Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia requires an evaluation of teaching materials, including textbooks, to ensure alignment with the principles of the curriculum, but systematic research on textbook analysis is still limited. This research aims to identify research trends in the analysis of elementary school student books under the Merdeka Curriculum during the period 2020-2025. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the researchers analyzed 5 journal articles and proceedings indexed in Google Scholar published between 2020-2025, focusing on studies of the analysis of Indonesian language textbooks for elementary school students. The research findings indicate: (1) an increasing trend in research on the analysis of Merdeka Curriculum textbooks, (2) the dominance of Universitas Negeri Semarang as the most active institution in this field, and (3) a diversity of analytical instruments used according to the individual objectives of each study. The study's conclusion underscores the importance of raising awareness among educators and researchers in evaluating the feasibility of textbooks, as well as the need for the development of more consistent analysis standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trends, models, and effects of using ethnomathematics-based Student Worksheets in mathematics learning in elementary schools. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review by synthesizing 15 articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis with deductive and inductive reasoning to interpret and conclude the results of the study. The results of the analysis show that Research and Development studies dominate, integrating culture and mathematical material, such as geometry and arithmetic operations. Ethnomathematics-based LKPD can significantly improve students' mathematical concepts because it bridges abstract mathematical concepts to more concrete ones, making learning more meaningful and playing a role in instilling cultural values in students.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has opened new opportunities for innovation in education, including the use of Powtoon as a learning medium. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Powtoon in improving students’ learning outcomes in accounting at the senior high school level. Using a literature review method, data were collected from various scientific articles and journals, then analyzed through a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings show that integrating Powtoon into the learning process significantly enhances student engagement, motivation, and understanding. Data from multiple studies indicate improvements in learning achievement across affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains, with an average increase in student performance from 71.85% to 89.22% after using animated media. Additionally, Powtoon effectively accommodates diverse learning styles, particularly for visual learners. In conclusion, Powtoon serves not only as a visual aid but also as a powerful tool to increase learning effectiveness, foster a more interactive classroom environment, and support the holistic development of students in alignment with an independent curriculum. Therefore, Powtoon is strongly recommended as an innovative learning medium for accounting and other subject areas

Abstract

Learning achievement is the result achieved by a person to achieve predetermined goals. This study is to test organizational activity, learning motivation and learning discipline on student learning achievement by presenting self-efficiency as an intervening variable. In addition, seven hypotheses were proposed in this study to ascertain whether the independent variables of organizational activeness have a direct influence on each other, learning motivation and learning discipline, through intervening variables  of self-efficiency on the dependent variable of learning achievement. The population in quantitative research amounted to 381 students of Economic Education, Semarang State University in 2020. A sample of 195 respondents from Semarang State University Economic Education was selected using proportional random sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires, descriptive statistical data analysis, and path analysis. The results of this study show: (1) organizational activity has a direct influence on learning achievement positively and insignificantly, (2) direct influence of learning motivation on learning achievement positively and significantly, (3) direct influence of learning discipline on learning achievement positively and significantly, (4) direct influence of self efficiency  On  learning achievement positively and significantly, (5) the direct influence of organizational activity on learning achievement through self efficiency positively and significantly, (6) the direct influence of learning motivation on learning achievement through self efficiency positively and significantly  , (7) the direct influence of learning discipline on learning achievement through self efficiency positively and significantly.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes remain an important aspect that serves as a standard for the success of learning in schools. Therefore, it is important to understand student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the utilization of Madrasah e-learning as a learning media for the economics subject at the State Islamic Senior High School in Demak and to determine the effectiveness of the utilization of Madrasah e-learning in improving student learning outcomes. This research was a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study consisted of 403 students from the twelfth grade of State Islamic Senior High School of Demak. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data processed in the study used primary data obtained from observations, questionnaires, and learning outcome data distributed directly to Grade XII students of State Islamic Senior High School of Demak. The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis and the difference test between the experimental class and the control class using the Mann-Whitney U statistical test. The results of this study indicate that madrasah e-learning has been proven effective in increasing student learning outcomes, with the percentage of improvement in the experimental class being higher than that of the control class. Learning through web-based media is more effective in increasing student learning outcomes. A suggestion for future research is to examine the differences in the use of madrasah e-learning between young and senior teachers.

Abstract

General Background: Education in the 21st century demands learning approaches that foster higher-order thinking skills. Specific Background: Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has been widely used to structure learning experiences that encourage critical thinking. However, learning media such as Student Worksheets (LKPD) require systematic evaluation to ensure their effectiveness. Knowledge Gap: Although many studies have developed PBL-based LKPD, there has been no comprehensive review analyzing publication trends, validity, practicality, and results from multiple studies. Aims: This study aims to synthesize findings from national studies on the development and implementation of PBL-based LKPD to train students’ critical thinking skills. Results: A total of 17 articles (2019–2025) were systematically reviewed. Most studies (88.24%) reported that PBL-based LKPD were valid, practical, and effective in fostering critical thinking, with publication trends increasing notably between 2023 and 2025. Novelty: This review applies the Systematic Literature Review method to provide a structured synthesis, identifying variations in research focus across educational levels. Implications: The findings support the strategic use of PBL-based LKPD as innovative learning media to cultivate critical thinking skills and inform future curriculum development and research. Highlight: PBL-based LKPD consistently validated as effective tools for critical thinking. Research focus varies by educational level, reflecting implementation stages. Publication trends reveal growing interest in innovative learning approaches.
