Abstract

Keberadaan air di bumi mengikuti suatu hukum alam yang disebut daur hidrologi. Daur hidrologi merupakan suatu konsep dasar tentang keseimbangan air secara global dan menunjukkan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan air. Infiltrasi adalah proses masuknya air ke dalam tanah. Wilayah Kabupaten Donggala dilihat dari posisinya di permukaan bumi secara umum, terletak di kawasan hutan dan lembah pegunungan. Data Topografi Kabupaten Donggala menunjukkan bahwasanya dengan tingkat rentang kemiringan lebih dari 40 derajat serta daerah bergelombang sampai berbukit mencakup luas wilayah sebanyak 296.894 ha dengan pesentase sebesar 56,28% serta puncak curah hujan yang tinggi pada bulan Maret dengan 359 mm dan bulan Juni dengan 214 mm berdasarkan Data BPS 2020. Tujuan dari peneltian ini adalah untuk mengetahui laju infiltrasi terhadap sifat fisika tanah pada lahan tanaman durian dan sawit yang ada di Desa Minti Makmur dan memberikan gambaran tentang laju infiltrasi atau masuknya air pada tanah kebun durian dan tingkat kesuburan fisik tanah. Metode pengambilan sampel tanah baik pada kebun durian maupun kebun kelapa sawit terletak masing-masing pada satu kelerengan yang dianggap mewakili kebun durian dan kelapa sawit. Pada lereng dibagi dalam tiga segmen yaitu bagian puncak, pundak dan lembah. Pada setiap segmen diambil 3 sampel tanah utuh dan tidak utuh masing berjarak 10 m sehingga pada setiap kebun diambil 3 x 3 = 9 sampel tanah utuh/tidak utuh. Jumlah total sampel tanah dengan demikian ada 18 sampel tanah utuh/tidak utuh. Untuk pengukuran infiltrasi dilakukan pada segmen yang sama dengan pengambilan sampel tanah, hanya saja penetapan titik pengamatan di setiap segmen diatur sedemikan rupa sehingga berada diantara dua tajuk pohon durian maupun kelapa sawit. Model infiltrasi kebun durian puncak tergolong paling lambat, model infiltrasi kebun durian pundak tergolong agak lambat dan model infiltrasi kebun durian lembah yakni agak lambat. Model infiltrasi kebun sawit puncak dalam tingkat sedang, tidak lambat namun juga tidak cepat. Model infiltrasi kebun sawit pundak cukup cepat jika di antara wilayah lainnya. Hasil analisis sifat fisika tanah pada lahan durian didominasi tekstur liat, berporos baik, memiliki bahan organik dengan kriteria sedang dan bobot isi tergolong ringan. Kemudian pada lahan sawit didominasi oleh tekstur liat berdebu, porositas kriteria poros, bahan organik tinggi dan bobot isi tergolong ringan. Penelitian ini dapat membantu penelitian selanjutnya yang di mana penelitian tersebut lebih lengkap lagi baik dalam hal Fisika tanah Maupun Biologi dan juga Kimia Tanah. Sehingga kedepannya dapat dijadikan sumber informasi yang lebih lengkap.

Abstract

Bioindicators have been widely accepted as useful tools for monitoring and detecting changes in the environment or habitat condition. By using bioindicators, it is possible to assess the impact of human activities on the biota, instead of examining the entire biota. In this paper we analyzed diversity of dung beetles (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) across land use gradient inCentral Sulawesi and tested the suitability of dung beetles as bioindicators for environmental changes. Ninety baited pitfall trapswere placed and several habitat parameterswere measured at five land-use types ranging from natural forest to cacao agroforestry systems to open areas in 2009 and 2012. The effectiveness of dung beetles as bioindicators of environmental changes was evaluated by the IndVal method, a method combining the specificity and fidelity of certain species with particular types of habitat or environmental conditions. Surprisingly, the results showed that the diversity of dung beetles in two types of cacao plantations were similar to the forest sites and were significantly higher than the open cultivated area. Of the 16 dung beetles species analyzed only four species could be suggested as indicator (characteristic) species while the majority of collected species were categorized as detector species. Two of them (Copris saundersi and Onthophagus forsteni) were associated with natural forest and cacao agroforestry system, thus were suggested as the indicator of shaded and cooler habitats whereas O. limbatus and O. trituber can be suggested as indicator of unshaded and warmer habitats (bare land area).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the philosophical implications of work productivity in human life, which is closely related to time management, responsibility, and the quality of good deeds. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research. This approach was chosen because the research focuses on conceptual and philosophical studies of work productivity from an Islamic perspective. The results show that work productivity is not only understood as the ability to produce maximum output, but also as a form of devotion to Allah SWT. Islam views work as worship when it is based on sincere intentions, carried out in a legal manner, and aims to benefit oneself and society. Islamic philosophical values such as monotheism, trustworthiness, ihsan, and justice are the main foundations for building a productive and sustainable work ethic. The concept of work in Islam emphasizes a balance between material and spiritual aspects, so that productivity is not solely measured by economic results but also by the moral values and blessings generated. Thus, Islamic philosophy offers a paradigm of work productivity that is holistic, humanistic, and oriented towards happiness in this world and the hereafter.
