Abstract

PT XXX adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam pembuatan pipa PVC. Permasalahan perusahaan yang sering dialami adalah terjadi kerusakan mesin yang tiba-tiba dan tingginya waktu kerusakan mesin (downtime) ketika proses produksi berlangsung. Hal-hal tersebut mengakibatkan kelancaran proses produksi menjadi terganggu. Total downtime mesin extruder mencapai 2.202 jam pada tahun 2011 atau 10,332% yang mengakibatkan profit loss sebesar Rp 950.654.600 bagi perusahaan. Metode perawatan yang selama ini berjalan di PT XXX  kurang memperhatikan faktor keandalan/reliability mesin produksi dan lebih bersifat corrective maintenance. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merencanakan perawatan mesin-mesin produksi menggunakan metode Reliability Engineering dan MVSM (Maintenance Value Stream Mapping). Hasil perhitungan interval penggantian komponen dengan kriteria mean time to failure (MTTF) menunjukkan bahwa interval pergantian komponen dinamo, pulley, v-belt, tali poly, gearbox, screw press, bearing, poros, dan bushing adalah 156 hari, 140 hari, 145 hari, 156 hari, 109 hari, 89 hari, 133 hari, 160 hari, dan 91 hari. Metode perawatan Reliability Engineering dan MVSM yang diusulkan berpotensial memberikan dampak positif yaitu penurunan downtime komponen menjadi sebesar 58,3 jam/tahun, peningkatan rata-rata availability sebesar 5,3142% untuk masing-masing komponen, peningkatan maintenance efficiency sebesar 14,92%, dan peningkatan profit sebesar 856.698.320 /tahun atau sebesar 90,117%

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pendistribusian produk minuman. PT. XYZ merupakan  distributor tunggal untuk produk minuman didaerah Medan dan sekitarnya. PT. XYZ mendistribusikan produk kepada konsumen-konsumennya yang merupakan grosir-grosir dan supermarket-supermarket di kota Medan. Kemudian grosir dan supermarket tersebut memasarkan produk kepada konsumen akhir. Selama ini, PT. XYZ melakukan distribusi ke distributor tanpa memperhitungkan jarak tempuh dan utilitas kendaraan angkut. Proses distribusi dalam satu kali pengiriman produk hanya dilakukan kepada satu distributor. Untuk melakukan distribusi ke 24 distributor, perusahaan memiliki 24 sub rute perjalanan. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan penentuan rute distribusi. Metode penentuan rute distribusi adalah dengan menggunakan algoritma Heuristik. Melalui metode ini perusahaan dapat menentukan rute yang optimal dengan mempertimbangkan jarak tempuh, waktu transportasi dan kapasitas kendaraan angkut yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada proses pengiriman barang, terbentuk 5 sub rute yang baru. Perbaikan yang dilakukan berdampak pada pengurangan biaya distribusi sebesar 70,87%.

Abstract

Competition in the retail companies compete for customers in a very high market where consumers will choose to shop at a retail company that has a good quality of service thus each company will compete to provide the best service to customers. Hypermarket XYZ is one that constantly seeks to improve the quality of service, however, there is less of the services provided by XYZ hypermarket which resulted in a decrease in the number of customers ranges from 2012 to 2013. Thus, hypermarket XYZ will improve service quality by understanding the needs and desires of customers and make a strategy to translate into improved technical characteristics. Appropriate method to satisfy it is the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Initial stages is to see the gap between the performance of the service provided to the consumer desires. Questionnaires were distributed to 97 respondents, obtained 15 attributes into consumer desires and GAP obtained from the calculation of the greatest value -1.444. From the data processing obtained 10 technical characteristics that interior building, training (training), understanding the customer, routine monitoring, warranty administration, clarity of information, ease of access, ATM corner, employee capabilities, and inventory control with the level of interest of the greatest business value contained in training with a value of 211 and a relative cost of 8.55.

Abstract

The accuracy in fulfilling orders which has been promised by the company and the quality of the product which conformed with expectation, as well as a fee charged was elements of satisfaction that must be fulfilled by the company. PT. XXX  is a manufacturing company  which active in the fields of making concrete products, namely PC Piles and PC Pole. Based on data from the company, the company is only able to meet the SPK (work orders) as much as 15 projects (71,43%) and within schedule was 21 projects, the rest as much as 6 projects (28,57%) was late in completion. This research aimed is to determine the received date by using Load Oriented Manufacturing Control methods which are calculations of manufacturing lead time, considered time of delivery  an order to the consumer, the capacity available at every station work, time process on work stations and the flow of production. By using the Load Oriented Manufacturing Control method and considering an available capacity, delivery time and order priority, then received date of order type of PC A 400(1) is 3 days, a type of PC A 400(2) is 5 days a type of PC A 400(3) is 9 days, a type of PC A 350(1) is 6 days, a type of PC A 350(2) is 8 days, and type of pc a 300  is 7 days are obtained. It showed that the calculation of order received determination by using the Load Oriented Manufacturing Control (LOMC) methods compare to actual method is more accurate.

Abstract

Business competition demands a company to apply a strategic plan to meet the needs of consumers in the development of products to improved quality, performance, and a reduction in costs and time of production. PT XYZ is one of the manufacturing company that produce spring bed products, keep trying to meet consumer needs with a high quality product. Problems that occur on company is redesign component product spring bed that cause the longer production time and the higher of the unit cost product. The purpose of this research is to identify the causes of the occurance of a waste of time and cost in the process of making product with Quality Function Deployment(QFD) method. QFD used to identify consumer needs that connects between technical characteristics of the product. Technical characteristics of products that have the highest value shows that these technical characteristics are the focus of the problem faced by the company, while the attributes of consumer needs that has the highest value are things that should be fixed to address existing problems. The result showed that performance of the technical characteristics with the highest value is part family and similarity in the base of the structure of component with each value degrees interests about 20 %, while the ten attributes of consumers needs that gain the highest relative weight is variable type of mattress foam with the value of relative weight about 16,29.

Abstract

Many methods, rules, and techniques are used by some manufacturing companies to enhance product competitiveness by fulfilling customer needs and satisfaction possible by improving product design quality. Many researchers suggest a variety of design tools that were implemented early in the design process. Quality function deployment and Analytical hierarchy process methods are one of them. Some researchers have studied in-depth incorporating these two design techniques in product design and development by focusing on translating the consumers' desire into product design. This paper presents the review, investigates analysis, and discussion of some literature on the QFD combined AHP, which is used for product design, either re-designing existing products or designing new products. Several international journal articles have been selected, collected, and analyzed through several relevant scientific publications published in 2010-2016. An in-depth analysis has been carried out on this paper on the benefit, and drawbacks of the integration method on previous research. This paper provides suggestions based on the analysis of the development of the integration method. Hope this paper could be a reference for researchers and other manufacturing companies to implement QFD-AHP integration method in designing product

Abstract

PT. Energi Sejahtera Mas (ESM), merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam hal produsen oleochemical yang berlokasi di Dumai, Riau, Indonesia. Pada PT. Energi Sejahtera Mas terutama pada area Water Treatment Plant (WTP) tingkat kebisingan yang diakibatkan oleh mesin adalah berkisar 80 dB - 100 dB. Kebisingan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya hearing loss (gangguan pendengaran) bagi karyawan. Dari total 9 orang pekerja didapatkan keluhan sebanyak 7 orang pekerja mengenai tingkat kebisingan pada area WTP. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perhitungan tingkat kebisingan pada aera WTP menggunakan software Surfer. Sedangkan untuk melakukan analisa terhadap faktor penyebab masalah hearing loss karyawan diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan Fishbone Diagram. Dan rincian solusi pemecahan masalah hearing loss karyawan dibuat menggunakan Tabel Faktor Penyebab. Dimana solusi yang ditawarkan antara lain pengukuran kebisingan pada area proses secara kontinu; peringatan visual besar nilai kebisingan; penerapan safety talk; dll.

Abstract

Hirarki AHP adalah sarana terstruktur untuk memodelkan keputusan yang ada. Ini terdiri dari tujuan keseluruhan, sekelompok opsi atau alternatif untuk mencapai tujuan, dan sekelompok faktor atau kriteria yang menghubungkan alternatif dengan tujuan. Kriteria selanjutnya dapat dipecah menjadi subkriteria dan sebagainya, dalam level sebanyak yang diperlukan masalah. Kriteria untuk penilaian teknologi pengolahan air limbah ditentukan melalui review literatur yang luas. Literatur adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan tentang suatu topik. Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk mengetahui kriteria yang dapat digunakan untuk penilaian teknologi pengolahan air limbah.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, information technology, especially through the use of computer technology (program and software) is developing rapidly and has aN enormous impact on the manufacturing industry to support companies as a solving problems tool related to manufactured products that rely on input, process, and output, as well as Increasing effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. The purpose of this study is to review various literature regarding the application of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) in the manufacturing company. Abstract

Supply Chain method approach has become a resource for companies to build a sustainable competitive advantage in this complex and volatile competitive environment. Numerous recent literature studies on supply. However, comprehensive analysis, clearly identifying the supply chain relationships used and finding the impact of this relationship on supply chain performance are still lacking. Therefore, this research has the main objective to review past studies on the implementation of supply chain in SMEs, as well as to research the literature to analyze how SMEs have implemented supply chain management approaches. To understand the role of supply chains in SMEs conducted a comprehensive literature review, which resulted in the identification and analysis of 20 high quality international journal articles, published between 2017 and 2021 in English. Based on the findings from this literature review, there are methods or frameworks that can be used by researchers to understand the implementation of Supply Chain Integration in business that can improve performance, efficiency, added customer value, or even competitive advantage. Then, the researcher realizes the need to conduct a literature review to see new developments and findings that have appeared in previous studies. The result is a detailed analysis of the main findings and insights obtained.
