Abstract

Abstract This study aim to determine the performance of employees, the obstacles faced by employees and efforts to improve the performance of employees at the Regional Personnel, Education, and Training Agency of Surakarta City. The research is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The data used are primary and secondary data. Sources of data come from informants, places/events, and documents. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling  techniques and snowball sampling. Data validation was carried out by: (1)Credibility, (2)Transferability, (3)Dependability, and (4)Confirmability. The data analysis technique was carried out by: (1)Data collection; (2)Data Reduction; (3)Presentation of Data; (4)Drawing conclusions. The research procedures adopted by researchers included: (1)Proposal and Licensing Preparation Stage; (2)Data Collection Stage; (3)Initial Data Analysis Phase; (4)Final Data Analysis Phase; (5)Report Writing Stage and Report Reproduction. The results shows (1)Service orientation; (2)Commitment; (3)Work Initiatives; (4)Cooperation; (5)Leadership. Barriers to employee performance include: (a) Time Management; (b) Limited Human Resources; (c) Infrastructure; (d) Educational Background. Efforts have made to improve employee performance, among others, prioritizing more important work, to support and assistance between employees, providing training to improve employee competencies, and maintaining and improving available infrastructure. Keywords        : performance, employees, performance assessment, work behavior

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether: : (1) there is a positive and significant influence between students ability to complete HOTS on student’s creativity (t_hitung > t_tabel atau 3,754 > 1,995; (2) there is a positive and significant influence between social environment on student’s creativity (t_hitung> t_tabel atau 9,748 > 1,995); (3) there is a positive and significant influence between students ability to complete HOTS and social environment on student’s creativity (F_hitung> F_tabel atau 116.634 > 3,128). This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Population 72 people. The sampling technique uses purposive saturated sample. The data is then processed using IBM SPSS 25. This analysis includes the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing.The results of this study are, students ability to complete HOTS has a positive and significant effect on student’s creativity. Social environment has a positive and significant effect on student’s creativity. Students ability to complete HOTS and Social environment have a simultaneous influence on student’s creativity. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Dampak positif dan negatif pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa baru Prodi PAP UNS, 2) Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi dampak negatif pembelajaran daring Prodi PAP UNS.Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, analisis dokumen, arsip. Validitas data diperoleh melalui pengujian transferability, dependability, confirmability. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Tahap penelitian melalui: 1) Pra lapangan, 2) Pekerjaan lapangan, 3) Analisis data, 4) Penarikan kesimpulan dan 5) Laporan penelitian.Hasil penelitian ditemukan: 1) Dampak positif pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa baru Prodi PAP UNS yaitu: a) meningkatkan kemampuan menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran, b) beragamnya penggunaan media aplikasi pembelajaran, c) waktu pembelajaran fleksibel dan d) menghemat biaya akomodasi. Adapun dampak negatif yaitu: a) terganggunya penyesuaian diri terhadap pembelajaran, b) beberapa mahasiswa sulit memahami materi, c) motivasi belajar mahasiswa menurun dan d) dosen tidak dapat mengawasi mahasiswa secara langsung. 2) Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi dampak negatif pembelajaran daring Prodi PAP UNS yaitu: a) memperbanyak informasi seputar Prodi PAP UNS, b) menggunakan metode pembelajaran interaktif, c) meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa baru dan d) meningkatkan pengawasan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to figure out: (1) the implementation of business and industrial internship program by the students of Office Administration Education of the year 2019, (2) the strategy implemented by the students of Office Administration Education in convincing partner institutions in the program implementation, and (3) the method used by the students of Office Administration Education to solve the inappropriate competencies on the task given in the implementation of the internship program. This research using qualitative method with narrative approach is applied in this research. Purposive sampling and snowball sampling method are used to select the research subjects and head of office administration education as a key informan The data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and document analysis. The result of the research shows that: 1) the implementation of the internship was in line with the guideline of Office Administration Internship 2017 so that it went smoothly; 2) The strategy implemented by the students in convincing the partner institutions was proposal. The proposals were created as attractive as possible and filled with elaborations of the skills offered by the students; and 3) The students solved the inappropriate competence during the internship period by (1) conducting consultation with the study program, (2) frequently asking questions, (3) asking help from other employees, and (4) studying independently.

Abstract

Analysis of Spatial Efficiency of the Sales Office of PT Batik Keris. This study aims to determine the efficiency of office layout in the sales department of PT Batik Keris Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of this study are: (1) The arrangement of office space in the Sales Section of PT Batik Keris which has not fulfilled the principles of office layout such as still not utilizing all the available space in the Sales Section, has not fulfilled the shortest distance principle, and has not made good use of office equipment with good. (2) The obstacles faced are: (a) Employees' tables and chairs do not have partitions so that they seem cramped. (b) Awareness of employees in using filing cabinets. (c) There are lots of cash boxes around the employee's desk. (3) Efforts were made to overcome obstacles, namely by rearranging employee tables and chairs, providing socialization regarding the use of filing cabinets, and getting rid of boxes around employee desks so as not to interfere with employee mobility.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the findings that emerged, namely the decline in the performance of PT Yale employees as indicated by the furniture production carried out; the majority of employees do not understand organizational culture; employees are less innovative; employee motivation drops. This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of organizational culture on employee performance at PT. Yale Setya Sentosa. (2) the influence of work motivation on employee performance at PT. Yale Setya Sentosa. (3) the influence of organizational culture and motivation jointly influence the performance of employees of PT Yale Setya Sentosa.             This research is a quantitative correlational study with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires, namely by providing structured statements to respondents designed to obtain precise and accurate information. Prior to the hypothesis testing, assumptions were tested, namely normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and R quadrad test. The results showed that: 1) Organizational culture affects the performance of employees of PT Yale Setya Sentosa. 2) Employee work motivation affects the employee performance of PT Yale Setya Sentosa. 3) Organizational culture and motivation jointly influence the performance of employees of PT Yale Setya Sentosa

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine:  (1) the influence of student’s activeness; (2) the influence of learning facilities on the learning outcomes; and (3) the influence of student activeness and learning facilities together toward the learning outcomes at twelveth grade of Personnel Administration subject at SMK N 1 Banyudono Academic Year 2019/2020. This research is a quantitative research with correlational method. The sample taken were 60 students, using Slovin formula, and random sampling technique. The results of the research indicate: 1) significant positive effect of student activity on student’s learning outcomes, t_count> t_table (5.303> 2,00030) significance (0,000 <0.05); 2) significant positive influence of learning facilities on student’s learning outcomes, tcount> ttable (5,071> 2,00030) significance (0,000 <0,05); 3) significant positive effect of student activeness and learning facilities together on student’s learning outcomes, evidenced by the value of Fcount> Ftable (59,209> 3.15) significance (0,000 <0.05), so Ho is rejected and Ha received; and 4) multiple linear regression equations obtained Ŷ = 30.955 + 0.199 X1 + 0.387 X2. These results indicate that the higher activeness and complete learning facilities together, the better student’s learning outcomes achieved by students at twelveth grade at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono Academic Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di Dinas Perdagangan kota Surakarta. Data penelitian diperoleh dari informan, peristiwa, dokumen dengan purposive snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Validitas data diperoleh dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Penerapan e-retribusi di pasar Kota Surakarta meliputi: a) perencanaan dan persiapan kelengkapan administrasi, b) sosialisasi e-retribusi pada pedagang, c) pembuatan rekening dan pengisian saldo e-retribusi, d) pedagang melakukan pembayaran di mesin tapping, dan e) monitoring dan evaluasi pelaksanaan e-retribusi. 2) Penerapan e-retribusi pasar di Kota Surakarta memiliki kendala diantaranya: a) mesin tapping e-retribusi sering mengalami gangguan, b) kartu e-retribusi pedagang hilang dan rusak, c) jaringan internet yang kurang memadai, dan d) Kios yang ditinggalkan dan proses balik nama yang memakan waktu sehingga terjadi banyak tunggakan, dan 3) Upaya yang dilakukan Dinas Perdagangan antara lain: a) koordinasi dengan pihak perbankan untuk perbaikan mesin yang rusak, b) mengajukan kartu e-retribusi baru ke bank c) koordinasi dengan pihak ketiga untuk penguatan jaringan internet yang ada di pasar d) pengelola pasar melakukan penagihan secara manual kemudian di setorkan ke dinas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: 1) The effect of office layout on employee performance; 2) The effect of non-physical work environments on employee performance; and 3) The effect of office layout and non-physical work environments simultaniously on employee performance. This research is a correlational research method using accidental technique obtained a total sample size of 60 respondents from 153 total population. Data collection was taken by distributing questionnaires, doing observation, and taking documentation. The data analysis used in this study were validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis test, F test, and t test. From the results of research on the effect of office layout and non-physical work environments on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia, it can be concluded that: 1) There is an effect of office layout on employee performance with t test results of 4.528> 2, 00247 or H0 is rejected H1 is accepted ; 2) There is an effect of non-physical work environment on employee performance with the results of the t test 4.075> 2.00247 H0 is rejected H2 is accepted; and 3) There is an effect of office layout and non-physical work environment simultaniously on employee performance with F test results of 30.092> 3.16 or H0 is rejected H1 is accepted.

Abstract

The research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The respondents of this study were students of 2015-2017 PAP FKIP UNS Surakarta who received organizational science courses of 203 students. The sampling technique used was Proportional random sampling with a sample of 135 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Questionnaires are used to collect data on activeness in organizing and interpersonal communication, while documentation is used to collect data on learning achievement in organizational science courses. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis.The results of this study are: (1) There is a significant effect of organizational activeness on the academic achievement of the 2015-2017 PAP FKIP UNS Surakarta as indicated by the t count value of the organizational activeness variable is 3,819 > t table is 1,978 and sig. 0,000 < 0,05. (2) There is a significant influence on the activeness of organizing on the learning achievement of the 2015-2017 PAP FKIP UNS Surakarta as indicated by the count value of interpersonal communication is 8,121 > t table is 1,978 and the value of sig. 0,000 < 0,05. (3) There is a significant influence on the activeness of organizing and interpersonal communication together on the learning achievement of the 2015-2017 PAP FKIP UNS Surakarta as indicated by F count value greater than F table, which is 129,660 > 3,06
