Abstract

The existence of the "Galombang Duo Baleh" Dance among the young generation of cultural heirs in Nagari Pitalah is in an alarming condition. It is clear that the lack of interest of the younger generation in learning and preserving the "Galombang Duo Baleh" Dance is because many other interesting things can be played from home without having to gather at the Sasaran. It is evident that Sasaran has begun to be abandoned as a forum for learning various things including silat and the "Galombang Duo Baleh" Dance as games and entertainment for village children in the past. The reasons mentioned above are inseparable from developments in science, technology and art. It is evident that the younger generation prefers online games which are accessed from their respective devices, watching entertainment from YouTube, to being busy in establishing social relations through social media such as TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other social media because they are more interesting. To overcome this, it is necessary to have a new innovation that can attract the interest of the younger generation in learning traditional dance so that it continues to live and develop in the life of the people who inherit it. The dance creation method uses the theory of the stages of creating dance works referring to Alma M Hawkins' theory of motion exploration, motion improvisation, motion composition and motion evaluation. The result of the creation of the development of the "Galombang Duo Baleh" Dance is the "Tatagok" Dance. "Tatagok" dance is a newly created dance that develops the basic movements of the "Galombang Duo Baleh" dance. Learning the "Tatagok" Dance means participating in learning the basics of the "Galombang Duo Baleh" Dance, because the movements of the "Tatagok" Dance come from the basic movements of the "Galombang Duo Baleh" Dance which are packaged in a new form by considering the knowledge of dance composition to make it look more attractive.Kata Kunci: preservation, traditional dance, creation dance. AbstrakEksistensi Tari Galombang Duo Baleh diantara generasi muda pewaris budaya di Nagari Pitalah berada dalam kondisi mengkhawatirkan. Terlihat jelas bahwa kurangnya minat generasi muda untuk mempelajari dan melestarikan Tari Galombang Duo Baleh karena banyak hal menarik lainnya bisa dimainkan dari rumah tanpa harus berkumpul di Sasaran. Terbukti bahwa Sasaran sudah mulai ditinggalkan sebagai wadah mempelajari berbagai hal termasuk silat dan  gerak Tari Galombang Duo Baleh sebagai permainan dan hiburan anak nagari dahulunya. Penyebab hal yang disebutkan di atas tidak terlepas dari perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni, terbukti bahwa generasi muda lebih menyukai permainan online yang diakses dari gawai masing-masing, menonton hiburan dari Youtube, hingga sibuk dalam menjalin hubungan sosial melalui media sosial seperti TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook dan media sosial lainnya karena lebih menarik. Untuk mengatasi hal demikian, maka perlu adanya sebuah inovasi baru yang bisa menarik minat generasi muda dalam mempelajari tari tradisional agar tetap hidup dan berkembang dalam kehidupan masyarakat pewarisnya. Metode penciptaan tari menggunakan teori Tahapan penciptaan karya tari merujuk teori Alma M Hawkins adalah eksplorasi gerak, improvisasi gerak, komposisi gerak dan evaluasi gerak, Hasil penciptaan pengembangan Tari Galombang Duo Baleh adalah Tari Tatagok. Tari Tatagok adalah tari kreasi baru pengembangan gerak dasar Tari Galombang Duo Baleh. Abstract

This research aims to compare the factors that influence students' academic achievement in learning assistance services (TUWEB, TUTON, TMK) at UPBJJ-UT Bengkulu. This research used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The total population in this study was 11,854 people, with a sample of 1185 respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with the data analysis technique for this research using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research showed that the overall cumulative achievement index of respondents had the highest average GPA obtained by TUWEB service users, namely 3.56, and the lowest was the average GPA of TMK service users was 3.21, while the average GPA of TUTON learning assistance service users was 3.40. The variables of learning motivation, learning assistance, and learning media influence the Grade Point Average (GPA). Meanwhile, the independent variables that do not partially affect the Grade Point Average (GPA) were age, marital status, employment status, participation in academic service assistance, level of perception towards UT, and the independent learning system and network quality.

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan sampah sering menjadi konflik di berbagai daerah di Indonesia salah satunya di Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Untuk itu, diperlukan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut salah satunya melakukan pembinaan terhadap UMKM Seni Kreatif dalam mengolah sampah melalui kegiatan 3R yaitu reduce, reuse dan recycle. Kegiatan ini melibatkan kelompok mitra Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) yang ada di Desa Rama Agung Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara yaitu UMKM DIRGA YUSAdan UMKM BUOCA yang bertujuan menangani sampah rumah tangga. UMKM DIRGA YUSAmerupakan kelompok UMKM seni kreatif yang terdiri dari 11 anggota yang mengatasi sampah plastik untuk dijadikan sebuah karya seni bernilai jual. Sedangkan UMKM BUOCA merupakan kelompok Usaha Mikro yang terdiri dari 17 anggota yang menangani sampah tumbuh-tumbuhan seperti sampah buah dan sayuran yang dimanfaatkan kembali menjadi produk yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu pengenalan konsep seni kreatif, peningkatan kualitas dan jumlah produksi, serta pemasaran produk. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket pretest dan postest untuk melihat kebermanfaatan kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan kerja sama tim Universitas Terbuka Bengkulu dan Bapelitbang Bengkulu Utara setelah melakukan pembinaan dan pendampingan terhadap UMKM seni kreatif berbasis sampah ini telah meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi UMKM DIRGA YUSAsebesar 58% dan UMKM BUOCA sebesar 72%.Abstract: Abstract: The issue of waste management frequently escalates into conflicts in various regions of Indonesia, including North Bengkulu Regency. Therefore, a solution is imperative to address this problem, and one such approach involves nurturing Creative SMEs in waste management through the implementation of the 3R principles: reduce, reuse, and recycle. This initiative engages collaborative efforts with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the village of Rama Agung in North Bengkulu Regency, specifically, DIRGA YUSA Creative SME and BUOCA SME, both aimed at managing household waste. DIRGA YUSA is a group of 11 members focusing on transforming plastic waste into artistic creations with market value, while BUOCA, consisting of 17 members, addresses organic waste like fruits and vegetables, repurposing them into environmentally friendly products. The project unfolds in three stages: introducing the concept of creative arts, enhancing the quality and quantity of production, and marketing the products. Evaluation involves the distribution of pretest and posttest questionnaires to assess the effectiveness of the initiative. Results indicate a substantial increase in the economic income of DIRGA YUSA by 58% and BUOCA by 72% following the collaboration between the Universitas Terbuka Bengkulu team and the North Bengkulu Regency Research and Development Agency in mentoring and guiding these waste-based creative SMEs.

Abstract

Laporan perkuliahan pada Universitas Terbuka Bengkulu untuk perkuliahan menggunakan tutorial berbasis web, tutor wajib membuat laporan setiap sesi menggunakan dashboard tutorial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan dashboard untuk laporan kegiatan perkuliahan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, fokus mengkaji penggunaan aplikasi dashboard, instrumen dalam penelitian ini dibagikan melalui google form. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini penggunaan Penggunaan Aplikasi Dashboard Tutor-UT Bengkulu untuk pembuatan laporan perkuliahan tutorial webinar sangat efektif. Diharapkan bahwa penelitian lebih lanjut akan meneliti kendala dan efektivitas penggunaan dashboard tutor-UT.

Abstract

Srikuncoro Village is a village located in Pondok Kelapa Sub-district, Central Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province, approximately 16 kilometres from Bengkulu City. Judging from the existing resources, Srikuncoro Village has good potential for the development of small industries, especially household industries in the food sector. One of the small industries in Srikuncoro Village is the Karya Sehat Utama food processing home industry. This industry has strengths in the form of products that have characteristics and potential to be developed. Based on the situation analysis and survey that has been carried out, the proposer and partners agreed on several problems faced, namely limited understanding of legal protection for MSME actors; limited production equipment or technology; limited understanding in managerial aspects (Production, Marketing and Finance); and limited use of information technology in marketing. To overcome these problems, the service team and partners agreed on several solutions to be carried out, namely education on understanding legal protection for MSME actors is expected to improve a healthy and proper business climate among MSME actors to develop rapidly; providing assistance with production equipment or product processing technology to support production capacity according to market needs; education and training in managerial aspects (production management, marketing management and financial management) and training in the use of information technology in online product marketing. In addition, the output of this PkM Lecturer programme will be published in a national journal with ISSN.Abstrak. Desa Srikuncoro merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah, Provinsi Bengkulu, kurang lebih 16 kilometer dari Kota Bengkulu. Dilihat dari sumber daya yang ada, Desa Srikuncoro memiliki potensi yang baik untuk pengembangan industri kecil, khususnya industri rumah tangga di bidang pangan. Salah satu industri kecil yang ada di Desa Srikuncoro adalah industri rumah tangga pengolahan pangan Karya Sehat Utama. Industri ini memiliki kekuatan berupa produk yang memiliki ciri khas dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Berdasarkan analisis situasi dan survei yang telah dilakukan, pengusul dan mitra sepakat mengenai beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi, yaitu keterbatasan pemahaman tentang perlindungan hukum bagi pelaku UMKM; keterbatasan alat atau teknologi produksi; keterbatasan pemahaman dalam aspek manajerial (Produksi, Pemasaran dan Keuangan); dan keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pemasaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdi dan mitra sepakat mengenai beberapa solusi yang akan dilakukan, yaitu edukasi tentang pemahaman perlindungan hukum bagi pelaku UMKM diharapkan dapat meningkatkan iklim usaha yang sehat dan layak di kalangan pelaku UMKM agar berkembang pesat; pemberian bantuan alat produksi atau teknologi pengolahan produk untuk mendukung kapasitas produksi sesuai kebutuhan pasar; pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam aspek manajerial (manajemen produksi, manajemen pemasaran dan manajemen keuangan) serta pelatihan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pemasaran produk secara daring. Selain itu, luaran program Dosen PkM ini akan dipublikasikan dalam jurnal nasional ber-ISSN.

Abstract

The insertion of myth into ritual events and supernatural powers in a dance performance certainly has a greater purpose. Something sacred and considered to have supernatural powers certainly has a value that cannot be grasped by common sense, so the mysteriousness of myths is still difficult to consider as truth. In general, this research aims to comprehensively examine the myths that develop in dance performance rituals, especially in the lives of the people of Aceh, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. This research method is qualitative research carried out by describing facts. The results of this research show that the background to the emergence of myths in ritual dance in Aceh, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua is based on folklore that developed in these areas. Apart from that, it was also found that the main motives for creating myths were monotheism and ecological motifs. The bond and awareness between humans, the universe, and God create a balanced relationship so that a safe, secure, and protected situation is created. In this case, it can be seen that myths are not just reports of events that previously occurred, but myths provide direction to human behavior and are a guide in determining human wisdom.

Abstract

Dance as a form of cultural expression has become the primary medium for communicating human emotions in a unique and comprehensive way. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between emotional expression and creativity in dance, focusing on the methods and techniques used in the literature review. This paper describes how dance artists portray and utilize emotions in their work. Through the literature review method, it explores the various approaches used by artists to express emotion authentically and move the audience. The results of this study highlight the importance of an in-depth understanding of the psychology of emotions and the dance techniques used to achieve specific expressive goals. Further developing an understanding of how the expression of emotion in dance can influence the aesthetic experience of the audience and support the creativity of the artist. Contribution to broadening the horizons of the importance of emotional beats in dance, illustrating how literature review can be an effective tool for exploring the complexities of human expression through movement and rhythm.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan layanan pembelajaran menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan proses kemandirian belajar mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka (UT). Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi mahasiswa UT Bengkulu dalam memanfaatkan layanan bantuan belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi di UT Bengkulu, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan layanan bantuan belajar, yaitu minat pribadi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah; tuntutan akademik, dukungan keluarga, kemandirian belajar mahasiswa, dan lingkungan belajar antara dosen, tutor, dan teman sekelas. Implikasinya adalah diperlukan pemahaman lebih dalam terhadap minat dan kebutuhan individu serta respon mahasiswa terhadap tuntutan akademiknya. Selanjutnya, kemandirian belajar perlu didorong melalui pelatihan dan panduan, serta peran dosen, tutor, dan rekan sekelas perlu diperkuat dalam memberikan dukungan akademik yang efektif. Terakhir, perlu dilakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi rutin untuk memastikan efektivitas bantuan layanan belajar yang diberikan oleh UT Bengkulu.

This study aims to Effectively Utilize Adobe Flash CS6-Based Interactive Learning Media in Improving the Learning Outcomes of State Junior High School Students 03 South Bengkulu. This research method is a descriptive quantitative experiment. The design that will be used is Design One Pretest-Posttest Group. The subjects of this study are 30 students of Grade seven B State Junior High School 03 South Bengkulu. The instrument used was 20 multiple-choice questions. The results of the study with paired sample test showed  that the value  of asym sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05 so that it was rejected and accepted, which means that there is an effectiveness of interactive learning media based on adobe flash CS6 in improving student learning outcomes in the informatics subject of grade VII at SMP Negeri 3 South Bengkulu. It can be concluded that Adobe Flash CS6-based interactive learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the informatics subject of grade VII at State Junior High School 03 South Bengkulu South Bengkulu.Keywords: Effectiveness, Learning Media, Adobe Flash CS6.
