Abstract

Agricultural land in Juwiring Village in the Cepiring sub-district, Kendal Regency, depends on rainwater for irrigating its rice fields. Rice fields in Juwiring village are planted with corn. In one year, farmers in Juwiring village can harvest corn 3 times. By using a solar powered corn sheller machine, farmers can save Rp. 20,000 per sack because there is no need to pay any more for the corn sheller, besides that with this machine you can save fuel because the fuel uses abundant solar power and the solar corn sheller machine is an environmentally friendly machine because it doesn't emit air pollution. In the previous study (Ekoanindiyo, 2020), from the results of the previous design there were several inputs from users, namely the hole for inserting corn was not too high so that farmers had to squat to put corn in. The diameter of the hole is not big enough so if there is corn with a large diameter then the corn cannot enter the hole. For the corn shelling process, it is inserted one by one into the hole so that the shelling process will take a long time. For the disposal site on the previous sheller machine there were two drain holes, namely the disposal of corncobs and the disposal of corn. When the machine is running, the corn cob does not come out of the cob drain hole but comes out together with the corn. The cobs and corn should come out separately, the corncob coming out of the corncob hole while the corn will come out of the corn dispensing hole. In the hole in the sheller machine place the sack so that the corn and corncobs can enter the sack. Development of a corn sheller machine design to improve the previous machine design including farmers in shelling corn do not need to squat so as to reduce fatigue when shelling. The holes for the cobs and corns to come out can be separated. The diameter hole for inserting corn is rather wide so that all sizes of corn can enter and when inserting corn into the machine you don't need one but you can do it directly in large quantities so that the shelling process can be completed more quickly. The research approach is with interviews and observations using anthropometric data of users. Using measurements of the body dimensions of farmers in the Village Farmer Group in Cepiring District as many as 5 people with elbow height body dimensions. The conclusion related to the development of the corn sheller machine design is the development of the corn sheller machine design using anthropometric data on the body dimensions of farmers in the Village Farmer Group in Cepiring District as many as 5 people. The body dimensions used are elbow height body dimensions. In this measurement the data used is the average or 50th percentile data or the average population so that users of moderate to tall stature can reach or use the machine

Abstract

CV. LK adalah sebuah Perusahaan Karoseri Bus asal Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Perusahaan ini sedang melakukan tindakan perbaikan tata letak fasilitas gudang, yaitu perbaikan tata letak gudang bahan baku yang kurang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi perbaikan tata letak gudang menggunakan Metode Class Based Storage (CBS), material yang bersifat fast moving disimpan didekat pintu masuk dan keluar barang agar meminimalisir jarak material handling. Hasil penelitian jarak perpindahan momen material handling dari tempat bongkar muat menuju blok penyimpanan pada layout usulan, setelah di minimalisir jaraknya didapatkan Kelas A 1 meter, Kelas B 2 meter dan Kelas C 3 meter dengan hasil perhitungan yaitu 450 per bulan, lebih sedikit daripada layout awal yaitu 984 per bulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode CBS dapat meminimalisasi permasalahan di perusahaan agar efisien.Kata Kunci:  Tata Letak Gudang, Momen Material Handling, Class Based Storage

Abstract

Bottle capping or installing milk bottle caps on CV. Memory Susu Nusantara in Semarang city is still done manually by turning the bottle cap by hand. There are many weaknesses in working manually that cause workers to get tired quickly and even blisters, especially on the fingers and wrists. This design or design is planned to use anthropometric data with a sample of 30 employees and the surrounding community as a measure. The measurements used are forward hand reach (JTD) and hand grip (GT). The optimal percentile that will be used is 50. The reach of the hand will be tested for the adequacy and uniformity of the data. Research in the form of this design will later be developed in the form of implementing tools from the designs that have been researched. It can be concluded that later with the Bottle capping tool, workers will be more comfortable at work, besides that it is more effective than the previous manual method. Product design in addition to paying attention to ergonomic size must also pay attention in terms of strength and safety when used.

Abstract

PT X merupakan salah satu perusahaan karpet yang ada di Semarang. Sebagai salah satu perusahaan kapet di Indonesia, persaingan pasar dalam dan luar negeri adalah salah satu tantangan yang tidak dapat dihindari. Persaingan ketat antar perusahaan penghasil karpet ini menuntut perusahaan untuk memiliki kelebihan yang dapat mendatangkan keuntungan terhadap perusahaan itu sendiri. Salah satu cara untuk memenangkan persaingan ini adalah menarik konsumen dengan menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi waktu pengerjaan produk yaitu untuk memperbaiki produk yang cacat, yang juga akan berdampak pada jumlah produksi. Sehingga permasalahan kualitas ini juga menjadi salah satu penyebab tidak tercapainya target produksi yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan metode Six Sigma. Six Sigma dapat digunakan dalam bentuk jenis usaha apa saja dari produk jasa sampai dengan usaha non manufaktur mampu mengatasi masalah dari hulu sampai hilir, mulai dari rencana strategi sampai operasional hingga pelayanan pelanggan dilakukan secara maksimal. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi waktu pengerjaan produk yaitu untuk memperbaiki produk yang cacat, yang juga akan berdampak pada jumlah produksi. Sehingga permasalahan kualitas ini juga menjadi salah satu penyebab tidak tercapainya target produksi yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan metode Six Sigma. Six Sigma dapat digunakan dalam bentuk jenis usaha apa saja dari produk jasa sampai dengan usaha non manufaktur mampu mengatasi masalah dari hulu sampai hilir, mulai dari rencana strategi sampai operasional hingga pelayanan pelanggan dilakukan secara maksimal.

Abstract

The existing sheller machine on the market still uses diesel fuel and electricity, even though diesel fuel has increased. Solar is a non-renewable energy. In addition, there is a new modification of the corn sheller machine with solar power to replace diesel fuel. The fuel replacement is focused on the utilization of sunlight. This corn sheller machine can replace the use of fossil raw materials and electricity with solar power and obtain faster, more ergonomic product results. The data required in this study are body dimension data or shoulder height anthropometry in an upright standing position to determine the height of the corn sheller that will be done standing when the farmer does the corn shelling process. With the existence of a solar-powered corn sheller machine, it is expected to be more productive than before. The transition to the use of environmentally friendly (pollution-free) corn sheller machines so as to reduce air pollution that previously used motor engines with fossil fuels, namely diesel, corn farmers can understand about work comfort, are able to operate environmentally friendly corn sheller machines and can carry out maintenance procedures for solar corn sheller machines.

Abstract

The SN Multipurpose Cooperative has a business of collecting pure cow's milk from dairy farmers. Milk is processed by cooling it to a certain temperature. Pure milk from cooperatives sent to milk factories can be rejected by milk factories for various reasons so that dairy farmers experience losses. The SN Multi-Business Cooperative carries out business development, namely pure milk is further processed by the cooperative into ready-to-drink processed milk products. Business development in the field of processing pure milk products will provide a greater selling value compared to pure milk sold directly to milk factories. Distribution and delivery of processed milk to consumers is carried out using motorbikes. To carry processed milk, every motorbike rider uses a basket bag made of thick cloth which is placed on the back and contains around 30 liters of milk. Inside this bag, ice cubes are placed to maintain the temperature of the processed milk. Over a long period of time the ice cubes will melt into water and seep into the basket bag and damage the basket bag. With the development of a portable toll box, it is possible to maintain milk temperature for longer as well as anthropometric arm length and upwards. The cool box installed on the motorbike is equipped with foam in the cooling box. The distributed capacity is greater to 64 liters.

Abstract

This cooperative collect cow's milk which is cooled to a certain temperature and sent to milk factories and restaurants and cafes. The problem that often arises is that milk that has been sent to the milk factory can be rejected for various reasons. To carry processed milk, every motorbike rider uses a basket bag made of thick cloth which is mounted on the back of the motorbike. Using this basket bag is less practical because if the driver wants to refuel, the basket bag must be removed first. The design of the portable cool box mounting frame makes it easier for drivers to refuel. The portable cool box's mounting frame is designed to transport milk more effectively, using a cooling stand that can be removed, which is more ergonomic, making it easier to refuel.

Abstract

Integrasi sistem kendali jarak jauh telah menjadi aspek krusial dalam evolusi teknologi digital. Sistem tersebut memegang peran dan fungsi yang bervariasi, untuk memenuhi banyak ragam kebutuhan. Pada masa periode Revolusi Industri 4.0 seiring dengan lajunya Pertanian 4.0, penerapan teknologi ini semakin meluas, salah satu riset yang telah dilakukan pada artikel ini adalah proses penyiraman atau pengabutan pada ruang budidaya secara otomatis bergerak. Fokus masalah penyiraman didasarkan pada permasalahan terhadap kurangnya pemerataan hasil penyiraman, sehingga memunculkan inovasi ide fitur adaptif penyiraman otomatis bergerak. Pengembangan riset diawali dengan melakukan integrasi teknologi sensor suhu, kelembapan dan intensitas cahaya, dilengkapi dengan perangkat kendali utama (mikrokendali), dan perangkat aktuator berdaya DC. Selain itu sistem yang diusulkan ini, menerapkan algoritma fuzzy yang lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan fenomena alamiah dan iklim, sesuai kebutuhannya, dimana suhu antara 15-33o Celcius, kelembapan antara 47-99% serta intensitas cahaya pada nilai rentang 80-800 lumens. Proses pengamatan, pemodelan dan pengujian sistem berjalan dalam 1 periode tanam Jamur Tiram, dan telah diterapujikan di lingkungan sebenarnya di wilayah Kota Semarang. Sinergi berbagai teknologi, didampingi oleh algoritma terapan berbasis pembelajaran mesin fuzzy pada sistem ini telah mampu menghasilkan sebuah perangkat yang inovatif cerdas kekinian, sesuai kebutuhan penggunaannya, dan berpotensi luas untuk dapat diterapkan pada beragam lingkup budidaya tanaman hortikultura maupun fortikultura lainnya.

Abstract

Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Susu Nusantara terletak di Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang. Susu sapi yang ditampung dikoperasi ini diolah dengan cara didinginkan hingga mencapai suhu tertentu dan dikirim ke pabrik-pabrik susu dan restauran serta kafe. Permasalahan yang sering muncul adalah adanya ketergantungan penerimaan susu oleh pabrik susu. Susu yang sudah dikirim ke pabrik susu dapat ditolak oleh pabrik susu dengan berbagai alasan. Untuk membawa susu, olahan setiap pengendara motor menggunakan tas keranjang yang terbuat dari kain tebal yang di letakan di belakang. Dengan menggunakan tas keranjang ini kurang praktis karena apabila pengendara akan mengisi bahan bakar maka tas keranjang harus diambil terlebih dahulu. Dengan perancangan rangka dudukan cool box portable ini perancangan rangka dudukan cool box portable agar memudahkan dalam menambah atau mengisi bahan bakar. pengembangan rangka dudukan tolbox portable dapat mengangkut susu lebih efektif, perancangan rangka dudukan pendingan yang dapat di copot atau cool box portable yang secara ergonomis serta agar memudahkan dalam menambah atau mengisi bahan bakar. Rangka dudukan cool box dapat di copot sehingga tidak mengganggu pengendara terutama saat harus menambah atau mengisi bahan bakar.
