Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran means ends analysis (MEA) terhadap kemampuan menalar deduktif mahasiswa ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian posttest only group control design. Objek penelitian sebagai populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika FMIPA UNJ yang mengambil mata kuliah geometri euclid. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sample adalah multistage random sampling. Sedangkan pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan representasi matematis, tes kemampuan menalar deduktif, teknik analisis data menggunakan two-way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menalar deduktif mahasiswa yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran MEA secara keseluruhan lebih tinggi dibanding mahasiswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu juga terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan representasi matematis yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan menalar deduktif. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa kemampuan menalar deduktif mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan representasi matematis tinggi yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran MEA lebih tinggi dibanding siswa diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional, sedangkan pada kelomok siswa yang memiliki kemampuan representasi matematis rendah, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menalar deduktif yang signifikan antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran MEA dan siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ errors in solving the problem of essay test for comparative material based on the type of errors, describe the causes of students making errors, and conduct individual tutoring to minimize and overcome students’ errors. This is action research that conducted in three cycles with Research Subject (RS) for four students of class VIII F SMPN 232 Jakarta. Each RS represents one type of error based on the results of error analysis on initial test that given during pre-cycle, successive factual error, conceptual error, operation error, and principle of error. The instruments used in this study were initial test, end-cycle tests, documentation tools, interview guidelines, tutor guidelines, observation sheets, and field notes. The data was analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that in cycle I, RS1 still made a factual error, RS2 also made a conceptual error, while RS3 and RS4 had not made any errors. In cycle II and III, RS1, RS2, RS3, and RS4 had not made any errors. The cause of the factual error is lack of thoroughness. The cause of the conceptual error is not understanding the concept of the comparison type. The cause of the operation error is lack of thoroughness and haste. The cause of the principle of error is lack of thoroughness. It can be concluded that individual tutoring can minimize and overcome students’ errors in solving the problem of essay test for comparative material. Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials that have been produced by the application of the learning model Means Ends Analysis in the form of Classroom Action Research. The development carried out in this study resulted in Euclid Geometry teaching materials based on KKNI to improve cognitive analytical skills and deductive reasoning of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta. There were five steps carried out in developing this teaching material, including initial research, collecting data and information on needs, planning changes to teaching materials, developing early teaching materials, field trials, and revisions. The teaching material developed is suitable for use in Euclid's Geometry learning because it has passed the expert validation process. Also, this teaching material has been tested on students who have been and are currently taking Euclid's Geometry courses. This concludes that Euclid Geometry teaching materials based on KKNI are feasible and can be used as a handbook for students in taking Euclid Geometry courses in the Mathematics Education Study Program of FMIPA UNJ. Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of mistake and causes of the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta TP. 2019/2020 made a mistake in solving the problem of an algebraic function derivative application. The method of this research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data was obtained by conducting tests and interview online. The respondents were drawn from 6 XI class in SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. Each student's work was analyzed to describe the types of mistakes using the Newman analysis procedure, then an interview was conducted to describe the factors that caused students to make mistakes. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the types of mistakes found when students solve problems in the application of algebraic function derivatives are 1) reading mistakes, that is, incorrectly writing the functions listed in the questions, 2) mistakes in understanding, in the form of misinterpreting what is known and asked about, 3) transformation mistakes, in the form of students' inability to choose procedures to solve problems appropriately, 4) process skill mistakes, in the form of incomplete student work, miscalculation, 5) conditioning mistakes, in the form of students' inability to show the final answer. The contributing factors are that students do not understand the derivative application material of algebraic functions, students are in a hurry to solve the problems, different types of questions given are different from the questions exemplified by the teacher, and rarely make conclusions at the end of the answer. Abstract

Background. Distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the landscape of mathematics learning as a whole. One of the mathematics learning models that offer new concepts in distance learning is generative learning model. The Aim of the Research. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of generative learning models in improving students' mathematical understanding abilities. The appropriate research method to test the effectiveness is quasi-experimental design because the class being experimented with is not changed, so that it does not have much effect on overall learning stability. The research sample used cluster random sampling technique where class X MIPA 3 was the experimental class while class X MIPA 2 was the control class. The research instrument used was a test of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in the material of Logarithmic Equations as many as seven essay questions. Conclusion. There is an effect (high) of the generative learning model on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts applied to the distance learning system at Al-Azhar 19 Ciracas Islamic Senior High School logarithmic equation material with a significance level of α = 0.05. Contribution. This study offers a new concept for the application of distance learning mathematics by implementing a generative learning model which in this study has contributed positively to student understanding.   Latar belakang. Pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi COVID-19 telah mengubah lanskap pembelajaran matematika secara keseluruhan. Salah satu model pembelajaran matematika yang menawarkan konsep baru dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah model pembelajaran generatif. Tujuan Penelitian. Penelitian ini akan mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran generatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang tepat untuk menguji keefektifan adalah desain eksperimen semu karena kelas yang diuji tidak mengalami perubahan, sehingga tidak banyak berpengaruh terhadap kestabilan belajar secara keseluruhan. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dimana kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen sedangkan kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi Persamaan Logaritma sebanyak tujuh soal esai. Kesimpulan. Terdapat pengaruh (tinggi) model pembelajaran generatif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diterapkan pada sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh pada materi persamaan logaritma SMA Islam Al-Azhar 19 Ciracas dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Kontribusi. Penelitian ini menawarkan konsep baru penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran generatif yang dalam penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil angket dan wawancara kepada siswa dan guru di SMPN 2 Jakarta, diperlukan media pembelajaran untuk membantu proses pembelajaran secara daring maupun luring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa LKS interaktif dengan RME dilengkapi video berbasis website pada materi SPLDV yang valid untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, materi yang dipilih adalah SPLDV dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah RME. Model yang digunakan adalah modifikasi model 4D yaitu model 3D yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu define, design, dan develop. Produk yang dikembangkan memperoleh penilaian melalui tahap validasi ahli dan uji coba. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data menggunakan mixed methods dengan desain concurrent embedded. Pada validasi ahli, produk memperoleh penilaian sebesar 90,64% dari ahli materi dan bahasa dan sebesar 88,44% dari ahli media. Pada uji coba kelompok kecil, produk memperoleh penilaian sebesar 100% dari uji coba kepada guru dan 94,75% dari uji coba kepada siswa. Pada uji coba kelompok besar, produk memperoleh penilaian sebesar 100% dari uji coba kepada guru dan sebesar 92,99% dari uji coba kepada siswa. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari keseluruhan penilaian yang diperoleh sebesar 94,47% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Oleh karena itu, LKS interaktif dengan RME dilengkapi video berbasis website pada materi SPLDV untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika pada materi SPLDV kelas VIII.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa buku ajar matematika untuk siswa tingkat sekolah menengah kejuruan. Pengembangan buku ajar matematika ini dikarenakan bahan ajar yang digunakan pada tingkat kejuruan masih belum memenuhi kebutuhan kompetensi siswa SMK sehingga pemahaman dan minat siswa terhadap materi matematika kurang . Hal ini diperkuat oleh hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa di SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen, yaitu 86 % siswa menyatakan kesulitan dalam mempelajari matematika serta 68% siswa menyatakan kompetensi yang ingin dicapai dalam penggunaan bahan ajar ialah yang berkaitan dengan bisnis dan manajemen. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, materi yang akan dikembangkan ialah integral dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development yang mengacu pada model Borg & Gall. Bahasa. Buku ajar matematika yang dikembangkan telah melalui proses validasi dan revisi oleh ahli materi dan bahasa dengan nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 87,22% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan validasi ahli media dengan nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 89,64% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kemudian hasil evaluasi guru diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,77% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada hasil uji coba siswa kelompok kecil diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,65% dengan kategori sangat baik dan uji coba siswa kelompok besar diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,47% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sehingga buku ajar matematika yang dikembangkan layak untuk dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 86,15%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa produk multimedia interaktif berbasis android dengan pendekatan kontekstual pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel kelas VIII SMP. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, materi dan pendekatan yang digunakan masing-masing adalah sistem persamaan linier dua variabel dan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, dan merujuk pada model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu 1) Analyze; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; dan 5) Evaluation. Pengembangan produk multimedia interaktif berbasis android menggunakan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator. Produk yang dihasilkan mendapat penilaian dari ahli dengan rincian sebesar 91,5% dari validasi ahli materi dan Bahasa, dan sebesar 83,7% dari validasi ahli media. Penilaian evaluasi uji coba guru kelompok kecil dan besar masing-masing 97,2% dan 97,4%. Penilaian evaluasi uji coba siswa kelompok kecil dan besar masing-masing 95,7% dan 96,67%. Adapun nilai rata-rata keseluruhan produk multimedia interaktif berbasis android berdasarkan validasi dari ahli dan evaluasi uji coba adalah sebesar 93,7% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Sehingga, produk multimedia interaktif berbasis android dengan pendekatan kontekstual dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika materi kelas VIII SMP.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether students who learn to utilize the reciprocal teaching model have a greater understanding of mathematical topics than students who learn to use the problem posing approach. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 97 Jakarta for seventh grade students on the subject of Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel (PLSV). This study was conducted using a quasi-experimental design. A two-stage random sampling method was employed for the sampling process.The first stage is purposive sampling, in this case three classes are selected which are taught by the same teacher. Then the second stage is cluster random sampling, from three classes that are normally distributed, homogeneous and have the same average, two classes are randomly selected as experimental class I (reciprocal teaching model) and experimental class II (problem posing model). The research instrument used was the final test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts on the subject of PLSV as many as 6 questions. Validity testing uses content, construct, and empirical validity. Calculation of the reliability of the instrument using the Cronbach Alpha correlation formula and obtained a reliability coefficient of 0.714 which is classified as high. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test statistics.The result show that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who learn to use the reciprocal teaching model is higher than problem posing model.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of electronic student worksheets based on the Problem-based Learning in trigonometry material for class X Senior High School. This learning media can be used in class or independently. The method used in this study is the research and development method or Research and Development (RnD) which refers to the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). After being tested, the researcher entered the evaluation stage, namely processing the data obtained from the results of the expert validation and trials. The material and language expert validation test scores were 83.33%, media validation tests were 93.48%, teacher validation tests were 99.31%, trials on students in small groups were 91.1%, and trials on students in large groups were 84.2 %. Based on these results obtained an average percentage of 90,284%. From the results of the effectiveness test obtained an average value of 98.27. It can be concluded that Problem-based Learning on trigonometry material can be interpreted as very feasible to be used as learning media for teachers and students.
