Abstract

The purpose of this research are to find out: (1) the scientific approach has a significant influence on student character, (2) interpersonal interaction has a significant effect on student character, and (3) the effect of scientific approach and interpersonal interaction together on student character. The research method used was quasi experiment with 2 x 2 factorial designs. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Data collection instruments are questionnaires and tests. Data analysis technique used two-way analysis of variance. The research findings show: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between the scientific learning approach and student character, (2) there is a positive and significant effect between interpersonal interactions in the learning of Islamic Education with student character, and (3) there is a positive and significant effect between scientific approach and interpersonal interaction on learning Islamic Education with student character.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the influence of madrasa head leadership on teacher performance; (2) the effect of motivation on teacher performance (3) the influence of madrasa culture on teacher performance; (4) the influence of madrasa head leadership and motivation on teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model. The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model located on Wiliem Iskandar no. 7A Medan. This research is a quantitative study with a population of 149 people and a sample of 109 people who were determined using the Slovin method. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant influence between the leadership of the madrasah head on teacher performance; (2) there is a positive and significant effect between motivation on teacher performance. (3) there is a positive and significant influence between madrasa culture on teacher performance. (4) there is a positive and significant influence between madrasah head leadership and motivation on teacher performance. (5) there is a positive and significant influence between the leadership of the madrasa headmaster and madrasa culture on teacher performance. (6) there is a positive and significant influence between motivation and madrasa culture on teacher performance. (7) there is a positive and significant influence between madrasah head leadership, motivation and madrasa culture together on teacher performance. Madrasah headship leadership, motivation and madrasa culture have an effect on teacher performance by 53.4% and the remaining 46.6% is determined by other factors.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the project management approach and the application of project management in education. In this study using the method of library research (library research). In obtaining research data, researchers collect, analyze, organize, sources from articles, books, previous research on methods and approaches in project management. The results of the research are (1) Project Management is a discipline that must be possessed by every professional individual in an organization because the dynamics of an ever-changing organization requires an organization or must be able to create ideas that are embodied in projects. Projects are complex business activities. , are not routine in nature, have limited time, budget and resources and have special specifications for the products to be produced. (2) The Project Management Method used is CPM (Critical Path Method). 1) critical method (CPM) and linear programming approach (Linear Programming), 2) critical method is basically a time-activated scheduling method. The purpose of the critical method is to establish the relationship between time and cost by reducing the target time and considering operational costs. (3) Waterfall Project Management Approach, Critical Path Method, Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM).

Abstract

This study aims to examine Selecting and Developing Professionals. The research method used is library research. In collecting data, the factual study method was used. The results of the research from selecting and developing professionals were allegations of a teacher supply crisis, teacher recruitment and selection, teacher induction, teacher development, teacher retention, leadership recruitment and selection and leadership preparation and induction. This factual review (analysis) section focuses on the selection and development of two groups of staff, namely teachers and school principals. Learning organizations are meant to be inclusive, so all staff should be selected and developed with equal care. However, human resources are limited and it is undeniable that some categories of staff tend to have a greater impact on student learning than others. Principals have a variety of structures available to them that reflect organizational interests as well as individual interests.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to find out how to describe planning for the development of Islamic education learning programs, to find out how to describe the implementation of developing Islamic education learning programs, and to describe the evaluation process in developing Islamic education learning programs as well as the follow-up process in developing Islamic education learning programs at SD NEGERI 060857 school This type of research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the management research on the development of Islamic education learning programs at SD NEGERI 060857 are a systematic process carried out by the teacher. The steps are the preparation of subject matter, the use of teaching media, the use of method and assessment approaches. Its development is the process of implementing teaching and learning in the classroom. Implementation of the evaluation is the result of the effectiveness of learning outcomes. Follow-up activities are a learning process. These activities include; giving assignments, enriching material, providing extracurricular motivation (mandatory congregational prayers, skills in the art of reading the Koran, skills in calligraphy and participating in religious competitions).

Abstract

The research conducted here is entitled “The Role of Madrasa Heads in the Development of Organizational Culture in MTs ‘Aisyiyah North Sumatra”, with the background that lack of implementation of organizational culture in this madrasa. The research method uses a qualitative research type with a phenomenological approach. As a source of data for this research, the researcher took several sources of information from the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa for curriculum, the deputy head of the madrasa for students affairs, one teacher, and also two student at MTs ‘Aisyiyah North Sumatra. The research result revealed that, 1) the role of the madrasa head in developing organizational culture at MTs ‘Aisyiyah North Sumatra, namley a) forming cooperative relationship, b) creating innovaion or renewal, and c) providing motivation; 2) implementing organizational culture development at MTs ‘Aisyiyah North Sumatra is implemented through three things, namely a) developing student caracter, b) developing student interests and talents, and c) developing student knowledge; 3) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of organizational culture at MTs ‘Aisyiyah North Sumatra, namely a) supporting factors: the role of the madrasa head, cooperative relationships within the madrasa, the community that supports the implementation of organizational culture in the madrasa, and b) inhibiting factors: teachers who not being optimal in carrying out their roles, lack of awareness among students to implement organizational culture in madrasa, lack of facilities in madrasa, and lack of understanding of parents regarding the mplementation of organizational culture in the madrasa.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen sangat penting untuk mengatur semua kegiatan, baik kegiatan formal maupun informal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subyek kepala sekolah, wkm kurikulum, dan wkm kesiswaan. Sebuah lembaga pendidikan membutuhkan kebaikan perencanaan manajemen. Layak tidaknya sebuah lembaga pendidikan ditentukan oleh bagaimana pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen di lembaga pendidikan. Manajemen yang baik tentunya mengacu pada fungsi-fungsi manajemen itu sendiri, dimana fungsi yang dimaksud tidak lain adalah POAC. Manajemen harus diterapkan dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan karena dengan menerapkan aspek manajemen seperti merencanakan, mengatur, menggerakkan, dan mengendalikan, kualitas lembaga pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan karena pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen secara terencana, sistematis, berkelanjutan dan mencapai tujuan yang telah dibuat dalam hal ini lembaga pendidikan dapat mencapai standar mutu pendidikan yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

This research will focus on three main areas: 1) what are the methods of madrasah heads in managing conflict, 2) what is the productivity of madrasahs at MTs al-washliyah, cliff high city, 3) what are the conflict resolution strategies at MTs al-washliyah, cliff high city. This research aims to find out: The first is to find out how school principals manage conflict, the second is to find out how madrasa productivity is at MTs al-Washliyah, Tebing Tinggi City, and the third is to find out what conflict resolution strategies are, This study used qualitative research methods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the change management policy in the Semester Credit System (SKS) flagship service program at MAN 1 Medan and MAN 3 Medan from the perspective of public service law. This study uses a multi-site study approach with locations at MAN 1 Medan, Jl. Willem Iskandar No. 7 B Medan, and MAN 3 Medan, Jl. Pertahanan, Kel. Timbang Deli, Medan Amplas District. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely, analysis in a single case and cross-case analysis. The results of the study indicate that change management planning at MAN 1 and MAN 3 Medan involved various parties, comprehensive plan adjustments, and gradual changes with improvements in facilities and human resources. The implementation of change management includes teacher and student collaboration, curriculum adjustments, and training and socialization. The evaluation at MAN 1 Medan focused on leadership, teachers, and curriculum revision, while at MAN 3 Medan, the evaluation emphasized the evaluation of technology facilities, socialization, and curriculum. From the perspective of public service law, MAN 1 and MAN 3 Medan have implemented legal principles in the implementation of education. This study provides insight into the effectiveness of change management policies in the SKS program and its implications for improving the quality of educational services in madrasas.
