Abstract

Burnout is a condition of prolonged physical, emotional and mental exhaustion. Burnout refers to a condition that the required resources and abilities are no longer sufficient to meet job requirements. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of work stress in mediating the influence of workload on burnout. This research was conducted at one General Hospital in Bali Province-Indonesia. The theory refer to this study is Attribution Theory. The number of samples in this study was 56 nurses which determined by using saturated sampling. Data collection was carried out through interview and distributing questionnaires. Path analysis was implemented to test the hypothesis. The findings show that workload has a positive and significant effect on burnout and job stress, job stress has a positive and significant effect on burnout and mediates the influence of workload on burnout partially. The implication of this study is empirically supports attribution theory, which explains a person's behavior based on three factors: specificity (behavior varying across different situations), consensus (similar responses from people in the same situation), and consistency (behavior remaining stable across actions). The practical implications of this research are expected to serve as considerations and feedback for leaders of public hospitals in addressing burnout by paying attention to the workload and work-related stress experienced by their nurses.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the direct effect of talent management on employee retention and perceived organizational support and indirect effect of talent management on employee retention through perceived organizational support. Theory referred in this study is Social Exchange Theory. The sample in the study was 73 employees determined by purposive sampling (saturated sample). The data collected by interview and questionnaires. Technoque of analysis used in this study was Path Analysis. The findings show that talent management has a positive and significant effect on employee retention and perceived organizational support, perceived organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employee retention and talent management has an indirect effect on employee retention through perceived organizational support. The implication of this study is the leader of Montigo Resort Seminyak-Bali supposed to improve talent management and increase organization support to improve the retention of employees.

Abstract

Sebagian besar studi empiris tentang perilaku kerja-sikap kerja difokuskan pada hubungan antara kinerja dan sikap kerja tanpa mempertimbangkan faktor lain yang mungkin mempengaruhi hubungan tersebut. Kebutuhan atas pencapaian merupakan suatu variabel disposisional yang berpotensi untuk memoderasi asosiasi antara kinerja dan sikap kerja. Studi yang dilakukan oleh Steers (1975) ini sengaja dipilih karena merupakan studi awal yang menguji pengaruh kebutuhan atas pencapaian pada hubungan antara kinerja dengan sikap kerja, dalam hal ini keterlibatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Kelemahan utama studi ini terletak pada metode penelitian terkait dengan operasionalisasi dan pengukuran variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Metode pemilihan sampel, pengajuan masalah, dan ketiadaan simpulan, merupakan kelemahan lain studi ini. Terlepas dari kelemahan-kelemahan tersebut, studi ini memberi kontribusi berharga pada ilmu keperilakuan karena mempertimbangkan peranan valen dan instrumentalitas dalam hubungan perilaku kerja−sikap kerja.

Abstract

Village credit union (Lembaga Perkreditan Desa/LPD) is a kind of financial institutions in Bali Province-Indonesia which is established by the community. In carrying out work, employees will indeed always be in the spirit of work in endeavor to provide maximum results to the company. High morale needs to be maintained by employees working together to achieve company goals. Of course, this is an advantage for the company because it has quality resources to achieve its goals. This study aimed to analyze the effect of compensation on work spirit with work motivation as a mediator for employees at an LPD located in Kesiman Municipality. The sample of this study was 61 employees using saturated sampling. Data was collected by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. Hypothesis was tested by implementing Path Analysis. The findings show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on work spirit, compensation has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on work spirit, and work motivation mediates the effect of compensation on work spirit. Implication of this study is the management of LPD is advised to increase the work spirit of its employees by paying attention to compensation and work motivation of its employee

Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is mapping research trends using metadata processing from Google Scholar. The aim is to find out research trends about learning agility. The research was carried out by searching the Google Scholar database with the keywords learning agility and the maximum number of results was 1000 journals as a sample. Retrieval of metadata using the Publish or Perish application version 8.94. The data from Publish or Perish is then analyzed descriptively based on the year the publication was published, publisher name, researcher productivity, and journal ranking. To obtain an accurate map of research progress, Publish or Perish data is exported to Exel CSV and Result as RIS file formats. CSV data was made into a pivot table and RIS data was analyzed using the VOSviewer application. The research results show that the number of research publications in 2000-2023 has fluctuated and most were published in Emerald. The most productive foreign researcher in publishing research results is Kenneth P. De Meuse with 12 articles. Through VOSviewer visualization, it shows that the learning agility research development map is divided into 5 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of 20 items, cluster 2 consists of 15 items, cluster 3 consists of 14 items, cluster 4 consists of 9 items and cluster 5 consists of 8 items with the most research covering effect, strategic agility, concept, skill and work.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja dalam suatu organisasi mencerminkan sejauh mana karyawan suka atau tidak suka akan pekerjaannya. Karyawan yang sangat puas cenderung menunjukkan sikap positif di tempat kerja. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, dengan stres kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Dinas Perumahan, Kawasan Permukiman, dan Pertanahan Kabupaten Buleleng, dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 96 pegawai dan jumlah sampel 77 orang menggunakan metode sampel jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang diukur menggunakan Skala Likert. Analisis dilakukan dengan Uji Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban  kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, serta berpengaruh positif terhadap stres kerja. Stres kerja juga menunjukkan pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan berfungsi sebagai mediator secara parsial kompetitif. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan beban kerja dapat menyebabkan peningkatan stres dan penurunan kepuasan kerja pegawai. Hasil ini diharapkan menjadi masukan kepada Pimpinan untuk memperhatikan kepuasan kerja pegawai.   Job satisfaction in an organization reflects the extent to which employees like or dislike their work. Highly satisfied employees tend to exhibit positive attitudes in the workplace. This study focuses on the influence of workload on job satisfaction, with work stress as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at Dinas Perumahan, Kawasan Permukiman dan Pertanahan Kabupaten Buleleng, with a research population of 96 employees and a sample size of 77 individuals using a saturated sampling method. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires measured using the Likert Scale. Analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results of the study indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction and a positive effect on work stress. Work stress also showed a significant negative effect on job satisfaction and functioned as a partial competitive mediator. These findings confirm that an increase in work load can lead to increased stress and decreased job satisfaction among employees. These results are expected to serve as input for management to prioritize employee job satisfaction.
