Abstract

Abstract This research was aimed at describing the presentation of Ronggeng in Maantaan Kambiang of Traditional Ceremony of Turun Mandi in Muaro Kiawai Kecamatan Gunuang Tuleh Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Ronggeng wich was presented in the ceremony had supporting element which were the players, musical instruments, song, customs, time and place of the show, and audiences. In the procession of Maantaan Kambiang, Ronggeng presented was in the form of musical show that consisted of some musical instruments to accompany the Ronggeng songs. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the presentation of a single organ at the wedding receptions in Nagari Talang Koto Pulai Tapan. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with human research instrument is an instrument. The study was conducted on February 15, 2014 in Nagari Talang Koto Pulai Tapan, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The results of the study found that a single organ music presented on the third day after the marriage / wedding receptions. The place that used only a small stage that rested on the right, left, front of the house or if the yard of a house narrow the taking of the road. Presentation time during the day and at night. Presentation time daylight hours ranged from 9:00 a.m. to 17:00 am and evening hours ranging from 9:00 p.m. to 03:00 am. The singer who is a singer who has a stunningly good singers sound management provided by a single organ and a singer of songs in the show as diverse as pop, Minang, dangdut, kasidah. In the evening the songs presented are also an assortment of mixed again with dj, house and also Remik. Every single organ always presenting a rendition of 'Night bainai'. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe the implementation of learning ensamble music at 7th grade in MTs Lubuk Kilangan, Padang. The type of research was qualitative research with the descriptive analysis approach which was carried out in MTs Lubuk Kilangan. The object of the research was the implementation of learning ensamble music. The research instrument was the researcher itself and assisted by the supporting instruments such as stationery and photo cameras. The technique of data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study showed that in the process of planning of learning ensamble music has not been run in accordance with the lesson plan. Since there are several indicators of learning that are not reached, in the implementation of learning, the students and teachers became obstructed due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure of learning ensamble music, such as musical instruments, whiteboards, books and modules/students’ worksheet as well as classroom that are not adequate yet. It caused the result of students’ assessment was not perfect and it could be seen from the results of students who did not achieve the minimum passing standards. From the result of the study, it was only half the students who passed it. Then, in the implementation of this learning activity, students have not been able to play a musical instrument with the right technique. Keywords: Ensamble music, Learning implementation.

Abstract

Abstract   This research was aimed at revealing the use of modeling method to improve the student’ skill in playing recorder.The subject of the research was the students in class VIII6of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pariaman registered in academic year 2012-2013. This was a classroom action research.The result of the research indicated that there was an improvement on the student’ learning achievement after the method applied. In pre-cycle, the average score of the students was 68,14286 and it improved into 73,85714 in the first cycle. In the second cycle it became 82. Thus, it can be concluded that the modeling method could be used to help the students in learning.   Keyword: teacher, student,  recorder music,modeling method.

Abstract

This Research was aimed at finding and describing community’s perception towards the Krinok performances in wedding receptions at village Rantau Embacang in Bungo Regency. The perception was viewed from the perspectives of four community elements, i.e. audience, players, function organizers, and community figures. Data Collection was performed through observation, interviews, documentation, and library research. The result of The Research indicated that Krinok performances at wedding receptions in village Rantau Embacang were an entertaining art, containing communicative quatrain poems. Krinok was in possession of typical rhythm and melody; the sound and the lyrics of Krinok chant conveyed certain meanings for the locals. Krinok reflected community’s social values, an art that united the community and revealed teachings or guidance in life through its lyrics. Keywords: Community Perception, Krinok Performances

Abstract

Abstract   This research was aimed at describing the perception of the people toward Gandang Tambua show in Desa Talago Sariak Kecamatan Pariaman Timur. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The data was collected through library study, observation, questionnaires and interview. The result of the research indicated that the people had positive perception toward the Gandang Tambua show and expected that this should be perpetuated and developed in the future. The figures of the society, the youth and the local government were suggested to work cooperatively to promote this art show as one of the typical characteristics of Pariaman especially Desa Talago Sariak.   Kata Kunci:   Persepsi, Gandang Tambua.

Abstract

Abstract This research was aimed at describing the implementation of Peer-Tutor method in Recorder class at SMPN I Patamuan. This was a qualitative research. The data of the research was collected through observation, interview and library study. The result of the research showed that the use of Peer-Tutor method in Ambilkan Bulan Bu song could improve the students’ learning achievement. This could be seen from the students’ average score which was above the Minimum Standart Score (75) indicating that the learning outcome was 100% achieved. Key word: Recorder clas, Peer-Tutor.

Abstract

Abstract The study aims was to describe the application of cooperative learning method in the subjects of art and culture on class VIII.3 in SMP Negeri 26 Padang. The main data sources in this study were students who had given cooperative learning method. Technique of data collection was done by using techniques such as observation, interview, results of the study and library research. This study used a qualitative approach. In applicating the cooperative learning method, there were some steps as follows: in the first meeting, teacher explained traditionalal music material, as well as the divided of the group. The second meeting, teachers shared a sub material which would be discussed by each group. In the third meeting, each group presented the results of their discussion. The last one was teachers provided daily trials to evaluate learning process. The results of this study showed that the process and learning outcomes of the art and culture materials with traditional music styles which were implemented on class VIII.3 by using cooperative learning method was very helpful in improving results of study and cooperation among group members. A structured learning plan could motivate the learners so that the learners ddi not get bored with learning that teachers provide. Giving the learning facilities to the learners and groups, giving a reward and assessment to individuals and groups could stimulate the learners in order to faster understanding and it was able to give motivation to the learners in achieving purpose of learning. Key Words: Application, Cooperative Learning Method, Art and Culture

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using a model of cooperative learning with the principal instrument is there searcher himself. Data collection tool is the observation sheet and test learning. Observation sheet used to determine the level of achievement of students after completion of the study.The purpose of this study is to describe the application of learning Cooperative Learning Model to improve if the vocal students in class XIIAI1 MAN Lubuk Alung. The study consisted of two cycles, and each cycle of the last meeting held on valuation. The researchers' findings of increased class XI student learning outcomesIAI1 after applying a model of cooperative learning in teaching practice if the vocals roman average initial value of69.2% to 80.94% with the thoroughness of individuals up to 100%.   Kata kunci: abylity, vocal,  modeling, stad.

Abstract

Abstract The article was aimed at raveling the function of Dikia Rapano in Moanta Marapole during a wedding reception at Nagari Ujung Gading Lembah Melintang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. The design of the research was qualitative using descriptive method. The data were obtained through library research, observation, interview and documentation. The data was analyzed by classifying and arranged them systematically. The research findings showed that the music instrument Dikia Rapano was used in Moanta Marapole during a wedding reception, that was when the groom wore the traditional wedding dress, led to the bride house in the wedding procession, and then both of the bride and the groom went around the neighborhood. The functions of Dikia Rapano were (1) as an entertainment (2) as a media for communication (3) as a physical respond and (4) as a media of certain ceremony.   Kata kunci: Fungsi, Musik, Dikia, Rapano
