of the program in the future.

This research is motivated by the low learning discipline of the learning citizens, this is related to the high intensity of playing online games for the learning citizens of the Mandiri Racing Team. This study discusses, 1) to see the complexity of playing online games, 2) to see the discipline of learning competence, 3) to see the relationship between the intensity of playing online games with the discipline of learning at the Independent Racing Team Course Institute. This type of research is quantitative correlational. The study population was learning citizens registered with the Institute of Independent Racing Team Courses, totaling 75 learning residents. Samples were taken as much as 40%. The number of samples is 30 people. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The technique of collecting data through a questionnaire, the data collection tool consists of agreed lists. This research data analysis technique uses percentages and product moments. The results of this study can be seen (1) the higher intensity of playing online games for learning citizens at the Institute of Independent Team Racing Course, (2) the low discipline of citizens learning the learning process, and (3) requires a significant relationship between online play games with the learning discipline of the Race Team Independent Course. Suggestions in this study are 1) for citizens to learn in order to improve discipline in learning at the Independent Course Team Race Course, 2) for instructors to be able to increase knowledge about learning discipline for citizens to learn the Independent Course Team Race Course, 3) for parents of learning citizens in order to be a reference and knowledge about disciplining children's activities.

This research was motivated by the high independence of school dropouts in Jorong Koto Baru Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency, which was marked by their own income and their participation in community activities. The independence of teenagers dropping out of school was allegedly due to the efforts of parents in establishing their independence. The total population in this study were 25 teenagers who dropped out of school with a sampling of 60% so that there were 15 people. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive with percentage calculation. The results of the study found that, (1) the opportunity given by parents, (2) communication conducted by parents, and (3) the responsibility given in the formation of independence in Jorong Koto Baru was categorized as very good.Keywords: Efforts, Independence

This research is motivated by the high participation and activeness of the trainees allegedly because of the positive response from the participants of small medium business training to the implementation of the training itself. This study aims to describe the training participants' responses to training materials, training methods, training media, and training instructors. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in the study as many as 100 people. Sample 40 people with stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires with data collection tools in the form of a list of statements. Data analysis techniques use percentage calculations. The results showed that the participants' responses were positive, as seen from the high percentage of results for the answers agreed and strongly agreed. The result of the research is that the training participants' responses to training materials, training methods, training media, and training instructors are positive. Research suggestions to training instructors, in order to maintain the performance of their training, training providers, in order to facilitate instructors in carrying out their future tasks, and as inputs for other researchers to examine other variables concerning training of small and medium enterprises.

This research was motivated by a lack of parental participation in parenting activities in PAUD Sinar Gunung, Padang City. This lack of parental participation is thought to lack understanding about parenting. This study aims to (1) describe the understanding of parents, (2) describe the participation of parents and (3) see the relationship between understanding and parenting participation in parenting programs.This type of research uses correlational quantitative methods. The population in this study were 25 parents who interacted directly with educators and registered their children in the PAUD Sinar Gunung institution. Samples were taken as much as 60%. The number of samples is 15 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and test questions in the form of questionnaires, while data collection tools in the form of a list of statements and questions. The data analysis technique of this study uses percentage and rank orders.The results of the study can be seen that (1) parents 'understanding of parenting programs is still low, (2) parental participation in parenting activities is still low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between parents' understanding of parenting programs and their participation in activities parenting.Keywords: Parents Understanding, Participation, Parenting Program

Against the backdrop of the successful use of avocado breeding training learning media in the West Sumatran Agricultural Training Center. This study aims to see the description of the use of learning media based on the accuracy of the use of media with learning objectives, the accuracy of the use of media with learning materials, the accuracy of the use of media with the understanding of the participants, the accuracy of the use of media with learning methods, the accuracy of the use of media with facilities and infrastructure/locations in West Sumatra Barat Training Center. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 60 people. The collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the percentage technique. The results of this study indicate that (1) the accuracy of the use of media with learning objectives is obtained at 100% intervals, (2) the accuracy of the use of media with learning materials is obtained at 99% intervals, (3) the accuracy of the use of media with participant understanding is obtained at 99% intervals, (4) the accuracy of the use of media with learning methods is obtained at 99.9% intervals, (5) the accuracy of the use of media with facilities and infrastructure/locations is obtained at 99% intervals in the very high category.Keywords: Use of Learning Media, Education and Training

The background of this research is the low social behavior of adolescents in Nagari Lunang 2, Lunang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, which is thought to be caused by the application of character education in the family which is still low. This study aims to describe the social behavior of adolescents, describe the application of character education in the family, and see the relationship between the application of character education in the family and the social behavior of adolescents in Nagari Lunang 2. This research is a quantitative correlational type. The population in this study were all teenagers who were of junior high school and high school education age. Sampling using area random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and product moment correlation. The results of this study indicate that the application of character education in the family is low, the social behavior of adolescents is not good, and there is a significant relationship between character education in the family and the social behavior of adolescents in Nagari Lunang 2. Research suggestions are suggested to parents and the community to increase their role in the application of character education to children in the family environment, and it is recommended for family empowerment institutions to decide a policy, especially in order to improve the ability of parents to implement character education in the family. This research was motivated by the high self-confidence of students in the Ar-Royyan Elementary School, especially the first (1) class students who had the courage to appear in front of the class, dare to express their opinions, and dare to write in front of the class during the teaching and learning process. Allegedly the high self-confidence of students because of the implementation of outbound activity programs before the teaching and learning process in school. The purpose of the research is to see an overview of the planning, implementation and evaluation of outbound activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of the research was the executive committee of outbound activities at the Ar-Royyan Nature Elementary School (educators and education staff) totaling 50 people. The research sample was taken 50% of the total population of 25 people with simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and questionnaire data collection tools. Data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive technique with percentage calculation. The results of the study found that, (1) planning outbound activities looked very good, (2) the implementation of outbound activities looked very good, and (3) evaluation of the implementation of outbound activities looked very good. Suggestions to the Ar-Royyan Nature Elementary School, (1) in order to maintain the outbound activity program is always carried out at the time of admission of new students, and (2) the implementing committee of outbound activities maintain the quality of the implementation of outbound activities that have been carried out properly.Keywords: Outbound, Confidence

This research is motivated by professional tutors in carrying out their main duties and functions at SPNF, a Learning Center for Padang Panjang City. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) motivation, (2) briefing, and (3) supervision in the framework of management by the SKB Head. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The study population amounted to 12 people who were also respondents to the study. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, with data collection tools using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the study showed that (1) the direction in improving the professional learning service was categorized quite high, (2) motivating the improvement of professional learning services is categorized as quite high, and (3) supervision in improving professional learning is categorized quite high. Suggestions that leaders can maintain management both from aspects of motivation, direction, and supervision.Keywords: Management, Briefing, Direction, Supervision
