Abstract

Ketidakhadiran siswa sering dianggap berdampak pada hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara ketidakhadiran siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa Kelas VI-B di MIS Rohani Ikhwanul Muslimin pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana digunakan. Data dikumpulkan dari catatan kehadiran dan nilai rapor rata-rata siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara ketidakhadiran dengan hasil belajar, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai F sebesar 0,744 (p > 0,05), yang menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh yang substansial. Persamaan regresi menunjukkan bahwa setiap tambahan ketidakhadiran mengurangi hasil belajar sebesar 0,1592 poin, meskipun hubungan ini tidak signifikan secara statistik. Oleh karena itu, hasil belajar siswa tidak hanya bergantung pada ketidakhadiran tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain seperti metode pengajaran, dukungan orang tua, dan motivasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ChatGPT as a tool to help students complete academic assignments. Using a quantitative descriptive method, this study involved 150 6th semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through an online questionnaire that measured the intensity of ChatGPT use, ease of understanding the material, and its impact on learning outcomes. The results showed that the majority of students felt helped by the use of ChatGPT, especially in compiling essay assignments, understanding complex academic concepts, and increasing self-confidence in solving math problems. However, it was found that excessive use has the potential to reduce learning motivation if students rely too much on instant answers. Therefore, wise use of ChatGPT and integration with conventional learning methods is highly recommended so that students continue to develop critical thinking skills and independence in learning.

Abstract

Learning concentration plays a crucial role in students' academic success and can be influenced by various factors, including sleep quality. This study examines the relationship between sleep quality and mathematics learning concentration among seventh-grade students (VII-3) at SMPN 4 Medan. A descriptive correlational method with a quantitative approach was used. Data were collected using a sleep quality questionnaire based on the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and a learning concentration questionnaire. Statistical analysis included the Chi-Square test, Pearson and Spearman correlation, and Odds Ratio estimation. Results showed that 54.5% of students had poor sleep quality, while 45.5% had good sleep quality. Regarding concentration, 54.5% of students exhibited good concentration, while 45.5% struggled to focus. Statistical tests confirmed a significant relationship between sleep quality and learning concentration (p = 0.007), with a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.467). The Odds Ratio indicated that students with good sleep quality were eight times more likely to have high concentration. These findings emphasize the importance of proper sleep habits in improving students' focus and academic performance.

Abstract

Riset ini diselenggarakan sebab dari hasil obervasi yang dilakukan dengan mewawancarai guru dan beberapa peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Bukit, didapat informasi bahwa kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik rendah, kurangnya media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis website yang dapat meningkatkan literasi matematika peserta didik yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian R&D dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Bukit dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI-2 sebanyak 36 orang. Intrumen yang digunakan ialah lembar validasi, angket respon, wawancara dan juga tes literasi matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Teknik analisa data yang direalisasikan adalah analisis data kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Pada analisis data kevalidan, website yang dikembangkan disebut valid jika perolehan angket validator mendapatkan skor minimal 61%. Pada analisis data kepraktisan, Website yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan praktis apabila skor perolehan dari angket respon guru mencapai minimal 61%-80%. Keefektifan produk dapat diketahui berdasarkan hasil tes ketuntasan belajar peserta didik atau KKM. KKM mata pelajaran matematika wajib yaitu 75. Indikator keefektifan Website adalah ≥75% nilai peserta didik harus berada diatas KKM. Selain itu, indikator keefektifan didapatkan melalui respon positif murid dan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika yang dilihat melalui uji N-Gain. Adapun hasil penelitian berdasarkan kevalidan diperoleh persentase sebesar 78,88% oleh ahli media dan 79,58% oleh ahli materi. Untuk kepraktisan diperoleh persentase sebesar 74% melalui angket guru dan 78,4% melalui angket peserta didik. Dan untuk keefektifan diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80,55%. Sehingga media pembelajaran berbasis website untuk meningkatkan literasi matematika peserta didik telah valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara gaya belajar dan kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematika siswa pada materi statistika. Adapun metode yang diterapkan ialah accidental sampling dengan sampel 31 siswa kelas XII yang mempelajari statistika di SMAS PAB 8 Saentis Percut Sei Tuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner gaya belajar berbasis model VAK (Visual, Auditori, Kinestetik) dan tes matematika tentang statistika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 12 siswa (38,7%) memiliki gaya belajar visual, 11 siswa (35,5%) auditori, dan 8 siswa (25,8%) kinestetik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara kedua variabel lemah. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa gaya belajar bukan faktor utama keberhasilan dalam menguasai materi dan keberhasilan pembelajaran matematika tidak semata-mata ditentukan oleh jenis gaya belajar siswa, melainkan juga dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor lain.

Abstract

The government policy in March 2020 regarding the application of online learning has significant changes in the learning process on campus. One of them is by changing teaching materials from textbooks to e-books, which is a must as a form of adjustment related to campus conditions that implement full online learning using LMS SIPDA. The objectives of this study are: (1) Producing an interactive e-book on basics statistics based on Realistic Mathematics assisted by the SIPDA LMS developed by using a valid and practical Kvisoft Flipbook Maker (2) To determine the effectiveness of the e-book Basics of Statistics in improving student problem-solving abilities. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. E-book development using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Application. The results of the e-book development at the needs analysis stage showed that 85% of students needed integrated learning media. SIPDA integrated e-books can increase student attendance and activities by 60%. At the product design stage, the e-book in the form of a word file is converted into a PDF file and then developed using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker by adding videos, images, and other files. The e-book is validated with a validity rate of 92% by material experts and 89% by media experts. The value of practicality is seen from two things, namely: (1) Questionnaire for responses from media experts and two practitioner lecturers, it was found that the e-book developed could be applied in the good category (3.92) and met the practical criteria (80%) used in the online learning era. (2) The student response questionnaire in a small group of 10 people obtained the category Good (3.96) and very practical (85%). The percentage of student response questionnaire results at the implementation stage of the SIPDA class showed a positive response of 87.6%. The effectiveness aspect is seen from the average individual learning completeness of 71.42 with classical completeness criteria obtained by 91. And the N-Gain score was 0.71 in high category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalsiis pengaruh media social pada minat belajar matematika mahasiswa, dengan fokus pada aplikasi pesan instan seperti WhatsApp. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial berkontribusi sebesar 37,0% terhadap minat belajar matematika, meskipun masih terdapat 63,0% variabel lain yang memengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa, seperti metode pengajaran dan dukungan dari lingkungan sekitar. Dengan memahami dampak interaksi di media sosial, semoga penelitian ini menghasilkan wawasan tentang pemanfaatan media sosial secara optimal dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

 Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat motivasi belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model discovery learning pada materi barisan geometri tak hingga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan survei sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas 10 di salah satu sekolah menengah atas. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disusun untuk mengukur variabel motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning tidak berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi mereka. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan untuk pengembangan metode pengajaran yang lebih efektif dan kreatif di masa mendatang, serta meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi matematika. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Discovery Learning, Barisan Geometri tak hingga, Pembelajaran.   Abstract : This study aims to analyze the level of learning motivation of students taught using the discovery learning model on the material of infinite geometric sequences. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey as a data collection technique. The respondents of this study consisted of 35 10th grade students in a high school. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure the variables of student learning motivation. The results of the study indicate that the level of student learning motivation in learning with the discovery learning model does not contribute significantly to increasing their motivation. This study is expected to provide insight for the development of more effective and creative teaching methods in the future, as well as improve students' understanding of mathematics material. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Discovery Learning, Infinite Geometric Sequences, Learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam era digitalisasi, peternak sapi di Desa Tanjung Gusta menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pemasaran produk mereka, terutama terkait dengan keterbatasan akses dan pengetahuan tentang teknologi digital. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hardskill peternak melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam penggunaan platform Silembu.com dan teknik pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan jangkauan pasar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pengembangan konsep platform, penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya pemasaran digital, workshop penggunaan Silembu.com dan integrasi dengan media sosial. dengan melibatkan 11 peternak dari Kandang Sapi Arfhan dan kelompok peternak di desa tersebut. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi saat kegiatan, serta wawancara dan angket dengan total 9 pertanyaan pasca kegiatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 60% peserta sangat puas dengan pelatihan, dengan peningkatan hardskill penggunaan platform digital sebesar 73% dan kebutuhan pendampingan lanjutan mencapai 73%. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peternak tentang digital marketing dan berpotensi meningkatkan penjualan sapi secara signifikan.Abstract: In the digital era, cattle farmers in Tanjung Gusta Village face significant challenges in marketing their products, primarily due to limited access and knowledge of digital technology. This community service program aims to enhance farmers' hard skills through training and support in using the Silembu.com platform and digital marketing techniques to enhance market reach. The implementation methods included the development of the platform concept, education on the importance of digital marketing, workshops on using Silembu.com, and integration with social media, involving 11 farmers from Kandang Sapi Arfhan and local farmer groups. Evaluation was conducted through observation during the activities, as well as interviews, and questionnaires with a total of 9 questions after the activities Results showed that 60% of participants were very satisfied with the training, with a 73% increase in digital platform hardskills and a 73% need for ongoing support. The program successfully enhanced farmers' understanding of digital marketing and has the potential to significantly boost cattle sales.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a constructivism-based e-module that is valid, practical, and effective, so that it can assist students in understanding the material for a two-variable linear equation system. The research instruments used were lesson plans, material validation sheets and e-module media, learning outcomes tests, and student and teacher response questionnaire sheets. After all instruments, lesson plans, and e-modules were declared valid by the validator, then readability tests and field trials were carried out. The results showed that: (1) the developed E-Module had met the validity values, namely (3.37 and 3.25) with a very feasible category; (2) The developed E-Module has met the practical value (79.75% and 90.5%) with very practical category; (3) The developed E-Module meets the effective criteria with the completeness of student learning outcomes that meet the criteria, namely 85% of students have obtained a score of 75 and the achievement of each indicator/learning objective is more than 65% of the total students.
