Abstract

Tafsir al-Qur’an al-Majid “al-Nur” is a work by T.M.Hasbi Al-Siddieqy, by applying tahlili writing method with tafsir fiqh characteristic, this work is present to meet the demands of Islamic culture development in Indonesia. With Indonesia nuanced interpretation (tafsir) provides convenience for those who do not understand Arabic well, so it can lead Indonesian people practicing the Quran and the Hadith, for the development of religion and nation.

Abstract

Patience is the ability of someone to endure from difficulty of life and to control emotion for the sake ofreaching a target. People are often confronted by collision or condition that bring them into insulation,dissapointment and stress. So that patience can become control of someone personally and socially. Patience does 'not mean surrender bacause it sometime brings someone into fatalism. Patience is a word that covers a whole set of moral values that's most important. In fact, patience is a key for someone to reach success. Qur'an also· suggests human- being to be patient in facing any aspects of life's temptation.

Abstract

The article explorer the difference of the word hijab and veil in the Qur'an verses through semantic analysis. The use of the word hijab for veil clothing is popular and both words are sometimes interpreted in the same meaning without defining the slightest difference with connotation on clothing. Moreover, through a qualitative descriptive analysis process with a lexical-semantic analysis method that used an interpretation variety technique through maudhui method with a research object in al-Qur’an verses which related to the use of the word hijab and veil, it revealed that the two words hijab and veil have a different meaning. The results revealed that the word hijab shows the meaning of covering, boundary or wall, as an intermediary which limited between men and women or between objects with another object, which aimed to prevent adversity (assimilation) with the opposite sex, and the use of the word hijab has been mentioned in the Qur'an eight times scattered in eight surah, and there is no definite editorial found that the meaning of clothes attached to a woman's body. While the use of the veil word is mentioned twice and found in two surahs, which indicated the meaning of clothing that covers the entire body of a woman, even though some people argued except covering the face and palms. Thus, this article is important because it discussed the different meanings of the use of both words in al-Qur'an through Semantic analysis, and it contributed to provide the real meaning and straighten the misunderstanding about those words both terms and understanding the related verses. Artikel ini membahas perbedaan penggunaan kata hijab dan jilbab dalam ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dengan analisis semantik . Penggunaan kata hijab untuk pakaian jilbab menjadi populer dan  kedua kata tersebut  terkadang diartikan sama tanpa memiliki perbedaan sedikitpun dengan berkonotasi pada pakaian. Namun setelah melalui proses analisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis semantik leksikal yang menggunakan pendekatan berbagai teknik interpretasi dalam  metode maudhui dengan obyek penelitiannya pada ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang berkenaan dengan penggunaan kata hijab dan jilbab, ternyata kedua kata tersebut memiliki makna yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata hijab menunjukkan makna tabir, batas atau dinding, sebagai perantara yang membatasi antara pria dan wanita atau antara satu benda dengan benda lainnya, yang bertujuan untuk mencegah ikhtilat (pembauran) dengan lawan jenis, dan dari seluruh penggunaan kata hijab yang disebut dalam al-Qur’an sebanyak delapan kali yang tersebar pada delapan surah,  tidak ditemukan secara pasti redaksi yang menunjukkan makna pakaian yang melekat pada tubuh wanita. Sementara penggunaan kata jilbab yang disebut sebanyak dua kali yang terdapat pada dua surah, keduanya menunjukkan makna pakaian yang menutupi seluruh anggota tubuh wanita, meskipun ada yang memahami kecuali muka dan telapak tangan. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menjadi penting karena mengurai  perbedaan makna penggunaan kedua kata tersebut dengan analisis semantik Qur’ani, dan berkontribusi untuk memberikan pemahaman sehingga tidak terjadi kekeliruan, baik dalam penggunaan term tersebut maupun dalam memahami ayat yang terkait.

Abstract

This research aims to know the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika related to the appreciation of Q.S. Al-Isra:12 in Datara village, Tompobulu district, Gowa regency. This research used descriptive qualitative research using an anthropological approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in the study were the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika was carried out to determine a good time. A good time is applied to every agricultural activity starting from preparation before going to the fields and gardens to work on up to the preparation of the first harvest. The tradition of reading Lontara Kutika is also carried out by the people if they want to determine the time of weddings, banquets and pilgrimage rituals. The timing of the wedding ceremony begins with the timing of the proposal, marriage and the wedding banquet. Meanwhile, determining the good time through the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika at the ritual of the Hajj banquet is carried out in the order of determining when the right time is for the rituals, and determining the time of the rituals for the Hajj. Appreciating Q.S al-Isra: 12 in reading Lontara Kutika in the community of Datara village is a useful activity and is classified as an act that is separated from who did it, because what someone does will be obtained in the future (counted as a reward). The conclusion of the research is that the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika in Datara village community is carried out for the purpose of determining good timing, the texts are read as a reference source of knowledge in determining good timing in various activities of daily life. الملخص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika فيما يتعلق بتقدير Q. آية الأسرة: 12 في تجمع قرية داتارا ، ناحية تومبوبولو ، منطقة جوا. نوع البحث المستخدم في هذا البحث هو بحث نوعي وصفي باستخدام منهج أنثروبولوجي. تقنيات جمع البيانات المستخدمة هي المراقبة والمقابلات والتوثيق. النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها في الدراسة هي تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika لتحديد الأوقات الجيدة. يتم تطبيق التوقيت المناسب على كل نشاط زراعي بدءًا من التحضير قبل النزول إلى الحقول والحدائق إلى العمل حتى إعداد الحصاد الأول. يتم تنفيذ تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika أيضًا من قبل المجتمع إذا كانوا يريدون تحديد وقت الزواج والمآدب مثل حفلات الزفاف وطقوس الحج. يبدأ توقيت مراسم الزفاف بتوقيت العرض والزواج ومأدبة الزفاف. وفي الوقت نفسه ، يتم تحديد الوقت المناسب من خلال تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika في طقوس مأدبة الحج بترتيب تحديد الوقت المناسب للطقوس ، وتحديد وقت طقوس الحج.
