Abstract

This study aimed to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on the local wisdom of matter substances and their characteristics in order to improve the character of junior high school students. The development research design used was the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used in the study were validation sheets, observation sheets, response questionnaires, and self-assessment questionnaires about characters. The results of the study concluded that LKPD based on local wisdom was appropriate to be used in science learning, included in the practical category so as to make it easier for students to learn, and effectively develop students' character.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi karena kurangnya bahan ajar berbasis digital, sehingga menimbulkan masalah seperti, menurunya literasi membaca pada peserta didik, pembelajaran kurang efektif membuat peserta didik sulit memahami materi pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan, kualitas, respon peserta didik pada bahan ajar chatbot berbasis artificial intelligence materi sistem pencernaan manusia dikelas V SDN 04 Pontianak Timur Tahun ajaran 2022/2023 M. Metode penelitan menggunakan Research and Development (R&D), model 4D Analisis penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan validasi, angket, wawancara semi trustrukur. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi, pedoman wawancara dan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yaitu, data hasil validasi, data hasil wawancara, data hasil angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian 1) proses pengembangan berjalan sesuai dengan prosedur, terdiri 4 tahap yaitu, Define (penetapan), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Disseminate (penyebaran). 2) kualitas dari 3 aspek yaitu materi, software, bahasa mendapatkan nilai validitas 1 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. 3) respon peserta didik pada indikator tampilan respon sangat setuju 83%, setuju 17%. Indikator isi penyajian materi sangat setuju 65%, setuju 35%, penyajian gambar sangat setuju 41%, setuju 59%, penyajian tulisan sangat setuju 62%, setuju 38%. Indikator Bahasa respon sangat setuju 96% , setuju 4%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe product development steps, quality results for the development of chatbot teaching materials, and student responses from the use of chatbot teaching materials on human circulatory system material. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model (define, design, development, dessimate). Product testing was carried out with 28 students of class V SD. The validation test was carried out by two material experts, two software experts, and two language experts. The result was that a value of 1 was obtained in the "very high" category for each validation. Therefore it was concluded that it was valid in developing chatbot teaching materials with material on the human circulatory system for class V SD. Chatbot teaching materials can be used in the process of learning activities. In the method of distributing chatbot teaching materials to fifth grade students, good response results were obtained, so that teaching materials in the form of chatbots on circulatory system material can be declared valid and efficient.

Abstract

This research is research and develoipment (R&D) using the 4D develoipment moidel by Thiagarajan et al with its phases namely define, design, develoipment, and disseminate. The data were oibtained froim validating the eligibility questioinnaire foir teaching materials and student respoinse questioinnaires, validating chatboit teaching material proiducts, and student respoinses. The results shoiwed that the validatioin oif the instrument oibtained a CVI value oif 1 which placed it in the very feasible categoiry. Validatioin by material experts, soiftware experts, and linguists goit a CVI scoire oif 1 in the very high categoiry. As well as student respoinses 63.52% stroingly agree and 36.72% agree. Based oin the results oif the study it can be coincluded that chatboit teaching materials are valid and can be used by students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' higher-order thinking skills on the material of volume of space in class VI SDN 34 Pontianak Kota. The subjects in the study amounted to 94 students taken from three classes taught by mathematics teachers, namely classes VI A, VI B, and VI D. The approach in study used a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The research data was taken by giving a problem analysis test to students who became research subjects. The results showed that as many as 98.2% of students had low higher-order thinking skills and 2.2% had moderate higher-order thinking skills. Students’ low level of thinking ability is caused by several factors and obstacles experienced by students when working on problems. Factors that influence this include students’ lack of motivation to answer the questions given and the lack of practice in working on HOTS questions in the form of story problems. In addition, the obstacles found when students work on problems are not understanding the problem correctly which has an impact on the wrong calculation and determination of the formula used when answering the problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya minat belajar peserta didik kelas III Bawari dalam proses pembelajaran.  Maka dari itu, peneliti menggunakan media komik sebagai sarana untuk menguji minat belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan dengan masalah tersebut, peneliti menawarkan penyelesaian masalah penelitian dengan judul yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Komik Terhadap Minat Belajar Tema 7 Subtema 4 Pembelajaran 6 Kelas III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Bawari Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental design dengan bentuk rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat satu  kelompok saja sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan  lembar angket, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi dan analisis data yang digunakan analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat, uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Penggunaan media komik oleh guru dalam  pembelajaran tema 7 subtema 4 pembelajaran 6 terhadap minat belajar di kelas III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Bawari Pontianak disesuaikan dengan prosedur pelaksanaan dengan persentase 100% dengan kategori sangat baik, 2) Minat belajar peserta didik pada  posttest  diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 91 lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada saat pretest dengan rata-rata sebesar 69. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara minat belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media komik dengan sebelum diberikan perlakuan, 3) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media komik terhadap minat belajar data menunjukkan dari bahwa Hₐ diterima dan H₀ ditolak, 4) Besarnya pengaruh penggunaan media komik terhadap minat belajar dapat dilihat dari uji N-gain dengan nilai sebesar 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This research focuses on the validity and reliability of the Two-Tier Test as a tool to measure misconceptions in science subjects, especially circulatory system material, among MIN students throughout Pontianak City. The research aimed to ensure that the Two-Tier Test used in this research provides valid and reliable results in analyzing student misconceptions through a reliability test. This research contributes to the development of a more specific, accurate and effective evaluation method for detecting misconceptions in science subjects, especially regarding the circulatory system. The research design adopts a Research and Development approach to create reliable measuring tools. The research subjects involved students who had studied the circulatory system material at MIN in Pontianak.  Sampling was carried out using a stratified random sampling technique through a Two-Tier Test and semi-structured interviews regarding the blood circulatory system. Test validity is measured using Gregory's theory, including content, criterion and construct validity. The research results show that the Two-Tier Test has optimal validity and high reliability. A validity score of 1 indicates the instrument's accuracy in measuring the targeted attribute.  The reliability of the test items, with a value of 0.71, is considered acceptable at a high level. The research conclusion shows that the Two-Tier Test is a reliable and consistent instrument for analyzing students' misconceptions, contributing to effective decision making in data analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang pengaruh penggunaan strategi pembelajaran picture and picture dalam mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V MIS Miftahul Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian One-Group PretestPosttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas V yang terdiri dari 15 peserta didik yang sekaligus menjadi sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Lokasi penelitiannya adalah di MI Miftahul Ulum Sungai Raya dan sumber datanya adalah peserta didik. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik Tes (pretest-posttest), lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji normalitas, uji parametrik, uji wilxocon, dan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:terdapat pengaruh penggunan strategi pembelajaran picture and picture dalam mata pelajaran IPA siswa yaitu dengan signifikansi 0,00<0,05. Besaran pengaruh penggunan strategi pembelajaran picture and picture dalam mata pelajaran IPA dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan n-gain dengan hasil 0,4. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunan strategi pembelajaran picture and picture dalam mata pelajaran IPA memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

The background of this study arose from the need to identify and overcome barriers to understanding crucial concepts in the human circulatory system. This study aims to describe the profile of students misconception about the blood circulatory system and their causes in MIN-Kota Pontianak consisting of MIN 1 Pontianak City, MIN 2 West Pontianak, MIN 3 Southeast Pontianak and MIN 1 Filial East Pontianak. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach with a population of all grade VI students. Sampling was done with a proportionally stratified random sampling technique. Data collected using two-tier tests and semi-structured interviews. The research showed that misconception rate in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah throughout Pontianak City is 47.3%. Results also showed that students' misconception profile consists of: a) incorrect understanding of the role of the lungs. b) The function of the foyer and the chambers of the heart. c) incorrect understanding of the difference in the function of blood vessels in the heart and throughout the body. d) incorrect understanding of the role of capillary vessels in the circulatory system. The causes of misconceptions are: a) Inaccurate or inappropriate sources of information, b) The lack of clarity of concepts in the delivery of the material, c) The continuation of the previous class's understanding, d) Random answers or guessing also play a role in the occurrence of misconceptions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectt of applying the Learning cycle 5 E learning model on the science process skills of students on the material of the respiratory system in humans. The research design used is a Quasi Experimental type experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all MIN 2 Pontianak Grade 5 students. Using purposive sampling technique, based on recommendations by the madrasah, namely class 5 C (control) and 5 E (experimental). Based on the results, it can be proven that: 1) Science process skills in the control class obtained a good category on the pretest, and on the posttest obtained a good category. 2) Science process skills in the experimental class obtained a good category on the pretest, and on of the posttest obtained a good category 3) Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the control class and the experimental class with the effect size test results of 0.618, meaning that the application of the 5 E learning cycle model in the experimental class has a moderate influence on the science process skills of students.
