Abstract

This study aims to prove the validity test and estimate the instrument's reliability to measure student achievement in the department of architectural engineering education in Indonesia. The cluster random sampling technique was used to determine the number of students consisting of 103 vocational education students. This study uses a survey method to examine and analyze the structure of students' competency achievements factors. The collected empirical data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). EFA test is intended to reveal factors that can be formed from instruments that have been established for measurement of achievements of vocational student competencies. The analysis results using EFA showed that the instrument had good construct validity. The result of this research shows that the instrument test for measuring the achievement of student competencies has good reliability and consists of 30 competency items covering ten competency aspects, namely general competencies, technical drawing, statically structures, basic building construction, land measurement engineering, software application and building interior design, road and bridge construction, estimated construction costs, building construction and utility, creative and entrepreneurship product competencies.

Abstract

Kegiatan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang berbasis kompetensi dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas lulusan siswa SMKN 2 Wonosari dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan guru produktif SMKN 2 Wonosari di bidang pengembangan instruksional, khususnya pengembangan instruksional melalui hasil penelitian tindakan kelas.Metode kegiatan yang dipilih antara lain: metode ceramah, latihan mandiri terbimbing, pendampingan peserta, dan presentasi hasil. Langkah-langkah kegiatan terdiri atas: pembuatan materi, mempersiapkan alat dan bahan yang digunakan, serta melakukan pelatihan serta drafting PTK. Kegiatan diselenggarakan di luar jam pembelajaran dan tidak mengganggu proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah. Pola evaluasi meliputi evaluasi selama proses pelatihan dan evaluasi hasil.Hasil kegiatan antara lain: peserta pelatihan sebagian besar masih memerlukan pelatihan pengembangan lainnya, terutama untuk pengembangan penelitian tindakan kelas; terdapat penambahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru-guru SMKN 2 Wonosari, terutama dalam implementasi penelitian tindakan kelas serta dapat digeneralisasikan pada kelas lain yang mempunyai karakteriktis sama.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui: 1) peranan capaian Pembelajaran Mikro terhadap minat menjadi guru di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi: 1) peran capaian Pembelajaran Mikro terhadap minat menjadi guru di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan; 2) peran capaian Praktik Kependidikan terhadap minat menjadi guru di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan; 3) Minat untuk menjadi guru di program studi Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan dipengaruhi oleh capaian Praktik Kependidikan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dan ex post facto digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena variabelnya telah terjadi, sehingga variabel bebas dan tidak terikat dikendalikan secara langsung oleh penelitian. Populasi adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan yang sudah melaksanakan Pembelajaran Mikro dan Praktik Kependidikan, berjumlah 90 mahasiswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 72 mahasiswa. Korelasi Kendall’s tau digunakan sebagai teknik analisis karena data tidak berdistribusi secara nornal. Hasil uji hipotesis didapat: 1) meskipun ada hubungan positif, tetapi tidak ada signifikansi yang teramati antara minat menjadi guru dan pencapain Pembelajaran Mikro, dengan koefisien korelasi τ = 0,095 dan nilai p hitung = Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,319 α = 0,05; 2) begitu juga, terdapat hubungan positif namun tidak signifikan antara minat menjadi guru dan capaian Praktik Kependidikan, dengan koefisien korelasi τ = 0,072 dan nilai p hitung = Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,454 α = 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat menjadi guru mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan tidak dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh capaian Pembelajaran Mikro dan Praktik Kependidikan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari program  vueer ini ialah untuk membantu pemeeahan masalah yang dihadapiolei. industri keeil  UD ROSE KURNIA DALAM pekerjaan mengayak eampuran  kopi jahe bubuk yang produksinya. Dengan program vueer diharapkan pula meningkatkan produktifitas serta mutu dari kopi jahe.Metode pelaksanaan vueer ini meliputi perancangan dan proses pembuatan mesin ayak. Proses reneangan meIiputi : (l)  Mendisain gambar reneana, (2) Reneana kebutuhan bahan, (3) Perhitungan rencana anggaran biaya pelaksanaan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi : (1) Pembuatan mesin, (2) Teori dan eeramah, (3) Demonstrasi, (4) Uji eoba laboratorium dan lapangan, dan (4) Praktik pengoperasian mesin oleh karyawan industri mitra kerja.Hasil Program berupa mesin ayak kopi jahe bubuk kerkerangka dari bahan besi siku 50 x50 x 5 mm dan 30 x 30 x 3 mm, ukuran mesin total panjang 60 em, lebar 39 em, dan tinggi 100em dengan kekuatan mesin motor listrik 0,5 HP berkapasitas putaran 1400 RPM, Berdasarkan perhitungan terdapat  perbedaan hasil pengayaan yang menggunakan messin pengayaka yang menggunakan mesin pengayak secara mekanik dengan ayakan manual dan tingkat efisiensi biaya sebesar 83,33 %. Keselamatan dapat diatasi dengan selalu melakukan urutan kerja dengan arahan Tim Pelaksana Kegiatan Program Vueer pada kegiatan demonstrasi pada saat penggunaan alat berlangsung. Kebisingan suara mesin dapat diatasi dengan memberikan  peredam dari bahan karet.Kata kunci : Mesin ayak, kopi jahe, dan gerak sentrifugal.

Abstract

The   voucher    program    entitled    "Manufacturing      Ornamental     Stone   Cutting Machine   for Small  Building  Ornament   Industries"   aims to increase  productivity   of the CY. PURBA   KRIAST A especially   in cutting  ornamental   stone  being  produced.   It also wants  to know  the  size and  productivity   of such  ornamental   stone  machine.The    steps    of   this   manufacturing      ornamental     stone    cutting    machine    areplanning,    machine    manufacturing,     and   training   for  industry   partner   workers.    The planning   step  includes   : (1) designing   machine   plan  draft,  (2) calculating   the  needed materials,   and  (3)  calculating   the  implementation    cost.   The  machine-manufacturing step  includes:    (1)  material   cutting  to  fit the  work  draft,  (2) welding,   (3) assembling, (4) electric   installation.   (5)  machine   performance    test,  and  (6)  painting.   The  training for   industry    partner    workers    consists    of   :  (1)   theory    and   speech    delivery,    (2) demonstration     of  machine    using,   and   (3)  machine    using   practice   by  the   industry partner  workers.The  result  of the voucher  program   is realization   of an ornamental   stone  cutting machine    and   skill   achievement     by  the   industry   partner   workers    in  the   machine operation.   The  ornamental   stone  cutting  machine  was made  of right-angled   iron frame sizing  80x80x7   mm,  50x50x5  mm,  and  30x30x3   mm,  combined   with  steel  plate  of 3 rnrn  thick.   The  machine   size  is  120  em  length,   60  em  width,   and   190  em  height, moved  by a  1 phase  electric   motor  power   SEM  of  1 HP  and  rotation   speed  of  2800RPM.   The  cooling   system   uses  water  moved   by  an  aquarium   pump.   The  machine performance    and  productivity   especially   for  cutting  straight   forms  has  speed    of 8 to10 times  faster  compared   with  manual  cutting  having  been  done  lip till now.Key words:   stone cutting  machine,  and  small ornamental   stone industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the production efficiency of making bamboo handicraft product by using dryer. The dryer as a tool that can overcome this problems are discussed starting from assembly, specifications, operating guidelines, and test try. Planned dryer basically consists of the heating room and heating units. Heating room made of masonry walls plastered with cement on the outside and inside of the room walls. There are two door to enter the heat product. Two glass window, which serve as monitors heating conditions. Two thermometers was placed on glass window. Result dryer manufacture process has been tested with results as follows: has created a dryer the size of the heating room 3 m x 6 m x 2.25 m, a wall of brick covered with cement, and the ceiling is made of asbestos. Heating unit has dimensions of 40 cm x 40 cm x 60 cm. Heating unit is heated by LPG gas stoves. The results show that a heating unit capable of heating the room temperature from 30oC to 40oC in 10 minutes. The water content of dried products decreased from 17.1% to about 2.5%. The capacity of the dryer is 300 products. The cost for drying the product is Rp47.33, - per product

Abstract

This research aims to compare the performance of two machine learning algorithms, Naive Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN), in predicting the freshness of milkfish (Chanos chanos) at fish auctions. Predicting fish freshness is an important aspect to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. The Naive Bayes algorithm, which is based on Bayes' Theorem with the assumption of independence between features, as well as the K-NN algorithm, which uses an instance-based approach to classify data based on proximity to k nearest neighbors, were implemented and tested. Evaluation is carried out using accuracy and Kappa metrics. The results show that Naive Bayes achieved an accuracy of 73.44% with a Kappa value of 0.594, indicating good performance in predicting the freshness of milkfish. In contrast, K-NN shows an accuracy of 68.75% and a Kappa value of 0.461, which means its performance is lower compared to Naive Bayes. Further analysis revealed that Naive Bayes is more computationally efficient and faster at making predictions, making it better suited for real-time applications at fish auctions. However, Naive Bayes has limitations in assuming feature independence which may not always be true in real-world situations. On the other hand, K-NN although more flexible and capable of capturing complex patterns in data, tends to be slow and requires optimization of parameters such as k values ​​to improve its performance. In conclusion, Naive Bayes is recommended for predicting the freshness of milkfish at fish auctions because of its higher accuracy and reliability. Further research is needed to optimize these two algorithms through parameter adjustments and the use of ensemble methods to improve overall prediction performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the competence of graduates in the S1 curriculum of PTSP UNY in 2020 from aspects of learning outcomes needed by the construction planner industry, knowing the relevance of graduate competencies in the curriculum with the needs of the construction planner industri  and knowing the competencies of graduates based on industry advice that has not been listed in the learning outcomes. This type of research is descriptive quantitative and sample research using  purposive snowball sampling method. Using questionnaire instruments with 55 question points. Data analysis is done with descriptive percentages. The results showed that the competence of graduates in the S1 PTSP UNY curriculum in 2020 judging from aspects of learning outcomes required by the industry consists of four aspects, namely attitude (10 competencies), knowledge (13 competencies), general skills (17 competencies), and specific skills (15 competencies the level of competency relevance of graduates in the 2020 S1 PTSP UNY curriculum on the four aspects of the criteria is very relevant. In the aspect of attitude 89%, knowledge 81.54%, general skills 85.53%, and specific skills 83.20% and additional competencies  based on industri advice is  able to master the survey results and existing conditions.Keywords: relevance of competence, S1 PTSP UNY, curriculum 2020, construction industri, and planners.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi lulusan pada kurikulum S1 PTSP UNY tahun 2020 dari aspek capaian pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan industri bidang perencana konstruksi, mengetahui tingkat relevansi kompetensi lulusan pada kurikulum dengan kebutuhan industri bidang perencana konstruksi dan mengetahui kompetensi lulusan berdasarkan saran dunia industri yang belum tercantum dalam capaian pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive snowball sampling. Menggunakan instrumen angket dengan butir pertanyaan sebanyak 55 butir. Analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi lulusan pada kurikulum S1 PTSP UNY tahun 2020 dilihat dari aspek capaian pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan industri terdiri dari empat aspek yaitu sikap (10 kompetensi), pengetahuan (13 kompetensi), keterampilan umum (17 kompetensi), dan keterampilan khusus (15 kompetensi), tingkat relevansi kompetensi lulusan pada kurikulum S1 PTSP UNY tahun 2020 termasuk dalam kriteria sangat relevan. Pada aspek sikap 89%, pengetahuan 81,54%, keterampilan umum 85,53%, dan keterampilan khusus 83,20% dan kompetensi tambahan berdasarkan saran dunia industri adalah mampu menguasai hasil survei dan kondisi eksisting.

Abstract

Background: The main purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of micro teaching achievements and teaching readiness to teaching practicum achievements in the Civil Engineering and Planning Education Study Program at Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University.Methods: This research is an ex-post facto study. The population of this study was 90 students of the Civil Engineering and Planning Education Study Program, class of 2019, with a sample of 73 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive statistics, prerequisite analysis tests, and multiple regression analysis.Results: The results of the study show that: 1) there is a positive and significant effect of micro teaching achievements to teaching practicum achievements with tcount > ttable (2.480 >1.993943) at a significance level of 5%, 2) there is a positive and significant effect of teaching readiness to teaching practicum achievements with tcount > ttable (25.871 > 1.993943) at a significance level of 5%, 3) there is a positive and significant effect of micro teaching achievements and teaching readiness together to teaching practicum achievements with R2 = 0.966; Fcount > Ftable (1009.222 >3.12576424) at a significance level of 5%. The relative contribution of micro teaching achievements is 7.296% and the effective contribution is 7.05%. The relative contribution of teaching readiness is 92.704% and the effective contribution is 89.58%.Conclusion: There is a positive and significant influence of Micro Teaching Achievements and Teaching Readiness on Teaching Practicum Achievements in the Civil Engineering and Planning Education Study Program with a contribution of 96.63%.
