Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur realisme di dalam naskah drama karya guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMAS Laboratorium Undiksha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah naskah drama pada pembelajaran drama di SMAS Laboratorium Undiksha, khususnya yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pengganti naskah drama yang terdapat di dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia edisi revisi tahun 2017; di kelas XI pada Jurusan Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (MIPA). Objek penelitian ini adalah unsur realisme di dalam naskah drama guru Bahasa Indonesia. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa unsur realisme yang terkandung di dalam naskah drama yang dibuat oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMAS Laboroatorium Undiksha, meliputi: (1) realisme sosial, (2) realisme psikologis, dan (3) realisme magis. Unsur reaslisme sosial terdapat pada naskah berjudul Grubug dan Anjing Sambada; unsur realisme psikologis terdapat pada naskah berjudul Siapa Aku?; dan unsur realisme magis terdapat pada naskah berjudul Sungsang. Abstract: This research aims to describe the realism element in drama scripts by Indonesian teachers at SMAS Laboratorium Undiksha. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research are drama scripts in drama learning at SMAS Laboratorium Undiksha, especially those used as teaching materials to replace drama scripts contained in the revised 2017 edition of Indonesian textbooks; in class XI in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA). The object of this research is the realism element in the drama script of the Indonesian teacher. The data collection method used is literature study. The results of this study indicate that realism elements contained in the drama script made by the Indonesian teacher at SMAS Laboroatorium Undiksha, include: (1) social realism, (2) psychological realism, and (3) magical realism. Social realism elements are found in the text entitled Grubug and Anjing Sambada; psychological realism elements are found in the manuscript entitled Siapa Aku?; Magical realism elements are found in the manuscript entitled Sungsang.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe thesis, antithesis, and the existence synthesis Kembar Buncingin Incest novel by I Wayan artika. The design of this research is qualitative descriptive by usingstructural approach. This research use Hegel Dialectical Theory. The result of this research show thatthesis, antithesis, and synthesis caused by the differences of customs development in Jelungkap Village.The other researchers should observe this novel from the other aspects, such as feminist actorsby using feminism theory.Key words: thesis, antithesis, synthesis, kembar buncing, incest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) unsur instrinsik cerpen pada antologi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” karya Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten dan (2) aspek sosiokultura masyarakat Bali pada antologi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” karya Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah antologi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” karya Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. Objek penelitiannya adalah unsur instrinsik dan aspek sosiokultural masyarakat Bali pada antologi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” karya Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kartu data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) unsur instrinsik antologi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” karya Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten terdiri dari adanya tema, alau cerita, penokohan dan perwatakan, latar (setting), sudut pandang, dan amanat. (2) aspek sosiokultural masyarakat Bali pada antologi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” karya Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten adalah sosiokultural Bali tentang pola waris, Pura Kawitan, subak, trehan balian, nyastra, soca atau kayu les, canang sari, kasta, tari Bali, dan omed-omedan.. Adapun saran dari penelitian ini agar isi cerpen “Warisan Jagal” ini bisa berguna dalam kehudupan masyarakat BaliKata Kunci : Unsur instrinsik, sosiokultural, dan cerpen. The purpose of this observation is to describe (1) the intrinsic elements of the short story in an anthology of short stories "Warisan Jagal" by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten and (2) aspects of Balinese people’s sosiokultural at the anthology of short story "Warisan Jagal" by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. This observation was designed as a qualitative descriptive observation. The subjects of this observation is an anthology of short stories "Warisan Jagal" by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. The object of observation is intrinsic elements and socio-cultural aspects of Balinese People on the anthology of short story "Warisan Jagal" by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. The accumulation of the file is by using a file card method. The results of this observation show that (1) the intrinsic elements of the anthology of short story "Warisan Jagal" by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten,it is consists of the theme, plot, characterization and disposition, background (setting), viewpoints, and mandate. (2) aspects of Balinese People sociocultural on the anthology of short story "Warisan Jagal" by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten is the sociocultural of Bali on inheritance pattern, Pura kawitan, subak, Trehan healers, usada ejection, soca stone or wood les, canang sari, caste, Balinese dance, and traditions omed-omedan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan (1) struktur naratif, (2) peristiwa-peristiwa naratif, dan (3) Nilai pendidikan karakter yang ada dalam geguritan Partha Yadnya milik I Nyoman Jegog. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah geguritan Partha Yadnya milik I Nyoman Jegog. Objek penelitiannya yaitu struktur naratif, peristiwa-peristiwa naratif dan nilai pendidikan karakter yang ada dalam geguritan Partha Yadnya milik I Nyoman Jegog. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan teknik baca catat. Hasil pelelitiannya yaitu (1) Struktur naratif geguritan Partha Yadnya milik I Nyoman Jegog, seperti bagian pendahuluan, bagian perkembangan, dan bagian peleraian, (2) Peristiwa-peristiwa naratif dalam geguritan Partha Yadnya milik I Nyoman Jegog, seperti peristiwa naratif kriminal, sosial keagamaan, kepahlawanan dan keagamaan, dan (3) Nilai pendidikan karakter dalam geguritan Partha Yadnya ada 12, yaitu Religius, Jujur, Toleransi, Disiplin, Kerja Keras, Mandiri, Rasa Ingin Tahu, Menghargai Prestasi, Bersahabat/Komunikatif, Cinta Damai, Peduli Sosial, dan Tanggung Jawab.Kata Kunci : struktur naratif, nilai pendidikan karakter, geguritan Partha Yadnya This research aims to describe (1) the narrative structure, (2) the narrative events, and (3) educational value character in geguritan Partha Yadnya owned Nyoman Jegog .This research used a descriptive-qualitative research design. Abstract

Tetilik puniki matetujon mangda prasida nelebin (1) wangun jroning lan (2) rerawatan pikobet krama Bali sane munggah ring novel “Uug”. Tetilik puniki kalaksanyang antuk palihan tetilik deskriptif kualitatif. Jejering tetilik puniki inggih punika novel sane mamurda “Uug”, karya I Nyoman Manda. Sane dados panandang ring tetilik puniki inggih punika wangun jroning lan rerawatan pikobet krama Bali sane munggah ring novel “Uug”.Kramaning mupulang data sane kaanggen ring tetilik puniki inggih punika kramaning dokumentasi lan kramaning pratiyaksa. Data tureksa ring tetilik puniki ngangge kramaning deskriptif kualitatif. Pikolih saking tetilik puniki, minakadi: (1) Wangun jroning novel sane mamurda “Uug”, kawangun olih: unteng, lelintihan, setting, genah sang pangawi, pragina lan paabah-abahnyane, basita paribasa, lan piteket. (2) Rerawatan pikobet krama Bali sane munggah ring novel “Uug” inggih punika pikobet ngeninin indik: (a) lalu-lintas lan kemacetan, (b) konsumtivisme, (c) KKN (Korupsi, Kolusi, Nepotisme), (d) demonstrasi, (e) alih fungsi lahan, (f) pangrencana tata ruang, (g) reklamasi, (h) ekonomi, (i) perselingkuhan, (j) tawuran remaja, (k) kahuripan maagama, (l) kawijakan pemerintah, (m) kawentenan Basa Bali, (n) hukum waris adat Bali, (o) pemeliharaan infrastruktur, (p) perjudian, (q) spirit idup, lan (r) biuta kulawarga. Malarapan saking indike punika prasida kauningin yening kawentenan jagat Bali ring aab mangkin sampun sayan uug. Piteket ring sajeroning tetilik puniki, majeng ring sang pangwacen kaaptiang sumangdane prasida nelebin wangun jroning ring sajeroning karya sastra lan nincapang malih ngwacen kriya sastra Bali saantukan akeh madaging guna sarat turmaning prasida kadadosang sasuluh lan titi pangancan ri tatkala ngamargiang kahuripan. Kata Kunci : Rerawatan Pikobet, Krama Bali, Novel This study aims to describe (1) the intrinsic elements and (2) description of the problems the people of Bali are contained in the novel "Uug".This study uses descriptive qualitative research design. Subjects of this study is novel titled "Uug" by I Nyoman Manda and description of the problems the people of Bali are contained in the novel "Uug". Data collection methods used is documentation method and observation method. Analysis of the data in this study using descriptive data analysis kualtitatif. Results from this study are: (1) intrinsic elements that build novel entitled "Uug" consists of theme, plot, setting, point of view, character, characterization, style, and mandate. (2) description of the problems the people of Bali are contained in the novel "Uug" that the problems concerning: (a) traffic and congestion, (b) konsumtivisme, (c) KKN (corruption, collusion, nepotism), (d) demonstration, (e) land conversion, (f) spatial planning, (g) reclamation, (h) economic, (i) infidelity, (j) teenage brawl, (k) religious life, (l) government policy, (m) the existence of Balinese language, (n) customary inheritance law Bali, (o) maintenance infrastructure, (p) gambling, (q) spirit alive, and (r) tempests households. Based on this, it can be seen that situation nowadays is getting destroyed Bali. Abstract

Tetilik sane mamurda Seseleh Wangun Instrinsik lan Guna Sarat Sosial ring Novel Sentana Pakaryan I Made Sugianto madue tetujon: (1) mangda prasida nelatarang indik wangun instrinsik sane wenten ring novel sane mamurda Sentana karya I Made Sugianto, (2) mangda prasida nelatarang indik guna sarat sosial sane wenten ring novel Sentana karya I Made Sugianto. Tetilik puniki kalaksanyang antuk palihan tetilik deskriptif kualitatif. Jejering tetilik puniki inggih punika novel sane mamurda Sentana, taler penandangnyane inggih punika wangun instrinsik miwah guna sarat sosial. Kramaning mupulang data ring tetilik puniki wenten kalih inggih punika kramaning dokumentasi miwah kramaning pratiaksa sane kawantu antuk teknik baca, simak, catat taler nganggen piranti tetilik marupa kartu data. Data sane sampun kapolihang katureksain antuk pamargi data tureksa sakadi: reduksi data, ngawedarang data miwah verifikasi data. Pikolih ring tetilik puniki, inggih punika, (1) saking seseleh wangun instrinsik, kapolihang 7 kepahan wangun instrinsik ring novel sane mamurda Sentana sakadi: unteng, pragina lan pangabah-abahnyane, lelintihan, rerawatan, genah sang pangawi, gaya bahasa, lan piteket, (2) saking seseleh guna sarat sosial, kapolihang 11 kepahan guna sarat sosial ring novel sane mamurda Sentana sakadi: pengabdian, tolong menolong, kekeluargaan, kesetiaan, kepedulian, rasa memiliki, disiplin, empati, toleransi, kerjasama, lan demokrasi.Kata Kunci : instrinsik, guna sarat sosial, novel This study entitled An Analysis of Intrinsic Elements and Social Values on novel entitled Sentana by I Made Sugianto were aimed: (1) to describe the intrinsic elements that exist in the novel entitled Sentana by I Made Sugianto (2) to describe the social values that exist in the novel “Sentana” by I Made Sugianto. The data analysis of this study was using descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study is the novel entitled Sentana, whereas the object of this study is the intrinsic element and social value. The methods of data collection in this study there were two methods; documentation and observation method that assisted with reading technique, see, record and the research instrument in the form of a data card. The data were analyzed by measures such as data reduction, data presentation and verification of data. The results of this study were (1) the intrinsic elemental analysis in the novel entitled Sentana obtained 7 parts intrinsic elements such as: theme, character and characterization, plot, setting, point of view, the style of language, and the mandate, (2) from the analysis of social value in novel entitled Sentana obtained 11 parts of social values, such as: devotion, mutual help, kinship, loyalty, caring, sense of belonging, discipline, empathy, tolerance, cooperation, and democracy.keyword : intrinsic, social values, novel

Abstract

Tetilikan puniki nguningayang indik: (1)rerawatan sosiokultural sane marupa dresta lan tattwa taler, (2) paiketan pangajahan sastra Bali ring buku pupulan satua Khasanah Cerita Rakyat Bali olih I Made Subandia sane katilikin olih panilik. Tetilikan puniki nganggen palihan tetilik deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek ring tetilikan puniki pupulan “Satua Bali” sane kapupulang olih I Made Subandia. Objek tetilikan inggih punika rerawatan sosiokultural krama Bali lan paiketannyane sareng pangajahan sastra Bali ring satua Bali sane kapupulang olih I Made Subandia. Pamupulan data nganggen kramaning studi dokumen inggih punika marupa kartu data. Pikolih tetilikan puniki nyantenang (1) dresta lan tattwa sane wenten ring buku pupulan satua Khasanah Cerita Rakya Bali olih I Made Subandia sane ngunggahang kawentenan krama Bali ring serahina-rahina dahat mapaiketan ring daging 12 satua sane katilikin. Satua sane katilikin ngranjing ring pahan dongeng sane akehnyane 12 satua. Sane ngawinang pahan dongeng sane katilikin tan lian wantah, kawentenan krama Bali ring satua dahat mapaiketan sareng kawentenan krama Bali ring wawidangan parikraman. (2) Paiketan sareng pangajahan sastra Bali inggih punika sakancan daging satua ngicenin sasuluhan ring pangwacen, sumangdene uning maparilaksana sane anut ring kahuripan puniki. Malarapan antuk punika dahat mawiguna pisan majeng ring para pangwacen ritatkala keanggen sasulu maparilaksanah, majalaran malajahin daging-daging satua Bali sekancan dresta lan tattwanyane. Kata Kunci : Dresta, tattwa, sosiokultural, satua bawak This study was aimed at describing about (1) the socio-cultural description in the form of culture and philosophy, and also (2) the relationship with Balinese Language Teaching from the collection of Bali story entitled “ Khasanah Cerita Rakyat Bali” by I Made Subandia. The research design of this study was descriptive qualitative. The subject for this study was collection of Balinese Stories by I Made Subandia. Meanwhile, the object for this study was the socio-cultural description in the form of culture and philosophy, and also the relationship with Bali Language Teaching from the collection of Bali story entitled “ Khasanah Cerita Rakyat Bali” by I Made Subandia. Documentation study technique with Data Card was used to collect the data. The result reveals that (1) the culture and philosophy within the book story entitled Kasanah Cerita Rakyat Bali by I Made Subandia described about Balinese people’ daily activities which was found from 12 stories in the book, (2) the relationship with Bali Language Teaching was all the stories give good model for the readers about how the readers behave in their daily life. In conclusion, this study is very beneficial for the readers as the reflection for their behavior and attitude in their daily life through the description of culture and philosophy in Balinese stories. keyword : culture, pilsafat, sociocultural, storis Bali

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa pada pembelajaran bermain peran (drama) dengan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, (2) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam menerapkan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, dan (3) mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap penerapan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan dan siswa kelas VIIIA2 di SMP Negeri 3 Sawan yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan hasil, langkah-langkah, dan respons siswa dalam penerapan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes, metode observasi, dan metode angket/kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) tercapainya ketuntasan hasil belajar bermain peran (drama) siswa berkat diterapkannya penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, yakni pada pratindakan skor rata-rata klasikal 66, siklus I memperoleh skor rata-rata klasikal 68, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata klasikal siswa menjadi 75, (2) terdapat beberapa langkah penerapan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bermain peran (drama). Langkah-langkah tersebut menekankan pada pembelajaran bagaimana caranya agar siswa mampu menghayati karakter masing-masing tokoh yang ada dalam drama Alibaba, baik dari segi mimik wajah, bahasa tubuh, suara, serta penjiwaan pada setiap karakter tokohnya, dan (3) siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat positif terhadap penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti lain disarankan untuk menerapkan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa, untuk mata pelajaran yang lain pada umumnya dan pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, pada khususnya.Kata Kunci : metode connected berbantuan media drama Alibaba This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims (1) to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes so as to achieve the level of mastery learning outcomes of students in role-play activities (drama) connected with the adoption of media-assisted learning drama Alibaba, (2) describe the steps taken in apply the method of application of connected media-assisted learning Alibaba drama, and (3) describe the response of students to the application of the method application connected media-assisted learning Alibaba drama. Subjects in this study were teachers and students and classes at SMP Negeri 3 VIIIA2 Sawan, amounting to 20 students. Object of this research is the improvement of results, the steps, and the response of the students in the application implementation method connected media-assisted learning Alibaba drama. Data collection methods used in this study is the method of testing, observation, and questionnaire methods / questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques of quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of this study were (1) to achieve mastery of learning outcomes play a role (drama) students thanks to the implementation of the application of media-assisted learning methods connected Alibaba drama, on average pre-action classical score 66, the cycle I gained an average score of 68 classical, while the second cycle the average value of a classical student becomes 75, (2) there are several steps the application implementation method connected media-assisted learning Alibaba drama to enhance the ability to play a role (drama). These steps emphasis on learning how to make students able to appreciate the character of each character in the drama Alibaba, both in terms of facial expressions, body language, voice, and inspiration on every character of her subjects, and (3) students responded very positively to the application of the method connected media-assisted learning Alibaba drama. Based on these results, other researchers suggested to apply the method of application of connected media-assisted learning Alibaba drama, as one of the innovative learning model to improve the students' ability, to other subjects in general and the Indonesian lesson, in particular.keyword : media-assisted method of drama connected Alibaba

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa pada pembelajaran bermain peran (drama) dengan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, (2) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam menerapkan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, dan (3) mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap penerapan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan dan siswa kelas VIIIA2 di SMP Negeri 3 Sawan yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan hasil, langkah-langkah, dan respons siswa dalam penerapan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes, metode observasi, dan metode angket/kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) tercapainya ketuntasan hasil belajar bermain peran (drama) siswa berkat diterapkannya penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba, yakni pada pratindakan skor rata-rata klasikal 66, siklus I memperoleh skor rata-rata klasikal 68, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata klasikal siswa menjadi 75, (2) terdapat beberapa langkah penerapan penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bermain peran (drama). Langkah-langkah tersebut menekankan pada pembelajaran bagaimana caranya agar siswa mampu menghayati karakter masing-masing tokoh yang ada dalam drama Alibaba, baik dari segi mimik wajah, bahasa tubuh, suara, serta penjiwaan pada setiap karakter tokohnya, dan (3) siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat positif terhadap penerapan metode connected berbantuan media pembelajaran drama Alibaba. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan stilistika yang digunakan pada cerpen-cerpen yang dimuat dalam antologi cerpen pilihan Kompas tahun 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni dan (2) mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung pada cerpen-cerpen yang dimuat dalam antologi cerpen pilihan Kompas tahun 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua belas cerpen dari dua puluh cerpen yang terdapat dalam antologi cerpen pilihan Kompas tahun 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni, yaitu “Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni”, “Mayat yang Mengambang di Danau”, “Pohon Hayat”, “Requiem Kunang-Kunang”, “Batu-Asah dari Benua Australia”, “Pemanggil Bidadari”, “Ambe Masih Sakit”, “Wajah Itu Membayang di Piring Bubur”, “Perempuan Balian”, “Dua Wajah Ibu”, “Mayat di Simpang Jalan”, dan “Kurma Kiai Karnawi”. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi dengan teknik baca catat. Data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut. (1) Aspek stilistika yang terdiri atas unsur leksikal, gramatikal, retorika, dan kohesi dalam cerpen-cerpen yang diteliti sudah digunakan secara tepat dan sesuai dengan fungsinya masing-masing. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh ketepatan penggunaan kata, ketepatan susunan kalimat, ketepatan penggunaan majas, ketepatan pemilihan bentuk penyiasatan struktur, ketepatan pilihan pencitraan, dan kekohesifan gagasan dalam cerpen-cerpen tersebut. Ketepatan penggunaan unsur-unsur stilistika tersebut pada akhirnya mengakibatkan ketepatan penyampaian pesan kepada pembaca dan terciptanya efek estetis serta penekanan pada gagasan-gagasan tertentu yang diinginkan oleh pengarang. (2) Cerpen-cerpen yang terdapat dalam Antologi Cerpen Pilihan Kompas tahun 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni mengandung pesan atau amanat yang termasuk dalam nilai pendidikan karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam cerpen-cerpen yang terdapat dalam Antologi Cerpen Pilihan Kompas tahun 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni, yaitu: religius, cinta tanah air, peduli lingkungan, pantang menyerah, kreatif, kerja keras, dan cinta damai. Kata Kunci : stilistika, nilai pendidikan karakter, antologi cerpen pilihan Kompas tahun 2012 This study was aimed at (1) describing stylistics used in the short stories of short story anthology selected by Kompas in 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni and (2) describing the character values observed in the short stories of short story anthology selected by Kompas in 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni. This study was a descriptive qualitative study. The subject was twelve short stories among twenty short stories contained in the short story anthology selected by Kompas in 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni, such as “Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni”, “Mayat yang Mengambang di Danau”, “Pohon Hayat”, “Requiem Kunang-Kunang”, “Batu-Asah dari Benua Australia”, “Pemanggil Bidadari”, “Ambe Masih Sakit”, “Wajah Itu Membayang di Piring Bubur”, “Perempuan Balian”, “Dua Wajah Ibu”, “Mayat di Simpang Jalan”, and “Kurma Kiai Karnawi”. The method of data collection used in this study was documentation method with the technique of read-note. The data gained then were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative technique. The result indicated several things as follow, (1) the stylistic aspects which consisted of lexical, grammatical, rhetorical, and cohesion in the short stories being analyzed was used correctly and according to its each function. This was proven by the correct use of words, the sentence structure accuracy, the precision use of figurative language, the appropriate application of structure strategy, the accuracy of imaging options and cohesion of ideas in the short stories. The accurate use of those elements in turn resulted on the stylistic accuracy of delivering message to the readers and the impression of aesthetic effects and emphasis on certain ideas desired by the author. (2) the stories contained in the short story anthology selected by Kompas in 2012, Laki-Laki Pemanggul Goni contained character values. The character values observed in those short stories were religious, patriotic, caring environment, never give up, creative, hard working, and love of peace. keyword : stylistic, the character value, an anthology of short stories selected by Kompas in 2012
