Abstract

Kecamatan Banjarangkan Kabupaten, Klungkung mendapatkan program GP-PTT dengan rakitan teknologi tanam jajar legowo 2:1 dimana penyuluh pertanian sebagai ujung tombak pelaksanaan program. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kinerja penyuluh pertanian menurut petani, (2) menganalisis pengaruh kinerja penyuluh dan karakteristik petani terhadap perilaku petani, (3) menganalisis pengaruh perilaku petani terhadap produktivitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Banjarangkan, Kabupaten Klungkung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah petani yang mengikuti program GP-PTT yang menggunakan cara tanam jajar legowo 2:1 tahun 2015. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 96 petani yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 10%. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik propotional purposive sampling. Data di analisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan statistik menggunakan SmartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kinerja penyuluh di Kecamatan Banjarangkan masuk kategori baik; (2) kinerja penyuluh dan karakteristik petani berpengaruh nyata terhadap perilaku petani; (3) perilaku petani berpengaruh nyata terhadap produktivitas. Saran yang dapat diberikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) kinerja penyuluh dalam memandu menyusun rencana definitive kelompok perlu ditingkatkan; (2) pendidikan non formal berupa pelatihan dansekolah lapang intensitasnya perlu ditingkatkan; (3) dukungan pemerintah terhadap pembiayaan pendidikan non formal perlu di tingkatkan; (4) pengembangan penelitian lain perlu dilakukan dengan konstruk dan indicator yang berbeda untuk mendukung pemerintah mengambil kebijakan.

Abstract

Produksi yang maksimum dapat dicapai apabila penggunaan input secara optimum. Efisiensi produksi dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan input produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji; (1) pengaruh faktor-faktor produksi jahe gajah; (2) faktor inefisiensi dan efisiensi produksi jahe gajah; (3) pendapatan petani dalam usaha tani jahe gajah; dan (4) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam produksi jahe gajah. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 orang ditentukan dengan teknik Simple Random Samplin. Efisiensi produksi dianalisis menggunakan fungsi produksi Stochastic Frontier dengan program Frontier 4.1c dan pendapatan petani dianalisis menggunakan R/C ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) variabel luas lahan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi; (2) variabel pendidikan, pengalaman dan dummy penyuluhan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi, sedangkan usaha tani jahe gajah dinyatakan  efisien secara teknis dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,910, namun belum efisien secara alokatif dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,668 dan belum efisien secara ekonomis dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,599; (3) usaha tani jahe gajah sudah mengalami keuntungan dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,7; (4) kendala yang dihadapi petani jahe gajah adalah belum adanya standar harga, sulitnya mendapat akses pasar, dan penyakit busuk rimpang.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Tabanan Regency not only plays a role in food security, but also contributes significantly to sources of income. During the last five years the agricultural sector in Tabanan Regency has also contributed significantly to the GRDP of Tabanan Regency. The purpose of this study is to identify the superior potential of the agricultural sector in Tabanan Regency and to identify the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in Tabanan Regency. This study uses secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tabanan Regency and Bali Province. There are two analyzes used in this study, namely Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift Share analysis. The results of research using Location Quotient (LQ) analysis show that the agricultural sector is included in the category of leading sectors in Tabanan Regency. This is indicated by the Location Quotient (LQ) value that is greater than one. While the results of the study using Shift Share analysis show that the agricultural sector in Tabanan Regency is included in the category of sectors that have fast competitiveness compared to reference areas, this is because the value of Differential Shift shows a positive value.

Abstract

The Balanced scorecard is used to measure performance by observing the balance between financial and non financial side between short term and long term as well as involving the internal and external factors. The cooperative as a business entity is expected to implement the balanced scorecard to achieve the vision and mission of cooperation and improving the performance of cooperatives. The purpose of this research was to analyze the application of the four elements of the balanced scorecard which is expected to create cooperatives to compete with other economic institutions. This research was conducted with descriptive method to describe the application of the balanced scorecard element for a month in the Save unit borrow Cooperative Fisheries Segaraning Harum. The results showed the application of elements of a financial perspective using the current ratio, total assets to debt ratio rated very unhealthy and return on asset were judged enough healthy. Application of the elements of the perspective of customers using the level of customer satisfaction rated satisfied customer retention rate and are rated good. Application of the elements of the internal business processes perspective measured using Manufacturing Cycle Efficiency (MCE), namely the process of transaction deposits and loans rated has been running efficiently. Application of the elements of the learning and growth perspective employees using employee satisfaction level of votes satisfied the employee retention rate and are rated good Suggestionsfrom this researchthat thebalanced scorecardelementscan not only beusedas a measureof performancein theSegaraningHarumCooperative Fisheriesbutalsoas a strategy ofthe cooperative.Balancedscorecardshould begin tobe appliedas a measureof performanceineach ofthe cooperativein order to competewithother economicinstitutions. Abstract

In the context of developing agribusiness system, the role of agricultural cooperatives can be found in the development of aquaculture subsystem, subsystem upstream, downstream subsystem, as well as sub-systems support. In subsystem supporting cooperatives, they play an important role in the development of human resources of farmers, transfer of technology, the availability of capital and insurance, as well as leading negotiator at the same time advocates in developing a business climate that protects small farmers fate. The research objective is to determine the internal and external factors on the empowerment of farmer agribusiness-based cooperatives, formulated strategies needed to empower farmer agribusiness-based cooperative and to determine the most appropriate strategy in empowering farmers agribusiness-based cooperative at Farmers Cooperative Subak Uma Lambing, Sibang Kaja Abiansemal District Badung. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the internal and external factors are the strength of cooperatives is the channel of distribution, cash position, favorable location, the application of appropriate technologies, organizational structures are used, cooperative permission, assistants, a permanent member of the diverse, partnerships in term of purchasing the agricultural products from members. Internal factors which are weaknesses is the weakness of managerial, functional, operational, structural, and psychological, quality of human resources, ownership of the cooperative, the ability of cooperatives to buy the agricultural products, the means of production equipment, the spirit of using the services of the cooperative, capital accumulation through the principal savings and deposits compulsory. External environments which are the environmental of opportunities and threats are economic, social, cultural, demographic, political, governmental, legal, technological, competitive, governmental policies, guidance and supervision, the capacity of agricultural products, as service providers. External strategic factors include the rate of the economy, changes in interest rates are constantly changing, climate change. The strategy that needed to be formulated is the strategy of increasing financial capability, development, marketing, human resource development, regulation and control. The most appropriate strategy is to apply the principles of good corporate government (GCG).

Abstract

Market competition of traditional and modern markets can be referred to as the global competition. Traditional markets are faced with the modern market of foreign -owned firms in alliance and opened branches in major cities in Indonesia. One is Denpasar city is the provincial capital of Bali. Denpasar city is the center of government, education and the economy. Denpasar city was heavily explore the local culture by revitalizing traditional market presence. Kertha Traditional Market is one of the traditional market located in the Denpasar District East. The purpose of this study to determine the internal and external factors that affect the existence of Kertha Traditional Market, alternative strategies and priorities in the development of strategies Kertha Traditional Market . The study was conducted in Kertha Traditional Market, Kesiman Kertalangu Village, East Denpasar. Determined respondent knowingly, covering people involued in traditional markets, students, and faculty. Internal and external factors were analyzed with analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat (SWOT) to determine strategic alternatives and analysis Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine strategic priorities. The results showed in internal factors, the main strengths is the accessibility and the main weaknesses is the quality of human resources (merchants). In external factors that main opportunities is tourist arrivals and the main threaten is the stability of product prices in the modern market. Alternative strategies are update management strategy Kertha Traditional Market, increase promotion, a partnership between Kertha Traditional Market managers, traders and cooperatives, as well as counseling for the traders.  The main priority of the strategy is "Update Kertha Traditional Market management". Advice given to the manager of the Kertha Traditional Market expected to implement development strategies in priority order, first priority is update traditional market management, both is counseling for the traders, the third is partnership between Traditional Market Kertha managers, traders, and cooperatives, and the fourth is increase promotion Kertha Traditional Market.

Abstract

Abstract Implementation of the Women Empowerment Model Based on Develompment of Household Industrial Specific Local in Karangasem Regency, Bali Province Empowerment model obtained by Analytic Network Process (ANP) proposed a top priority industrial development strategy of household handicraft is through strengthening human resource competencies. Based on these results, the objectives of the activities are (1) to develop business institutions elected, namely the Joint Business Group (the Kube) in the handicraft industry of coconut shell, (2) increase the capabilities of businesses in terms of production management and marketing, (3) strengthen the institutional in order to the business groups able to utilize the facilities and production technology, as well as improving product marketing functions, and (4) develop a system of household handicraft industry in an integrated manner, supported by marketing management information system based on the web. The research location is the Kube named "Eka Lestari Mandiri", in the village of Abang, District of Abang, Karangasem regency. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method with a needs analysis approach (participatory need assessment). Suitable business partnership (business matching) realized at the business meeting session between the business group and the business partners through participatory learning and action. The number of respondents was 25 assigned census. The realization of activities to strengthen the competence of human resources carried out by changing the mindset of women of craftsmen through participatory training, strengthening production management and marketing capabilities, and consolidates communication and wider network. The results achieved from the implementation of the empowerment model are (1) the analysis of the needs of business groups, (2) create training modules and conduct participatory training on management of business, (3) conduct technical guidance of production management and marketing, (4) training to strengthen marketing information system web-based, (5) strengthening the institutional oriented to collective business community (socio-business), (6) benchmarking and business partnerships, and (7) monitoring and evaluation of the implementation and follow-up assistance. In the implementation of the strategy of strengthening human resource competencies, the business group of women should be oriented to produce premium quality handicraft, sustained innovation capabilities distinctive product design in order to support the independence of the business as well as the sustainability of the partnership contract. Abstract

Bali is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia, where there are three priority factors on Bali development. They are agriculture, tourism with its culture and Hindu religion and home industry to support agriculture and tourism sector. The rapid development in tourism sector is expected that the holticulture product especially local fruits could be accommodated by tourism industry especially the big or star hotels which most of them located at Badung Regency. But in this free trade globalization, imported fruits products spreading in Bali are as a tight competitors in order to be able market segment especially to the star hotels in Bali. The title of this research, the dominand factors for the demand of local fruits at star hotels in Badung Regency. The choice of this location is done by using purposive sampling. The purpose of this research are : (1) To identify the fruits needed at star hotels in Badung Regency. (2) To know the factors for demand of local fruits at star hotels in Badung Regency, and (3) To know the deminand factor for the demand of local fruits at star hotels in Badung Regency. The samples taken are 96 hotels by using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique. The data are collected by using (1) observation, (2) interview, (3) questionnaire and (4) documented method. There are 18 fixed variable indicators and they are analized by using inductive statistic. It is factor of analizes.  The result this research shows that : (1) There 10 kinds of fruits needed by the star hotels in Badung Regency such as : watermelon, melon, pineapple, papaya (popo), king banana, snakeskin fruit, kapok banana, gold banana, red apple and avocado. (2) There are 5 factors for local fruits demand at star hotels in Badung Regency. They are : the quality of the fruit, the price, hotel policy, continuation and government policy. (3) From those 5 factors available, exactly the quality of the fruits is as dominant factors to influence the demand of local fruits at the star hotels in Badung Regency.  From the result of this research could be suggested for : (1) Farmers. They should develop their knowledge and skill for planting local fruit plantations by joining agriculture information through both newspaper and electronically. (2) The supplier should have commitment to local fruits by doing more marketing to the star hotels in Bali especially in Badung Regency. (3) The government should give more agricultural information to the farmers and also to provide superior quality of the seed which are needed by the farmers and more tight policy for the imported fruits.

Abstract

The program is integrated farming systems by farmers. One of the groups that implement integrated farming system with cattle horticultural crops is gapoktan Budi Luhur. The study aims to determine the income  farmers in the farm in the village of  Simantri 116 uncertain , the district of Kintamani , Bangli Regency , based on patterns of integration between horticultural crops, cattle, land management and crop rotation on the farm in the village of  Simantri 116 uncertain, the district of Kintamani , Bangli Regency. Data were obtained from census survey methods through techniques of 23 respondents Gapoktan Budi Luhur farmer groups implementing Simantri 116 in Bangli regency. Secondary data were obtained from the written literature related to the research. Results were analyzed using analysis of gross margin income of Rp 64,955,152 Rupiahs citrus, gross margine of bananas Rp 276,978 rupiahs, gross margine of cabbage revenue of 1,099,573 rupiahs and Rp 9,015,489 rupiahs cattle every year. The land produces citrus production of 643 tonnes , 14. 705 bananas, cabbage 10 tons and 23 cows. So the total revenue earned by Simantri 116 of 75,347,192 rupiahs. The results showed that the respondents have an average of 1,06 hectares of land area. Land used for crop production with livestock includes an average 0.85 hectares of land for citrus productions, the average land cattle production  00,01 hectares, 12,03 for cabbage production remainder is used for banana production. The results of the analysis of data with a simple linear programming approach and gross margin analysis. The use of a simple linear programming analysis to select a combination of several activities that can maximize the gross income and to evaluate the effect of uncertainty on the farm gross profit in hectare of farm land. Gross margin analysis aims to determine the total income of the respondents. Based on the results of the analysis of risk factors obtained gross profit of 1,629.876.554 rupiahs,  to 1,788,452,493 rupiahs admission fee of 158 575 938 rupiahs production facilities for all commodities in production with a maximum of 10 % of risk costs in hectare. Farmers who might avoid the risk of selecting plants that will generate a small but gross profit low risk, otherwise the plants will produce large gross profit but high risk. In this case the farmer would probably avoid the risk of selecting plants that will generate a small but gross profit low risk, otherwise the plants will produce large gross profit but high risk will be avoided so that farmers can increase farm income through a crop with livestock integration systems.

Abstract

Marketing system in important part in agribusiness system with forming connectivity of agriculture produck from farmer’s to the final consumer. The marketing system wil influence product purchasing including divides of benefit. Use of descriptive method Analysis in this research is aims to clarify how are the potato producing in Hatu-Builiko Sub-District delivery to the market consume. The purpose of the research to determine how far the channel marketing involve, how’s the marketing function applied to the condition of the market and which marketing channel mostly  efficient trough margin marketing and farmer share. The sample of location and sample of farmer were selected by purposive sampling method; and the sample of trades was selected trough snowbowling sampling method. The number of farmer’s was selected 20 peoples and the number of trades was selected fourteen peoples.the technical coleteing data was by observation and direct interview. The research conducted in Hatu-Builiko Sub District at Ainaro District of Timor Leste. The result, there were three channel of marketing applied, mostly the three marketing channel function were selling potatoin Ainaro District market. Market structure was conducted as monophony for the farmer’s, monopoly for the trade collector and free competition for the retailer and wholesalers. The market behavior was elaborate in good way between farmer’s and trade collector and either between trade collector and retailer and also trade collector and wholesalers. The payment procedure was cash based. The most efficient marketing channel wascontributing the best value as the result of margin marketing and farmer share which is was third marketing channel.
