Abstract

In the 21st century it is expected to form comparative, innovative, creative, competitive and collaborative people. In the 2013 curriculum which was revised in 2017 contained important points, including the following: 1) strengthening of character education or what we often refer to as PPK. 2) attachment 4C consisting of the ability of creativity (creativity), critical thinking (critical thinking), collaboration (collaboration), and communicating (communication). 3) Literacy. 4) Higher Level Thinking Skills (HOTS). Where I focus more on 4C skills. Reality on the ground does not match the expected conditions. This is obtained from the results of preliminary studies that have been carried out in three high schools in Padang, it appears that in the physics learning process the school has implemented the 2013 curriculum, but according to some teachers the learning process is more comfortable using the friction instruction method. During the learning process the school has used LKS. Use of worksheets will be done if only practicing, while the question is still using worksheets sold by publishers. In the 21st century skills in the application learning process are not maximized nor are worksheets used. Only 21st century skills have been applied to learning, namely collaboration and communication skills. Though critical thinking skills and creativity are quite difficult to apply. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The data source in this study was obtained from the results of validation by 3 validators by giving questionnaire instrumentation which contained six assessment components, namely the feasibility of supporting material content, problem solving models, 4C skills, language feasibility, feasibility of presentation, feasibility of presentation, feasibility of presentation, Graphic LKS. Based on the results of the study, the results of the validation of problem solving-based worksheets in improving 4C skills on thermodynamics and mechanical waves were 83.27%.

Abstract

Communication skill, collaboration, critical thinking is a demand in education of this 21th century, because these skills are needed by student to compote against global competition, so that the education is a top priority in realizing high-skilled students. In order to have these skills, teacher can use learning models that support students in achieving 4C skills that are assisted by a learning device. It is not easy to achieve these skills, especially in learning physics. Student could only understand the formula but their ability in the process of problem solving and determining the use of formula appropriately was still low. This was because students were still fixated on the sample questions which was given by the teacher. Researcher are interested in creating a product based on problem solving syntaxes in which each syntax integrates4C skills. This study aims to produce a valid and practical worksheet to use. Abstract

One of the goals of learning is that students' cognitive abilities increase. In an effort to improve cognitive abilities, there are times when students need to get guidance so that their thinking skills increase from the average ability they have. One form of guidance is the scaffolding strategy. This study aims to overcome these problems by producing student worksheets based on scaffolding strategies to improve cognitive abilities, and determine their worth in terms of validity and practicality. This research was conducted in class X SMAN 2 Pariaman in odd semester 2019/2020. This research is a type of research and development (R & D) using the 4D development model which is reduced to 3D (define, design and development). The student worksheet developed involved 5 validators and 2 physics teachers as practitioners and 1 class to test practicality. Instruments of validity and practicality are used after going through discussions with the validator with indicators of development goals. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis using the moment kappa formula. Abstract

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes a learning process that is student-centered, active, interactive and integrated with a scientific approach. One supporting factor for the creation of learning is the availability of good learning resources. However, the reality in the field of learning resources used is not in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum, does not meet the needs of students, and does not fully meet the criteria for good teaching materials. Teaching material used in the form of printed teaching materials that contain subject matter and questions only, without the scientific approach that includes it. Teaching materials that utilize technology are still in separate forms such as videos, animations, images, which have not been packaged in a single unit (not yet interactive). Therefore, it is necessary to design teaching materials that utilize technology such as Android on smartphones. This study aims to produce products in the form of android-based teaching materials for learning physics in sound wave material, light waves and valid optical devices. This research focuses on making an Android-based teaching material product in the form of an interactive module in accordance with the steps of making teaching material in the form of a module according to the Ministry of National Education (2010).
