Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada pendekatan Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) dan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada Model Pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedure (CUPs). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi perpustakaan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan mengumpulkan buku dan dokumen berupa jurnal-jurnal yang berkaitan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi 3 langkah berikut: Data Reduction, Data Display, dan Conclusing Drawing. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendekatan Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) dengan model pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedure (CUPs) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa; Pendekatan Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA); Model Conceptual Understanding Procedure (CUPs).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh observasi di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pagojengan 03 yang menemukan adanya 5 korban dan 6 pelaku bullying dari total 45 siswa. Bullying adalah masalah sosial yang sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, dengan dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap kondisi psikis dan fisik siswa. Di Indonesia, kasus bullying di sekolah semakin meningkat dan berdampak pada kesehatan mental anak-anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab, dampak psikis dan fisik, serta layanan yang dapat diterapkan dalam upaya mengatasi dan mencegah bullying di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pagojengan 03. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikis dan fisik siswa. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menerapkan program pendidikan karakter, pelatihan anti-bullying, serta pendekatan restoratif. Selain itu, menampilkan video atau film inspiratif diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman dan inklusif.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student activity and low average scores in IPAS lessons, which is 59.64. Based on the data from 28 students, 8 students scored above 70 and the rest scored below the Minimum Passing Grade. This research aims to develop Canva-based animated video learning media to improve student activity and learning outcomes in 4th-grade IPAS lessons at SD Muhammadiyah Bumiayu. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE method (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The product was tested by media experts, content experts, language experts, and IPAS learning experts and was declared highly suitable for use, achieving an average percentage of 90.8%. In the response test stage, 28 students gave a very good response with an average percentage result of 92.5% for the Canva-based animated video media. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that this Canva-based animated video media is declared highly suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy is one of the essential competencies that students need to develop in preparation for the Academic Competency Test (Tes Kemampuan Akademik/TKA). However, students' numeracy literacy skills remain a challenge in elementary education, requiring teachers to implement effective learning strategies. This study aimed to describe teachers' strategies for improving students' numeracy literacy in preparation for the Academic Competency Test at MI Modern Satu Atap Al-Azhary. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research participants consisted of the principal, sixth-grade teachers, and sixth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that teachers implemented various strategies, including habituation to solving mathematical word problems, a 15-minute reading activity before lessons, the utilization of literacy corners, differentiated practice exercises, peer tutoring, ability-based learning groups, after-school tutoring programs, and collaboration with parents. These strategies contributed to strengthening students' numeracy literacy and improving their readiness for the Academic Competency Test. The study concludes that systematic and continuous implementation of these strategies can support the development of students' numeracy literacy and may serve as a reference for elementary schools in preparing students for the Academic Competency Test.

Abstract

Problem solving ability is an important ability that needs to be developed in elementary mathematics learning. However, teacher centered learning tends to provide limited opportunities for students to understand problems, determine appropriate strategies, carry out solutions, and evaluate the results. This study aimed to determine the effect of the PBL model with a Deep Learning approach assisted by Smart Box media on the problem solving ability of fourth grade elementary school students. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 58 fourth grade students from State Elementary School Ajibarang Wetan, comprising 30 students in the experimental class and 28 students in the control class. Data were collected using an essay test measuring students problem solving ability. Data analysis included normality and homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using an Independent Sample t-Test. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental class was 76.50, while the control class obtained a mean score of 62.89. The hypothesis test resulted in a of 3.2385 and a of 2.003, indicating that the was greater than the . Thus, is rejected and is accepted, indicating a difference in problem solving ability between students who participated in instruction using the PBL model with a Deep Learning approach assisted by Smart Box media and students who underwent conventional instruction.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an Augmented Reality-based Student Worksheet for science learning to improve elementary school students' learning motivation. The study was motivated by students' low learning motivation and the use of conventional teaching materials that were less effective in facilitating the understanding of abstract science concepts. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The participants were 20 fifth-grade students of  Linggapura  04 elementary school. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning motivation questionnaires, then analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, Paired Sample t-test, and N-Gain tests. The results indicated material, media, and language validation scores of 94.6%, 91.2%, and 84.7%, respectively, with a practicality score of 85.87%. The Paired Sample t-test (p = 0.000 < 0.05) and N-Gain score (0.3967, moderate) showed that the developed LKPD was valid, practical, and effective in improving students' learning motivation.
