Abstract

Abad 21 merupakan era globalisasi yang ditandai dengan pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan pada pengembangan keterampilan 4C yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik. Namun, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kebutuhan gaya belajar peserta didik belum terpenuhi. Berdasarkan kesenjangan ini, dikembangkan e-modul kinematika gerak terintegrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi gaya belajar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4-D. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung, SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung, dan SMAN 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung. E-modul dilakukan uji validasi, uji praktikalitas, dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa e-modul sangat valid dengan rata-rata indeks Aiken sebesar 0,91, sangat praktis dengan persentase rata-rata respon guru 96%, dan persentase rata-rata respon peserta didik 98%. Kemudian, uji efektivitas memperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,89. Sehingga e-modul kinematika gerak terintegrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi gaya belajar yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Based on observations and interviews with a science teacher at a junior high school in Pesisir Selatan Regency, it is known that there are still many science teachers who have not carried out practicum activities in scientific learning. Science kits are rarely used by teachers in science learning. The main reason is that the competence of science teachers in operating the science kit is still low. To improve the competence of science teachers in using KIT, it is very necessary to carry out activities to optimize the use of KIT for science teachers. The purpose of this study was to improve the competence of science teachers in using IPA KIT as a support for scientific learning. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest using multiple choice test instruments at the beginning and at the end of the study. From the results of this study, it is known that there is an increase in the competence of science teachers in using science kits, with the percentage increase of 29.25%.

Abstract

During learning from home, the teacher is very limited in giving feedback on assignments. Consequently, students’ understanding of physics concepts is still low and experiencing misconceptions. Therefore, teachers should able to develop an interactive recitation program completed by corrective feedback that could remediate students’ misconceptions. The research objective is to improve the competence of physics teachers at Sijunjung Regency through mentoring in developing an interactive recitation program. This sort of research is quasi-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. The research data was obtained from the pretest and posttest about understanding of the interactive recitation programs. The results showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of high school physics teachers in understanding the interactive recitation program with a percentage of 32.4%, and the provision of mentoring activities have a significant effect on increasing the competence of physics teachers in developing interactive recitation programs.

Abstract

Physics learning should be equipped with technology-assisted student worksheets following the demands of the 2013 curriculum and contain steps in the scientific approach. This study aimed to produce electronic student worksheets based on liveworksheets on sound waves. This research is development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was conducted in a school in Salimpaung. Data collection is based on product validation and trial results. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The validation results of the three validators who rated it gave an average score of 87.4% in the "highly valid" category. The result of the product trial by 25 students achieved an average score of 91% with the criteria of "very practical ."Student understanding seems to increase after using electronic student worksheets. Thus, the products developed are easy and interesting to use in learning physics and can increase student understanding. It is suggested that future researchers develop electronic student worksheets on different materials.

Abstract

Education is a basic need that must be done by every human being. In education, the Discovery Learning model is one of the innovative and appropriate models used in physics learning because this model prioritizes student discovery of the knowledge gained. The identification of problems expressed include: 1) The application of the learning model is not yet fully perfect; 2) Some students do not provide feedback to the teacher who teaches; 3) Student learning outcomes are still fairly low; 4) Student errors in understanding physics material; 5) The mechanics material used is momentum and impulse, and simple harmonic vibrations. Furthermore, the problem limitations used include: 1) Some students do not give feedback to the teacher; 2) Student learning outcomes are still fairly low; 3) The mechanics material used is momentum and impulse, and simple harmonic vibrations. This type of research is descriptive research that aims to determine the needs of the discovery learning model in the school under study. The research instrument was made with a questionnaire addressed to 2 physics teachers and students of class X Natural Science 1 - X Natural Science 6, an interview sheet addressed to 2 physics teachers. The data obtained that the discovery learning model has been applied and to determine the need for discovery learning models in learning, it is analyzed through student responses and teacher readiness with existing facilities and infrastructure. The advantages are effective to increase student activeness and the weaknesses are not all physics material that can be applied with the learning model, some students are still passive, limited time and student understanding is still low.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKPD Berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) di materi Alat Optik kelas XI SMA/MA yang valid serta praktis. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan metode model pengembangan ADDIDE. Proses pengembangan di penelitian ini dibatasi sampai uji praktikalitas yang terdapat pada tahap implementasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh 3 orang dosen fisika FMIPA UNP. Praktikalitas dilaksanakan oleh 2 guru dan 35 peserta didik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan, di hasilkan produk berupa LKPD Berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi Alat Optik kelas XI SMA/MA. Hasil validitas dengan 3 orang validator didapat rata- rata nilai ialah 81,71 % dengan nilai valid. Melainkan hasil praktikalitas berdasarkan penilaian guru didapat rata-rata 84,73% dan peserta didik 78,4%. Maka, LKPD Berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) di materi Alat Optik kelas XI SMA/MA yang didapat sudah layak diujicobakan pada lapangan yang sesungguhnya sebab sudah dinyatakan valid serta praktis.

Abstract

Pendidikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia agar dapat bersaing di tingkat global. Dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, siswa didorong untuk aktif dalam merancang proses pembelajaran mereka sendiri dengan memanfaatkan berbagai media. Media ini memberikan fleksibilitas bagi siswa untuk belajar sesuai dengan gaya dan kecepatan masing-masing. Namun, video animasi yang tersedia saat ini masih kurang efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video animasi dengan menggunakan Wondershare Filmora yang valid dan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil dari penerapan model pengembangan 4D menunjukkan validitas rata-rata 86, yang menunjukkan bahwa media ini sangat valid dan siap untuk penelitian lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan adalah proses pembelajaran. Dalam proses tersebut, penting bagi guru untuk memperhatikan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan agar dapat menarik perhatian siswa. Agar siswa dapat belajar fisika dengan lebih efektif, guru perlu memahami cara memilih metode pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Sayangnya, masih banyak sekolah yang menerapkan metode tradisional, yaitu guru mendominasi pembicaraan sementara siswa hanya mendengarkan. Salah satu cara agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan adalah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran khusus, seperti STAD dan Jigsaw. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada topik usaha dan energi pada Kelas XI Fase F di SMAN 1 Padang Ganting. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Kelas XI Fase F, dan sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling. Kelas XI F1 ditetapkan sebagai Kelas Eksperimen 1, sedangkan Kelas XI F2 ditetapkan sebagai Kelas Eksperimen 2. Fokus utama penelitian adalah pada penilaian pengetahuan siswa, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui tes. Metode analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD adalah 73%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw sebesar 71%. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 24,42, lebih besar dari nilai t tabel sebesar 1,99. Karena nilai t hitung lebih besar dari nilai t tabel (24,42 > 1,99), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam peningkatan pemahaman konseptual siswa antara model pembelajaran STAD dan Jigsaw.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the topics that become students' misconceptions in kinematics, the causes that can trigger misconceptions, and the remediation used to overcome these misconceptions. The method used in this research was the systematic review method. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the biggest misconception among students was in straight motion. Several causes trigger the emergence of misconceptions in kinematics, where the causes that often arise come from the students themselves, namely, students' preconceptions or initial conceptions, students' abilities, students' cognitive development stages, wrong intuitions, and students' reasoning.  The remediation that was often used to remediate misconceptions was the use of learning models, for instance, generative models.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding is one of the physics learning objectives that can support students' thinking skills. Understanding of concepts in physics learning is very important for students, so that learning outcomes can be achieved maximally. This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of students' concepts on the topic of Newton's law of motion. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. The research was at SMAN 4 Padang, SMAN 6 Padang, and SMAN 12 Padang West Sumatera. The total sample was 218 students. The five-tier multiple choice questions was used as a research instruments. Before the questions were used, the questions were tested first in different schools with the aim of knowing the validity, reliability, difficulty level, and distinguishing power of the items. After testing, 14 questions were obtained that could be used in this study. The results showed that 13.37% of students scienctific conception, 9.53% of almost scientific conception, 42.01% of students lack of confidence, 30.14% of students have misconceptions, 0.98% of students have no conception, and 3.96% of students have undefined. Based on these results, it can be concluded that students' conceptual understanding of Newton's law of motion material is still low.
