Abstract

The potential of Selar Fish (Selaroides spp.) caught by fishermen in the waters of Donggala Regency requires in-depth study to support sustainable management and ensure its sustainability in the future. This research aims to analyze catch per unit effort (CPUE) as well as the maximum sustainable potential of trevally (Selaroides spp.) in the region. The research location covers three administrative areas, namely Labean Village (Balaesang District), Ogoamas Village (North Sojol District), and Labuan Bajo Village (Banawa District). The research results show that the average trevally production during the 2017-2023 period reached 5,019.06 tons per year, with an average fishing effort of 2,479.66 trips per year. The average catch per attempt (CPUE) was recorded at 2,394.92 tons/trip. Based on analysis using the Schaefer model, the maximum sustainable potential (hMSY) is obtained with a maximum biological production of 6,238 tons per year. Maximum economic profit is achieved at a hMEY production level of 6,152 tons per year, while the equilibrium condition for fisheries in open access (hOAY) occurs at a production level of 2,579 tons per year. In terms of fishing effort, the biologically optimum number of efforts (EMSY) is 3,175 trips per year, economically (EMEY) it is 2,803 trips per year, while in open access conditions (EOAY) it reaches 5,606 trips per year. This data indicates that MEY-based management is more advisable to maximize economic benefits while maintaining the sustainability of trevally resources. These findings can be a basis for policy makers in establishing sustainable fisheries management strategies in the waters of Donggala Regency

Abstract

The important role of seagrass beds as habitat for fish communities, both as nursery ground, feeding ground and shelter. The aim of the research was to determine the association of fish communities in seagrass beds in relation to the characteristics of the seagrass species that make up the seagrass beds. The research was carried out in seagrass beds in the waters of Malahing Village, Bontang City, East Kalimantan from October 2024–February 2025, using a purposive sampling method. Sampling consisted of 2 stations with three repetitions. Fish samples were taken using a trap net and seagrass density using a 50x50cm square frame. The seagrass species found at both stations consisted of E. acoroides and T. hemprichii. The fish species caught consisted of 10 families, 11 genera and 15 species. Fish community association was positively correlated with T. hemprichii density.

Abstract

Seagrass beds are macro and micro habitats for marine aquatic biota. The habitat characteristics formed by seagrass beds are closely related to the species and morphometrics of the species. Enhalus acoroides is a seagrass species that has larger root, rhizome, and leaf morphometrics compared to other seagrass species. This study aims to determine the morphometric characteristics of E. acoroides in the seagrass beds of Malahing Village, Bontang City, East Kalimantan Province. This study was conducted from October 2024 to February 2025. Data collection of E. acoroides, water samples and bottom substrates used a purposive sampling approach divided into 4 stations with 3 replications. Sampling of E. acoroides density used a 50x50cm square frame. Each sample of E. acoroides stands was subjected to morphometric measurements. The density of E. acoroides in the seagrass beds of Malahing Village in the density criteria, the morphometric characteristics of leaves, rhizomes and roots were relatively smaller and associated with the sand bottom substrate.

Abstract

Dalam dinamika bisnis global yang terus berubah, isu Lingkungan, Sosial, dan Tata Kelola (Environmental, Social, and Governance/ESG) telah mengalami pergeseran signifikan dari sekadar kewajiban normatif menjadi elemen strategis yang krusial. Secara historis, praktik akuntansi ESG kerap diposisikan sebagai alat pemenuhan regulasi pelaporan non-keuangan semata. Namun, pendekatan ini dinilai tidak lagi memadai dalam menghadapi kompleksitas tantangan dan ekspektasi pemangku kepentingan masa kini. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi akuntansi ESG secara mendalam ke dalam kerangka strategi bisnis dan proses pengambilan keputusan organisasi. Ditemukan bahwa akuntansi ESG yang bersifat strategis slot zeus berpotensi menjadi motor penggerak inovasi, serta sarana untuk membangun keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan. Tidak hanya berperan dalam mitigasi risiko lingkungan dan sosial, akuntansi ESG juga mampu menciptakan nilai tambah jangka panjang melalui peningkatan efisiensi operasional, reputasi perusahaan, serta kepercayaan investor. Dengan demikian, ESG tidak lagi dipandang sebagai biaya kepatuhan, melainkan sebagai investasi strategis yang berdampak langsung pada kinerja dan keberlanjutan perusahaan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi perlunya pergeseran paradigma dalam memandang akuntansi ESG: dari pendekatan reaktif menuju pendekatan proaktif yang menyatu dengan visi dan tujuan jangka panjang perusahaan

Abstract

Polder Air Hitam terletak di pusat Kota Samarinda dan merupakan kawasan pemukiman. Polder ini awalnya dibangun sebagai pengendali banjir. Selain fungsi tersebut, polder ini memiliki fungsi ekologis jika dikaitkan dengan komponen plankton di dalamnya. Ketiadaan data mengenai karakteristik plankton di polder ini menjadi alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik plankton yang terdapat di Polder Air Hitam Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan purposive sampling untuk menentukan lokasi penelitian. Karakteristik plankton dianalisis dengan menghitung kelimpahan, indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, indeks dominansi, dan uji-T statistik untuk membandingkan apakah terdapat perbedaan kelimpahan dengan dua variasi kedalaman. Hasil penelitian menemukan 21 spesies plankton, yaitu fitoplankton sebanyak 14 spesies yang terdiri dari 5 kelas dan zooplankton sebanyak 7 spesies yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Hasil statistik dengan uji T menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelimpahan plankton pada dua variasi kedalaman.

Abstract

Megagastropoda are well associated with seagrass ecosystems. Megagastropoda play a role in the food chain in seagrass beds as detritus eaters. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between megagastropoda abundance and seagrass density in the seagrass beds of Malahing Village, Bontang City, East Kalimantan. This study was conducted from October 2024 to February 2025. The sampling stations consisted of 4 stations and each station consisted of 3 sub-stations. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. Megagastropoda and seagrass stand sampling used a 50x50 cm square frame. Water parameter measurements were carried out in situ and ex situ and basic substrate sampling used a corer. Megagastropoda data analysis included abundance, relative abundance of species, diversity index, uniformity and dominance. Seagrass data analysis included density and relative density of species. The relationship between megagastropoda abundance and seagrass density used a Pearson's Product Moment correlation test. Megastropoda found as many as 14 species of megagastropoda namely Strombus urceus, Cypraea tigris, Trochus maculatus, Cymbiola innexa, Nassaridus dorsatus, Polinices tumidus, Rhinoclavis vertagus, Natica vitellus, Vasum turbellinus, Scaphander watsoni, Astralium calcar, Conus sp., Cypraea cervinetta, and Strombus gibberulus, and 2 species of seagrass were found namely Enhalus acoroides and Thalassia hemprichii. The relationship between the abundance of megagastropoda and the density of E. acoroides is very strongly positively correlated.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia, namun penyandang tunarungu sering menghadapi kendala karena keterbatasan alat penerjemah bahasa isyarat secara real-time dan rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi web untuk mengenali huruf Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia secara real-time menggunakan arsitektur MobileNetV2 dengan pendekatan transfer learning. Data terdiri dari 2.288 gambar huruf A–Z yang dikumpulkan dari sumber publik dan secara manual. Data telah diproses melalui normalisasi, perubahan ukuran, dan augmentasi untuk meningkatkan generalisasi model. Model dilatih dengan membekukan 100 lapisan awal dari bobot ImageNet dan menyesuaikan lapisan akhir untuk klasifikasi 26 huruf. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan akurasi pengujian sebesar 99% dengan nilai loss 0,03. Model ini diimplementasikan dalam aplikasi berbasis web dengan arsitektur client-server menggunakan Flask dan Laravel, yang memungkinkan pengenalan bahasa isyarat secara langsung melalui kamera pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan solusi potensial untuk mendukung komunikasi penyandang tunarungu.

Abstract

The association of seagrass beds with river estuaries and other coastal ecosystems provides unique characteristics for the formation of seagrass habitats and the interaction of fish species with seagrass beds. The purpose of the study was to determine the habitat characteristics of the Carangidae family in the coastal seagrass beds of Bontang City. The study was carried out from March to December 2020. Sampling of fish from the Carangidae family was carried out based on the catch of the trap net fishing gear (belat: local name). Seagrass sampling was carried out using the transect method and water quality sampling was carried out in situ. Analysis of habitat characteristics, species of Carangidae used Correspondence Analysis and Pearson Moment Product correlation, spatial distribution characteristics of water quality variables used Principal Component Analysis. Characteristics of seagrass species that make up seagrass beds provide an niche for species of Carangidae in their biological phase.

Abstract

The fishing industry is more popular among the community, and one of the reasons for this is the high demand for fishery products, especially shrimp. The Tanjung Harapan sub-district in Paser Regency has considerable potential for pond-based aquaculture, particularly for tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon). The favorable geographical conditions and promising business opportunities have made this business a source of livelihood for the surrounding community. However, shrimp pond farming is vulnerable to production fluctuations due to climatic factors, pest and disease attacks, and suboptimal management. The purpose of this study is to assess the financial feasibility of pond farming in Tanjung Harapan Subdistrict, Paser Regency. This study uses analysis methods such as Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). The results of the study show that the Net Present Value (NPV) for the next five years for the shrimp farming business is IDR 546,335,336, the Net BCR is 8.35 with an IRR of 166%, and the payback period is 7.18 months.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November sampai Januari 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan kerapatan lamun, kelimpahan megagastropoda dan hubungan antara tingkat kepadatan lamun dengan kelimpahan megagastropoda di Perairan Pulau Miang Besar Kecamatan Sangkulirang Timur Kabupaten Kutai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan menggunakan analisis regresi linier untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kerapatan lamun dengan kelimpahan gastropoda yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian. Kuadran Transek dibentangkan lurus ke arah laut dengan 3 kali pengulangan di setiap stasiun. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 4 jenis lamun yaitu, Cymodocea serrulata, Enhalus acoroides, Halodule Ponifilia dan Thalassia hemprichii dengan kategori kerapatan sangat padat. Terdapat 9 jenis Megagastropoda yaitu Cyprea Tigris, Cyprea Arabica, Cerithium Aluco, Rhinoclavis Vertagus, Strombus Luhuannus, Strombus Urceus, Strombus Urceus, Lambis-Lambis, dan Cymbiola Innexa. Hubungan kerapatan lamun dengan kelimpahan megagastropoda di perairan Pulau Miang adalah positif dan termasuk dalam kategori sedang.
