Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess implementation of Upsus Pajale Program, participation of farmer group members, and analyse factors related to the participation of farmers group members in the Upsus Pajale Program. This is a survey which is purposively undertaken in West Metro Sub district, involving 52 farmer households. The study was carried out from September to October 2017. Data are analyzed using qualitative-descriptive analysis and Rank Spearman correlation test. The results show that factors related to participation of farmer group members were farmers frequency in attending agricultural extension meeting and level of motivation. However, farmer’s age, formal education level, and land ownership have no relation with participation. Overall, participation of farmer group members in Upsus Pajale Program in West Metro Sub district is quite active.Key words: participation of famer group members, Upsus Pajale

Abstract

This study analyzes the community needs for PKBL in order to formulate the strategy of PKBL accordance with the community needs and their environment,  the level of community participation in PKBL, and the correlating factors to community participation in PKBL. This research was conducted in Rejosari Village, Natar Sub-district, South Lampung Regency.  The samples in this study were 84 households that was chosen randomly. The data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis, tabulation, and Rank Spearman correlation. The results showed that the community needs for PKBL included a) economy aspect: the assets loan without interest for the community in three subvillages, training of biogas production in Banjar subvillage, cattle farmer’s group trainer in Northern and Southern Titirante subvillages, skill trainings, the market provisionand product promotion; b) social aspect: the development of institutional activities, the complement of educational facilities in three subvillages, and the construction of high school buildings in Rejosari Village; c) environmental aspect: asphalting roads and bridge repairment. In addition to d) health aspect: public health improvement programs through free medical check up service or health infrastructure improvement. The level of community participation in PKBL was low. The factors correlated to community participation in PKBL of PTPN VII were education level, the number of family members, and the length of staying. Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze the performance of agricultural extension agents (PPL), factors related to PPL performance, the relationship between PPL performance and productivity of the rice and the relationship between the productivity and paddy rice income in Kalirejo.  This study uses a survey method on rice farming in Kalirejo, Central Lampung. The data was collected in October 2017 by interviewing 53 respondents consist of 8 PPLs and 45 rice farmer who were drawn by purposive sampling method.  The data was analyzed by qualitative-descriptive analysis, tabulation and Rank Spearman correlation. The study showed that the performance of PPL in BPP Kalirejo was considered high. The competence, work environment, motivation and leadership PPL are related to the performance of PPL. The performance of PPL was related to the productivity of rice.  However the productivity was not related to the income of rice farming.  Although, the productivity of the rice was increasing, income of the rice farmer was considered low due to low price of rice. Key words: income, performance, productivity

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the application level of organic vegetables cultivation technology in Karangrejo Village North Metro sub district, Metro City.  This research was conducted May until June 2014 in Karangrejo Village North Metro sub district, Metro City.  The research method used case study to got samples with Arikunto’s formula, by working 48 respondents. The data analysis was done descriptively.  The results showed that: The application level of organic vegetables from cultivation technology in Karangrejo Village in the middle category with an average level applicability of 75 percents.  The application level of technology have been applied well, there are activities on planting, watering, and post harvesting. The level of implementation needs to be improved were seeds/seedlings and harvesting. Key words: application, technology, organic vegetables

Abstract

This research aimed to assess the response of farmers group member towards PUAP program in Kebun Tebu District; investigate the factors related to farmer's response towards the implementation of the PUAP Program in Kebun Tebu District; know the suitability between the planning and implementation of PUAP Program. The research was conducted in Pekon Cipta Mulya, Kebun Tebu District, West Lampung Regency. The population of this research were all farmers who take part in RADP in Kebun Tebu District. The sample of this research were 100 farmers who became member of Gapoktan Mulya Mandiri in Pekon Cipta Mulya which choosen using cluster sampling method. The research data collection was conducted from August until September 2015. The research data wascolleceted by questionnaire and anylized by descriptive analysis method. The results of this research showed thatt the response of farmers group member categorized as quite good. factors related to farmer’s response towards the implementation of PUAP Program were the level of formal education of farmers, farmers' knowledge, motivation of farmers joint in PUAP Program and farmers’ farming experience. Abstract

This research aims to identify the extension worker’s performance level and the farmer’s perceptionto the extension worker’s performance of West MetroBP3K as BP3K CoE Model in West Metro District,Metro City. This research was done in four Sub-Districts namely Mulyojati, Mulyosari, Ganjar Agung,and Ganjar Asri as development area BP3K West Metro. The research was conducted on July to August 2013. The number of samples were 7 extension workers and 95 farmers that was taken usingproportional random sampling. The analysis method is used in this research is descriptive, qualitativemethod and Rank Spearman analysis. The result of research show that: (1) The level of extensionworkers performance in BP3K West Metro district was categorized into medium class (2) The level offarmers’ perception to the extension worker’s performances of West Metro BP3K were categorizedinto medium class (3) The factors relating to the farmers perception in extension worker’s performanceof West Metro BP3K were level of farmer’s education, farmer’s social interaction, and the level offarmer’s income. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui: 1) Peranan stakeholders (Pemerintah Pekon, Pengurus BUM Pekon, Masyarakat), 2) Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat, 3) Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei pada masyarakat Pekon Parda Haga di Kecamatan Lemong Kabupaten Pesisir Barat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu: 1) secara sengaja (purposive sampling) terdiri dari pemerintah pekon, pengelola BUM Pekon, dan Masyarakat yang terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan BUM Pekon Parda Haga, 2) secara acak (proporsional random sampling) menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan total sampel sebanyak 46 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji statistika non parametrik Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitiaan menunjukkan bahwa peranan stakeholders dalam pengelolaan BUM Pekon Parda Haga telah dilakukan dengan cukup baik, tingkat partisipasi masyarakat secara keseluruhan termasuk ke dalam klasifikasi sedang, faktor-faktor yang berhubungan nyata dengan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan BUM Pekon yaitu tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan, dan motivasi, sedangkan faktor-faktor yang tidak berhubungan nyata dengan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan program BUM Pekon Parda Haga yaitu umur anggota dan luas lahan garapan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi pemuda, minat pemuda, dan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi persepsi pemuda terhadap pekerjaan di sektor pertanian di Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Terbanggi Besar dan Desa Nambah Dadi, Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Responden adalah 67 pemuda yang berusia 15-40 tahun di Desa Terbanggi Besar dan Desa Nambah Dadi, Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang terdiri dari tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pengetahuan, usia, pengaruh orang tua, dan dukungan instansi berpengaruh nyata dengan persepsi pemuda terhadap pekerjaan di sektor pertanian. Abstract

Secara nyata KRPL memang berdampak positif dalam membantu mengurangi pengeluaran keluarga sangat miskin dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, namun masih belum optimal dalam menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan anggota KWT yang menyangkut pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup. Sebagai contoh masih ditemukan anak anggota KWT dengan kasus gizi buruk dan kasus stunting khususnya di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Kasus tersebut merupakan salah satu contoh bahwa pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup dan pangan masyarakat masih kurang optimal. Padahal adanya KRPL diharapkan dapat memberikan kesejahteraan hidup yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota KWT mengenai gizi dan pangan dan keterampilan mengenai pengelolaan pekarangan rumah dan administrasi pembukuan. rampilan anggota KWT dalam hal pengelolaan administrasi dan pembukuan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan untuk pencapaian tujuan dan target adalah metode Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian adalah anggota KWT Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan bagi anggota KWT untuk peningkatan pangan dan gizi, pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dan administrasi pembukuan dan kelompok. Anggota KWT sudah dapat memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan sebagai apotik hidup dan pembukuan KWT sudah dikelola secara baik dan tertib sehingga dapat membantu untuk mengembangkan KWT lebih baik lagi kedepannya

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze the financial feasibility and the sensitivity of cassava solid waste processing agroindustry. The research was conducted in March 2018 in Terusan Nunyai District, Lampung Tengah Regency by purposeive selected. The sampels of the research were 2 cassava solid waste processing agroindustry. Research data were analyzed by using financial feasibility and sensitivity analysis method. The results showed that cassava solid waste processing agroindustries were financially profitable and feasible to be developed. The value of NPV in two agroindustries were bigger than 0. The Value of Net B/C and Gross B/C in two agroindustries were bigger than 1. The value of IRR on two agroindustries more than commercial interest rate, and payback period of investmens could be covered less than the ages of agroindustries. The sensitivity value showed that processing cassava solid waste processing agroindustries was sensitive if there was an increase in costs of 3.25 percent. Most of criteria in all agroindustries was sensitive if there was a decrease in production volume of 5 percent. All agroindustries was sensitive if there was a decrease in price of 3.25 percent.Key words: cassava solid waste, feasible, sensitivity
